"You've found clothes...what a shame." Kol smirks as I walk into the room.

"Yes I did, sorry to disappoint you." I glare, before rolling my eyes. I join Klaus on the sofa, smiling slightly when I see he is drawing. He showed me a bunch of his drawings earlier. He's actually a pretty amazing drawer.

"Did you borrow Rebekah's clothes?" Klaus asks, not looking up from his drawing.

"Yeah, and her shower. I needed to freshen up." I say, taking out my phone. I ignore all the messages from Stefan, and just open up Tumblr. What would I do without Tumblr? It amuses me so much when I see posts about Twilight, and vampires. We're not like that.

"Well, well, well, there's our girl." Kol comments, and I look up seeing Rebekah walk into the room still in her dress fro last night. Great...she had sex with Damon. I don't even need to ask to know she did. Damon was a reckless mess last night, and Rebekah will always take advantage of that.

Rebekah tries to walk past him but Kol steps in front of her, not letting her buy. "Get out of my way Kol." Rebekah growls.

"Out all night, what a scandal." Kol grins, stepping in front of her once again when she tries to get buy. "I trust you did better than that commoner. Matt what is it?"

"If you don't shut your mouth then the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth." Rebekah threatens, causing me to smile slightly.

"Don't start Aria." Rebekah glares, shoving Kol out of the way.

"I didn't say anything." I smile, holding my hands up in innocence.

"At least Rebekah is having fun...I need entertainment." Kol complains, plopping down on the sofa.

"What are you waiting for then? Go on, have at it." Klaus says, giving his brother a bored look.

"It's no fun to go alone, join me Nik. It's the least you could do after sticking a dagger in my heart." Kol pouts.

"Okay, why not? I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night with you trying to murder Rebekah's date." Klaus smirks, getting up off the sofa. Oh yeah, Kol tried to murder Matt...

"Go on, this house has enough men rolling around in it." Rebekah calls out as they leave. Thanks for saying goodbye Klaus.

"Just like you Rebekah." Kol smirks, walking backwards for a second.

"Good riddance, both of you!" Rebekah yells, throwing her shoe at him as he walks out the door.

"So...did you and Damon have fun last night?" I ask, putting my phone away.

"Aria, I'm sorry, I know that you care about Damon. I swear it was nothing." Rebekah says quickly, thinking I'm mad or something.

I laugh, surprising her. "Did you have fun last night?"

"I guess...?" she frowns uncertain.

I stand up, giving her a quick hug. "Then I'm happy. I'm not mad Rebekah. I swear."

Rebekah smiles, "I definitely thought you'd be furious. I was honestly scared..."

I wink at her, "I'm a very reasonable person about this kind of stuff Bekah. Just ask Elena."

Rebekah rolls her eyes, "Oh yeah, you're great with anger management."

"I am." I grin, "Just like you."

"Yes, you're both well collected people. I think everyone knows that." Elijah comments walking into the room, but he has a troubled look on his face.

"What's wrong with you? You look like your pet rock just died." I point out.

"I do not keep a pet...rock." Elijah frowns.

I fake surprise, "No shit."

"Shut up Aria, we all know you're hilarious." Rebekah deadpans.

"You know you love me." I smirk, giving her an obnoxious kissy face.

"I'm worried about our mother Rebekah. Have you not noticed her stage behavior?" Elijah asks Rebekah, getting back to what he came in here for.

"She's been dead for a thousand years? What's strange for her?" Rebekah sighs, giving her a brother a weird look.

Elijah holds something out to Rebekah, "Burned sage, she was doing a privacy spell."

"You know she fancies such things." Rebekah shrugs, "Why don't you ask Finn, he's been with her every second."

"I don't trust Finn, he hates what we are, always has." Elijah says.

"That's not true." Rebekah argues, "And as for mother, she returned for one reason, to make our family whole. She loves us. What trouble are you looking to find?"

"We don't go looking for trouble Bekah, it seems to find us." I sigh.

==================

"So, why are you bringing me with you to talk to Elena again?" I ask, as Elijah and I drive towards my old house. I'm really confused as to why he is bringing me. He probably has some master plan that he is not telling me about.

"Your sister is very cautious of you these days...I thought that would help me get the answers I need." Elijah explains.

"So I'm like hired muscle? She's a lot more scared of you than she is of me Elijah. You're pretty scary when you want to be." I point out.

"Right now Aria, she believes that you will hurt her if she pushes you past your limit. She believes I will not touch her since Klaus needs her. You're a scare tactic. Plus, you're not bad company Aria." Elijah smiles.

"You just made me sound pretty badass. Thanks buddy." I grin, giving him a shoulder nudge.

He rolls his eyes, "I do not wish to contribute to your already big ego Aria."

"I don't have a big ego." I lie.

"Yes you do." Elijah smirks, "That is why Klaus and you are so close. You're both very egotistical."

"Wow. That hurts." I grab my heart, acting all dramatic.

"I'm sure it does." Elijah laughs, pulling up to my old house.

We get out of the car, heading up towards the front door. Elijah raises his hand, lightly knocking on the door. Elena opens up the door, a startled look coming over her face when she sees it is Elijah and I.

"Elena." Elijah gives her a fake smile.

"Elijah. Aria." Elena greets, giving us the same fake smile.

"We don't mean to intrude but I was hoping you might accompany us. I want to show you something. Aria hasn't seen it either so it'll be a surprise for both of you." Elijah says, making me wonder where he is taking us.

"Alright." Elena nods, grabbing her jacket, and shutting the door behind her.

Wonder what Elijah has in mind.

==================

Elijah finally stops the car, having gotten us to where he wants. We are in the middle of the freaking woods. Thank God I trust Elijah or else I would think he took us out here to murder us. If I were Elena, I'd be scared right now. But then again, I think she has respect for Elijah as well.

"Forgot how much I missed this land." Elijah comments, a small smile on his face. So this is where they lived when they were here a thousand years ago?

"I can't imagine what it must have been like a thousand years ago." Elena says, shoving her hands in her pockets.

"Your guys school was built on an Indian village, it was where I saw my first werewolf. The town square is where the natives would gather to worship. Matter of fact, near that, there was a field. Where wild horses used to graze." Elijah explains.

"That's incredible." I smile.

"Come." Elijah gestures with his head for us to follow him. He takes us a few steps deeper into the woods. He stops in a small clearing, huge boulders to one side of us.

"Do you know this place too?" Elena asks.

"I do." Elijah nods, "Below us is a cavern I used to play in as a boy. It connects to a system of tunnels that stretch across the entire area. Perhaps it was natures way of providing us shelter against the savagery of the full moon. My mother said their must be a balance..." Elijah frowns, and I see Elena get nervous. What is she hiding?

"Elijah I should probably get home." Elena states, her voice rising with nerves.

"I admire you Elena. You remind me of qualities I valued long before my mother turned us...It's not in your nature to be deceitful, yet when I asked you about your meeting with my mother the other night....you lied to my face." Elijah has a small smirk on his face, knowing he's intimidating Elena right now.

"That's not true, I told you all your mother wanted was a new start." Elena lies, her heartbeat speeding up.

"We can hear your heartbeat Elena. It jumps when you're lying to us. Like you did just now." I shrug, a grin on my face.

"You lied to me at the ball and you're lying to us right now. Tell me the truth." Elijah commands, a deadly look in his eyes now. Elena starts to take a few steps back, but I speed behind her, blocking her. She looks back at me cautiously, and I reply with a smirk.

"I never wanted this to happen." Elena admits nervously.

"Wanted what Elena?" Elijah growls, his patience gone now.

"We were told that whatever was going to be in that coffin would kill Klaus. When we found out it was your mother we didn't know what to think." Elena says, and my blood boils at the thought of her trying to kill Klaus.

"Since her return she's said she only wants this family to be whole again." Elijah says.

"When she asked to see me, I thought that maybe she could...help. That she would find a way to kill Klaus. It's not just Klaus she wants to kill." Elena states, eyeing Elijah cautiously.

"She wants to kill us all doesn't she?" Elijah sighs, "She wants to undo the evil she created."

"I'm so sorry Elijah, I wish their was something I could do to help." Elena says, playing the innocent act like always. She doesn't want to help them.

"Take a few steps back Aria." Elijah mumbles under his breath so Elena can't hear him. I give him a weird look but take a few steps back anyways. "You know, one thing I've learned on my time on this earth is that, be careful what you wish for."

Elijah slams his foot down on the ground, causing it to collapse. He grabs Elena before jumping down into the hole. I look at the hole he just created my mouth hanging open.

"Holy shit." I whisper before jumping into the hole after them.

=================

"I can't find her anywhere." Stefan worries, walking into the house. He stops, looking over at his brother who is staring at Elijah and I with barely concealed malice.

"Hey Stef." I glare, wanting to rip his throat out. He failed to mention to me about Esther's plan to kill the Original family.

"They have Elena." Damon explains, not taking his eyes off Elijah and I. Elijah is sitting in the chair, while I lean against the wall behind him.

"Actually she is with Rebekah. As you can imagine, my sister is just dying to tear her throat out." Elijah smirks, "So...if you want to save Elena's life, I need you to help me stop my mother."

"I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but when it comes to killing thousand year old, resurrected witches, I'm a little rusty." Damon shrugs, making jokes as always. I used to like those jokes, now I find them annoying.

"Yes, even when killed my mother doesn't seem to want to stay dead. Not with the spirits of nature at her side." Elijah smiles, like this amuses him or something.

"So what are we supposed to do?" Stefan questions, trying to act all tough.

"The witches that released my mother, she's drawing her power form their bloodline. That line needs to be broken." Elijah explains.

"Broken?" Stefan frowns.

"Are you that stupid?" I sigh, giving Stefan a bored look. "End the line Stefan...end the witches belonging to that line."

"You want us to kill them?" Stefan confirms, looking at Elijah.

"You know I'd do it myself, or send Aria to do it, but I have absolutely no idea where they are. Besides, seeing either one of us, they would know our intent. They wouldn't expect to be harmed by the likes of you two." Elijah says, standing up. "In any case, you have until six minutes after nine to find them."

"How super specific of you." Damon deadpans.

"By 9:07 the moon will be full and my mother will have the power needed to kill me, and my family. If you do not stop her before then, Rebekah will kill Elena." Elijah warns, "So we all have our timeline, I suggest you get started."

Elijah pushed past the Salvatore boys, walking out the door. I don't follow him, and stay right where I am, just like he told me to. If there is one person I'll listen to, it's Elijah.

"I'm staying to make sure you boys stay honest. Wouldn't want either of you to try anything." I say, before they say anything about me not following Elijah out the door.

Damon rolls his eyes, "So what? You're like the Originals puppy now? They're training you and everything."

I give him a fake smile, "I trust them, I do not trust you two." I spin towards Stefan, glaring at him. "I trusted you though Stefan, I thought you were my friend. You kept Esther's plan from me."

"I had to Aria, I knew you'd tell them. They're not your enemy anymore Aria. Not after you had sex with one of them." Stefan seethes.

"Excuse you?" I demand.

"We saw you go up to Klaus' room Aria." Damon says.

I shake my head, "Don't be a hypocrite Damon. It's not like you haven't slept with any Originals lately. And by the way, I didn't have sex with Klaus. I'm not a slut, unlike you Damon, I don't just sleep around with people if someone hurts my feelings."

"Enough, we need to figure out what we're going to do." Stefan says, looking majorly pissed off.

"We all need to save Elena." I grumble.

"Yeah we do, because she's actually worth saving." Damon hisses, and I admit that actually hurts. I look at him for a moment, trying not to let my face show my emotions. That really stung. Am I truly not worth saving anymore?

"Didn't I say enough Damon?" Stefan glares. "I don't want to have to ask again. Now let's figure out what the hell we're going to do."

==============

I walk downstairs into the basement, surprised to see Stefan standing in front of the cooler, with a bag of blood in his hands. He hasn't drank human blood in a long time. I think he's trying to get clean for Elena.

I lean against the wall, just watching him. Damon joins me, casting a frown at his brother. "Come on, clock's ticking. Are you going to help me brainstorm a plan or are you to busy planning a snack?"

"We need to call Bonnie. There has to be a way for her to stop Esther from channeling all that power." I say, knowing that whenever there is a problem, Bonnie can most likely fix it.

"A, what if she is with Esther? B, what if she can't cut her off? C, I don't know how any of this stuff works. And D, neither do you." Damon glares, being a smartass as always. I guess I shouldn't say anything. That would be hypocritical of me.

"You have a better plan then Damon?" I demand, glaring right back at him.
"Worst case scenario, simple mechanics. Can't draw power from a dead battery." Damon shrugs.

"Kill them." Stefan implies, almost a look of dread on his face. Aw, he used to love killing people. Guess Elena doesn't dig him killing her best friend and her mom. "There has got to be another way."

"Well, what if I told you I had a less diabolical plan." Damon smirks, holding up a dagger. As soon as I see it, I know that they want to stab one of the Originals with it. If you stab one, you stab them all. Uh ah, not happening.

I try to speed out of the basement to warn them, but Damon is quicker and blocks my way. I glare at him, and he startles me shoving me back. I go straight into Stefan, who grabs my head, snapping my neck.

==================

I groan, cracking my eyes open. Ow, getting your neck snaps always hurts like a bitch. I stand up, grabbing the wall for support when the world starts to spin. Stupid Salvatore bothers, snapping my neck. Oh shit...they better not have daggered one of them.

Once my senses come back, I run as fast as I can out of the house. Where would they go? Ah...Klaus and Kol were at the Grill, they could go for Kol. Yeah, that sounds right.

I veer off to my right, heading straight for the Grill. I hear voices coming from the back door, and hurry over there. I stop at the top of the stairs, taking in the scene around me. Stefan is lying knocked out on the stairs, and Kol is lying in front of a fuming Klaus, all grey. Damon is standing in front of Klaus looking arrogant as ever.

"Klaus." I say, hurrying down the steps towards him. He casts a glance back at me, his eyes roaming over me to see if I'm hurt. I stalk up to Damon, ready to murder him. "You're an idiot! Plus, you're an asshole. Snapping my neck, not cool dude."

"You would have tried to stop us Aria. So we stopped you instead." Damon replies.

I laugh, looking at Klaus who is fuming, Stefan unconscious on the ground and Kol who is slowly tuning back to his normal color. "Oh yeah Damon, your plan worked so well. I'm amazed you two pulled it off."

"Leave him, both of you. We still need him." Elijah commands, suddenly appearing at the top of the steps. Did he think we were going to kill him or something? Klaus might have but I still don't think I'd let him.

"What did mother do?" Klaus demands, facing his brother. "What did she do Elijah?" Klaus repeats when Elijah stays quiet.

Elijah walks down the steps, taking out of his phone. "You tell me where the witches are right now, or I'll have Rebekah kill Elena."

Damon looks up at the big town square clock, it showing 8:30. "You told me I had until after nine."

"I'm sure Rebekah would be more than happy to start her work early." Elijah threatens, a deadly gleam in his eyes.

I look at Damon, a slight smirk on my face. What choice does he have now?

=============

I sigh, so done with hearing the boys have a heart to heart about Elena. It's getting a little boring to listen to. They can't even decide who is going to kill the witch. Neither of them want Elena to hate them.

I surprise them both by climbing into the back seat of their car. They both look back at me, probably wanting to kill me. "What are you doing Aria?" Damon sighs.

"I've been listening to your guys soap opera dialogue for the past 10 minutes. It's making my ears bleed." I complain.

"Sorry to bore you." Stefan glares.

"I'll turn Abby Bennett. As long as she is not a witch anymore, Esther can't channel her. You two need to stall Bonnie, don't let her see me kill her damn mother." I start to get out of the car, but stop looking at the boys one more time. "I get you think I'm a bitch, and I probably am. But I'm not a heartless one. I don't want Elena to hate you two...it's better if she hates me. Both of you love her...it sucks to love someone who hates you."

I get out of the car, not looking back as I walk toward the old witch house. I hear a whoosh and I'm guessing Damon and Stefan have gone into the house. Great...time to kill a witch. Bonnie and I just got to be friends again too.

I creep into the house, trying my hardest to stay silent. I look around the corner, seeing Bonnie walk down the stairs, Abby behind her. I purposely step on a creaky floorboard, getting Abby's attention.

She frowns spinning around, while Bonnie continues to walk down. Once I'm sure Bonnie is downstairs, I start getting ready. Abby turns around to follow Bonnie, and I speed behind her.

I bite into my wrist, shoving it into her mouth. I wrap my arm around her chest, making sure she can't get away. She struggles against me, the blood choking her as it goes down.

"Shhh, this won't hurt." I say, before snapping her neck. I let her go, her limp body falling to the floor. I wince, kneeling down next to her. I wipe a piece of hair out of her eyes. "I'm
