“Wanna take a spin Aria?” Stefan smirks, holding out the Twister spinner to me. I look at all the girls on the mat, bite marks everywhere, before shaking my head.

“I would rather not be your plaything.” I say, frowning at the girls who are just laughing, acting like they are at some slumber party. I fed off a few of them, but the ones I fed off of, are dead right now. I don’t play with my food.

“Suit yourself.” Stefan shrugs, spinning the spinner. “Uh oh, Alexandra, left hand please.” the girl obediently gets up, holding out her wrist to Stefan. Stefan takes it, biting into it. He takes a quick drink, before releasing her.

“The two brunettes on the staircase owe my a Persian rug.” Damon sighs, walking into the room. Yup, those are the two I killed.

“You mean they owe us a Persian rug? It’s my house too brother.” Stefan replies, “Oo, would you like a spin?” he grins, holding up the spinner.

“Is this what Klaus had in mind when he compelled you two to protect Elena?” Damon questions.

“He didn’t compel me to do anything Damon. But it’s great you care so much about her.” I give him a forced smile, trying to look like I don’t care. But I do unfortunately.

“You don’t need to be jealous of her Aria.” Damon frowns.

“You’re right, I’m not, I’m pissed. You couldn’t have me anymore, so you went to the next best thing. Dick move.” I glare.

Stefan laughs, “She got you there brother, Aria is better than Elena. She’s more fun.”

“I am.” I smirk, agreeing with Stefan.

Damon sighs about to argue with us, but someone starts to bang on the door. Damon stalks over, opening the door without even checking who it is.

“Where’s Aria and Stefan?” Rebekah questions, walking right in with a bunch of shopping bags.

“Who the hell are you?” Damon demands, not having been there last night for the action. I don’t know what he was doing but he wasn’t there for Elena…how sad.

“He left me here, my brother actually left me.” Rebekah complains, looking majorly furious.

“Oh I’m sorry, your tone implies that I’m actually supposed to care.” Stefan says.

“You’re Klaus’ sister?” Damon frowns, finally having caught on.

She looks back at him, “Rebekah, it’s a pleasure I’m sure.” she turns back around to us, “So which is one my room?”

Stefan laughs, “You’re not staying here.”

Rebekah glares at him, looking at me to argue with him. “It’s his house, I can’t overrule him.” Rebekah glares at me also, looking back at Damon who just shrugs.

“Rude.” she comments. “All of you. I guess I’ll see to it myself.” she turns away, walking down the hallway to find a room on her own.

“Well I guess she is staying here.” I say, a grin on my face. It’ll be fun living with Rebekah in the same house.

Damon gives Stefan and I a forced smile, before walking out of the room. I share a look with Stefan causing us both to smirk.

Oh how I love no humanity Stefan.

————————————————————-

“I think this is appropriate enough to wear to school.” I smirk, looking at myself in the mirror.  I’m wearing a pair of black short shorts, with a purple tank top, that if I had a Dad he would disprove of it and make me button it up. I’m also wearing a pain of high heeled boots because I can.

Stefan arches his eyebrows, “In what country?”

“Mine.” I grin, “I can compel anybody that disagrees with me at school.” I shrug.

“I have so much better things to do than go to school.” Stefan sighs.

“I know, so do I, but it’ll be fun to see the looks on everyones faces. Plus it’ll be easier to make Caroline’s life hell if I go to school. Lastly, I kind of want a high school degree.” I say, taking a quick selfie. I send it to Klaus just wanting to annoy him.

“Did you just take a selfie?” Stefan asks amused.

“Yup.” I nod, “I sent it to Klaus…I said ‘Do I look good enough to protect your precious doppleganger?”

“I think you are his precious doppleganger Aria.” Stefan grins.

I glare, throwing my hair brush at him. He catches it easily, looking amused. “Shut up Stefan.”

Stefan raises his hands in innocence, “Just telling the truth.”

I sigh, shaking my head before speeding over to his table and grabbing the letter opener. I fire it at him hoping to hit him, but he catches it once again. He fires it back at me, and I step to the side, dodging it.

“Klaus would be proud. I know he’s been teaching you how to fight and be a better vampire.” Stefan teases.

“Better than you.” I smirk.

Stefan rolls his eyes, “Not possible.”

“Ah, yeah it is, because I am.” I say in a ‘duh’ tone.

Stefan smiles slightly, looking down at his phone at the time. “We should get going. Can’t be late the first day.”

“We have to be fashionably late Stef, makes us look more dramatic and badass.” I say.

“We already are Aria, lets go now.” he commands.

“Fine.” I sigh, grabbing my bag.

Mystic Falls High School better watch out, because I’m back and ready to cause a shit storm of problems.

————————————————————

“My intel says that Elena is in the bathroom, the men’s one, so we should head over there.” I tell Stefan as we walk down the hallway.

“Your intel? You mean you can hear her, so can I Aria.” Stefan sighs as we arrive at the bathroom right when Elena walks out. She doesn’t see us, so she runs right into Stefan. Is like deja vu from the first day last year….?

“Hello Elena.” Stefan greets, while she stares at him fearfully.

“What are you two doing here?” she questions, looking scared by both of us. Well she’ll certainly be scared of me if she keep putting the moves on Damon.

“What do you mean? We’re going back to school, go Timberwolves!” I grin.

“What? Why?” Elena glares, not wanting us here. How rude of her.

“Klaus wants us to keep an eye on you. We’re just doing what we are told.” I shrug.

“I’m going to be late for class.” Elena mutters trying to walk past us.

Stefan grabs her arm stopping her, “Class is this way.” Stefan points in the opposite direction.

“Let go of me Stefan.” Elena commands.

“Elena, do you think I want to be a senior for the hundredth time? No. But if I don’t have a choice in the matter, neither do you.” Stefan smirks, being all threatening and shit.

“I said let go of me.” Elena repeats, trying to pull away from.

“Let her go.” Ric glares, coming up behind us. Stefan takes a step back, holding up his hands in innocence. He shoots a look at me, silently telling me what to do. Alright then…

I shove Ric into the lockers, holding him in place. I bet this looks funny to everyone walking in the hallway. A little, teenage girl, holding a grown man against a row of lockers.

“Aria, stop it.” Elena yells quietly, not liking the attention we’re attracting.

I pat Ric’s chest, an innocent smile on my face. “You’re not going to want to get in Stefan and I’s way. Understand?” Ric nods, causing me to let him go.

I loop my arm through Stefan’s, shooting a smug look at Elena. “We’ll see you two in history.”

Stefan and I turn around, walking away from the pair. I bite my lip to keep the giant grin off of my face.

This is so much fun.

——————————————————-

I walk into history, feeling slightly lonely since Stefan went to go get a snack or something like that. All I know is he went to go eat somebody.

I glare at the kid sitting in my seat, “You’re in my seat.” He puts his head down, stumbling up and practically running to a new seat. I smirk at Elena who is sitting right next to me. “Hey Lena.”

“Where’s Stefan? Aren’t you two a package deal?” she glares.

“Be careful, you sound jealous.” I grin.

“Like you are of Damon and her.” Caroline smirks, sitting in the desk on Elena’s other side.

I give her a tight smile, “You better watch yourself Caroline. Rebekah stopped me from killing you last time, so you got a second chance at your undead life. Don’t make me take it.”

“What’s wrong with you Aria?” Elena seethes, “Klaus didn’t compel your humanity away…how can you be like this?!”

“You should be happy I’m like this Elena, because if Klaus did compel my humanity away, that would not be very good.” I say, a smirk on my face.

“This is like a soap opera.” Stefan comments, taking a seat in front of me. I roll my eyes, giving him a screw you look after.

“Welcome back seniors.” Ric greets, from the front of the room. “Lets turn are brains back on starting with this country’s original founders, the Native Americans.”

“What about the Vikings?” Rebekah asks, standing at the doorframe. I shake my head, a smile on my face. She just couldn’t help herself could she?

“Well there’s no evidence Viking explorers actually settled in the United States…” Ric frowns, as Rebekah takes a seat at one of the front desks. “Who are you?”

“My name is Rebekah. I’m new and history is my favorite subject.” she grins, causing Ric to give Elena a weird look I can’t quite read.

Elena shakes her head, an annoyed look in her eyes. Things just keep getting worse for my poor sister.

————————————————————

I take a sip of the beer, before throwing the plastic red cup to the floor. This beer is so cheap and shitty, I can’t even drink it. I look around the bonfire, smiling slightly at the memories this brings back. It’s kind of sad in a way.

“I’m surprised to see you without my brother.” Damon says, walking over to me.

“Yeah, I wanted to be alone.” I admit, giving him a pointed look.

“Sorry to disrupt your alone time.” Damon smirks all sexy like.

“Sure you are.” I sigh.

“What’s with you? I know you, and you always have fun at parities. You’re normally the life of one.” Damon smiles.

“I’m just thinking Damon, is that a crime?” I glare.

“I’m worried about you Ari.” he states, taking a step closer to me.

“Why? Why do you even care anymore Damon? I’m a bitch, if you haven’t realized.”

“I will always care about you.” he whispers, stroking my cheek gently.

I slap his hand away, taking a step back. “Don’t start this Damon, I’ve already moved on.”

“Really? Is that why you get jealous every time you see Elena and I together? Why you’ve been flirting with my brother to make me jealous?” Damon demands, causing me to look down at the floor. He grabs my chin, gently making me look at him. “I know you haven’t moved on because it’s impossible. I tried…and failed.”

I look at him for a second, letting myself get lost in those blue eyes like I always did. He leans down, his lips touching mine, and it feels so good. I start to deepen the kiss but suddenly I feel a prick in my neck.

I gasp and stumble a steps away from Damon, touching my neck. My eyes start to get heavy and it feels like my whole body is shutting down. “Vervain.” I realize, falling to my knees.

“I’m sorry Aria, but you have to be stopped. This isn’t you.” he insists, catching me as I fall into his arms. I try to speak but I can’t push out any words. I let my eyes close and everything goes dark.

—————————————————————

I groan sitting up, and rubbing my temples. It feels like I just went through the worst hangover of my life. Stupid vervain, it stings like hell and is a freaking tranquilizer. And Damon used it on me…like I was an animal or something.

“Finally, was that your first vervain attack?” Stefan smirks, amused by his choice of words.

“Yeah, I’ve never had anyone inject me with it.” I sigh, “It hurts.”

“It does, it’ll get less hurtful as you start getting older. But it will always hurt like hell.” Stefan explains.

“So what happened after Damon vervained me?” I ask.

“I don’t know exactly, Elena got me also. All I know is that I woke up in a burning car with you and Elena. Thankfully we all got out safely due to Ric and I. You and Elena were useless though. You were unconscious and Elena was suffering from the smoke.” Stefan states, causing me to roll my eyes.

“I can’t believe they did that…that Damon did that.” I whisper.

Stefan shrugs, “They think we’re evil.”

I shake my head, “Damon betrayed me. That kind of makes me want to be evil.”

“Then be evil Aria, turn it off. You know you want to.” Stefan smirks.

I stand up, heading towards the door. “No Stefan I don’t. Feeling this sense of betrayal lightens the fire inside of me. I want to make Elena and Damon pay for what they have going on between them. I want them to feel how I feel right now. I need my humanity to do that.”

I walk out of Stefan’s room heading upstairs towards Damon’s room. I stop when I see Elena exiting from it, a few small burns on her face. She deserves worse than that.

“Aria, can’t you understand why Damon and I did that? You’re not yourself.” Elena tries to explain herself, pissing me off more.

“Just hearing ‘Damon and I’ come out of your mouth makes me want to rip your throat out.” I growl, “And no, I can’t understand why Damon vervained me then threw my unconscious body in a burning car. How would you have felt if Stefan and I died, or was that your plan?”

“No, of course not!” Elena argues, “I was locked in that car too, we didn’t plan the fire.”

“If only you would have died in that car.” I glare, causing shock to flash across her face. “Why are you surprised Elena?  You’re a selfish bitch, so I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings.”

I shove past her, hitting her shoulder hard enough for her to stumble into the wall. I smirk slightly, hoping that hurt her a little.

“She didn’t deserve what you said Aria.” Damon sighs, as I walk into his room.

“You know, when we first met and everyone told me you were a monster, I told them to screw off. I loved you for who you were, I never wanted to change you. I accepted you were a vampire…I accepted you. Why can’t you do the same thing for me?” I question, unwanted tears shining in my eyes.

“You’re being reckless Aria, and it’s going to get people killed.” Damon says, but I don’t even know if he means what he is saying. It might just be something Elena told him to say if I asked.

“Are you saying this because Elena told you to?” I glare.

“No, I’m not. You and Stefan are being reckless.” Damon repeats, anger rising in his voice.

I laugh slightly, a disbelieved one. “But I know what you’re thinking. Stefan has no humanity and is a ripper, so he has an excuse. Aria, she doesn’t have one. She’s just a monster.”

“That’s not what I’m thinking Aria.” Damon denies.

I shove him with all my force, causing him to fly back into the wall.  “How could you betray me like that Damon?! How could you choose Elena?! I gave up everything to save you. I gave up who I was…and you-you betray me like this! I guess I loved you a lot more than you ever loved me.”

“I didn’t choose Elena, Aria!  We both just want to help you. Of course I love you Aria, you know that.” Damon says, slowly getting up.

“No…I don’t.” I close my eyes, feeling a few tears stream down my face. I spin around, heading out. Before I leave, I look at Damon one more time, a fierce look in my eyes. “Oh and Damon?” he looks up, looking at me with those blue eyes. “Go fuck yourself.”

I saunter away, a smirk on my face. I needed that and he deserved it. If Elena and Damon think I was a monster before, they should brace themselves for the one they are about to get.
