I pull my hair back, putting it in a messy ponytail. I don't have the energy to try and do it nicely. I was out all last night with Caroline, learning to harness my new vampire abilities. At least I can snatch, eat, and erase now, instead of wanting to drain them dry. Thankfully Bonnie made me a ring, so I'm not trapped inside all day, hiding from the sun. That would suck so bad.

I feel a presence behind me and spin around, frowning when I see Damon standing in my room. I haven't heard from him since the funeral, he hasn't helped me at all. He has just ignored me, even through he promised to help me.

"Finally decided to talk to me?" I demand, raising my eyebrows.

"I'm sorry Aria, I know I promised you that I would be here for you." Damon apologizes, very lamely I might add.

"Sorry isn't really good enough Damon. I forgave you for feeding me your blood. But I am a vampire because of you, I thought you'd at least have the decency to teach me how to be one. You promised me you would be here for me, well, you haven't been." I glare, shaking my head.

"I'm sorry." he whispers, looking down at the ground.

"And I'm sorry too. I'm sorry that I can't just let this one go. I-I need time to forgive you Damon. This has been hard for me, and it would have been easier with you here for me. I wouldn't be so mad if you didn't promise to help." I admit, not able to bring myself to just forgive him this time.

"I understand." Damon nods, he leans down kissing my forehead lightly. "I love you Aria, please remember that."

I frown, "Is something wrong Damon?"

"No, nothing is wrong." he hesitates, before he gives me a sad smile "Goodbye Aria.", I'm about to respond but he's already gone. I look around my room, confused. What is wrong with him? He was talking like he is going to die or something.

Something is wrong, I know it.

I pick up my phone, dialing Stefan. He answers immeaditly, "Hey."

"What's wrong with Damon? He's acting weird."

"He didn't want me to tell you Aria." Stefan sighs, sounding conflicted.

"Well now you have to because I am forcing you. I'm a vampire now Stefan, which means I can threaten your well being." I growl, not having the patience to argue with him.

"Fine, when he was saving Tyler and Caroline the other night before the sacrifice in the woods...Tyler was in transition...he bit Damon." Stefan states. Oh God, no. Werewolf bites kill vampires...

I drop the phone, bringing my hand up to my mouth in horror. Damon is dying...No...no, no. He was over here, asking for my forgiveness and I basically told him to screw off. I wouldn't forgive him...how could I do that? I'm a terrible person....

I will save him though, Stefan and I will find a way. I know they say there is no cure but there has to be one. Elena and I wasn't suppose to survive the sacrifice but we both did, against all odds.

Damon is going to be fine. He has to be.

-----------------------

"Why am I meeting you out in the middle of the woods, at a creepy house?" I ask, frowning at the shit-shack in front of me. It's seriously scary, and there's something about it that puts me off.

"Bonnie is upstairs, she's going to try and contact her witch ancestors. Hopefully they know of a cure." Stefan responds, "She said here was the best place to do it." Stefan has the same look I do about this house.

"Okay then..." I sigh, trying to put on a brave face.

"But be careful in there, apparently this house doesn't like vampires very much." Stefan warns, cautiously pushing the door to the house open.

"Even better..." I mumble, shivering slightly when I see the inside. The inside looks just as scary as the outside.

"You can use your vampire speed right?" Stefan asks, casting a sideways look at me.

I nod, "Care taught me."

Stefan holds out his hand, "Let's run then." I take his hand, closing my eyes and just running. Stefan leads me there and as soon as he stops, I stop too. It's weird vampire running. I'm not even trying to go fast, but apparently I am going pretty damn fast.

I open my eyes, looking at Bonnie and the candles that surround her. "Hey Bonnie." I smile, trying to be nicer. She gave me a daylight ring and saved my sister, she deserves it.

"Hey...are you adjusting okay?" she asks, trying to be nicer also. At least we're on the right track.

"Yeah, I am actually. This life kind of suits me." I laugh nervously, giving her a small shrug.

"I figured that." Bonnie smiles, the candles around her suddenly lighting. I jump back, thinking it's some weird witch ghost. "Relax Aria, it was just me." Bonnie looks around, sighing. "I don't know if this will work guys." she admits.

"You've done a seance before, you contacted Emily Bennant. Maybe one of the witches will know how to help Damon." Stefan hopes, willing to try anything for his brother.

"Lets just hope they want to." Bonnie responds, standing up off the floor. Bonnie closes her eyes, murmuring some latin words. All the candles around us, flare up more causing me to jump closer to Stefan. Stefan looks at me and I give him an innocent smile. He smiles back at me, trying to reassure me.

Bonnie stops mumbling, going quiet. "Bonnie." Stefan whispers, but she doesn't respond. "Bonnie." he repeats, causing her eyes to snap open.

"Emily." Bonnie says quickly before something in her eyes change, "Why have you come here Stefan?" Emily asks, completely changing Bonnie's voice.

"I need your help, we need to know if there is a spell that can heal a werewolf bite." Stefan tells her.

"No." she replies, "Nature insures a balance to everything."

"Is that true?" I question, having a feeling that she is lying to us. I may not know her but I know witches hate helping vampires.

"Are you just saying no because it's Damon?" Stefan grounds out, trying to keep the anger out of his voice.

"Perhaps it is his time to die." she says emotionless.

"No, that's not balance. That's punishment." Stefan glares, sticking up for his brother. I'm starting to like Stefan a whole lot more right now.

"I will not give you what you want."

"So your saying that there is an answer to give?" I ask, hope seeping into my tone. Maybe there is a way to save Damon. "Please, if you know something, tell us." I plead.

Emily stares at me for a moment, before Bonnie screams, clutching her head. I put my hand on her shoulder, not understanding what is going on. "Bonnie?"

"They don't want us here, they think I am abusing there power." Bonnie groans, still clutching her head.

"They know something, there is an answer. They just don't want to tell us." Stefan insists.

Bonnie closes her eyes for a moment before looking back up at us. "I heard them say a name."

"What was it?" Stefan questions.

"Klaus."

--------------------

Stefan and I walk into Alaric's apartment, looking around for Katherine. We know she is here. She's still stuck here because of Klaus' compulsion. She can't leave the room unless he says she can.

"Hello Katherine." I grin, when I see her sitting on his bed, bouncing with impatience.

"Two days I've been waiting." she glares, "I'm supposed to be free from Klaus' compulsion by now, he's suppose to be dead!" Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you guys the bad news. Elijah took Klaus before we could kill him. Elijah couldn't kill his brother of course. So Klaus is a big bad hybrid now. Yay.

"We ran into some complications." Stefan sighs.

"Complications?" Katherine demands.

"It doesn't really matter right now, I just need to find him. Do you have any idea where he might be?" Stefan questions, right as Katherine frowns. Katherine grabs Stefan and I, speeding us around the corner out of sight. If I was a human that would have hurt.

Stefan starts to ask her what the hell is she doing, but she holds a finger up to her lips, "Klaus, you're back." she states as I hear the door open, "Look who decided to stop by for a visit." Katherine pushes me and Stefan out into the open. Elijah who is standing behind Klaus, frowns worried shooting a quick look at me.

Klaus' eyes focus on me and instantly harden. Within the blink of an eye, he has me pushed against the wall, his hand around my throat. "You are suppose to be dead."

I push him away with my vampire strength, startling him. "I am dead, no thanks to you I might add." I glare.

"Your sister? Did she escape death too?" he demands.

"No, she's dead, permanently. Just like my Aunt. Again, thanks for that." I seethe, lying partially. He can't know Elena is alive. Because if he finds out, she won't be for very long.

Klaus smirks, "Sorry about that love."

"Like I said before, you're not sorry about it. You could care less." I growl.

"Now what are you two lads here for? I highly doubt it's for my company." Klaus grins, his insane, psychotic one. Wait, that's his normal one.

"We need your help." Stefan says, looking like it physically pains him to say that. "For my brother."

"Well, whatever it is, it's going to have to wait a tic. You see, I have an obligation to my brother. It requires my immediate attention." Klaus shrugs, walking forward.

"You understand how important family is or you wouldn't be here. My brother gave me his word he would reunite me with my own." Elijah explains, trying to make up for not killing Klaus. That doesn't really do it though Elijah.

"And so I shall." Klaus smirks from behind him, causing him to turn around. The second Elijah turns around, Klaus stabs a dagger into his heart.

"Elijah!" I scream, trying to run over to him but Stefan stops me. I wince as Elijah cries out in pain, slowly turning grey. How could Klaus do that to his own brother?!

Klaus speeds over grabbing Stefan, and pushing him against the wall like he did to me. "Now, what am I going to do about you two?" he looks back at me, an unknown look in his eyes. Klaus pulls out a stake, stabbing it into Stefan's chest. That asshole.

I try to run over to them, but this time it's Katherine who holds me back. Seriously? I glare at her but she just shakes her head. I try getting out of her hold but she has a few hundred years on me.

"Do you feel that?" Klaus whispers to Stefan as he groans in pain. "It's scarping against your heart, the slightest little movement and you're dead."

"He's just trying to help his brother you bastard!" I cry, hating Klaus more than words can tell. He is truly a monster. "The witches said you had a cure for a werewolf bite. We're here to make a deal. You give us there cure and...we both will do anything you want."

Klaus tilts his head, thinking for a moment. He pulls the stake out, causing Stefan to fall to the ground. I go over to him, putting my hand on his back. I can't heal him... so that's the best I can do, try and comfort him.

"The trouble is I don't know if you're any good to me, the way you are now. Both of you." Klaus sighs, pouring blood out of a blood-bag into a glass. I have to turn away, not having good enough control yet. "You're just shy of useless. Well, Stefan at least." he smirks, taking a sip of the blood.

"That's not very nice." I scold, standing up. Klaus turns around, a surprised look on his face. What is he so surprised about? I walk over to him, grabbing the glass out of his hands. I drink the blood in the glass, finishing it off. "Thanks for the drink." I wink at him before walking back over to Stefan. Katherine gives me an impressed look, a small smirk on her face.

Klaus walks over to us, leaning down next to Stefan. "I heard about this one vampire, crazy lad, always off and on the wagon. For decades. When he was off, he was...magnificent." Klaus grins, obviously talking about when Stefan was a ripper dude. "In 1917 he went into Monetary and wiped out an entire migrant village. A true ripper." Oh yeah, that's just magnificent Klaus... "Sound familiar?"

Stefan looks up at him, "I haven't been that way in a very long time."

"Well that's the vampire I can make a deal with. That is the kind of talent I could use when I leave this town." Klaus looks over at me, "I can teach you love, don't worry. Now, Katerina, come here." he commands, holding out his hand. Katherine walks over to him stiffly, giving him her hand. He bites into her wrist causing her to cry out.

"No, no, no." Katherine freaks, looking at the nasty...werewolf bite. Klaus is half werewolf so the same rules apply I guess.

Klaus bites into his own wrist, forcing his blood down her throat. Katherine struggles, trying to get away from him. As soon as he pulls his wrist away, the bite on Katherine's arm starts to heal. His blood is the cure...

"You two want you cure, there it is." he wipes the blood of his face, giving us his best smirk.

"Your blood is the cure." Stefan says, his voice strained. Of course it has to be Klaus' blood. We never have any luck do we?

"Got to love Mother Nature." Klaus responds, arrogance seeping off him. "Now lets talk, you and I." Klaus winks at me, before leading Stefan away from me. I scoff, rolling my eyes at his behavior. Guess I kind of did start it, didn't I?

Klaus walks over to the table, grabbing an empty glass bottle off of it. He takes a kitchen knife, slicing it across his palm. He squeezes his hand, letting the blood drip into the bottle.

"You want to save your brother, how about a decade long bender?" Klaus questions, "You know I have big plans for you two when we leave this town." Klaus states. I guess we have to leave town with him as part of our deal. Wonderful.

"I'm not like that anymore." Stefan grounds out, his teeth clenched.

"Well that's too bad, you would have made a hell of a wingman." Klaus tips the bottle over the sink, pouring out his blood slowly.

"Wait."

Klaus stops pouring the blood, a smirk coming over his face. "Now that's more like that. I want you both to join me...for a drink." Klaus slides Stefan a whole blood bag, while he just slides me a cup of blood. Excuse you, I can drink a whole bag. I kind of want a whole bag...

We all raise our drinks, each of us taking a small sip. I don't even know if Stefan took a drink. "Finish it, all of it." Klaus demands, looking at Stefan. When Stefan makes no moves to drink it, Klaus sets down his drink. "You two do everything I say and I save your brother and boyfriend. That's the deal."

Stefan raises the blood-bag, putting it to his mouth. He finishes it in like a second. Damn, he really doesn't have control. I sigh, finishing off my drink. I can tell how this is going to go.

Klaus slides another blood-bag at Stefan, expecting him to demolish it again. Which he will. "Again." Klaus commands. Stefan rips the seal off, before drinking it.

God, this is going to be a long night...

---------------------

"I can't keep watching this." I whisper as Stefan drains his like 20th bag. Blood-bags are all over the ground and there are little splotches of blood everywhere. Not to mention it's all over Stefan's face. He needs like a bib or something.

"You should see when it's people he's draining..." Katherine mutters, frowning at the scene in front of her. Oh...that's a wonderful thought...

"You're very cooperative, it's almost like you're enjoying it." Klaus grins, throwing another bag next to Stefan.

Stefan shakes his head, "No more, not until you give me the cure."

"Not until we all make a deal, it's your choice Stefan, Arianna. You can both stay here, living your life in Mystic Falls...or, you both can embrace what you truly are. Leave town with me and save Damon." Klaus states, holding out the blood-bag to Stefan. Stefan snatches it out of his hand, ripping it open and drinking what's inside. I guess I am leaving town with Klaus and Stefan...

Klaus grabs the cure, our deal having been made. "Please Klaus, let me take it to him. I need to say goodbye. You can compel me or whatever you want to do to make sure I come back. But please, let me take it to him." I beg.

Klaus stares at me for a moment, before handing the cure to me. "I don't need to compel you Arianna, I know you will come back."

"Oh and Katherine comes with me." I say, not really thinking it through. Katherine and Klaus both look at me surprised. "If you let her go now, she'll be miserable. She will still have to run from you for the rest of her pathetic life. I think that is a fair punishment. Don't you?"

Klaus looks over at Katherine, "You are free to leave with Arianna."

The second he says that, Katherine and I both speed out the door. Katherine grabs my arm once we are outside the building, stopping me. "Why did you do that for me?"

"You're technically my family, and I don't have much anymore so...I don't know, I felt bad for you." I sigh, not knowing if that is the truth or not. "Now have a terrible life Kathy, I've got to get going. I have a boyfriend to save."

I speed away, running as fast as I can to the Salvatore house and up to Damon's room. I make it there in like two minutes, vampire speed is pretty damn awesome.

Elena is sitting next to Damon's bed, looking mildly worried. She jumps up, surprised, when she sees me. "Where have you been all day? Where's Stefan?" she questions.

"We were getting this." I respond, walking over to Damon and pouring the blood into his mouth. God, he looks terrible. Good thing I got to him when I did. I don't know how much longer he would have made it.

"Ari." he smiles, opening his eyes.

"Hey." I smile, my voice catching. I lean down, placing a soft kiss on his lips. "I love you, remember that, okay?" I repeat the same thing that he said to me earlier.

"What did you do to get this?" he asks worried, some color starting to return to his face.

"Stefan and I made a deal...with Klaus. We, gave ourselves up to him. I'm sorry Damon, but we had to. Hopefully I'll see you two again...someday. Be safe." I smile sadly, before disappearing out of the room. As soon as I am a far enough distance away, I stop clutching my chest as sobs rake my body. I fall to my knees, trying to stop my sobs.

I saved Damon, but I may never see him again. How unfair and stupid is that?

Now I'm stuck with a murderous monster, and an insane ripper. How the hell am I suppose to survive?

---------------------

I want to bash Klaus' brains in, seeing Elijah dead in that coffin. How can he do that to his own family members. Apparently he daggered his whole freaking family. How evil do you have to be to do that?

"Did you make it in time Arianna love?" Klaus asks, turing around to face me.

"First of all, it's Aria. Enough with this whole name shit. Secondly, it's none of your business if I did. Not like you care or anything." I glare, taking a step towards him.

"You're right, I don't care." he smirks.

"What is it that you want exactly from Stefan and I?" I demand, sick of his lying and beating around the bush.

"All will be explained in time love. As soon as we leave this tragic little town." Klaus answers, placing a hand on my shoulder. I push it off immeaditly, hating that he is touching me.

"Are we done here yet? Can we go?" Stefan sighs, looking bored. Sorry to bore you Stefan...

"Not yet, you see, I have a gift for you two." Klaus smiles, turing his back to us. "Come here sweethearts, don't be afraid." he gestures out two girls who were hiding behind the creates. They both come
