~3rd POV~

It's been a few days since the assassination of the Lieutenant. News of the assassination has brought a huge concern to many people but mostly to the White Fang, the council of the Kingdoms, Ironwood, and Ozpin.

Location: Beacon Academy

Ozpin had heard reports of an assassination of a White Fang Lieutenant and needless to say, it brought the attention of himself and General Ironwood. Ozpin didn't know if the assassin was part of an unknown faction and just another bounty hunter.

"This Lisa Lavender, reporting in on VVN Live. An assassination attempt of a high ranking White Fang member or as the White Fang Terrorists call him, "Lieutenant", and it had been reported that only the Lieutenant has been assassinated. When the police arrived at the docks, all of the White Fang there all surrendered out of fear of getting, and I quote from the reason why they all surrendered, "Getting there heads blown off." Here's a footage of interrogation with one of the White Fang Terrorists now." She said Lisa Lavender as the screen shows the footage of an interrogation room.

"What happened?"

"We were planning on a dust heist. The Lieutenant was briefing me and rest of us on the mission and suddenly, the Lieutenant's head was blown off by a bullet that pierced right through his aura like a stack of fucking butter!" The White Fang said with fear as he fearfully remembered what happened at the docks.

"A bullet that pierces aura, eh?" Interrogator said with skepticism.

"Yes! I saw it with my own fucking eyes! This bullet isn't just an ordinary dust bullet! It's something else entirely!" The White Fang exclaimed in pure fear as he was shaking and becoming a bit more crazy with fear.

"Sir. Calm down." Said one of the police officers.

"Don't tell to calm down!! That bastard is going to blow my fucking head off!" The White Fang Terrorist screamed in fear as he was trying to get out.

"Restrain him!" Said the interrogator as the WF member tried to escape the interrogation room, only to be forced on the ground while being restrained.

"Let me go!! I don't wanna fucking die!!" White Fang Terrorist screamed with pure fear as he was crazy with fear.

The screen then switches to Lisa Lavender as she said "It would seem that the White Fang Terrorist has claimed that the bullet used to assassinate the Lieutenant can pierce through the aura. Many people, however, claim that aura piercing bullets are the work of Atlas. To the surprise of many, the higher-ups from Atlas have denied this which caused many to be confused since Atlas is known for it's best military and advanced technology. This has sparked the interest and concern of the council. It would seem that a new group has entered the fray. Stay tuned for further development." The news as the headmaster of Beacon sighs

Knowing it's probably unknown group, Ozpin grew concerned over the unknown group's possession of aura piercing weapons. He decided to send Qrow to investigate this unknown group. Also, there was this one report of a village being attacked by the White Fang. Ozpin sent a team of Huntsmen and Huntresses to defend the village.

When the team got back, they told Ozpin that the village was empty as they were only a lot of dead White Fang members. They then showed him pictures of what's left of the village and what's left of the White Fang forces there. To Ozpin and the team that went to the village, it was a horrifying sight.

Blood everywhere, some headless corpses which also made the team of hunters become sick, burnt bodies, some huge holes on dead WF corpses, and corpses of dead blindfolded WF members against a wall that appeared to be executed.

After Ozpin dismissed them from his office, he was worried that the unknown group could potentially become hostile.

Glynda, who was Ozpin's assistant, walked in and said "Is everything already?"

"Yes, although I am worried about current events that have happened."

"I see that you're worried about that unknown group," Glynda said as she looked at him.

"Yes. Question is if that unknown group has aura piercing bullets, who and where are they..." Ozpin said as he was looking out the window while thinking.

"If Atlas finds them..." Glynda trails off while looking at him.

"They will do anything to get their hands on their weapons for their military. If that happens, it will eventually end up in the wrong hands and cause chaos through Remnant." Ozpin said as he was looking outside.

After a few moments of silence, Ozpin said "Did you find any traces of Mr. Arc?"

"No, sir. I am afraid not." Glynda sadly said while sighing.

"Oh...okay then. You are dismissed." He said as he sighs a bit.

Glynda nodded as she left his office.

Ozpin sat on his chair in his office as he was thinking of the past events that had happened last month since Jaune's disappearance. The former Team JNPR was reorganized as a support team PNR (Pioneer) as Pyrrha Nikos has been chosen as Team Leader.

The bond that both Team RWBY and PNR once had was not the same as it used to be since the disappearance of Jaune Arc. They did have a bond but it was not as significant as it once was when Jaune was still around as it did a huge number on them.

Ozpin knew about Jaune's transcripts since day one but allowed him to enter because he saw huge potential in him. The other professors had also seen Jaune's potential to become a huntsman as Ozpin did. Jaune Arc to him and the other professors reminded them of how a huntsman will do what he can to protect the weak as Jaune had also proven his leadership skills to them.

Ozpin's plan was to have Pyrrha Nikos train Jaune since he and the professors concluded that the bond between Jaune and his friends would seemingly never break as Jaune's bond with his friends would help him in his training to become a true huntsman. To their dismay, they were all wrong...

After hearing the report of Jaune saving Cardin Winchester from an Ursa, he thought things would get better....but he was wrong. Cardin claims that he was the one that killed the Ursa as he also revealed how Jaune forged his transcripts to get into Beacon.

Ozpin and all of the professors were disgusted at what Cardin just did. How could he? How could Cardin destroy the reputation of someone who just saved him from certain death? It wasn't surprising that all of the Academy started tormenting Jaune but what shocked Ozpin and the professors were Jaune's own friends joining in on the torment.

~Flashback~

Ozpin waits for Jaune to walk in and tell him as was he was also worried about Jaune and how he will take it.

Jaune walked in as he looked worried, sad, broken, and depressed as he also had bags under his eyes as he never slept "You wanted to see me, headmaster?" He asked

"Yes. Please sit down. I think this will take longer." Ozpin said.

"I don't care anymore. I just don't fucking care. Just tell me." Jaune said without any emotion.

"Well...you see.." Ozpin didn't want to tell him at first but eventually told him "Your father has disowned you." Ozpin said as he fears how will Jaune react to this.

To his surprise, Jaune didn't react as he just looked down and said "I see...thank you for informing me. I'll take my leave now." as he then leaves for the elevator as Ozpin stands up and called out to Jaune

"I know you felt as if everyone has abandoned you but me and the staff of Beacon still support no matter what." Ozpin said

He was silent for a second until he said"Thank you. Thank you for everything. Goodbye." as he went into the elevator and left.

~Flashback Ends~

That night, Ozpin and all the Beacon staff agreed to help Jaune become a better huntsman no matter what.

Things got worse the next day, when Cardin was found at the bathroom as he face was smashed against the mirror as he had a broken bloody nose as his manhood and balls were crushed beyond repair even though it was amusing to a few teacher while Cardin was lucky he wasn't blind when he was smashed against the mirror.

When Cardin claimed that Jaune attacked him as he tried to sue and press charges against him but couldn't since Jaune wasn't there, his weapon was nowhere to be seen, there were no slash wounds on Cardin, and not to mention that Mr. Winchester had come to see his son. Ozpin told Mr. Winchester everything that Cardin has done like bullying and doing something to ruin Jaune's reputation.

Mr. Winchester was enraged and disgusted by what his son has done and he had demanded to show the footage of Jaune saving Cardin to the whole school. When the whole school watched it, every student realized that they all fucked up as they all regretted all the things they did and said to Jaune. In the aftermath of that, Cardin and his team have received a lot of hate and would receive the same torment that Jaune had from every student in Beacon.

Teams RWBY and PNR regretted leaving their friend and tormenting him. After that, they become more distant and isolated.

Ozpin set up a search team to find Jaune as the search team only consisted of the Teachers and Team CFVY. Velvet explain to Ozpin that she cared for him more when he still being tormented and said that her team at first, hated Jaune, but realized that Jaune had protected Velvet from Cardin when they weren't around as Velvet's team were the first to actually regret and stop hating Jaune.

When Team RWBY and PNR asked to help find Jaune but Ozpin declined since he thought they would make things worse.

Eventually, Jaune's family had arrived as his father regretted everything that he did to Jaune as he had also received a lot of beatings by his wife while Jaune's 7 sisters joined the search team to find their only brother.

They had a sense of hope when Qrow said that he had found a lead but that hope was crushed when he showed them all his bloody sword and armor.  It was a horrifying sight but Jaune's 7 sisters were still determined to find him which inspired the search for Jaune to be continued.

~3rd POV~
Location: Atlas

Ironwood and all the other Atlas scientists were discussing what had happened at the docks in Vale

"A projectile that pierces aura...I find that shit hard to believe." Said an Atlas scientist

"Well....he did say that he noticed that the White Fang's Lieutenant's aura was useless against this projectile. However they are, they have some advanced technology." Said another scientist.

"I know, if we can find them then we can negotiate them the information needed to make the weapons and projectiles. Think of how we can end the White Fang, Grimm, and other future conflicts with just these types of weapons." Ironwood said while looking at the window.

"Agreed. Let's get back to work, we may be closer to finding them." One of the scientists said as they all went back to worry.

Ironwood was looking at the window while thinking of aura piercing bullets being used by Atlas to end its enemies.
