"Wake up for me, little baby." Apollo whispered softly, squatting next to the open passenger door to look at his sleeping girl. "Sweetheart, open those pretty eyes for Daddy." He cooed, brushing away her hair from her face and unbuckling her seatbelt.

She was a little more tired that day, Apollo realised, so he decided to postpone their walk to another day; if his girl needed more rest then he would be there beside her, soothing her into a calming sleep after a filling dinner.

"Polo..." She mumbled ever so quietly, still half-asleep.

"That's right baby, I'm right here." She tiredly held her hand out and he intertwined their hands, pressing soft kisses against her knuckles.

"Sleepy, Daddy." She murmured, her eyes barely open as she removed her hand from his, only to hold her arms out for a warm hug.

"Oh baby, I know, I know." He rubbed her back softly as she buried her face into his neck. "We just need to clear out your apartment, that's all. Daddy will email your landlord later okay?" He felt so in love with his tired baby, and also protective because of how worn out she was.

Unsurprisingly, he could feel soft nibbles against his neck as he lift her out of the car and balanced her on his hip.

"Good girl, it's okay, let Daddy carry you up okay?" The hand patting her behind developed it's own rhythm as he shut the door and locked his car. "Just rest, my love."

He wondered whether it was their frisky actions earlier in the bedroom that had tired her out, or whether it was something else. Being the smart girl he knew she was, she had told him her apartment number earlier whilst giving him the address to type into the GPS.

So he carefully carried her up, reaching into her hoodie pocket where her key was. Silently, he opened and closed the door, immediately noticing how cold it was; it was almost no different from standing outside. His brows furrowed at the sight of the apartment and he held her a little tighter.

A small sneeze broke his train of thoughts, followed by two more.

"Bless you, sweetheart." With deepening worry, he placed her on the small bed and knelt down in front of her. "I know, Daddy's sorry baby, he just needs to make sure you're okay." He spoke fondly as he pressed the back of his hand against her forehead. "Oh baby." He muttered lovingly, letting her fall back against his chest.

The unusual amount of heat radiating off of her only fed his suspicions that she was sick. It would also explain why she was so tired. His little baby was falling ill and it was most likely to be a cold because of the weather.

She was already wearing one of his hoodies but he needed to layer her shivering body up. Without thinking, he tugged off both his hoodie and shirt, ignoring the cold that nipped at his skin.

"Up, just like that baby, there you go." He pulled of her own hoodie to pull the shirt he just took off, onto her. It wasn't unknown to him that she didn't wear a shirt under her hoodie for comfort purposes but she needed to be layered up for him.

Apollo then pulled the hoodie back over her, letting her lay down as she sneezed a few more times, covering her with the other hoodie as the sheets would probably be too dusty to place over her.

"Right..." He spoke under his breath, standing up to find any of her belongings to keep and take back home. He remembered her saying they wouldn't need any boxes or bags as there wasn't much - all she wanted was the few clothes remaining in her closet and a small box with pictures of her family and emergency money.

Not too long after, he placed all of it neatly in a corner of the bed, walking to the kitchen for some black bags to clear out everything they already had back at home. He was planning on calling someone to do the clearing out but a helping hand wouldn't hurt.

It wasn't until he could hear loud sobs emerging from the bedroom that he abandoned the act of cleaning the cupboards out, running back to Arabella instead.

The sound of her crying so harshly was soon muffled as she burrowed into his shoulder when he pulled her tightly into a hug.

"Shhh, little baby, it's alright. Daddy's right here, no more tears hmm? Breathe with me sweetheart, such a good girl."

"L-L-Left D-Daddy-" She hiccuped, her throat sore.

"Never, my love. Daddy was just cleaning the apartment." He soothed her, not liking how badly the place seemed to be affecting her. "You want to stay with me whilst I finish up little baby?" He was glad to see her nod. "Alright, my precious girl, up we get." He carried her to the small kitchen with his hoodie still draped over her to keep her warm.

"D-Daddy." He gently placed her down as she tapped his shoulders quickly. With a pout, she urged him to put his hoodie back on.

"C-Cold Daddy." She frowned as she sneezed twice, still holding out his hoodie for him.

"Daddy is perfectly fine baby." He was touched by how much she cared. "It's okay, just a little bit longer and everything will be done. Then we can go home yeah?"

After a bit more encouraging, she kept it and obeyed Apollo's command for her to wait just a little longer until he was done.

"You're being such a good girl for me." He praised her when the whole apartment was clear. "Making Daddy so proud aren't you?" He kissed her softly, making sure with her that everything she wanted to keep was coming home with them.

She mumbled a small 'bye' as they left with her stuff, Apollo locking the door they would never see again.

"D-Don't wanna." Came the small whimper as Arabella sat on their bed, full from the warm dinner Apollo cooked.

"Please, my love? For Daddy yeah?" He cooed, holding up the liquid medicine to her lips one more time.

Hesitantly, she opened her mouth, appreciating how her man held her nose until she finally swallowed. She shook her head at the taste, not liking it at all.

"I know, baby, I know." He put the bottle and small spoon back onto the nightstand and slipped under the sheets with her. "Come here." He mumbled, pulling her closer towards him. "Lift your head, just like that baby." He said as he let her rest her head on his arm, the other rubbing her back and sometimes tummy.

"F-Feels nasty D-Daddy." She whimpered softly through an aching throat.

"Try get some sleep, my love. My little baby needs to rest hmm?" But before she fell asleep, he helped her kiss their stuffies goodnight and he did the same, not wanting to break the promise he made.

Her eyes fluttered shut as he pressed a soft kiss against her forehead after their stuffies were tucked into bed too. A small hum escaped his lips as she nuzzled closer and his chin rest on top of her head.

My precious girl was the last thing he thought of before he fell asleep too.
