Became a social outcast over the summer and now her used-to-be friends treat her no better than the dirt under their shoes. But no matter what she's been through, she's still our sunshine girl, always treating life with a positive attitude.

Roman Dean Castro

Well... he's definitely got an attitude. His main focus is basketball and he has no time for anyone else's crap. Being the new kid in town just brings him unwanted attention. With his social skills hanging by a thread, it's a wonder how he's quickly considered one of the school's biggest heartthrobs.

It's their senior year. With Roman being the way he is, his teacher decides he needs a positive influence in his life.

So anyway

One of my favorite tropes ever is grumpy vs. sunshine, so I decided to write my own. I just loveeee the stories where the grumpy boy asshole falls for the sweet sunshine girl. MY. FAV. TROPE.

And I also wanted to make a slow burn love story SO YAY!

Now I do want to say, my stories in the past have been feel good romances and I AM A BIG FAT SUCKER FOR FEEL GOOD ROMANCE. However, this is definitely a more emotional journey than my other two stories. The mc is adopted with a rough past. Please consider the following warnings ...
