Shu's Pov

It was morning already we woke up early except Valt. We were making our way through the forest. Since Valt wasnt awake Free was carrying him on his back. We found our way out of the forest.
Free and Valt had to go the other way so we bid our goodbyes and went our own ways.

Although Im with Lui and he has no problem killing the infected, I'm afraid he might leave me behind. We didnt really have the nicest conversations. We are enemies and I dont even think he would bother protecting me. I was interrupted from my thoughts when Lui pulled me behind a car.

Shu:What are yo-
Lui:Shh Kurenai lower your voice there are infected there.
Shu:But they cant see us in the sun Lui.
Lui:Apparently there is a new research which you didnt read.
Shu:What is it?
Lui:There are two types of infected. Ones are the clickers and the others are the runners. The clickers cant see but they can hear. While the runners can see.
Shu:How did you know that?
Lui:Like I said theres a new research and the thing that is making the people act like this is because of a fungus that is growing all over their brains.
Shu:So how do we identify which type of infected are they?
Lui:The one with the fungus all over their head are the clickers. The ones without the fungus on their head are the ones that can see. Those their are clickers we wanna be very careful right now so follow my lead.

Shu:Okay lead the way.

(By the way if you wanna know more about the types of infected Ill let you guys know at the end of this. And mabye some of you know where I got the zombie stuff from)

We were sneaking past them very carefully. But suddenly a building collapsed near by alerting all the clickers. Lui quickly grabbed my wrist and we started running so none of them figured out we are here. Unfortunately I fell down from hitting the bumper of a broken car. The bumper caused a huge thud and the clickers started screeching and running to us. I tried getting up just to fall back down.

Shu:Lui I sprained my ankle.
Lui:Shit Kurenai.
Shu:Just leave.
Lui:What?
Shu:Run away let them get me.

The clickers had already made their way towards us. They were 2 inches away from us. I havent heard anything from Lui so I guess he left. I knew he wouldn't protect me anyways. Suddenly a hand covered my eyes.

??? :I know u cant handle blood.

In an instant I hear 6 gunshots. The person slid his hands off my eyes. On the ground just a foot away were the clickers laying on the ground blood coming out from each of their heads. I felt a knot in my stomach I quickly looked over to the side so I dont puke from the sight. When I turned to the side there was Lui?

Lui:Cmon dont just stare at me get on my back.
Shu:What why?
Lui:Cause you sprained your ankle idiot. And Im pretty sure we alerted the other infected as well now quick.

Lui wasnt wrong there were screeches heard from a distance. Without wasting time lui went front of me and bent down facing his back towards me. He took my hands and wrapped it on his neck. Then he took my legs and wrapped them around his waist.

Lui:Hold on tight Kurenai.

I yelped as soon as he got up.I tightened my grip on his neck and waist while he held both of my ankles firmly but not too firm to hurt me. He started running and even though I was on his back he didn't seem to get tired out. He maintained his speed and ran far away. Then he stopped after running for 5 minutes. Without needing to catch his breath he asked me to lead him to Valts house.

Lui:Okay lead me to Valts house but be sure you whisper it into my ear we dont want to attract any attention anymore.

I nodded and started whispering the way in his ear leading us to Valts house.

Alright so Ill give you guys the details of the infected. The infection can be lead to another person if someone whos infected bites them. The bite transfers a dangerous fungus into a humans brain. The fungus totally covers the brain making the humans turn into Zombies.

Clickers:They are able to hear things. Their hearing abilities are very fast so you want to make sure your as quiet as possible around them. They cant see because some infected grew the fungus on their head as well covering their eyes. Those infected are called as clickers. Best way to avoid them is by throwing something somewhere to distract them. Then you can sneak past them quietly and they wont hear you since they would be too distracted by the previous noise.

Runners:They can see. They might look like normal humans but they arnt normal humans. Their Zombies. Runners are the infected which only have the fungus growing on their brain. In the first part Shu and Valt came across a Runner. Runners are able to see and hear but their sense of hearing isnt as fast as a clickers nor a normal humans.

Bloaters:Bloaters are basically clickers. But they turn into Bloaters beacuse some infected grew the fungus on their  their body as well as their head. Bloaters are the strongest type of infected. They wont die with just one shot or stab. It is really hard to kill a bloater. I havent introduced them yet but I will when we go further into the story.
