Asch's POV

After the effects of the blindness splash potion were wore off , I immediately realised Rhys and Ava were gone nowhere.

"Where's Ava?!" "Probably Rhys took her to safety. Just get these fellas out of the hall!" Leif yelled while kicked the human with ice powers by the stomach.

One of the gods of Ream suddenly stopped their attack and thought for a while. I took the chance while he was gazing outside the window , pushing him to the wall , giving him several punches by the face.

"This is my day , and why you do want to ruin it?!" He chuckled and grabbed me by the collar and pushed me to the other side of the walls. "It was never meant to be. Ream need her to complete it. She had so much more secrets that you even have no idea of." He said while whistleblowing, having a sudden retreat with the other god of Ream , Villains League members and none other than Petalyze's necklace.

"Well , at least they're gone." Leif said while catching his breath after the fight. Rhys suddenly rushed in the hall   yelling

"She took Ava to the enchanted forest!"

We all quickly rushed our way to the Enchanted forest and found Cervidae had cornered Ava by the cliff.

"There they are! Cervidae! We're here to challenge you!" I yelled as she turned her head a bit and looked at us with her lips curled up.

"You will remember how they treat you!" She yelled while ran towards Ava with her handcuffs pointing out a sharp pointy metal towards Ava's throat.

"Cervidae...don't. We'll talk this out..."
Rhys said nervously.

"I won't , she's the purpose I'm here after all. I would share a story , Lady Ava..." She said while stroking the side of the metal on her neck.

"A tale.....of a human and 5 demons..."

We all widened our eyes but ignore the point of her sentence. "Let Ava go and we'll have a nice talk about this , Cervi." She chuckled. "Don't pumpkin want to remember how they treat you? Hmm? Every protection of theirs was for their own sake." She said while hugged Ava closer to her , closer to the weapon of hers.

"I-I don't know what are you talking about!" "Oh yes you do... You just.... Forgot about it.... You forgot all the old times.... Forgot about this old group of friends of yours , cause you don't think you're someone deserve to be care of. But....we do..... for the sake of friends and being one of us.....Right Irene?"

"Stop mentioning those things to her , Cervidae!" "Oh....The truth will be out of the bag anyway.... It's fine right? Rhys? Listen to me , Ava. You'll be appreciate for whatever you listen." Ava had her mouth half open. "Go on... I will see what nonsense you have..." She said coldly.

"Well sure~" , Cervidae hummed while glared at us , "Let's take a closer look....Huh , magic crisis.... Humans.... Princess....A dagger by the throat.... Does that gave you any spark in mind Ava?"

She's clearly breaking the chains in Ava's mind to make her remember of whatever we did!

"Shut up already and give her to us!" "Oh....But I believe Ava remembered something....didn't you Ava?" I looked at Ava who's looking at her feet , daydreaming for a second.

"This is ridiculous! They would never do this to me!" She said angrily while grabbed Cervidae by the arm and flipped her down to the ground. Cervidae groaned in pain while Ava glared at her , wiping the sweat and blood by her cheeks.

"You'll get me...Ava.....You will remember....what they did to you!" She whistle as a tentacle wrapped her wrist and pulled her away. We all turned and found the Reams were all here.

"Ava- No...Irene... Or....Mother of the Outsiders...." The leader of Villains League said while her face was hanged with sorrow and yearn.

We all turned to Ava and found her had a face of fear and a tear glide down from her eye. "Oct.... Just....go.... I need to stay here...." "Can't you see?! Irene?! Your children was yearning for you for 10 years! 10 YEARS! We don't want to wake up because we found someone better than any parent on Earth! It's you...." The leader yelled while tears gliding down from her cheeks and so was the others.

"I....I...." "You have been done so much deeds on Ream. I'm sure that more than the ones you did on Daemos."

"Stop manipulating her!"

"Asch , just kill them already!" Leif groaned impatiently while pulling out his sickles and charged after the female spirit with stripes. "Leif don't-!" Rhys's yells was a bit too late....

Before the sickles could land on her cheeks , a figure suddenly rushed towards and blocked the attack.

"A-Ava...What are you doing?!" I looked with my widened black eyes and found Ava standing in front of the spirit with a cut on her cheek. Leif freaked out as he dropped his sickles that was dripping with red blood stains.

"Don't even think about hurting them...." She mumbled while putting her thumb on her cheeks. Soon , a white glow appeared below her thumb and as her hand removed , the scar was gone.

"When did you have healing magic Ava?" "She already have them.... Just when she's in a different circumstances.... Right Pierce?" Cervidae asked.

"....Yes." "Why didn't you tell us that earlier?! Pierce!" "I don't think there's the need of telling that." I groaned as I heard his ridiculous reason.

"Mother....Let's go home....Okay?" Ava looked at Oct who's a head taller than her. Ava looked down to her feet , looking at us , and looked at the Reams.... Looking at us again....

She's choosing sides....

Friends...

Or Family.....

"Ava , please...." Noi begged , hoping her not to leave us...

She looked at Noi and us with a straight face and then looked back at the Reams , holding Oct's hand , saying

"Let's go home , Oct."
