Ava's POV

I groaned as I feel my bones were freeze into ice...

I opened my eyes , got up from bed and grunted while rubbing my eyes. I looked around and found Asch and his loyal knights were in the room.

Some leaning against the wall , some sitting on the chair , some laid on the ground and one sleeping by the bedside.

I smiled slightly , and got up and out of Asch's room. As I slammed the door quietly , I put my hand on the fire pit in front of his doorstep while the free hand touched the slightly frozen jewels.

I sighed and walked on the hallways. While walked in a trauma mode , I bumped into Lady Grandma. "Oh geez! I'm so sorry , Lady Grandma!" "Ain't the problem , sweetie. Are you alright? Why didn't I see my bad grandson of mine? Did he dump you poor maiden here?" She said while hit the carpet covered ground hardly.

"Lady Grandma , I'm fine. Just they might have a long day taking care of me , they're all taking themselves a break." I quickly defend for Asch and the rest , just in case Lady Grandma did something stupid on them.

"Well , defending for him like a wife already?""Lady Grandma!" I looked at her with my face blushed like hell. "Oh ho ho , I'm just teasing. Don't get it too serious. Anyway , you should be checking up your stable. The spirits might gone hunger for quite some time from all of your businesses."

Why does that chuckle from Lady Grandma sounds so familiar...?
I thought as a vision came into my head.

"Oh , ______."

"Oh Ava, I've been so worried about you!" I looked at her confusingly , "What do you mean?"

"I've heard you screaming and yelling all weekend. I was especially worried when I heard you screaming for 3 hours straight!" I looked at her with a quite sad face , asking why did she call the cops , since it's the most efficient idea.

"Oh I'm sorry dear , my memory goes when I don't have notes on the fridge. I'll be sure to make a note for next time but I'm glad you're alright." She beamed.

She then hoped me to deliver a gift to her grandson down street , giving me the usual payment for being kind and sweet to her.

"Now , what were you screaming about?" As I was about to say something, Rhys came in the half of the conversation with Pierce.

"Ava ,look! I figured out how to put the clothes on!" "No one saw him do it and he won't tell us."said Pierce in a quite sad tone. "Cause it's a test from her and I passed it again!" Rhys said while smiled happily.

"Go away!" I yelled , turned back to her who have this funny face on her wrinkle skin. "Oh~ I see what's going on~" She winked at me.

"Please, it's not what you think..." I said nervously. "The high was young once. I'm glad to see you're good hands." My face immediately gone red like hell. "Oh my god....YOU HAVE THE WRONG IDEA!!!!!"

Once again , got interrupted by Asch.

"PRISONER! GET OVER HERE NOW!!!"

"Oh my-!" "I gotta go , Mrs. Oats , sorry!" I yelled and slammed the door shut!!!

"Ava? Ava. Ava!" Right the same moment I snapped out of trauma , I have got some headsmack from Lady Grandma's staff. "Miss Oa- I mean , Lady Grandma!" "You're finally awake , head to the stable. I will handle those demon boys of yours." "Yeah sur- Wait , excuse me?!" She giggled like a child and walked away.

"Hey little one , gone worried, aren't you?" Mammoo trumpeted happily while Johnny hopped into my bent lap , snuggled in. "You two were just sweeter than sugar, aren't ya? Alright , who's hungry?" The stable gone hyper when they heard food.

"Darn it , we're ran out of berries , Big guy. It's true that you got huge stomach in there."I said while giggled at the ostrich quack in disagreement. "Okay , okay , stop with the beak knock , I'm going to get some more , alright?" I grabbed its beak from poking m- Wait , poking?....

I was sleeping peacefully in my bed..until....

I groaned and looked at Leif who's at the bed side with a unhappy face.

"Are you dead?"

"I'm sick , leave me alone."

"I'm just gonna that you don't die."

"How thoughtful." I said and flipped to the other side , continue sleeping.

Until I felt a poke by the butt , I jumped up from bed and yelled , "Whhaaaat did you poke my butt with what?!"

He looked at me confusingly , "I poked you with my weapon , what else can I poke you with?"

I looked at him angrily , "JUST LET ME SLEEP!"

"And he kept poking me throughout the night , look , he's doing it right now." I glared him until he stopped.

"Oops." "Cut it out you!"yelled Asch....

I blinked my eyes from the second trauma , and got beak hit by the ostrich again. "*squawk*!""Yeah I know! Ain't need you to tell me! Stupid ostrich!" I yelled at him.

Noi's POV

I was sleeping on the ground until a step on the palm make me jumped up from the ground. I rubbed on my eyes , looked up to the bed and found Ava had gone nowhere!

"Ava's gone!" The others jumped up from their sleep position. "Where did Ava go?!" "I don't know? Maybe someone TOOK HER OUT AND DIDN'T WANT TO TELL US!!!!" yelled Leif. "Excuse me?" questioned Asch in his daily scary tone.

"Well , you're the one who's sleeping the closest to her. Obviously the blame's on you." "How dare you! I shall burn you to as-" Right Asch grabbed Leif's collar , about to burn him with his magic , he was interrupted by a soft cough.

"Well , well , fighting for his own wife I assume?" "Lady Grandma , when were you-"We looked at Lady Grandma who's sitting on Asch's chair, petting on the spirit that came to Ear-th with us from Daemos."I went in after having quite long talk with Ava. You're all sleeping like hoglins that moment. Well , not until I step onto that scrub's palm."

Oh....So is her...

....Ouch....

"Did Ava mentioned where she went , Lady Grandma?" "Well , I convinced her to the stable for daily feeding. But there's something I had to tell you boys." We all looked at her confusingly. "Ugghh , Grandma , don't waste our time already. We have to get to-""Silent! I could've had your tongue but thanks for your wife-to-be's kindness. She told me spare you since you're so talkative!," She suddenly glared at me , "Especially that scrub who's giving me trouble lately."

"What's wrong with Ava?" asked Rhys while adjusting his glaoses. Lady Grandma only sighed and leaned back to the chair. "Ava had retrieved most of her memories, she even called me some Mrs. Oats." "The wise sage Mrs. Oats back on Ear-th? How is that even possible?" "Lady Grandma and Mrs. Oats does even have quite similar personality."I said while Pierce agreed with his 'yes'.

"Well , you boys better head to find her since Lady Bish had most of her interest on Petalyze's necklace." "Well , she did actually used the magic well." I chuckled. "Like a Daemos, which wasn't what she supposed to be." Pierce said calmly.

Yeah....

She's a human anyway....

".....What in the Daemos hell you're waiting for?! Don't just stand here. Find Ava!" We all freaked out and ran to the stable , looking for Ava with the help of Lady Grandma's boost for chasing after us.

"Where is she?" "Did Lady Grandma thought of a another location?"asked Leif. "I don't think so , the stable seems to be cleaner than usual. Ava's been here. She cleaned the place up." Rhys said while touching the floor.

I sighed and leaned against the wall. "*meow*""Aaahhh!" I freaked out and scoot to the side , getting away from the spirit of Ava's. The spirit licked its fur and laid back on the Mamphant's back.

"Maybe they know where Ava went!" Rhys's eyes sparkled as he found hope for finding Ava."Pierce , do your thing." Pierce nodded as he walked towards the spirit calmly and patted by its head.

"Spirit , did you know where Ava went?" Pierce asked and the Mamphant grabbed Pierce's palm with his trunk and walked out of the stable. We looked at Pierce who was leaden to the forest by the spirits , we first hesitated but then Rhys did the first step.

We followed them to a lake with bushes of Hawthorns and trees grew with vines around the branches. The spirits stopped here and walked towards the lake , drinking some water.

"What are they doing?" "Taking a break. I assume." Pierce answered Asch. "Why are they even taking a break?! Tell them we got more important things to do!"yelled Asch while forming fire in his grip.

"Prince Asch! Lower down your voice!" whisper yelled Rhys who's flipped open the bushes. "Why should I?! Aren't you even panick of-""Shush , look." The 5 of us squeezed through hole from the bush , found Ava sitting on the foliage, staring at a floor of yellow mixed orange colour flowers , with a basket of dragon berries.

"What is she doing?" "Is she retrieving her memories back again?" "Those flowers...." I took a closer look by squeezing to the front a bit. "Noi , you're literally blocking my sight." "Hehe , I remember those flowers! Those are the ones I gave to Ava while we're fighting for deciding who she should marry to! She said that they're her favourit-"

"NOI!!!"
They all glared at me with killer eyes.

I looked at them with my head titled to the side. "What?" "Did you know , you're loud to get-" Leif grabbed my collar , revealing me his sharp teeth , until a loud landing voice occurred in front of us. I looked up and found a Fangon with dark red colour scales in front of us.

"Are we doom?" "Thanks Noi! I'm soooooo appreciate for attracting the Fangon!'' Leif said while rolling his eye.

The Fangon walked towards us , growling by revealing his teeth with some blood stained on. "Woah Woah, easy there , kiddo!" I opened my eyes and found Ava blocked the Fangon's way with her spirit whistle in her grip.

"Hehe , you're just hungry, aren't ya? Heads up." Ava said while tossed some berries into its mouth. "Ava! Get here! It's dangerous there!" She turned to me with her hand on her hip. "Oh please guys , just Fancy Dancer Fangon had a new colour of her scales doesn't mean she quit being vegetarian." She said while hugged the Fangon by the head.

"Vegetarian Fangon?" "Well that's first." "But what are you doing here?" asked Pierce. "Well , you see , I'm collecting berries for the ostrich back in the stable since I ran out of stock. Then , when I realised I got attracted by these flowers , you guys already suffering yourselves from a vegan Fangon." She said while picked up the basket and walked across us.

"Let's go , that ostrich was probably hunger till he'll eat the whole stable." She said and walked with the spirits , except the Fangon.

Rhys's POV

"Hey , Rhys?"

I turned my head from the bookshelf and found Ava standing behind me.

"Yes , Ava?" "Do we.....actually met... somewhere than Daemos?" She questioned me. A chill from my back shivers my spine. "No , we haven't seen you till the day I first saw you back in the library. Why were you asking such question?"

"It's just- *sigh* I felt like forgetting someone , and for some reason , you guys were in my vision. Is that a norm?" She said with a little terrified tone.

I smiled to calm down her nervous and patted her head. "Maybe , you thought too much. Sometimes , things just happen to be a bit realistic , but they're just visions. You don't have too get so into it. You should take a break , tomorrow is the meeting of crowning you royal."

She hummed in respond and hopped back to her chamber. I sighed as I turned back to the bookshelves.

"Sorry , Ava. But it's the only way."
I thought to myself and continue researching.
