Ava's POV

Walking in the forest,  kicking every single rock I saw on the foliage.

While touching the pain part where Asch pinched me , thinking about the stupid judgement.

"What are you even talking about , Ava?! It sounds like a fault of mine to blame! I haven't even start the task of yours yet!"She yell at me , pointed out her finger.

"I am telling the truth!"I yelled , trying to make myself clear.

"She told me 'bout that! Tell them! You know the truth!"I grabbed the emo girl's arm , hoping her to tell the truth.

"I don't know what are you talking about. I was busy with the daily chores." She said while pulled her arms away from mine. Her eyes reflect fear and guilt.....

"See , even she said such way! You better don't push your mistakes to someone else!""I didn't, Bitc-" "Enough!"

Asch's Father's voice echoed in the air,  shutting both of our mouths up.

"You two better behaved yourself. Ava , you better be focusing on the spirit stable and your training than the argument with Bish."said his majesty and left me with my fist curled up for anger.

"See? How much you hate me , his majesty still stand on my side. Give up , Ava. You will never pass my test , not to mention , being queen of Daemos~" whispered Lady Bish and left me with the accompany of Zex.

"Ugh! This is so unfair! I almost died from some stupid Mamphants and she still blamed me for bringing danger to Daemos. This is just-!" I groaned and found a shadow behind the trunk.

"Who's there?"I yelled and found the emo Daemos girl walked out from the shadow.

"You..."I growled deeply.

I ran towards her with my hand grabbing her collar. "What didn't you tell them the truth?! I could've see that bitch suffer already!"

As I yelled , walls of vines grew out from the foliage , surrounding us. But not the purplish sky with barely seen clouds.

"This could've be a fair judgement if you just proved the fact that Bish told you the mission. And you didn't! I shall kill you as-""Stay clam , Lady Ava! I didn't really mean to!"

She yelled and kneeled on the quite rocky road , begging for forgiveness.

I looked at her with my arms crossed.

"Right then , explain as I command."

Pierce's POV

Ava had gone somewhere.

She's not in the stable or the royal library. She must be walking around somewhere.

Until...

"What?""Yeah , Lady Ava did walked out of the castle gates to the forest." answered the guards who were guarding the gates."Did she told you why?""Sorry but no , Pierce."

I walked out the gates , along the road with earlier Mamphants footprints , found a quite unusual thing...

There's a house of vines that bear diamond shaped fruit. The fruits were glowing in light blue colour light , like snakes , the vines glided in a perfect cube shape , not revealing a single hole.

Lucky me , it ain't soundproof.

"What do you mean I should give up!? Are you seeing me a weak knight from the first day we met!? Listen up! Since you said so , I had the motivation to prove it to you now!"

"Please Lady Ava! This rushed action might lead you to exile or even worst! You must remember! His highness's father was on the same line as Bish! It's just impossible!"

The female Daemos that Ava mentioned back at the arguement?

"Ava! Are you in there?!"

"P-Pierce!? What are you- What's wrong with....Ugh!" The walls of vines collapsed into dust and I found the female Daemos who's shaking Ava's unconscious body.

"Let her go.""Pierce! I can explain! She just collapsed onto the ground! I didn't do anything!" I looked at her who's looking to the ground full of frighten and guilt.

"I trust you."

"Well , what's wrong with her?" questioned Prince Asch as I stepped in his throne room with the others waiting.

"The healer said she just got over exhausted from the fight with the Mamphants. No injuries. She just needed rest."I answered,  giving everyone a chance to exhale their nervous breath.

"Clearly Lady Bish wants her to die so she could be Queen of Daemos.""Yes. Everything was set up. From Zex and Bish." I agreed with Rhys.

"How the heck Zex this scary spirit could even freaked out the herd?" "Clearly he used explosive potions , loud enough. And since there's an amount of ingredients disappeared , I can clearly make that as an conclusion."Rhys answered Leif.

"What about the female Daemos that somehow accompanied Ava?"" That's quite a question. I never seen her around the palace. But she knows my name and the fact that Lady Bish was behind this."I answered Noi.

"Pierce. Keep an eye on her. She had a bunch of secrets behind her , and one day , she let the spirit out of the bag." said Asch in a serious tone.

After Asch dismissed us back to our chambers , I had this weird feeling...

Ava's POV

After found myself back in my chamber , I got off from bed and glide my fingers on the jewels of Petalyze's necklace through the reflection of the mirror. At the mean time , the conversation with the emo girl replayed in my head.

"Yes. Lady Bish did told me to inform me to tell you the mission. But she tortured me with words,your highness!" I demanded her to elaborate.

"She told me to do as she said then... forget about it after I succeeded! Or else she's gonna reveal the fact that I sneak out with food from the palace to the poor , telling this to the High Council , for sure....My head will be off!" Her tears burst out as she begged.

"Yeah....I will forget that....But tell me... why shouldn't I kill her?"I glared at her furiously.

"Well...You see Lady Ava...Since Lady Bish was the first lady in waiting to the throne for being queen , his majesty will definitely treat her better , teach her everything to be a queen , make sure she's well prepared for this."

"And?" "And since his majesty does actually really mind about status...He does have the inequality of treating people... So , if you kill her , which angered his majesty and....Might face execution or exile. And you have a heart of gold. I know it! It's ashamed if you died under a sword...."

"So please Lady Ava ,let go the hope for ruling Daemos."

I know the necklace was from Petalyze and so I have no clue how it works.

But it seems like I can control the powers with emotions.

Rhys's POV

I knocked on Ava's chamber's door and found her standing behind the door with her messy raven hair.

"Oh hey Rhys. Aren't you supposed to take a break by now?"

"Just wanna check out of you , seeing you're alright then....Have some rest , Lady Ava." "I swear to God , stop calling me that."growled Ava and slammed the door hardly.

I freaked out as she had a sudden bad tempered.

I sighed sorrowly and left.

And at the mean time

I slipped and fall

I thought to myself

Where did the water come from?

I stood up and found melted ice and some ice shattered pieces on the ground.

I looked at Ava's slammed door and the pieces that soon melted and thought....
