Heart beating fast, sweat dropping ever so gracefully from his forehead down his face, Hitoshi stares up at the board, waiting anxiously for the match-ups to be announced. On the other hand, Killua looks at the same object in a calm demeanor. "Gives off the nerves, huh?" Mei ask-states from beside the two boys. Hitoshi sighs, "No kidding."

As Midnight announces the match-ups on the board, Hitoshi and Mei's heads snap up, scanning the board intensely, looking for their names. Well, Hitoshi was scanning intensely, Mei was scanning normally, if that girl is even anything remotely close to normal. "...Midoriya," Hitoshi read airily from the board, unease written all over his face, "He.. ranked first in the obstacle course, just my luck. Why does the universe hate me so much?"

"You'll do fine, oh, and look! I'm against Tenya Iida, whoever that is!" Mei beamed, "I'll have fun promoting all my babies!". Killua rolled his eyes lightheartedly, chuckling a bit at his two friends' typical actions. Scanning the board himself, Killua sees his name beside the name 'Shiozaki Ibara'. Not knowing who that is, Killua just spaces out whilst waiting, ignoring the havoc of emotions from all around him.

Killua and Hitoshi decided to stay back one of the many waiting rooms before everything started as Mei had to go and re-check all her babies and even tweak them a bit. To top it off, Hitoshi was nothing less of an absolute mess. Honestly, how Hitoshi even keeps a calm demeanor most of the time is surprising given how much he freaks out internally, well, externally when he's with Killua, but that doesn't matter.

"Oh god Midoriya and I's match is the first. WhatamIgonnadoWhatamIgonnado-" "You'll do fine, Hito, great, even. Midoriya's quirk is something like super strength, and you have brain washing," Killua explains in attempt to keep his purple haired friend calm, which wasn't working well. "But what if he doesn't answer my questions? Or if he directly charges at me?" Hitoshi asks back, trying his best to keep calm. It seems to be working, seeing how his words don't jumble together anymore, and how he seems to ask normal questions instead of letting his mentality speak for him like he did a few seconds ago.

"That won't be a problem. I won't make you any strategies because what's the fun in that? But what I can tell you is that Midoriya is a huge hero nerd, especially when it comes to All Might," Killua informs, "Oh, and he can't seem to control his quirk very well, poor boy keeps breaking his bones," he says, shaking his head slightly. Hitoshi lets the words sit in before speaking up, "So, getting to brainwash him won't be much of a problem, but if he doesn't, I might need a plan B, but what would that be?" Hitoshi thinks aloud, and Killua just flashed his iconic cat-like-grin, "That's for you to decide, I said I won't be making decisions for you. Not for the battles, anyway. You don't grow from people bossing you around, after all." Killua says, standing up. "I'll be heading out, I'll come back to tell you if the battle is about to start."

Leaving Hitoshi on his own to think this through himself, Killua finds himself walking around aimlessly, leaving his thoughts hanging around his head. The pale haired boy walked out the stadium and saw a guy in a large trench coat talking to a police officer who looked like he had.. a cat's head? Do those weird hybrid thingies exist in this world? Oh well. Not like he had much to do, so eavesdropping it is.

"Oi, oi, oi, Sansa. What do you mean there's a villain in the crowd? How the hell did that even happen?!" the guy in the trench coat whisper-yelled at the cat looking man, looking agitated. "I don't know! I was patrolling the other side of the school when one of the newbies informed me in a hurry," the cat-man replied, looking just as troubled as the guy in the trench coat. An infiltration, huh? Oh well, might as well brush it off, not like Killua wanted to expose his power overflow in this world when he finally became something remotely 'normal'.

Walking away, Killua hums a tune to himself.

"Oi Hito, it's almost time for your spar," Killua says, poking his head into the room he left Hitoshi in prior. Standing up from the chair he was sitting on, Hitoshi nods in acknowledgement as he walks over to his pale haired friend. The two walked through the corridors in silence, that is, until they arrived at the stadium, loud cheers and chatter filling the air.

"Good luck there, Hito," Killua says, walking over to the audience to watch the match. Hitoshi, on the other, hand... not so thrilled. Hitoshi didn't have that much of a plan, despite Killua giving him time to think about it.

"WELCOME TO THE FIRST MATCH OF THE FINALS TOUNRAMENT!" Present Mic's voice boomed once again throughout the stadium, "FROM THE HERO COUSE, IZUKU MIDORIYA!!"cheers and claps were heard as Midoriya walked up the stage with a determined look on his face. "VERSUS! FROM GENERAL STUDIES, IT'S HITOSHI SHINSO!" more cheers were heard as the two walked and finally arrived in the center of the stage. "START!!"

Remembering  Killua's words about the green haired boy's huge hero nerd nature, Hitoshi started talking, "Did you know All Might has a secret?" he asked, the usual stoic expression on his face. Midoriya's eyes widened, his whole body visibly tensed. With a shaky voice, he started carefully, "W-What do you me-" the green haired boy didn't get to finish his sentence before his eyes went dull as he lost control over his body movements.

"Turn around and walk out of bounds," Hitoshi orders. Midoriya does in fact turn around, his legs moving robotically moving towards the edge of the rectangle battleground. Shocked gasps and whispers erupt from the crowds, Present Mic's loud commentating filling the air. Without loosing focus, Hitoshi thinks, 'That's it? Am I going to win just like that? Oh well, that's pretty neat, I guess.'

Walking over to the edge of the court, Midoriya's internal monologue was panicking. Was he really going to let All Might down like this? Even with one for all, could he not have done it all along? That is, when peculiar things happened in his head. The green haired boy could see all previous one for all successors, each looking at him, some smiling, and others giving words of affirmation. A rush of power flowed through Midoriya's body, and with a flick of his fingers, a huge gush of wind pushed Hitoshi and all the audiences' hair back, and there Midoriya stood. Right before the line, snapped back into reality.

Hitoshi gaped at the green haired boy with wide eyes. Had his concentration faltered somehow? No, now's not the time to be thinking about that. "Wait wait," Hitoshi said, raising his arms in defense, or defeat. The stadium goes quiet, and Midoriya freezes still. "WHAT IS THIS TURN OF EVENTS?" Mic's voice boomed once again, "IS HITOSHI SHINSO ABOUT TO ADMIT DEFEAT IN SUCH ABRUPT CIRCUMSTANCES?"

Confused, Midnight was about to raise her whip and announce the winner as Midoriya when Hitoshi continued his sentence, "What day was it again?". Dumbstruck, everyone just went quiet, and Midoriya didn't seem to want to open his mouth. Has he already figured it out?

Opting to see how this goes, Midnight lowers her whip and allows the fight to keep going. Midoriya, unwilling to speak, dashed at Hitoshi, who dodged just in time. Looking up, Midoriya sets his hands into a flicking position, all for one rushing through his thumb and middle finger before he flicks his hand, the sheer power making dust rush past. However, Hitoshi didn't endure those month of pure torture for nothing.

Jumping out of the way, Hitoshi leaps at Midoriya, who in turn flicked again at Hitoshi once again. Since Hitoshi was in mid-air, he couldn't dodge that blow. Taking the capture weapon akin to the pro-hero eraserhead's, he throws it in Midoriya's direction as he was dealing the blow, since that's all he could do.

Unfortunately, the act was futile. There was just no way a capture weapon could counter that enormous blow. Or could it? Hitoshi's feet hit the ground, hands shooting up in a protective stance in front of his face. But... the impact never came? Blinking, Hitoshi looked up to see he was still in the ring, as well as Midoriya. The capture weapon wrapped around Midoriya's hands somehow, but it wasn't long before he took them off and put his fingers in another flicking stance. Some of his fingers are broken, Hitoshi thinks, remembering the heads up Killua gave him prior.

This time, Hitoshi dashes at Midoriya, who flicks his fingers again. With one swift move, Hitoshi was able to dodge it once again, tackling Midoriya. The pale haired boy decides to wrestle Hitoshi, pushing back at the purple haired insomniac. Before Hitoshi could think much, Midoriya grabs his wrists and flips Hitoshi u in the air, and slamming him to the ground.

However, this is a very basic move Killua has taught Hitoshi during those months in the hero course training rooms. Before Hitoshi could be slammed out of bounds, Hitoshi twists his body mid-air and flips to the side opposite of there Midoriya was going to slam him.

The crowd goes wild, and present mic was screaming more shocking and dramatic commentary. The fight is not over, though, as the two were still near the line that bounds them in the arena. Midoriya uses his good hand to try and swing a hit, but Hitoshi crouches down, causing Midoriya to miss. Still in that position, Hitoshi's left arm helps him balance himself on the floor as his right leg straightens to the side, sliding and knocking Midoriya off his footing, resulting in the green haired boy tripping and falling out of bounds.

The crowd goes into total silence once again, Hitoshi's heartbeat was the only thing filling his own ears. That is, until a single person started clapping in the crowds. Hitoshi turns his head to the source of the sound, seeing none other than his pale haired friend, smiling and clapping proudly. The crowd mimics his movements, and in a matter of seconds the crowd went wild. "Midoriya Izuku is out of bounds, Hitoshi Shinso wins!" Midnight stated with a flick of her whip. "ANDDD THERE WE HAVE IT FOLKS! HITOSHI SHINSO FROM THE GENERAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT HAS WON THE FIRST ROUND OF THE FINAL TOURNAMENTS!" present mic said in his usual loud volume.

Looking at the green haired hero student on the ground, Hitoshi stands with wide eyes, awkwardly reaching a hand out to help him up. Midoriya looks at him with a weak smile and takes his hand, standing up wobbly. Midoriya looks so down and upset, but it was visible that the green haired boy was trying his best to brighten his own mood. "You have a great quirk, Shinso!" Midoriya beamed nonetheless. His fawning wasn't strained at all, perhaps since he was a total quirk and hero nerd. "Ah- uh- thanks?" Hitoshi awkwardly replied.

Smiling, Midoriya walked out the ring towards the enrance he came from, and Shinso did the same. Before entering the tunnel leading indoors, Hitoshi stopped when he heard one of his classmates yell from above the tunnel, in the crowd of audiences, "You were really cool, Shinso!" Looking up, Hitoshi could see all his GenEd classmates sitting there, all beaming at him. "I was so surprised!" one screamed, "You're the star of General Studies!" "You're amazing!" Feeling his chest warm up, Shinso gives them a small smile, and continues his walk towards the waiting rooms.

Walking through he corridors of the waiting many waiting rooms, Hitoshi spotted his white haired friend, who was smiling smugly. "Told you you'd be fine," he chuckled, handing Hitoshi a cold soda. Taking the drink, Hitoshi hums in acknowledgement. Killua was looking at his purple haired friend in silence, as if waiting for something.

And something happened indeed. Hitoshi suddenly froze, eyes wide, "Wait- holy shit I did it. Wait-" before he could ramble more, Killua burst into a fit of laughter, "Oh my god you're so slow," he said in between laughs. Still dumbfounded, Hitoshi smiled to himself. "Heh, guess I am."
