"YEEEAAAH! WHAT WAS THAT SHOCKING PUNCH?! AND IT'S NONE OTHER THAN HITOSHI SHINSO FROM GENERAL STUDIES DEPARTMENT!," the energetic teacher's voice boomed throughout the stadium. Cheers erupted for the insomniac boy, but Yamada figured something just didn't add up. "Wait, what is Shinso's quirk?" he wondered aloud, and was answered by Aizawa. "Hitoshi Shinso's quirk has nothing to do with strength. He is strong now purely because of his training from a hero course student," Aizawa said, not mentioning Killua's name. The pale haired teen made a mental note to thank his teacher later. Did he know Killua wanted to stay on the down low? Or was it just to hide his existence as much as possible? Knowing that Killua came from seemingly nowhere, it would make sense.

Their daze didn't last long, as Killua ran and grabbed Hitoshi's arm, running fast. More zero pointers  came to block everyone else's path, "Good job, Hito. Todoroki and Bakugou are up ahead, we need to catch up," he said, grinning at his purple haired friend. "Wh- What happened? How did it.." the purple haired teen trailed off, trying to keep up with his pale haired friend's speed. Obviously, Killua didn't run like he usually did nenless for assassinations, Hitoshi wouldn't be able to catch up. And no way was he gonna drag Hitoshi again, he needed Hitoshi to stand out as much as possible, impressing people to get him into the hero course.

The two came to a halt as they were faced with a new obstacle, a huge pit with a few chunks of dirt sticking up from inside it, a piece of rope connecting all of them, seemingly until the end. The two could see both Bakugou and Todoroki not far away from the other end of the pit, running in the direction everyone was supposed to be going. Hitoshi and KIllua exchanged knowing looks, and both boys leapt into the sky, landing on the pillar. Tough Hitoshi ended up landing on the rope near the pillar, almost falling when Killua quickly grabbed him by the arm and yanked him up quickly, making it seem that Hitoshi had landed on the pillar to the spectators. The two jumped from pillar to pillar, with no more close calls for a certain purple haired teen, thankfully.

Killua and Hitoshi spent no time to waste after the pit obstacle, charging forwards, trying to catch up to the two other hero course students. Right as the hero and general studies students started running towards the two students ahead of them, They could see many others arriving at the pit obstacle. Killua caught sight of a Mei, and the support gear on her waist, which looked like maneuvering gear. "Pick up the pace," the pale haired teen said to his friend, who indeed did speed up, Killua subtly pushing him forwards at times.

The two teens caught up to see none other than the last obstacle, a minefield. Bakugou and Todoroki were being cautious, and quite a few other students were starting to catch up with them. This wasn't a good sign. Hitoshi started to step on the minefield slowly, shaking each step. The pale haired teen, however, didn't mimic his friend's actions. He stood still in front of the mine, activating his en. He knows he told himself not to use nen at all, but some situations needed it. Besides, en won't make him too flashy and all, so it would be okay, or so the ex-assassin hopes.

His en was activated, and Killua had a rough idea of where all the bombs were. He walked up to Hitoshi, and whispered, "I'll whisper the directions, trust me on this one." Confused, Hitoshi nodded, trusting his friend. "I'll explode one of them, we'll use the smoke as our cover. I'll drag you along, and when the smoke clears I'll push you to the front."

"Dude, what? How do you know? and I can't take your credit, man. What kind of friend am I to do that? I'm not that low you kno-" Again, before he could finish, Killua jumped on a bomb from teh minefield, pink smoke engulfing the sight of him and Hitoshi. Before the purple haired teen could even register what was going on, he was suddenly around the same distance from the finish line as Todoroki and Bakugou, who were seemingly fighting each other. Hitoshi blinked. "Go left," Killua suddenly whispered from behind him. Nodding along, Hitoshi stepped to the left, and walked forward, not seeming to be as cautious as he was a few seconds prior.

Suddenly, a huge explosion came from around the back of the minefield, creating a huge puff of pink smoke rising to the atmosphere. Killua was able to see a figure, wait no- that's Midoriya! he was using some kind of metal plate to propel himself forward using the impact of the explosion. While the others were squinting to see what was going on, Killua hurriedly whispered-yelled to his purple haired friend's ear, "Hurry on, forward! There's no mined forward, just run to the finish line!"

Without question, Hitoshi dashed forward, along with Killua. However, before the two could cross the finish line, Midoriya seemed to have pushed both Bakugou and Todoroki back ad he was landing, creating yet another force to propel himself forwards. Midoriya dashed out the finish line, Hitoshi in pursuit, and Killua right behind him. The crowd erupted in cheers, as a greeting and congratulation to the first three winners of the obstacle course: Midoriya, Shinso, and Killua.

"... We- We really did it," Hitoshi said, eyes wide in disbelief, earning a snort from his younger friend. "Pfft- yeah right, say that again when you win the whole thing," he said, grinning and shooting Hitoshi a thumbs up. "I don't know if I can actually do that," Hitoshi said, "but if I learned anything, its to never question you," he chuckled.

"Damn right"

After a while, everyone emerged from the obstacle course, and the results for the first round of the sports festival was broadcasted on the huge screen. Multiple cheers and groans were heard, and from what the pale haired teen heard, Bakugou was not pleased with placing fifth, especially loosing to Midoriya. Killua wasn't in this world for very long, but he'd have to be denser than even his green haired friend back in his own world to not see the tension between the two. Something definitely happened between them, but it wasn't like Killua to pry. Most of the time, anyway.

The next competition for the UA sports festival was very dramatically announced by none other than Midnight, the cavalry battle. The rules were simple, in teams of 3 - 4 people, there is one rider and 2/3 carriers. The rider wears a headband worth points based on how high or low they placed in the obstacle course. Steal headbands, get more points. Loose them, and loose points. Simple. Yet, every participant knew this wasn't as easy as it sounds.

Everyone was left to their own accord, grouping themselves based on power, efficiency, friendship, and other factors. Killua and Hitoshi were sure to team up, but the two still needed one (or two) more teammates. "I could brainwash someone to join us," Hitoshi whispered to his pale haired friend, who shook his head at the idea. "Though it wouldn't be a terrible idea, you need to save as much power as you can for the finals. We'll already need to use your powers just in case someone almost takes the headband. Besides, if they somehow snap out of it, things'll become messy." Killua said, voicing his thoughts. He observed everyone in the stadium, Mei teamed up with Midoriya and Uraraka, so they couldn't team up. "We both have pretty weak presences," Hitoshi started, "how about we stay low for the most part, snatching headbands quietly and quickly?"

Killua nodded at the idea. "Sounds good. So we look for someone else with a low presence, and we're good to go." Killua nodded to himself. "I know the perfect person, wait for me here." Killua said, running off. Again, Hitoshi didn't question his pale haired friend, it was probably one of his classmates, anyway.

It is. Killua approached seemingly floating clothes and tapped her shoulder. "Eek! Oh, Killua. What's up? Hagakure asked. "Do you have a team?" the pale haired boy asked. "Nope, not yet. I don't really know anyone who would want me in their team.." she trailed off. "Well, now you do. Wanna join me?" Killua asked, earning a nod from the invisible girl. "Sweet! Follow me"

Killua navigated Hagakure through the crowd, walking up to Hitoshi. "Hey Hito, got ourselves a third member," Killua grinned. "U-Uh, hi! I'm Hagakure," the invisible girl introduced herself, and Hitoshi nodded in acknowledgement. "Hey. I'm Shinso," he said, smiling a bit.

"ALRIGHT TIME'S UP!" Midnight's voice boomed throughout the stadium, "I hope you all have your teams, because things are about to get messy!" she said, flicking her whip. "Let the fun begin in three!" Every team's rider mounted the carriers, as Killua and Hitoshi helped Hagakure up their shoulders, effectively creating their little cavalry formation. "TWO!" the tension in the stadium grew each passing second. "ONE, BEGIN!" Midnight declared with another flick of her whip.

Everyone directly charged at Midoriya's team, aiming for the 10 million point headband on Midoriya's head. Things are about to get exciting.
