Creation Of Ignorance

Angel sat on her bed motionlessly, while her mind wondered through tunnels and caves. The Salvatore boys had been her a while now. They hadn't had the courage to come speak to her, and that made the blonde feel sick with disgust. She had never viewed them as cowards. Not much had changed; Elena was still with Stefan, the Salvatore brothers were still confused as of how Angel was alive, Jeremy was still angry, and Angel was still Angel. She supposed that some things had become more interesting. Damon had stripped away his emotionless mask of complete hate for everything. Angel had noticed how the blue-eyed vampire would shoot glances towards her sister, but she wouldn't describe them as looks of longing, more like looks of curiosity; he, of course, was still searching for his lovely Katherine. Elena had gained Damon's interest, and Damon had gained Elena's. Angel's lips lifted up into a smirk as she remembered the sly glances the doppelgänger sent the raven-haired man, Elena was obviously attracted to him, and Stefan showed no ignorance towards Elena's feelings. That part was a bit confusing for Angel; She knew Stefan was sad, but he wasn't crushed, which was what she expected him to be. She never felt the emotions of rejection and heart-break leak from his aura, only feelings of hurt. She shook her head. She had no time to dwell over how others felt, she had done that many times before and had been bitten in the ass, due to making that mistake, over and over again.

"What the fuck," Angel hissed, as she bit her lip, drawing blood. Her hands raced up to clutch her aching head. Tangling her fingers in her hair, she huffed, while yanking the curled locks. "Ohhh," she laughed dryly, "sissy dearest figured out the secrets of the night! How absolutely divine!" A callous grin lit up her features, as she continued to pull at her locks. Her cold eyes flashed open at the sound of panicked footsteps rushing up the stairs.

"Elena! Please, let us explain," Stefan pleaded, desperation lacing his tone.

Angel scoffed at their whining.

"Leave me alone! Go away," Elena yelled in a choked voice.

"Blah, blah, blah, blah," Angel mocked, rolling her eyes at the dramatic fight.

"Well, we could," Damon snarkily replied, "but we were invited in, so.." The blonde could tell that he was taking great pleasure in his brother's begging and her sister's distress. She couldn't blame him, it was some-what amusing.

All amusment washed away, when the door of her bedroom burst open and her brunette twin stormed in, followed by the two Salvatores. A brow raised, while a frown fell on her lips. "Please, come in," she muttered sarcastically.

"Why, thank you." Damon grinned, while flinging himself down on her bed beside her. She shot him a snide smile in response.

"Angel, tell them to leave," Elena demanded.

"What?"

"Tell them to leave!"

"Didn't you already do that," the blonde lazily questioned.

"They didn't listen."

"And they would listen to me?"

Elena's eyes narrowed, "well, you all are such good friends."

"Oh, sweetie, no. That's not true, they bore me." Angel nodded her head, while smiling sweetly at the frowning brunette.

"Elena," Stefan interrupted, "can we please talk about this? I know us being vampires is a lot to take in, but -"

"Stefan," Elena hissed, while shooting the uncaring girl, who was trying to shove a snickering vampire off her bed, a panicked glance.

"Angel knows," Stefan sighed.

The doppelgänger's doe-eyes widened in betrayal. "You knew, and you didn't tell me," she breathed.

Angel huffed, while crossing her arms and glaring at the smirking, blue-eyed immortal, who made a dramatic display of making himself comfortable on her bed. "Knew what? Of their 'condition'? Yeah, it was pretty damn obvious. Why would I tell you, though?"

"Because I'm your sister!"

"It wasn't my secret. Besides, would you have told me?"

"Yes," Elena snapped, while her eyes turned glossy.

"No, you wouldn't," Angel chuckled bleakly.

Elena sighed. "You're not scared?"

Angel pursed her lips, as she felt hurt slip off of Stefan. "No."

"But you are, aren't you," Damon declared, before flasing his fangs and veined-eyes, "Boo."

Angel rolled her eyes, when her sister gasped and stumbled behind a glaring Stefan.

"WHAT THE HELL!"

All sets of eyes darted towards the gaping teen standing in the doorway.

"Shit," Jeremy muttered, before clumsily staggering away from the group, and sprinting to his room.

"Oh, God," Elena groaned, running her hands over her face.

"Nice going, dipshit," Angel stated monotonously.

"Okay," the brunette sighed. "We can fix this, all of this! Stefan, you said vampires can compel people."

He nodded, while his brows furrowed.

"Can you..Can you compel Jeremy to forget."

Angel's head snapped in her sister's direction, while her eyes gleamed with distaste. "That's pathetic," she said in a flat voice.

"Angel! You're supposed to be on my side," Elena cried indignantly.

"No, not really," Angel denied.

"I'm just trying to protect him," Elena whispered.

"But you're not protecting him, you would be leaving the poor boy in complete ignorance. Stefan and Damon are not the only vampires out there, you need to quit trying to fix shit and grow up. Deal with it, and don't hide it. He knows, so go talk to him."

"Why do I have to talk to him," Elena mumbled, while gazing down.

"I, honestly, don't care that much about what you do or don't do. You're the one who has to deal with the consequences."

"You're right," Elena announced.

"I know," the blonde agreed, "take Stefan with you, it will be easier to explain. I would hurry; if you don't get there fast enough, he may be too stoned to even speak properly."

"But," Elena began.

"Both of you, get the fuck out of my room."

"What about Damon," Stefan asked, his eyes narrowing at his brother, who smiled innocently.

"Don't worry about him," Angel shrugged.

"It's not him I'm worried about," he admitted.

"Go with you're girlfriend, Salvatore. She's in real need of your support," she responded coldly.  He frowned at her, but left.

"So," Damon smirked, "finally giving into the temptation of my sexiness."

Angel smirked at him, while her eyes remained sickeningly dull. "I know where Katherine is," she whispered in a smooth, cold tone.

She inwardly cringed, as his eyes lit up, before they dimmed once again.

"I know where she is," he grumbled.

A hollow smirk stretched against her lips again, before she looked directly into his icy eyes. "I know how to get them out," she sang quietly. His head snapped up, as hope radiated off of him. He never cared about any of the others that rotted away below the church, but if she could get them out, then she could get Katherine out.

"How?"

"It's going to cost you."

He looked at her in disbelief. "She's your sister!"

"Was my sister," Angel shrugged, "it's still going to cost you."

"Are you serious?"

"Do you want to open the tomb, or not?"

"..what do you want," he asked.

"A favor."

"A favor? That's it?"

"Yes, that's it. All you will owe is a favor to me, and I will help you access the tomb. Do we have a deal?" She held out her hand.

"How do you know I won't break it," he asked slyly, while shaking her hand.

"Because you won't break a promise to me."

They both knew she was right.

"Goodbye, Salvatore."

"Goodbye, Angel."

As the raven-haired man left, Angel sighed. She knew Katerina better than anyone else, so she was fully aware that the said girl was not down in the tomb, but she needed that favor from Damon. Now, she never lied, she did know where Trina was, and she could get the trapped blood-suckers out of their prison. It wasn't her fault the Salvatore was so high on the thought of love, that he was blind to context. The release of the tomb vampires would also speed up the process of Elena turning. Why fight the inevitable? She hummed, while releasing a fleeting smile

"Oh, the beautiful destruction love causes..how wonderful."
