Maliki's pov.

Stepping onto solid ground, I take a deep breath, and regret it immediately.

"Gah! What the fuck is this air quality?" I ask, gagging.

"This place is full of crime, pollution and self entitled assholes. The perfect city to make an impact on. Let's go find a nice forest to call home, shall we?" Slenda asks.

"What do you mean? Forest?" I ask.

"Yes, dear. Let us go find a nice secluded place to make the gate." Slenda said, walking away.

The girls and I followed.

"What gate?" I ask.

"A gate from here to the mansion, of course. Do you think the mansion is a real place in this world, or but a dimension I control? It is the latter. As soon as we head out into the forest, I will be able to place a gateway to the mansion, and you will be able to see the others." Slenda said.

Tami and Jess grabbed my hands, and walked close to me. We explore for a few hours and get a good grasp on the area, before heading into the forest and finding a nice area to stop.

"This seems like a good spot to stop, I will make the gate, don't you think?" Slenda asks.

"G-good p-place." Tami said, agreeing with Slenda.

"I like the area. The air is much better here." Jane says, leaning against a tree.

"I hate California... but I hate my mother more. Let's do it." I say, looking back to the way we came.

I turned back to see Slenda with a book in her hands. She waved her hand and fog began to appear. Fog filled the air surrounding is and it became almost impossible to see. Slenda grabbed me and pulled me out of the fog and the mansion appeared through it.

"We're home." She says, as the Tami and Jane walk through the fog and towards the mansion.

"So... if we could've just gone back to the mansion... why did Jane and Tami come along?" I ask.

"W-we wanted t-to s-spend time with y-you." Tami explains, before she pulls me towards and inside the mansion.

"Why are you pulling me?" I as as she pulls me upstairs.

"I h-have a gift f-f-for ya!" She shouts as she pulls me into her room and shuts the door.

Tami flipped around me and shoved me into the door with an odd expression.

"D-did ya m-mean it, Malik-ki?" She asked, getting super close to me.

"Mean what?" I ask in confusion.

"Y-you told Slenda t-that y-you love us... is it true?" She asked, inching closer ever so slightly.

I looked to the ground in embarrassment. I did mean it, but I didn't want it to be known to everyone. I didn't want to scare them away. I couldn't lie to them, however.

"Yes." I said, hanging my head low.

After a few seconds passed, Tami grabbed my chin and kissed my lips.

"I love y-you too." She said, smiling.

I sighed in relief.

"I was beginning to think you thought I was some type of perv." I say, smiling.

"Don't b-be ridic-culous." Tami said, giggling.

"Do y-you want to h-hang out w-with me and Eyeless Jackie today?" Tami asks while blushing.

"I'd love to." I say, grabbing her shoulder and looking in her extremely beautiful eyes.

She blushed hard and looked to the side, hiding her embarrassment.

Knocking came from Tami's door.

"C-come in!" She shouted, walking towards the door.

It opens and Eyeless Jackie stepped into the room. She walked up and handed me a piece of paper. I looked down at it and unfolded it. There was a drawing of a heart.

"Thank you.. it means a lot." I say, folding it back up.

"Can we... spend some time together?" EJ asks.

"Of course, but I want to grab some stuff first." I say, tucking the drawing into my pocket.

I left the room and opened my door, and walked to my desk. I threw away the wrappers to some snacks I had and pulled my drawer out, grabbing my notebook and some pencils. I dropped them all into a bag and swung it over my shoulder. Taking the drawing, I unfolded it and pulled a few thumbtacks from the drawer and stuck the drawing on the wall. I stepped out of the room and closed the door, and felt someone grabbing my hand. I turned and saw EJ nuzzle my arm with her mask.

We leave the house and explore the area of Los Angeles. I check my watch and see that it's 3:30 PM.

"We have tons of time. Where should we go?" I ask.

"I wanna s-see t-the boardw-walk." Tami says excitedly.

"Where do you want to go, Jackie?" I ask.

"Anywhere you go." She answered.

"The pier it is." I say, pulling out my phone to get directions.

We start walking to the Santa Monica Pier, and make it by 4:30. Walking down the boardwalk, It's full of disgusting, disturbing teens and adults wearing almost nothing. It seems me and my girls are attracting attention.

"We're here, Tami. Anything you wanted to see?" I ask.

"Y-you." She giggles.

"Besides that." I say, looking at all the different stores along the walk.

"W-well... I c-could u-use a bite. C-can we get f-food?" She asks.

"Sure." I say, taking a look around for somewhere to go.

Many choices. Many decisions.

"What are we in the mood for?" I ask.

"Burger." Tami says, gazing at a food truck.

We walk over and stand in line. There's a group of teenagers standing in front of us making jokes and laughing. I looked at the menu and felt for my wallet. It was missing.

"Shit. My wallet's gone." I say, feeling my pockets.

"I can pay." EJ said, handing me her wallet.

I heard a snicker from the group in front of us, but I ignored it, taking EJ's wallet and making a mental note to pay her back as soon as we get home.

"That dude needs his girl to pay for his food." One dude laughed, along with his friends.

I again, chose to ignore him.

"Cheap broke ass." Another joked.

I made a passing glance as one walked up to me and got into my face.

"What's up, little man?" He says, mocking the fact that I was only two inches shorter than him.

I look up at him.

"Hey, girls. Why don't you come with us? I'll pay for your food unlike this broke bitch." He said, pushing me back slightly.

"N-no." Tami said.

"Oh... nevermind. One has a creepy mask and the other one's retarded." He says before turning around.

Tami looks to the ground and rubs her eye. I wrap my arms around her and kiss her on The cheek, making her feel better. I hesitantly separated our hug and looked towards the man, who was slapping his chest with his wrist and making groans. I walked up to him and got in his face.

"Do it again and I'll make sure you can't." I said, shoving him backwards.

His friends surrounded me, but I couldn't give a shit. I knew that this man was going to die soon, and that I was going to kill him he shoved me back and got into my face.

"You girl. Is a stupid. Fucking. Reta-

I grabbed his throat and slammed him against the food truck with a loud bang. I threw him away from his friends and punched anyone else in my way. As he stood up, I push kicked him towards the rail. Walking over, I grab him by his arm and snap it, before throwing him over the railing. He let out a satisfying screech as he dropped into the ocean below. I turned to the mans friends. They looked scared and confused. I took a step towards them and they ran off. I stepped up to Tami and wrapped my arm around her. She nuzzled into my shoulder and hugged me back.

"I'm not gonna let anyone talk to you like that. You or Jackie or anyone else at the mansion." I say, before kissing the two.

I handed EJ's wallet back to her and turned to walk up to the food truck.

"Wait. You said you didn't bring your wallet." EJ said in confusion.

"I know. I took his." I say, holding up a wallet.

I opened it up and counted the bills.

"3,4,5,6... 82. Six hundred eighty two dollars." I say, turning back to the girls.

The two looked happy, and we ordered the food. Three large cheeseburgers and three large fries. Topped off with two large strawberry shakes and a chocolate shake. We sat and ate on a bench.
