Your feet drags on the pavement as you try to reach the bus stop. You hear vehicles passing by each second, you see your shadow on the concrete as the building and street lights shone over you.

Different people pass by your sides, some bumping with your shoulders but nothing seemed to bother you. Not even the fact that the sun already set. You were lost. You were so lost in thoughts, in the echoes of voices inside your head.

It keeps ringing, his voice, his words. It keeps flashing, the window that displayed the orange sky, the silent staircase and his smile. You silently sit down on the bench underneath the shed of the bus stop.

Your mind goes in twirls but still ends up in a blank. Like the emptiness that is filling you up right now amidst the noise on the street. But everything goes down to one thing: you didn't want to go home. Not yet. Not with your lost state.

You looked at the bus that's about to stop infront of you. You looked at its number then realized that you missed the bus to your house. In the end, you still got on the bus.

You sat beside the window and the almost empty bus still feels stuffy. Eyes set outside, everything feels like its in a fastforward as the people, the buildings became a blur as you pass by them. Where do you go now?

You cant go home because this isn't the ride home and you wont go home because you dont want to. You turned on your phone and immediately thought of Wendy.

Maybe you could crash at her place, since she doesn't live with her parents and she's all alone in her flat. You got out of the bus when you saw her street, you walk up to that building that contains more several flats like hers. You went up to her door but stopped when you saw the door slightly opened.

You push it with one finger slowly, not wanting to make a sound when you noticed a guy's shoes at the doorstep.

"I dont kiss liars, Wendy." You heard a familiar voice.

Your brows furrowed at what the guy said. What the heck is happening inside?

"I was never taught how to lie." You heard Wendy's feminine voice, and you swore you could almost hear her smirk.

Then there was silence, a thump on the floor and a sloppy sucking sound. You quickly took a step back, your hand flew to your mouth. You can't go barge in there after hearing those so you head down and dragged yourself again to the bus stop.

You dialed Jimin's number and hoped he didn't brought home a chick in his home tonight or else you'll have to go home whether you like it or not.

You dialed it twice before he answered.

"Hey." You said.

"Hey, what's up?" You heard shuffling in his background.

"Im sorry, am I disturbing you?" You bit your lip as you kick on the pavement.

"What? No. What's wrong?"

"Can I...Can I crash at your place for tonight?" You asked with hesitance as you see the bus to his house.

"What? Of course, I'll just clean for a sec. Did you already tell your mom?" You could hear his worry even through the phone.

"I haven't. I'll just message her when I get there." You asked as you step in the bus.

"Im sorry, I just need someone to get these things out of my head." You sighed as you look out the window.

"Anytime, babe." He hummed.

The black and white themed house came in your view the moment you step out of the bus. You reach for the doorbell and waited for Park Jimin to open the door.

Jimin had his black hair disheveled and body clad in a white and blue striped pajamas. He opened his door with a worried look.

"Park Jimin, I think I just had my heart broken." You smiled sadly.

Jimin's plump lips part, he opened his door widely and your lips quiver, your eyes starts to get blurry. You rub your lid with your hand and chuckled but soon stopped and replaced with a shaky breath. The embarassment bubbles deep down, from your feet to the tips of your hair. The words Jungkook said echoes in your head and buried a knife deep down to your fragile heart.

You sniff then threw your arms at Jimin. Your best friend almost lost his balance as he accept you in his arms, wrapping it on your back and patting it gently.

Burying your face at the crook of his neck, "I did it." You mumbled.

"What did you do? Let's go inside, okay?" He said as he try to walk you both to the living room, one hand pushing the door close.

You pulled away from the hug and looked at Jimin with red nose, he sat you on his white couch and he sat parallel to you.

"What happened?"

"I told him that I like him." You said, you couldn't dare to look at him in the eyes out of embarassment.

"And?" His face seems to be expecting a lot.

"He...he doesn't. He told me that he's already in a relationship." Your voice breaks and your eyes starts to water again.

"What?" Jimin pulled you into a hug, your face on his chest and his small hands run through your hair.

"I dont know what happened, Jimin. I thought, I thought that he likes me. I never saw him with other girls. And Im so embarrassed, if I had known that I only assumed everything, I wouldn't have told him. It hurts." You sniff, tears rolling down your cheeks, hands clutching to his white and blue striped pajama.

"Shh, Im sorry. Its partly my fault. I shouldn't have pushed you to do it. I―Im really stupid at calculating things." He said as if he's in pain, you felt him put his chin on top of your head.

You shook your head, "Its not your fault. I did it, its all on me but where did everything go wrong? Everything was going well then another minute, he's in a relationship?" You pulled away and wiped your cheeks with your hands.

"Does Wendy know about this? Did you tell her?" He reaches for the box of tissue in the center table infront of you and pulled a couple of tissue paper then he gave it to you.

You shook your head, "I went to her house but she was with someone, probably her boyfriend or something."

"What? Wendy doesn't have a boyfriend." His pitch rise, and you wonder if he's even a boy with that pitch.

You try to blow the snot that stuffed your nose, you saw Jimin scrunch his nose as he watch you.

"That bitch." He muttured before doing something in his phone.

"Blonde, you better get your ass here right now and leave that dick." Jimin growled as he put his phone beside his ear.

You shook your head to stop him but he avoided your gaze.

You saw his brows furrowed, "Bitch, just be here in five or I will dye your hair hot pink."

You could hear Wendy's voice faintly complaining about Jimin being a disturbance to her night and how spoiled he is.

"Oh, and buy some ice cream along the way. Bye, blonde." Jimin smirked and ended the call.

"Why don't you change and borrow my clothes before Wendy gets here?" Jimin smiled and ruffled your hair.

Now changed into Jimin's white shirt and gray sweatpants, you slump yourself on his couch. Knees bended and head resting on it, you stare blankly at albums in a rack not too far away from you while Jimin wandered in his kitchen.

You glance on your phone on the center table then to the small black rectangular thing beside it. Then his name pops in your head and you had to close your eyes when you remembered how he smiled and that orange skies again outside the window and the words that echoes in your head until now but its just enough to feed your curiousity.

How the hell is he in a relationship? You thought. Because clearly, he was all too sweet in the beach and you never saw him talk to any girls but you then he's telling you that he's in a relationship? He can't just magic a girl and become his girlfriend overnight.

How is he in a relationship if you never saw him dating anyone? Perhaps, he's just making it all up? But for what? What would that benefit him?

Jimin came in the living room with a box in hand that smells of pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and slightly burnt dough. He placed it on the table and sighed. Several knocks on his door told the person outside was pretty impatient and annoyed.

Jimin walk up to it and opened it, you instantly heard Wendy's voice.

"What the heck are you thinking, shorty? Ruining my night just to have me get you ice cream? Really? You're so annoying." Wendy groaned and you could almost imagine her rolling her eyes at Jimin.

"And how did you even know that I have someone at my place?" Her voice curls that would probably piss off several guys.

"Y/n's here. And she told me." Jimin had his relaxed but bored voice.

"What?" Wendy said and you watch Jimin get pushed aside the doorway then a Wendy in a babypink oversized shirt and a white shorts barge in the house.

"Hi." You awkwardly say to her as you smile.

"What is this chaos? Y/n, you never told me there's a sleepover going on here?" She said as she place a platic bag on the table with a tub of ice cream in it.

"I just crashed in here." You chuckled.

"I thought you were going home at your house, not in shorty's. What happened and why does Jimin look so worried?" She asked, plopping herself next to you.

"Well, I kinda did something stupid and it kinda stings and I didn't want to go home." You bit your lip.

"Why didn't you just crash in mine?" She asked, confused.

"I actually tried to but you were pretty preoccupied not being a liar and you know, those kind of things?"

"You heard us?" Wendy's eyes widened and you see her face getting flushed.

Jimin walked in with spoons in his hands, "Bitch, move. Give my pretty butt a space to sit in."

Wendy huffed but still moved to your other side. "What really is happening here and you had to call me over?"

"She told Jungkook that she likes him and dick said he's in a relationship." Jimin explained, swinging his spoon in the air as he roll his eyes, one tiny hand trying to open the tub of ice cream.

Wendy stopped taking a pizza from the box, "What? You told him?"

You nodded and there's that heavy feeling inside your chess that makes you want to bury your face into your pillow and just hide your face with it forever and you did, "I know its kinda stupid but I... I thought he kinda felt the same too."

"I mean, he did things that other guys don't normally did with girls and there's the signals but... he said he's already in a relationship. It stings, you know? And Im so embarrassed right now." You tried to laugh it off but you can't deny the fact that your heart is hurting.

"She cried." Jimin tried to whisper but failed miserably.

You felt Wendy's delicate hands tap on your shoulder, "My friend, you are experiencing your first heartbreak. Dont worry, we'll protect you at all cost."

You pulled away from the pillow and you saw her smiling at you. "Here." She hands you a piece of pizza.

"Pretty sure you'll be fine after you eat this." Jimin said then you saw him holding a spoon full of ice cream and darts it towards your mouth.

You laughed as you took it in, a warmth filled your heart and your eyes starts to water again. You watched Wendy and Jimin argue whether you three would watch a chick flick or an action movie but ended up watching horror movies.

You slip in the Journalist's room, your red converse tried to be silent as possible as you make your way to your table. You gather your things and tried to put them in your bag.

"You know that you look stupid with what you're doing, right?"

You jolt, hand flying to your chest to clutch it, you felt like your soul left your body as your sleepiness from last night's movie marathon with Wendy and Jimin flew out of the window. You turn around slowly and saw Yoongi standing behind you with both hands in his pockets.

He tilted his head, "What are you doing?"

"Getting my things?" You replied.

"Why?"

"Because I'll be here less often? But don't worry, I'll still submit my articles to you via email." You tried to assure him as you continue to drop things inside your bag.

"What is happening to the world? Is it apocalypse or something? Everybody tryna leave this room. Should I leave too?" You heard Yoongi as he walk back to his table. "Maybe not, its comfortable here."

You followed him then stopped beside his desk, "Who's tryna leave this room?"

"Kook? He messaged me earlier that he woouln't be around often." He said as he sat on his swivel chair and made himself comfortable, eyes soon closing.

You froze. Jungkook's not going here often anymore? Is he avoiding you? Like what you're planning to do right now? Is it because of yesterday?

"Forget it, Yoongi. I'll still hang in here like the usual." You took back your words and put your things on your table again.

"Suit yourself." Yoongi shrugged but you didn't dare answer him as your mind fly with thoughts about him.

Why did he suddenly say that to Yoongi if it wasn't because of you?

Your phone rang and saw Wendy's name on the screen, you answered it and looked over at Yoongi who's dozing off not too far away from you.

"Babe, where are you?" Wendy asked and you heard Jimin's laugh and a series of hand slamming on a table and incoherent words.

"Uh, in the Journalist's room?"

"We're waiting for you here in the cafeteria. You have to come quickly, Jimin's turning to a bitch." She said then hissed at Jimin telling him to stop.

"Okay. I'll be there in a sec." You said as you zip your bag and walk out of the room.

"I swear Jimin if you dont stop Im gonna stick my foot into your pretty little-" your brows furrowed when the line got cut off.

You make your way to the cafeteria and quickly saw Jimin sitting with Wend and Jun in a table.

"You're telling me that we're eating with Jungkook's friend? Really, Wendy? You dont make friends with your foes. Or worst, make them as your boyfriend." You saw Jimin cross his arms against his chest as he roll his eyes.

"Will you calm your tits, shorty? This ain't Jungkook, he's a different guy." Wendy tried to defend Jun who sat silently beside her and eyes wandering on the most random things inside the cafeteria.

"Birds of the same feather flock together." Jimin drags on.

You put both of your hands on each side of his shoulder and give him a quick squeeze. "Its alright, Jimin. Im sure Jun's not the same." You smiled at him as you sit infront of Jun.

Finally, Jun settled his eyes on you and let out a smile. "Thanks, Y/n."

You glance at your plate, "Oh, its salad... and lasagna, great." You beamed at Jimin that gave your head a ruffle and returned a smile but soon replaced by a scowl.

"You look like an angry kitten with that look, shorty, stop it." Wendy groaned.

"How, blonde? I can smell a stinky dick." Jimin hissed and you almost choke on your food.

You saw a grim look on Jimin's face and you tried to see what he's looking at and your breathing stopped when you saw him, Jeon Jungkook, sitting on a table all alone and wearing his usual black shirt.

You remembered it again, the orange skies and the staircase. Then the smile and his words. You gazed on your food and Wendy stopped talking.

"What did really happen? Why are you so angry at me? What did Jungkook do?" You heard Jun asked with an awkward voice.

You turn your gaze at him, you saw Wendy's hand on his arms. Jimin pursed his lips and Wendy looked at you as if asking you if you'll tell Jun about it.

You tilted your head, no, you wont tell him. But he might know something, afterall he's a friend of Jeon Jungkook.

"Jeon Jungkook told me that he's in a relationship but I never saw him with other girls or even date anyone...is he perhaps, making it all up?" Your fingers played with each other as you looked at Jun, a bit hopeful.

His brows furrowed then slowly, he shook his head. "No. He's not making stories, Lee Ara just didn't want to make it public. You know, everything about them. Why are you asking? Is that why Jimin is angry? Wait, are you gay for my friend?"

As if on cue, a girl stepped in the cafeteria and headed towards Jungkook who was sitting all by himself. Your lips part as you recognize the girl. She was the girl from the volleyball team.

You swallowed after remembering what you read about her background for the article you're writing.

"Watch your words, dickhead or I will shove a spoon in your mouth." You heard Jimin scowl but you couldn't care less as you feel your heart ripping into pieces while watching Jeon Jungkook smile at another girl.

Lee Ara. A senior from another class. The perfect girl in this cruel world. She was the silver lining. From her black hair that is flawlessly curled at its tips, her eyes round and long lashes curved at its finest, narrow and pointed nose, her red plump lips, her perfect body that resembled an hourglass to her extremely high grades and talents.

She was everything that every man could ever ask for. And Jeon Jungkook wasn't an exception.

"She's like an angel beside him." You whispered as you felt your eyes sting and lips tremble.
