"I just came back to Korea and now you want me to go somewhere for you?" You said as you held your phone beside your ear.

Your straightened hair was cut above your shoulder, making you look more professional and mature. Your white fitted spaghetti strap was topped with a beige coat and you wore a beige square pants paired with a white pointed heels.

"I promised someone that I'll be there but I couldn't make it since I have some meetings to attend to." Park Jimin's voice squeaked at the end of the line. You can hear the stress in his voice that made you smile.

"Okay. I got it. You have to pay me back since this is the first thing you made me do after being away for six years." You smirk as you hail a cab on the side walk.

You heard him sigh and then his thank you came in series. You chuckled as you get in the cab. "Just send me the address."

"Already did." He said before he cut off the line.

You told the driver to take you to Busan. You watch the buildings as you pass by them. It's been so long since you left, a lot changed. The built more buildings and the city became brighter than it did before. You sat up straight when you saw the bus stop where you used to wait in your high school years.

The memories that once hurt you came to your mind. You can almost see yourself sitting there alone, staring at the blank space as you let the pain sink in from your first rejection after confessing your feelings.

The next building you saw is your school. The school looked more successful than ever, they had several renovations and built more buildings to facilitate more students that wants to study there. You smile as the bittersweet memories feels like yesterday. You can almost touch it, you can almost feel its rawness.

You imagined your naive self roaming around the vicinity of your school. The love and pain your carried was almost surreal. You can almost smell your pure self. The one you left here.

But you can almost see the boy you once love too. The image of him will never be erased from your memories because he taught you many things. And you wouldn't be like this if it weren't for him.

You studied linguistics and literature at Sydney and became one of the most famous international writer. You became successful and it was all because of him.

It wasn't easy at first. You were adjusting with your new life then and you were also trying to mend your heart but you managed. You had cried everynight to ease your pain and you studied like it was the last time everyday. After flying to Australia, you completely cut ties with everyone that hurt you including him. You never heard any news from him after that, almost because Jimin brought him up once then.

The cab pulled in front of a building where a lot of people went in. You gave him your payment and got out of the cab. You look up at the building before walking up to its entrance.

Murmurs of people are heard even in the entrance, like what they are seeing is so amazing and interesting. You walk in and the title of the event welcomed you.

Lost Angel Exhibition by Jeon Jungkook.

You stopped when you read that name. Are you in the right place? You pulled your phone and read what Jimin sent you an hour ago. Your lips part as you imagined Jimin's face smiling widely at what he had done.

Is he even serious? Why did he sent you here?

You turn to the way where you came from and held your breath. It's okay, it's okay. You're only doing this for Jimin. Curse that guy. You messaged someone to pick you up before taking a deep breath.

You turn back and continued to walk in. You couldn't help but to feel your cheeks heat up as you look at the pictures that was hanged on every corner of this building. You can see yourself everywhere.

You stop walking when your eyes locked with someone. He stopped walking too, two meters away from you. It's like you're in a movie and someone paused the scene but everyone else can still move and continue on their lives while you were stuck there.

His beauty never fades and it never fails to amaze you. He wore a black coat and a black undershirt, he looked too formal. His wavy hair was straightened and showed the center of his forehead. There he is before your eyes, in flesh. The boy you loved. Everything felt so familiar but the feelings.

He is the boy you loved but at the same time, he wasn't. Time passed and the remnants of your Jeon Jungkook already faded. After being in silence for seconds, he tried to break it.

"You're here..." he trailed off.

You smiled at him for the first time after years that you haven't seen him. "I am."

His eyes were locked on yours. He just did that. Stared in to your eyes. To yours. Like memorizing every bit of your face. Like you'd disappear any moment. Then he blinked fast.

He looked away and run his eyes on the pictures hanging around every corner of this building. "I'm sorry, I should've told you that I'll use your pictures here." He bit his lips.

"It's okay. These pictures, these were the ones you took a long time ago." You said as you made your eyes wander around.

You saw familiar pictures, one where you're looking at a waitress, one where you were sipping your drink, and one where you were looking at the camera blankly with the beach as your background.

"You saw them?" His eyes found yours again.

You nodded. "I saw it before I left." You said.

"And you came back." He said like he couldn't believe what he's seeing right now.

"I did. This is my home, I can't leave forever."

He took a step forward then a desperate look flashed in his face after so many years. "Look, I know its been years but I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for everything."

You smiled at him. "Are you really sorry for everything? Even for our good memories?" You raised your brow, trying to make everything lighter.

"No. I'm sorry for the pain that I put you through. I didn't mean any of it, I wanted to tell you everything but I knew you weren't going to let me in anymore, so I just hoped that Jimin would tell you everything."

"He did. He told me everything, Jungkook. You don't have to say sorry anymore. He actually sent me here. You know, he's trying to act all Cupid now." You chuckled.

"Oh, but are you...still single?" He looked uneasy.

You smiled at him. "No." You said softly.

And even if both of your hearts are free, you both know that you can never be together.

"I'm...actually engaged." You said as you look down on the ring on your finger.

You felt your phone vibrate on your pocket, you pulled it out and saw a message on the screen.

Love:

I'm almost there :)

-T.

"I'm glad you got to fulfill your dreams Jeon Jungkook. You really did well in this exhibition. I appreciate all of it." You flashed him your smile while he looked at you with eyes full of regret.

And you know why there was regret in his eyes but now, it doesn't matter.

"I have to go, Jungkook. I'd tell Jimin about our meeting." You said before you turn your back on him.

But only to glance back at him, "You did receive my note before I left, right?" You ask.

Then he cracked a sad smile, he nodded. "I did. I just didn't want to hurt you more and let it all be handled by life and destiny. I'm glad that you're happy now. Goodbye, Y/n."

You stare once again at his dark eyes that always held the galaxy. "Goodbye, Jeon Jungkook."

You walk out of the building, you glance at every picture you pass by, savoring every bit of feeling it brought you. Jeon Jungkook was your first love and your love for him will always remain, its just that you love him but you are not in love with him. And you don't think that will go away anytime soon because you know what they say, first love never dies.

You stood at the very top of the stairs of the exhibition, looking at the blue sky while remembering the call you received from Jimin a couple years ago.

"Jeon Jungkook has been trying to reach me for the past months. He talked to me earlier." Jimin sat in front of the camera of his laptop wearing a white robe.

You glance at the closed door of the bathroom where Taehyung is, the shower was on. Its been three years since you left and this was the first time he brought this up. Your brows furrowed.

"I know I shouldn't talk about this because you're finally happy with Taehyung but I feel like if I don't tell you this, everything will just go to waste and you'll continue living blind from the truth." You saw how hard it is for him to tell you everything.

You're already in a relationship with Taehyung and it's going steady for a year now but you really appreciate what Jimin is doing. You've moved on but you left without a closure so maybe you deserve this. To know the truth and set your old self from the dark.

"Jeon Jungkook loves you. Since your sophomore year. And he's still waiting for you and that you only misunderstood everything." He said.

You smiled at him. "I know. But I just didn't understand why he didn't show up at the time where I waited for him to explain his side."

Jimin sighed. "He said he'll be waiting for you to come home." He said, not knowing the answer to your question.

Jeon Jungkook taught you a lot of things, one of the greatest lesson he taught you was to gamble with life and risk everything, you learned how to be brave. It's just so sad that when it was one of the greatest lesson he brought to your life, he never had the guts to do it. He never had the guts to gamble.

And maybe he's filled with regrets right now but you will always hope for the day he'll risk everything, not for you but to someone that's destined for him.
