Ban was sitting on a chair glancing at the pair. He felt confused.

Seeing the expression of Ban, Sally laugh and present the blushing Sophia in front of him.

Ban stare at Sophia for a few good seconds and widened his eyes in surprise. His heart skip a beat. He was silent and didn't say anything observing his cousin waiting to hear what she has to say.

The redden face Sophia evaded Ban's gaze but she muttered in a very low voice "I-I-I.. I l-l-like y-you c-cousin." Her chest feels like bursting out at the moment. She cover her blushing face and peek at Ban expectantly.

Sally was surprised. She didn't think this Little Sis of her confessed in a situation like this. She praise her bravery as she knew Sophia was very shy and introverted. She smiled and hug her making Sophia bury her face in Sally's bossom. She look at Ban smirking waiting for his reply.

Sophia on the other hand is worrying for Ban's next reply. She want to run to her own room at the very moment to hide her embarrassment but she grit her teeth and stayed. There was an impulse on her to confess all of a sudden. Maybe because she won't stay in this house in the future or she just follow the whispering in her heart.

Ban was speechless for a second and said silently "I- Ahem.. Are you sure you like me cousin? I mean Sophia. You know.. I always treat you as my sister. Maybe you are confused right now-" He didn't finish as Sally explain everything on Sophia's stead.

Sally rolled her eyes and said "Allow me." She clear her throat and continued "Little Sis likes you now and even before you guys were still a child. She or maybe I also like the way you are right now. The way you look, the way you acts, being independent and so on but we also love the you taking care of us, worry about us and protect us."

Sally smiled gently "We also do care, worry and protect you because we love you. Even if you are ill, poorly dress, snotty brat, don't take bath even once for a year, we don't mind because we love you." She lighten up the mood for Ban. Sally want Ban know that he is the perfect man for them. Sally already started to love Ban little by little and she like the most of him was that he was very possessive of her in a good way. She feel the domineering and selfish him these past few days she was with him. Even though that night was a mistake, she gradually accepted him as days went by. Sally don't mind having Sophia as Ban's woman as long as Ban fill her heart with love and care she needed and that matter the most of her.

Ban twitch his lips hearing Sally's remark "Hey. I am not snotty and never will and that will not- no, will never gonna happen. Also what nonsense was with that not having taking bath once on a year? I took a bath twice a day you know." Rolling his eyes but he felt warm inside. After a while, he smile at the two gently. He also knew that this cousin of his was very shy on a conversation. He always protected her when they were child. She was once.. no, always got tricked by her peers. She was always bullied, pestered, harassed, goaded and even forced by them since his cousin was a beauty in the past and even more now. Ban was always there protecting her even if he got beaten badly, he will force his skinny and bloodied body to stand firm shielding her at his back. Maybe that time when he got a girlfriend back then he slowly drifted himself away from her. He realized that mistake now that he remembered. He only treated her as a Little Sister but there is also deep inside him that he would falter if she bloom a smile at him. Her innocent face makes him want to protect her forever.

Ban jolted from his dazing and slowly approach Sophia who was still blushing but peek at him with an expectant clear eyes. Seeing her small gesture like this, Ban knew that Sophia meant her words earlier. He didn't plan to chat further and as talking was not Sophia's forte especially in this kind of situation.

Ban slowly and gently while smilingly pull Sophia into his arms making the latter yelp in surprise. She widened her brightened eyes, blush furiously, a slowly small curve appear on her mouth like she felt like she was in heaven. He breath her name into her ears "Sophia." He kiss her forehead and continued "You know that being with me, I won't let you get away from me. Forever. Because I am very, very.." He didn't continue and look at Sally, expecting her to finish his words.

Sally plainly said without any expression "Perverted." She control her urge to laugh and continued "Very, very, very hopeless pervert." Her expression was so serious like she was telling a matter of fact. She even raise her chin up like she was thinking and nodding agreeing to her own thought.

Ban twich his face nonstop. He squint his eyes signalling her 'I will punish you later. Very, very perverted eh? Heh. I will let you experience the menace of this pervert then.' expression.

Sophia on the other hand, visibly shivered in his embrace upon hearing Sally's claim. She also knew and witnessed Ban's might in that aspect. She felt scared somehow but also redden her face what will happen in the future.

Ban carress Sophia's hair and said coughing "Very selfish. Ahem! Anyways.. Since you will be my woman from today henceforth, we shall call ourselves by our name. When the time comes, I will tell your parents about our relationship." He wipe the invisible sweat glaring at Sally who was blushing on the side. He exclaim on his mind 'Are you backstabbing your husband right now!? This is awkward.'

Sophia nod with a daze on Ban's embrace. She felt everything was surreal.

The silence break when the Little Girl Judith came ran out from the room and shouted in a cute voice "I am thirsty! Mommy, water please! Eh? What happen to Big Sis? Your face was so red. Mama! Is Big Sis caught a cold?" She look confused at the moment.

Sally smiled at her daughter and carry the Little Girl to her embrace "No, your Big Sis is just happy to see us came home." She prepare her a glass of water.

Ban and Sophia let go from the hug.

Ban cough and said "Let's eat dinner now. The dishes were getting cold." He smile at Sophia and led her to the table.

Sally rolled her eyes. She said in her mind 'The dish still at the stove for the slow cook. What cold are you talking about?' she held her words fearing his revenge later. She also obediently sat on the chair with her daughter to eat.

Ban prepare the dishes and all of them happily ate together.

After the sumptuous dinner, Ban call for Sophia's parents. He promise to go with Sophia tomorrow for his uncle's discharge.

Ban also chat to Sophia in low voice on the sofa while watching the television. The latter's blush never left her face from the start. They were chatting casually to let Sophia open more to Ban, but it was nigh impossible because she was too embarrassed at the moment as she was only nodding and shaking her head as a reply. Ban shook his head and patted her on the head giving her the time to adjust herself.

Meanwhile, Ban notice that the report on the television was familiar. There was a serious homicide case today at the precinct. He notice the victims were at a certain cell of convict. 3 policemen died at the scene that was on duty and 3 convicts of that cell also died. Those victims had a hole on there chest and their hearts were missing. One thing was familiar to him was that those 3 convicts were the ones that kidnap Sophia a few days ago. He felt that something was up in this news. A black clothed person went in and out after a few minutes from the cctv footage. The guy's movement was very fast that only a shadow was caught at the camera.

Ban felt a foreboding inside as he glance at Sophia. He already conclude that the man might find her for revenge. He recall the words that the man he killed at that time as he connected this guy on the news to him.

He decided for a second and stood up slowly. He knew Sophia never went out of this house so she was safe for now but the danger will fall on her sooner or later. He gave a thought and decided to survey the surroundings later outside to check if the man was nearby especially the place where Sophia was kidnapped.

Ban carrress Sophia's head gently and look while smiling at Sally nearby. He said "I'll go to my room first to rest. You guys continue to watch the TV." He look again at Sophia and continued "We'll go to uncle tomorrow at the hospital so you should rest early."

Sophia nodded obediently and smiled.

Ban didn't forget to wink sneakily at Sally making the latter blush at the hint. He also kiss the forehead of the little girl before heading back to his room. After closng the door, he mutter with a serious face

"Looks like I need to kill another pest tonight.
