Elena wakes up early and gets ready to go to the bakery. Lynn picks her up with her car.
"You look gorgeous!" said Lynn.
"Thanks. So do you."

They leave and pick up Justin.
"You look...amazing." he said to Lynn.
"Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself." she said, smiling.
"Thanks. You look great too, Elena."
She nodded. "Thanks."
They head to the bakery.

Elena then switches to the van so that everything stays cold.

She returns and sees the two of them talking.
"Hate to interrupt, but I think we should get going."
They nod.
Elena smiles and they get into the van.

They arrive at the venue. Justin and Lynn carry the goods around the back entrance to the kitchen.
Elena locks the van and they come back to walk in at the main entrance.
"Let's go." he said.
"I'll be right there."
"Okay." said Lynn.

Neil arrives and he sees Justin and Lynn.
"Where is Elena?"
"She'll be here in a moment." said Justin.
"You're going to faint." whispered Lynn.
Neil smiles.
"I'll see you guys inside."
Justin and Lynn hook arms as they walk in.
They stop. They were alone.

"What's up?" said Justin. He could tell something was off.
"I am sorry." said Lynn.
"For what?"
"I have feelings for you, Justin."
Justin raised his eyebrows, shocked.
"You don't have to say anything, but I thought you should know."
He pulls her closer and kisses her. He then pulls away. "I feel the same." They press foreheads together and then walk hand in hand to their seats.
Neil watches as it all unfolded.
He then sees Elena.

He is shocked. He exhales.
"Wow. Lynn was right. I might faint."
Elena smiled.
"You look beautiful." he said, pulling her in for a kiss.
"Thanks" she said, as she pulled away.
She then whispered. "You look really handsome."
He smiled.
"Shall we?" he said, extending his arm.
She nods and takes his arm and they walk to their seats.
As they walk, Elena looks at Lynn and Justin and sees them smiling and holding hands.
"Are they.... Did they..." she asked Neil, quietly.
He nods. "She confessed just a few minutes ago."
"Finally." she whispered.
"Even I could see the chemistry between them." said Neil.

She nods. "Anyone could."

The ceremony starts and throughout it, she can tell from the corner if her eye that Neil is staring at her. She blushes, quite a few times.

It ends and Elena goes to congratulate Amber and Luke.
"I am so happy for you!" she said, hugging Amber.
"Elena. Thanks and thanks so much for the cupcakes and confectioneries."
"It's a pleasure. I was surprised when Justin told me we're not making a cake. When I found out it was for the two of you, I thought: Of course! Amber always does things that are a little out of the ordinary."
Amber laughs. "Well, I love them. I got a peek earlier."
"They look stunning. You did a fantastic job." said Luke.
"Thanks. You should thank them." she said, calling Justin and Lynn.
"Justin, thanks. I really appreciate it." Luke said, doing a handshake with him.
"Anything for my bud."
Amber turns to Neil. "And you're Elena's date, I assume."
Elena's eyes widened.
"Sorry. Amber, this is my boyfriend, Neil Melendez. Neil, this is Amber Lee. Well, now, Amber Hayes."
"Still Dr. Lee, though. It's nice to meet you." said Amber, extending her hand.
He shakes it.
"It's nice to meet you too. And congratulations."
She smiled. "Thanks."
"Elena, you've found yourself a fine man." she whispered.
Elena blushed. "I know, right. And he's is a surgeon."
"What? You're a doctor too?" she asked, surprised.
Neil laughs. "Yeah."
"Specialty?"
"Cardiothoracic."

"Ooh. Fascinating and interesting choice. What do you...."
Luke interrupts.
"Amber, babe. I know you're excited but don't interrogate the poor guy now."
"Oops. My bad. Sorry. I am just so excited for the two of you."
She turns to Elena. "Well, I guess I will catch you guys later? Neil, once again, lovely to meet you."
He nods. "Likewise and congratulations, once again." He then shakes hands with Luke. 

Elena turns back to him.
"She's nice." he said.
"Yeah, and also quite expressive and forward sometimes."
Neil laughed.
"Sounds like someone I know well."
Elena gasps, nudging him.
He pretends it hurts and then laughs.

They make their way to the reception area.
Everyone seems in awe. With all the lights and centrepieces at each table, glittering.
Everyone takes their seats and watches as the couple does their first dance.

Neil and Elena chat up a storm and Elena introduces him to some of her friends from med school. When they talk, Neil's arm is always around Elena's chair. She feels like running her fingers through his hair, but decides not to, especially since she is with all her friends.

They eventually sit, quietly alone at their table. "Your friends. They are quite funny."
She laughs. "Well, I am glad you like them."
Amber calls her. "Come dance!" she said to Elena and Neil.
"I think I'm good here, Amber."
Amber pulls her and Neil laughs.
"I'll be back." she mouths.
He nods and watches as she dances.

"Neil?" a voice called.
