You had been avoiding Jimin for a couple of days now. After what happened that night when Allyson left, you didn't have the courage to face Jimin again. You hadn't told anyone about what happened, not even Soomi or Miori. Your main reason being you didn't want any of the other girls to eavesdrop and then go snitch on you, specifically to Celeste. You knew she'd be out for blood if she ever found out.

Today Yoongi and Hoseok had come for a visit again. You were downstairs in the living room, minding your own business and not disturbing the guests like Clarisse had asked, when Hoseok came into the room.

"(Y/n)! A pleasant surprise," he said happily, practically skipping over to you and sitting down beside you on the couch. He leaned over to peek at the book you were currently holding.

"Whatcha reading?" he asked. You glanced over at Hoseok, placing a bookmark in to keep your spot, and closed the book while handing it over to him. He turned it over to read the title.

"Romeo and Juliet?" he asked while raising a brow at the book. You shrugged your shoulders and leaned on the couch's armrest.

"I found it on the shelf and decided to read it. Although I was never really a fan of old Bill Shakespeare's stuff. Too hard to understand," you replied. Hoseok simply laughed before chucking the book on the coffee table.

"I'm just surprised Jimin even has the book. He wasn't a fan of that stuff either, probably still isn't," he said before turning his body to face you, legs brought up on the couch underneath him. "Why are you down here alone? Shouldn't you be hanging out with your friends?"

Your eyes flickered around for a moment before you scooted closer to Hoseok. You didn't really see the harm in telling him what happened. After all, it's not like he was trying to win Jimin's heart over or anything like that.

"Actually...can you keep a secret?" you started hesitantly. Hoseok nodded eagerly and leaned his head closer.

"Okay, so Jimin and I...we had, I guess you could call it, a moment. In his room after Allyson had left. He brought me there and at a certain point I practically threw myself onto him. I didn't realize at first, but I did later on. We were both kinda just staring at each other and my heart felt like it would burst through my chest. Nothing more than that happened though; I left right after, before Jimin kissed my hand," you explained.

Hoseok stared at you silently for a few moments before jumping in his seat excitedly, scaring the living daylights out of you.

"Holy free holy! That's great! Wait, was he nervous or anything? Did he try to make a move? Did he say anything?" Hoseok bombarded you with questions, reminding you of a girl who's life revolves around gossip. You shushed him quickly, noticing he was gradually getting louder by the second, and luckily he listened and calmed himself down.

"I'm not sure if he was nervous, I couldn't really tell. I thought I might've seen him blush but I'm not too sure. He didn't really say or do anything. Although right before I left, it seemed like he had wanted to say something but instead just stuck with the kiss," you answered. Hoseok let out a happy hum and started fanning his eyes dramatically.

"Jiminie is growing up," he said softly.

"You can't talk about it here okay? You're the only other person that knows this. I can't risk the other girls finding out or else they'll have my head on a platter," you told him seriously.

"Don't worry, my lips are sealed. I know where you're coming from though. You can't let the other girls know, who knows what they might do," Hoseok replied.

Before you could say anything else on the matter, Yoongi entered the room and crossed it to sit on the couch opposite to you and Hoseok.

"Done with work?" Hoseok asked him. The shorter man nodded before leaning back into the couch, slumping over lazily on the cushions.

"Not much worth reporting on. Aside from Emrick turning a bunch of people suddenly. I think we should keep an eye on the guy, he's a weirdo. At this rate the world will be overflowing with middle class vampires," Yoongi grumbled. "Or more dirt-blooded, depending on if his middle class followers turn people too."

"How would more dirt-blooded vampires arise from the middle classes ones? Do they fall to that level if they're bad or something?" you asked.

"Your class depends on who you were turned by. The only way to be a pure-blood is if both your parents are, and your will mom give birth to you. If a pure-blood turns a human, they are a middle class vampire. Pure-bloods don't have the power to create more of their kind through a human, it has to be with another pure-blood. If a middle class turns a human, they become a dirt-blood.

"Basically it all comes down to how much of your blood is from a pure-blood, you see? Two pure-bloods make another one, a pure-blood and a human make a middle class because the human's contaminated blood lowers the power of the pure blood, and a middle class and human make a dirt-blood because there isn't a lot of pure blood to pass on," Hoseok explained to you. You frowned at hearing this.

"So isn't it unfair to treat the dirt-bloods badly then? It's not like it's their fault they're one. Why are they shunned by the higher classes?" you questioned.

"Pure blood plays a big part in all of this, as you can tell. It gives vampires more strength, more powers, but also more resistance. This being towards threats, such as the sun for example, and also temptation.

"You probably know this but pure-bloods naturally have a lot more control compared to other vampires. This is thanks to the special blood. For dirt-bloods, who don't have a lot of this pure blood, they fall into temptation easily and cause problems for not only the vampires but also the humans. They give into the blood lust and let the power consume them. So us shunning and caging them is a good thing; they are disgraceful to the vampire kind and also harmful to humankind. If they were let free to do as they please, there probably wouldn't be any humans left," Hoseok answered.

"Yeah, you know most people see us as these dangerous blood-sucking creatures, which we can be, but we're actually protecting them most of the time. If only they knew that," Yoongi said from his spot. "I mean I don't really care much about what they think but others do, so there's that."

"Also another thing to add, middle classes know the threat in turning a human. Yet some of them still do it anyways, whether it be because they want to or they're convinced by the human. They don't actually have to do it though, pure-bloods have the responsibility to turn humans if a middle class asks them too. So if a human really wants to become a vampire but they only know a middle class they can get the middle class to take them to a pure-blood to be turned. Some people are just too impatient and stick with a middle class though," Hoseok added.

"So if I were to be turned by a middle class, that would happen to me? I'd be locked up and shunned? I'd lose control?" You asked. Hoseok laughed lightly and patted you on the shoulder.

"To answer you, yes you would be. But you have nothing to fear; Jimin would never allow you to be turned by a middle class, maybe not even turned at all," he said reassuringly. Yoongi hummed in agreement.

"Jimin takes the safety of his offerers pretty seriously. Probably more than any other vampire I know. You're lucky to be with him," Yoongi said. Of course he would, Jimin's an angel after all.

"Speaking of Jimin though, is there something wrong with him? He was acting a little different today, seemed like he was out of it," Yoongi added.

Your head shot up to look at the shorter man, feeling a sense of worry overcome you. It was quickly replaced with displeasure as you immediately thought that he might not have had blood recently.

"Ah, maybe that's because he and—," Hoseok never finished what he was saying because he was caught off guard by you standing up from the couch suddenly.

You marched out of the room and down the hall, making your way to the kitchen. You went over to one of the drawers and yanked it open, digging around for a knife. When you found a small one you took it out and gave yourself a cut on your wrist, not too deep but enough to draw a little blood for temptation. Then you threw the knife in the sink and raced out of the kitchen, up the stairs, and towards Jimin's office, all the while cupping a hand under you wrist so the blood won't leave a trail.

You got to Jimin's office and slammed the door open, causing the man inside to jump in his seat and let out a gasp. He looked relieved for a second after seeing it was you but that quickly changed when you raised your wrist to let him see your wound.

"Oh my God (Y/n)—," he exclaimed while standing up, but you cut him off by stalking over to him and shoving your wrist in his face.

"Drink please," you ordered. Jimin had a bewildered look on his face and was looking at you as if you had told him you were actually a man.

"(Y/n) w-what are you doing? You shouldn't hurt yourself like this," Jimin said in a concerned tone while walking around his desk to stand in front of you. He began to pull a handkerchief out of his pocket put you stopped his wrist from grabbing yours, instead lifting your injured arm once more.

"Just drink please," you pleaded. Jimin looked very worried and slightly confused.

"I need you to drink, I'm not going to let you starve yourself again," you told him. Jimin looked even more confused and tilted his head in a questioning way.

"Why would I be starving myself?" he asked.

"Yoongi said you were acting differently, like you were out of it. I assumed it was because you hadn't had any blood in awhile so I came here to feed you," you told him. Jimin sighed out and moved to wrap up your wrist but you held it away from him.

"I'm not starving (Y/n) don't worry. I've just been thinking about stuff and it's clouding my mind. That's probably why Yoongi says I'm acting different," he said. "Can I look at your wrist now?"

You shook your head, forcing another sigh from Jimin.

"Can...can you still drink from me? I want you to," you said in a quiet voice while avoiding eye contact. You felt somewhat shameful for some reason, even though what you were doing wasn't a bad thing. You wanted Jimin to be healthy, and you were simply doing your job too.

Jimin hesitated for a bit, probably thinking it over in his head. He finally reached down to gently grab your wrist and bring it up. He looked at the cut closely before flicking his eyes over to you.

"If you really want me to I will. But I don't want you to do this if you're uncomfortable or if you're feeling forced," he said. Oh you were quite comfortable with this so you nodded you head rapidly, lifting your wrist up slightly to prove your point.

Jimin brought your wrist up to his mouth and opened it, allowing his lips to ghost over your skin before he bit into you. Just like the first time, it hurt, the pain not lessening at all from last time. The only difference this time is that you knew what to expect. You were able to control the tears of pain this time and you bit your lips to distract yourself, staring out the window too so that you were looking at something other than Jimin biting you.

It wasn't long before you could tell Jimin was about to stop, he wasn't sucking the blood as quickly and instead it was leaving your body at a slower pace. Probably because, unlike last time, he wasn't starving and didn't need a whole lot. Before he was able to stop, the office door was pushed open to hit the wall.

Jimin pulled away at the speed of light, lips parted as he panted and covered with blood. The both of you stared over at the intruders that had given you two heart attacks.

"Umm were we interrupting something here, or?" Hoseok asked in an unsure tone, looking a little awkward and uncomfortable. Yoongi, however, was staring at you guys with a blank expression, as if the scene didn't bug him one bit.

"It's okay, I was just finishing anyways," Jimin replied while pulling his handkerchief up to wipe his mouth. He folded it over afterwards and gave it to you to cover up your wrist.

"(Y/n) was worrying about me because of you," Jimin said while staring at Yoongi.

"Why are you looking at me as if it's my fault? I only said you were acting weird, she's the one that left at the speed of light when hearing this," Yoongi argued defensively.

"Well we'll just leave you two now. Actually we'll probably head out while we're at it, since our business here is done. See you later Jimin," Hoseok said, dismissing himself and Yoongi. You waved at the two men shyly before they left, closing the door behind them.

You looked over at Jimin to see him staring down at your wrist intently. His eyes flickered up to yours and when realizing that you were watching him he licked his lips nervously.

"Do you want more?" you offered. Jimin groaned and walked over to the windows by his desk.

"Y'know vampires are dangerous right? You shouldn't be offering me more blood like you're a buffet," he murmured. You tied the handkerchief around your wrist tightly before walking over to the window to stand beside him.

"Firstly, I know I can trust you. You don't need to include yourself with all the other dangerous ones. Secondly, Yoongi actually mentioned that vampires sorta protect humans in a way: by keeping the dirt-bloods under control. So you don't need to try and convince me that all vampires are one-hundred percent monsters," you replied. Jimin turned to face you with a slight pout on his lips.

"Still doesn't mean that we aren't a threat. It might seem like they're helping humans but that could just as easily be seen as vampires keeping their source of food alive. Without humans we'll die off, so we kinda have to protect them," Jimin countered. You frowned and reached your hands up, cupping his face to stare into his eyes deeply.

"Fine, vampires are bad. Whatever. But that doesn't necessarily mean you are. I trust you wholeheartedly and know you aren't bad Jimin. You don't need to try to make yourself seem like an enemy. And you do realize I offered you more blood because I know you, right? It doesn't mean I'm gonna start going out and giving my blood away to random strangers like I'm a blood bank. I wanted to give you some because...," you had wanted to say because you like him, but you wondered if that would sound too weird.

"Because it's your job," Jimin finished for you. Your frown deepened and you removed your hands from his face, choosing to cross your arms across your chest.

"No. I am aware it's my job to do this, but that wasn't the reason at all," you retorted. You averted your eyes to stare at the ground while clenching your arms tightly and trying to stop your palms from sweating.

"I...I care about you and I don't want you to cause yourself unnecessary pain. So if you need blood I will willingly give you mine."

You decided to glance up at Jimin after a few moments of silence to see him staring at you with an incredulous expression. You swallowed nervously and scratched at your head awkwardly.

"I should go. See you later Jimin," you said before quickly excusing yourself from the room. As you walked down the hallway, you had a strange pain in your chest and you couldn't understand why.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You hadn't said much at dinner. Lucky for you Miori and Soomi were good at reading you and didn't force you to talk about it, which you were thankful for. You still felt upset and hurt and didn't really feel like engaging in conversation, so they let you eat silently as they chatted about meaningless things.
Despite the fact that you had only been eating the other girls all finished before you and left you to sit alone at the table. You only had a small amount of food left on your plate, stuff you couldn't finish, that was quite cold at this point. You picked your plate up and brought it to the kitchen to wrap up and put in the fridge; you'd rather eat it tomorrow than waste it.
You walked out of the kitchen and out to the hall, ready to head up to the dorms and maybe go to bed early for once. But you ran into Jimin who was coming down the hallway too, most likely coming from his dining room after drinking something.
"Ah, hello (Y/n)," he greeted. You nodded in response and tried to give him a small smile but it probably didn't look too real.
"I wanted to talk about what happened earlier today," he started.
"Oh yeah, sorry about that. What I said was kinda weird so if it made you uncomfortable I apologize for that. It might've made things awkward for us," you said quickly, hoping he'll just agree and drop the subject.
"Actually I wanted—," he began but was cut off by his phone that had started ringing. He looked irritated and it seemed like he was thinking of ignoring it.
"You should pick it up, it may be important," you urged. Jimin reluctantly pulled the device from his pocket and brought it to his ear, answering the call.
He couldn't even say anything before a frantic voice was heard on the other side of the line. The voice was so loud it was as if Jimin had his phone on speaker mode.
"Jimin, thank God you picked up!" you could tell it was Seokjin who was calling.
"Yeah, so what's wrong?" Jimin replied.
"Oh God, Jimin, it's bad. We have a problem. We need you over right this second. Everyone else is already here so just hurry and come fast—," Seokjin was rambling on and Jimin finally decided to cut in.
"Okay slow down. I can come but why do you need me?" Jimin asked in a calm voice. Seokjin let out a shaky breath before speaking, as if trying to calm himself.
"It's Jungkook, Jimin. He was attacked."
