A few uneventful days passed and here you were in the nurse's room. Not because another girl attacked you; just for a check up on your condition because of what happened a few days back. After the girl was sent away, Clarisse took you down here just to make sure there wasn't too much damage done. At the time, there was only some swelling and aches and it was predicted you would be okay. Now it looked like you had gotten sucker punched by a man rather than a girl.

Your face had a nasty bruise on the left side which was painful to sleep on. You could see, from the corner of your eye, the swelling in your cheek too. Your stomach also wasn't feeling or looking too hot either, but that wasn't as visible compared to your face. You knew that every time Celeste passed by it was taking all her willpower not to burst out laughing. Miori and Soomi on the other hand always winced, probably imagining how you must feel.

"I really don't understand how it got this bad. Were you pressing on it or something?" Clarisse asked as she was inspecting the mark. You weren't an idiot; no way would you touch and press on the painful cheek.

"No of course not. But I might've rolled on it while I was sleeping. I tend to move around," you answered, hissing when Clarisse presses lightly. She retracted her hand and looked at you pitifully.

"I'm sorry this had to happen to you, it must be hell," she murmured. You shrugged your shoulders.

"Could've been worse."

"Very true. I'm going to give you some painkiller that you can take. I suggest you take them in the morning, afternoon, and right before you go to bed but you can do whatever you want. Come to me if you need anything else alright?" Clarisse instructed. She probably doesn't realize that you were being serious about how it could've been worse; you could've gotten stabbed instead.

"Thank you so much. See you around," you waved goodbye and exited the room, making your way for the stairs to go up to the dorms.

Before you could think of climbing them you noticed two unfamiliar men standing near the front door, they seemed to have just entered the house. One was tall with grayish-green hair and the other was shorter with black hair. Both of them, unsurprisingly, were extremely attractive. And again, you felt like you had seen them before. The men noticed you and the one with black hair gave you a blank stare while the other covered his mouth.

"Wow, you look rough," the shorter man stated. You pressed your lips into a thin line.

"Well that's one way to greet someone," you responded.

"Are you alright?" the taller man asked while moving his hand to caress his own cheek, as if he was somehow hurt by seeing your battle wound.

"Well I could be better, but I think I'll be alright thank you," you replied with a slight smile. At least one of them seemed to care.

"Good, you guys made it. I was starting to wonder if you would come," Jimin's voice sounded from the top of the stairs. He began descending quickly to meet with the men.

"Do you abuse your offerers now?" the black-haired male asked while pointing over to you. The taller nudged his elbow into the man as if telling him to be quiet. Jimin's eyes drifted to you and widened considerably, shock evident in them.

"(Y/n) are you okay?! Last time I saw you the bruise wasn't that bad,"  he walked over to you speedily and began inspecting your cheek closely. Your breath hitched slightly from his closeness and you cleared your throat quietly.

"I'll be okay, Clarisse gave me painkillers. It really looks worse than it is, you don't need to worry," you reassured him while placing a hand on his forearm comfortingly.

"Did she get hurt by another girl?" the tall man asked. Jimin turned to him and nodded.

"She's gone now though," he replied. Jimin straightened up suddenly and brought you forward to the other men.

"These are two of my friends, like Taehyung," Jimin said while gesturing to them. The tall one smiled so big you could see dimples in his cheeks.

"I'm Kim Namjoon, you can call me Namjoon. It's nice to meet you (Y/n)," he introduced.

"I'm Min Yoongi, but the others sometimes call me Suga," Yoongi introduced and waved lazily. You bowed your head slightly at the men.

"I'm (Y/n), it's nice to meet you two," you said.

"If you guys don't mind, could you wait for a few more minutes? I just wanted to talk with (Y/n) about something," Jimin asked. Namjoon nodded his head but Yoongi didn't show any signs of whether he cared or not. Jimin gestured to the front door and you quickly grabbed a coat before following him outside. He led you out to the front yard before turning to you.

"I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to talk to you since the night of the party, I've been a little busy with work," he apologized.

"Oh don't worry, I understand," you replied and shook your head.

"Do you mind if I ask how you got hurt? I heard about it briefly from Clarisse but I wanted to know the specific details," Jimin asked hesitantly. "If you don't want to you don't have to though," he added quickly. You sighed at the memory.

"I was caught entering the dorms the next morning and was questioned about my whereabouts. I told them the truth and one of the girls suddenly charged at me and attacked me. So I ended up with a knee to the gut and a punch to the face," you explained, leaving out a few of the details. You didn't want to risk exposing Celeste and having her slit your throat with a knife before she was kicked out herself.

"She kneed you too?" he asked worriedly.

"Yeah but it's not as bad as my face," you replied. Jimin looked extremely guilty.

"I'm so sorry. If I had known that this would happen I would have been more careful about taking you out to the party," he said sadly. You reached out your hand and held his, making him look up at you.

"Don't blame yourself like you tried to do last time I was hurt. This isn't your fault. You gave me the choice and I chose to go. And I knew that something like this might happen, so if anyone's to blame it's me," you told him firmly. Jimin smiled at you and held your hand tightly.

"Tha—," he began.

"(Y/n)!" Clarisse's frightened voice cut in. You whipped your head around to see her charging towards you. She stopped in front of you and Jimin and took a deep bow.

"I am so sorry about interrupting the conversation Mr. Park," she panted out, her chest quickly rising and falling. She looked to Jimin with fearful eyes.

"There is a man outside the gates demanding to come and speak with (Y/n), he's threatening everyone out there," she informed. You glanced at Jimin and saw him giving you a questioning look.

"I think I know who it could be, but I'm not sure if it's right," you said quietly. The first person you could think of it being would be Merric. But you wondered how the hell he would know where you were in the first place. It could also be your dad, but that was even less likely; that man hardly gave a crap about you.

"Let him in," Jimin ordered. Clarisse nodded and pulled out a little walkie talkie.

"Open the gates," she said into the device. You looked over to the gates that were quite a distance away. You were nervous, scared and worried. You felt an arm place itself on your shoulder, stopping your body that had begun to shake unknowingly to you.

"Are you okay?" he whispered. You nodded and looked back over to the gates. You could eventually make out a small figure of a person running over to you. The figure was approaching at a fairly rapid speed and you felt yourself growing even more anxious. How could someone move that fast if they were a human? The person was much closer already but you still couldn't quite see who it was. Jimin's hand tightened on your shoulder.

"(Y/n)," he said in a warning tone. Your eyes flew to his direction and stared at the side of his face. He was looking ahead with a hard look in his eyes and an intimidating aura was oozing off of him.

"That's a werewolf."

You felt your blood freeze and your throat went dry. You couldn't breath for a second and you inhaled deeply before your eyes flew back to the approaching stranger. Your breaths came out fast and shallow, and the feeling of wanting to flee was filling you up. But suddenly the figure was much clearer and you could make out the person. That made you feel even worse then before.

"Merric...?" you uttered out, confusion laced in your voice.

How was that possible? He hadn't told you or given off the impression that he could be one at all. Unless maybe, just maybe, he recently became one? You highly doubted, but you really didn't want to believe that your best friend had lied to you about what he was.

Merric stopped a good 20 feet away from you, looking at you with disappointment and betrayal.

"So this is the friend you're staying with? The one you met up with at the pub? Or maybe you'll make up a completely different lie instead," Merric spat angrily.

"Merric listen to me—," you tried to speak.

"Why? How can I trust you?" he demanded. You narrowed your eyes at him and crossed your arms.

"And how can I trust you?" you shot back. Merric raised his eyebrows.

"When were you planning on telling me that you are a werewolf?" you asked while taking a few steps closer to him. His eyes widened slightly but then narrowed down again.

"Why am I obliged to tell you that?"

"Probably because we've been friends for years Merric! It's what they do!" you yelled at him.

"Friends also tell each other the truth and don't lie to each other!" he screamed back.

"This is why I lied! I knew you wouldn't be happy and you probably wouldn't even let me come here in the first place!" you pointed an accusing finger at him.

"Fuck no I wouldn't let you come here!"

"You just proved my point! I'm a grown ass woman and can make my own damn decisions, so stop trying to control my life! You act worse than how my parents should be!" you screamed.

"You don't understand—," Merric began as he stepped closer to you. His eyes dropped to your cheek and he clamped his mouth shut while his eyes flashed with rage.

"How did you get that?" Merric asked while staring at the bruise. You sighed out, exasperated.

"Merric—," you started before you were cut off by Merric.

"Did you do this to her?!" he accused while staring at Jimin with pure hatred. Before you could open your mouth to explain to him, Merric's eyes began glowing yellow and he bared his teeth in a snarl.

"I'll kill you!" he roared out. You glanced to Jimin and saw him staring at Merric with an unflinching expression, his eyes dark and void of emotion.

"You need to calm down or this won't end well for you," Jimin threatened lowly.

Merric was enraged. He roared and suddenly charged for Jimin. Before you could scream out at Merric to stop, he was sent flying and landed 15 feet away on his back with a slam. In front of Jimin, Namjoon stood with narrowed eyes that were a dark colour.

"Today was a bad day to come pay Jiminie a visit, mutt," Yoongi taunted while sauntering over to stand beside Jimin, a slight smirk playing on his face.
