I can't believe An Abnormal Christmas is officially complete!

Who would ever have thought that merely pulling your sister's name from a Secret Santa hat in 2017 and deciding to write her a book would be so exciting? I hope you're happy, Meg! Since this story is specifically for you, was it a good enough gift? ;P
Love you! <3

It's been quite the journey writing this book. It has definitely had its bumps along the way but, overall, I'm proud of what I've accomplished. I mean, how many people can say that they wrote a whole book? This is literally a writing community so, to us, it seems like a lot of people can say that. But this is Wattpad. Outside of here there are a lot more people who don't write.

There is a bittersweet feeling in completing a story. You've completed something amazing. You've wrapped up the tale you created! At the same time, you're going to miss the thrill and joy in writing the book. You're going to miss brainstorming ideas and getting extremely excited about the littlest things that you knew would make your story better.

I'm proud to have finished writing this book. It was all worth it! The writers block, procrastination, brainstorming, crying and yelling (yes, I literally yelled and cried a couple of times) because I was frustrated that it didn't seem to be coming together. In the end, it did. It came together.

A huge, HUGE shoutout to every single person who contributed to this story! I would not have gotten far without all of your support! I'm talking about all of you. You readers, you voters, you commenters, you motivators, you silent readers, you friends, you critics, you haters; thank you so much for pushing me forward. You've all contributed to the progress and completion of this book and I'll never be able to fully express how much that means to me. <3

FUN FACTS ABOUT AN ABNORMAL CHRISTMAS
____________________________________

1) I was really considering killing one of the family members. When that didn't happen, I was going to kill Officer Jyles. For some reason, that didn't happen. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I think it's because I just didn't have the heart to do it. To me, it didn't fit well with the story. I mean, it could, but after putting that poor family through so much I felt that giving it a happy ending would work better. Plus, my sister wouldn't like that at all and this story was written for her. ;)

2) In chapter 9 - Christmas Tree Hunt - it was mentioned that Meghan's eye twitched when she was tired. I'm pretty sure this happens with most people, but the funny thing about it was that when I wrote that little scene, my own eye had been twitching due to lack of sleep. xD

3) In the last chapter, Santa Claus gives Carly a rat terrier puppy for Christmas. I was thinking of doing a bigger dog but one of my grandmas shows, breeds, and sells rat terriers (and it has been in the family for quite some time) so I figured I'd make it a rat terrier. <3
