No One Else Comes Close • Backstreet Boys

"And when I wake up to
The touch of your head on my shoulder
You're my dream come true, oh yeah
Girl you know I'll always treasure
Every kiss and every day I'll love you girl in

every way
And I always will, 'cause in my eyes
No one else comes close to you"

One day later

GOSSIP QUEEN BLOG
EXTRA EXTRA:

America's Princess Amora Jean just spilled all the deets about her relationship status. According to her interview with, Good Morning America, she had been keeping their relationship a secret, but now she wants the world to know about her man, Melchizedek Bailey.

We were very shocked when we found out that she was dating Melchizedek. He's known for his cold persona and ruthlessness in the business world, so it makes us wonder why America's Princess is with him...

We were sent a few pictures of the couple together before Amora outed their relationship.

This photo shows the couple walking hand in hand at the Santa Fe Botanical Garden. How sweet is that?

The same day, they were also seen eating dinner together at Luminaria in Santa Fe, we were told this was in late April.

Looks like America's Princess is into older men, and it's not like she needs a sugar daddy with all the money she makes. Maybe it's daddy issues?

Who really knows? Not me! But I'm betting that our sources are as reliable as they seem.

You live for me, and I love sharing the hottest news.
Yours truly,

ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT

"Amora Jean just told the world about her relationship with, get this, business mogul Melchizedek Bailey.

Our team was sent photo evidence from a source who remains anonymous, of Amora Jean allegedly kissing Melchizedek Bailey at the Los Altos Vineyard. Another photo was sent later that night at Amora Jean's twenty-third birthday party, as you can see, that's Amora Jean kissing Melchizedek Bailey.

Just eight months ago, Amora Jean told Delia and all the world that she'd never been in a relationship or even been kissed.

While we're not 100% sure about the finer details of their relationship, we are sure of one thing, Amora Jean has found herself a man. Good luck to you sister!

That's all for this segment and we'll see you after the commercial when we bring up a little drama about Little Mix."

Amora stared at the Gossip Queen article on her phone with her lips pursed and her eyes misted with tears. The television played Entertainment Tonight in the background.

She wasn't regretting her decision, but she wished that people would just mind their business.

The television turned off, and Mel wrapped his arms around Amora and took her phone. "Angel, I know it's hard, but I think it's best if you don't look at social media. Yes, there will be positive people, and I think it would be kind if you acknowledged them, but pay no attention to the negative people." Mel wore a slight frown as he spoke, but what he was saying was important for Amora's happiness.

Amora kissed Mel's arm and began to nibble on her bottom lip. She hated that the gossip pages were talking about her, but she knew that it was going to happen. She thanked God for Mel being with her, she wouldn't fair without him.

"You're right," Amora released her bottom lip and kissed Mel. She still had so much to say, she didn't want to be left alone, but Mel had a life outside of her.

Mel pulled away from their kiss and narrowed his eyes, but made sure not to look too harsh. He didn't want to make her think she did something wrong. But, he did know that she was keeping something from him.

"Angel, tell me what you're thinking about."

Amora shifted her eyes and she gave a shaky smile. She never knew how Mel could see right through her.

"I wanna keep you here with me. But, I don't want you to leave your business behind just to be with me. And I know that you're gonna say that work doesn't matter," The softness in Mel's eyes made Amora's heart flutter, he was so caring.

"Amora, we talked about this multiple times, and I know that you care so much about my career, and while I care about it too, you are my priority. I can bring my work wherever I go, so I'll be with you, and you won't have to worry about my business."

Amora began to cry, she hated being so emotional all the time, but she couldn't help it.

Mel closed his eyes for a moment and wiped Amora's tears as she cried. He loved his emotional angel. "I-I'm sorry for always being so emotional, but you're just so amazing. I know it may seem like nothing to you, but the things you do and say mean the world to me."

As her tears came to an end, Amora took a deep breath and grabbed Mel's hand. "Why don't we go out?" The boldness of Amora made Mel gaze at her in admiration, he was always proud of her.

"Lead the way, angel." The couple walked hand in hand around Central Park.

And while the stares and pictures being taken made Amora anxious, she knew that Mel would never let anyone hurt her.

As the couple ate at a hole-in-the-wall pizza place, Mel looked up at Amora and gave her a dimpled grin. "I love you,"

And though she tried to hide the way he affected her, she couldn't seem to diffuse the loving feeling in her heart.

With the deep love the couple felt for each other there was no doubt that they'd last forever.

Two months later

Over time, Mel kept his promise. He went everywhere with her, and they both loved it. Amora loved the idea of Mel being at her hotel after finishing a long day of work, and Mel loved the fact that he was always around to make sure that was happy.

Amora was typing away on her phone, she was planning a surprise for Mel's birthday. She took some time off to take Mel to St. Moritz, Switzerland. She took notice of how he spoke about cold weather and she decided that it would be good if they went skiing and relaxed in a new place.

She planned on telling Mel that she didn't know where her next job was specifically, but that she knew it was a Versace shoot in Eastern Europe.

She finished the itinerary and put away her phone before Mel could come out of the shower. They were at a villa in Cancun for a Gucci swimsuit ad.

"Angel, we'll head out to dinner in a few minutes, I've just got to put my shoes on."

"Well, I'm ready! I haven't eaten since this afternoon!" Amora rubbed her stomach and yawned.

Mel stood up and looked at his beautiful angel. She was always on the go with her job, but she never complained. "Let's go, angel." Mel offered his hand to Amora and she took it and swung their hands for a moment.

The couple sat at the classy restaurant, Rosa Negra Cancún. It was a five-star seafood restaurant.

"Mel, we have to go to Europe tomorrow for a week. It's a Versace shoot that I have to do, I'll be terribly busy."

Mel was actually a little upset. His birthday was in two days, and he wanted to spend it with his angel, but she would be busy.

"Great, what time are we leaving?"

Amora sensed Mel was off, but she knew that once she told him the truth he'd be fine.

"It's a really late flight, it'll take fourteen hours to get there. So by the time we get there, it'll be morning over there. Jack will be bringing us." Amora had to keep up the lie, she didn't want to, lying wasn't her forte.

They continued to eat, and Mel didn't want to bring down Amora's excitement.

The next evening the couple boarded the flight and slept the whole time.

"We have arrived in Saint Moritz, Switzerland. Your car is here to bring you to the hotel." Jack stood at the front of the plane, and Amora smiled at him and shook Mel awake.

"We're here," Mel groaned and stood. "Thank you for bringing us, Jack. You're always so sweet!" Amora's kind comment made Jack blush and walk back to the cockpit.

Mel and Amora made their way out of the warmth of the plane and were instantly hit with the frosty air. The snow was falling and the wind was blowing moderately. It was beautiful.

As the driver put away their luggage and handed them coats and gloves to keep them warm.

Mel and Amora sat in the car and Amora watched the scenery pass by with wide eyes. She had never been to Switzerland, and now she was here with Mel.

"We've arrived at the Apartments Dimlej." The driver spoke and opened Amora's door.

The mountains were a view to die for, Mel stared in awe. He loved the outdoors and mountains, and snow was something that he really enjoyed.

"This is really beautiful, isn't it Mel?" Amora wanted to tell him, happy birthday, she wanted to tell him that she wasn't here for Versace, but she had to keep it up until they went to dinner.

Mel grabbed Amora's hand and kissed it. Even though she hadn't acknowledged his birthday, he didn't mind too much. He loved being with her.

"It really is, I've always loved places like this. I wish we could spend time together exploring." It was the first time Amora heard Mel sound sad, it wasn't obvious, but she caught it.

"Me too, but how about we go to dinner? That would be fun!" Mel rolled his eyes and kissed Amora's hand.

The couple got dressed in their coats and boots and left the room.

Amora was buzzing to tell him, she just needed him to push about what she was planning on doing. She also told the wait staff that it was his birthday, so they'd come out and sing. She was excited.

"Angel, what are your plans for tomorrow?" Amora's smile had Mel curious, he knew she was up to something.

"Well, actually I lied! I just wanted to bring you somewhere special for your birthday! I love you, Mel. And you do so much for me all the time, so happy forty-eighth birthday!" Mel's face made Amora feel so genuinely happy. She finally did something to make him happy.

Mel couldn't believe it, he was so happy. "Angel, wow, thank you, baby." Amora went the extra mile to make him happy, and he thought she forgot about him.

"I love you, Mel. You do everything for me, you've given up so much for me and I just wanted to give you a special birthday." Amora leaned over the table and pressed a kiss on Mel's lips.

The couple continued to eat, the wait staff sang happy birthday, and Amora and Mel ended up walking hand in hand at a park.

"You know, you're the greatest thing that ever happened to me," Amora spoke up softly and gazed at the sky. "You're selfless, and you have such a beautiful soul. A-and even though you aren't good with your emotions, you've never once made me feel unloved. I feel so loved and cherished when I'm with you, I hope you a wonderful birthday." Amora looked around the park to avoid Mel's intense stare.

Mel's heart began to beat harder than it ever had, he felt like he should be admitted to a hospital. What he didn't know was that he was feeling overwhelmed with love.

"Thank you, angel." Mel's voice was soft and Amora pecked his cheek and began to speak about anything and everything.

Mel watched Amora as her face lit up, she was speaking so animatedly and he loved every second of it.

She was truly beautiful.

A thought came to Mel and it blew his mind. Never once in his life did he expect to have someone, but the idea of marriage was completely out of the question. But his angel gave him a new vision for his life.

He longed for her to be Amora Bailey, and soon enough he'd ask for her hand. He didn't doubt that she'd say 'yes', and the idea of her in all white made his heart clench.

A kiss from Amora's soft lips broke him out of his thought, her beautiful eyes filled with concern. "Are you alright?"

Mel gathered Amora in his arms and his dimple showed as he stared at the angel in his arms. "I'm more than alright. If you had your whole world in your arms, wouldn't you be?" Amora sighed happily and snuggled in Mel's arms.

The couple walked back to the hotel and spent the rest of their holiday in love. They both needed to relax and enjoy each other's presence.

November 27, 2019

"Mom, make sure dad doesn't say anything out of line." Amora was speaking to her mother from Fort Mill, South Carolina. The Jeans were spending Thanksgiving with Mel's parents, it was Amora's idea. She wanted everyone to get along.

She arrived in Fort Mill one day ago with Mel, she wanted to meet his parents before any possible drama happened.

"I'll make sure, sweetheart. Anyway, how was meeting the parents? Were they kind?" Arianne was glad that Amora had a man like Mel, but she knew nothing about his parents.

"Oh, they were wonderful! They're so kind and gentle. Very soft-spoken people." Mel's parents were the sweetest people she'd met, they were in their seventies, but they looked and acted younger.

"That's wonderful, sweetie. I'm not gonna hold you, we'll see you tomorrow morning. Love you! Raina says she loves you and can't wait to see you!" Amora smiled and said the same to her mother and hung up the phone.

Genie was marinating the turkey and Sullivan was raking the leaves. Mel was working on his old pick-up, and Amora was helping Genie in the kitchen.

"I can't wait to meet your family, hun. From what you told us, they sound like good folks. They sure raised you right, sweet girl." Genie wore a warm smile and her eyes matched her smile. She was the prettiest seventy-year-old that Amora ever met.

"They're just as excited to meet you and Mr. Sullivan." Amora really loved Mel's parents, they were the true definition of Southern hospitality.

Genie pursed her lips as she stirred the pot of gumbo. "Now, you're making my Sulli sound old by calling him 'Mr'." Amora giggled and began chopping up some okra.

"I'm just messing with you, hun. Now, you tell me, has my Melly been treating you right? I mean, has he been a gentleman?" Genie didn't play about treating people kindly. Although she knew how much her Melly loved Amora, she also knew how he could get sometimes.

Amora looked over her shoulder and held her hands to her heart. "Genie, he's the sweetest. I love him so much, and even though he's my first boyfriend, I know that I got the best."

Genie loved Amora, she was the perfect woman for Mel. She did have her reservations about the age difference when Mel told her, but when she heard him talk about her, she knew.

"He calls you 'his angel' and now I see why. You really are an angel, I'm so happy that you're with my son." Genie's tone was sincere and kind.

"Aww, Genie. You're gonna make me cry," Amora's eyes were misting up with tears, she loved how sweet Genie was.

Genie opened her arms and held Amora. She loved the sweet girl.

Mel walked into the house with sweat on his forehead. He just got done working on his pickup truck, he planned on taking Amora out in it after Thanksgiving.

Walking to the kitchen for a drink, Mel saw Amora being held by his mom. "Angel, what happened?" The concern in his voice surprised his mother. She never heard him sound like that.

Mel walked over to his mother and Amora and took Amora from her. "Angel," Amora sighed in Mel's chest and let out a giggle.

"I'm okay, Mel. Your mom was just being so sweet and I got worked up." Mel wiped away some stray tears and kissed her softly.

"Alright, angel." Mel looked over at his mother who was watching with a huge smile. "Mom, stop smiling like that." Mel placed a final kiss on Amora's lips and went to shower.

Genie nudged Amora with her elbow and raised her brows. "Y'all are precious, hun. My boy is so protective over his 'angel' I swear he was gonna get me with that tone of his. It doesn't work on me, but you know," Genie laughed as she shelled her shrimp.

Amora let out a yawn on a mistake and quickly apologized. They'd been working on the food since the afternoon, and the night had already fallen. "Amora, you head off to sleep, hun. I can handle the rest of this, your family should be here soon when you wake up." Genie pecked Amora's cheek and gently pushed her out of the kitchen.

Amora yawned as she walked to the bedroom. She wanted to share with Mel, but she decided against it seeing as her father would be here soon.

As she snuggled into the bed, Amora began to regret not sharing a room with Mel. She loved lying next to him.

Deciding that she needed Mel, Amora got out of the bed and stumbled into his bedroom. "Mel, I can't sleep without you. Come to my room." Mel heard Amora's tired voice. He just got out of the shower and he was going to assist his father with the lawn work.

"One moment, angel." Mel pulled in his pants and put on his tank top and opened the bathroom door.

Amora was lying out on his bed with a pout on her face. The pout meant two things. One, she was going to cry about something, or two, she was tired. And judging by her eyes that were struggling to stay open, she was exhausted.

"Come on, Angel." Amora let out another yawn and Mel carried her bridal style to her room.

Mel placed Amora on the bed and lay down next to her. He would work with his father later, the lawn could always wait.

The morning came and Genie stood at the door welcoming the Jean family.

"It's a real pleasure to meet y'all! I just want to say that Amora is such a sweet woman, y'all did so well raising her." Genie hugged each of the family members and led them to the living room. "My husband, Sullivan will be out shortly. He's just got done working the lawn." Arianne already liked Genie. She was absolutely beautiful and kind.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you! And your son is the best, he's so patient with Amora and absolutely kind." Arianne really liked Mel, he was a bit iffy, but he was a nice man.

A tall older man with a grey beard and a warm smile walked into the living room and kissed Genie's cheek. "I hope the flight here was nice, I'm Sullivan, this beaut's husband." He shook hands with everyone and sat on the couch.

"I'm Robin Jean, and this is my wife, Arianne, and my daughter, Raina." Robin didn't like Mel, but he knew better than to disrespect his parents while he stayed with them for Thanksgiving.

"Might I ask, where is Amora?" Genie pointed to the long dark hallway and stood. "She's sleeping in her room. I had her cooking with me last night, she's so sweet and helpful, but she tired herself out." Arianne and Robin followed Genie down the hall and walked into the room and Genie turned the light on.

Robin wanted to strangle Melchizedek. Amora was cuddled in his arms, and all he wanted to do was rip them apart, but he promised Arianne that he wouldn't say anything.

"Isn't that an adorable sight?" Arianne squealed in excitement.

Amora groaned at the sound of her mother's squeal and opened her eye. "Happy Thanksgiving," Mel pulled Amora closer to him and muttered. "Go away,"

Genie smacked Mel and shook his body. "Get up, boy! We've got guests, and it's Thanksgiving."

Mel rolled his eyes at his mother's antics and got up. "Good morning." Mel gave a glance of acknowledgment and walked to the bathroom.

Genie led everyone out of the room and let Amora get dressed.

Amora and Mel entered the dining room and walked to the table where the food was laid out buffet-style. Genie went all out on dinner, she had turkey, gumbo, baked spaghetti and cheese, collard greens, cornbread, sweet potato pie, candied yams, stuffing, potato salad, and honey-baked ham.
