Fluff chapter 😌
Lovin' You • Minnie Riperton

"No one else can make me feel
The colors that you bring

Stay with me while we grow old
And we will live each day in springtime
'Cause lovin' you has made my life so beautiful
And every day of my life is filled with lovin' you"

Two weeks later

To say life was going splendid would be an understatement. The drama was long gone and everyone was feeling sentimental as the movie was filming the final scene. Today was going to be an emotional day for everyone.

Stepping into the dining area, Amora took a look around the room at all of the faces that she'd come to love. It was such a melancholic feeling for her. Walking over to a table, she wanted to spend as much time with her castmates as possible.

"Hey! We were just talking about you!" Tyler, the lead male said to Amora with a welcoming smile on his face. "What's up?" She asked.

"Well," Ginger, the actress who played the role of Diana's best friend said with a smirk. "We were just saying how much Tyler isn't going to miss the horrifying glares of Melchizedek."

Tyler let out a laugh at Amora's face. He knew that she never really witnessed the fury of Melchizedek, she was never around when he got angry. "I'm telling you, that man must be madly in love with you. It's so funny seeing how quickly his demeanor changes at the sight of you. But yeah, I don't think I'll be in the sequel if Regina decides to make one. I'd rather go diving in a pit filled with vicious animals." Amora giggled at Tyler's stupid behavior. Everyone acted as if Mel was some kind of maniac, but they respected him.

Amora took a spoonful of her oatmeal and huffed. "Mel isn't bad at all, he's so sweet and kind. You guys just have to get to know him!" Ginger, Tyler, and everyone else at the table stared at Amora as if she was crazy.

"Sure, sweetheart. We'll just have to take your word on that. You weren't here yet the day he found out that someone vandalized your room, he was livid." Amora didn't know what to say, she knew that they weren't being rude about Mel, but she didn't like the idea of them believing that he was a mean man.

"He's just very passionate about certain things. That's all." Finishing her breakfast, Amora stood up and got out of her seat. "I'll see you guys at the set! I've got to get my hair and makeup done." Everyone said goodbye to her and went back to their conversation.

Walking up the stairs, Amora was wondering how she could get everyone to see that Mel was a nice man and that he wouldn't hurt them.

"Good morning ladies!" Amora said to Mame and Irena. Sitting in the makeup chair, Amora got an idea.

Pulling out her phone, Amora started a message to Mel.

Mel🥰☺️

can you come to my hair and makeup room?

Of course, sweetheart.

Amora smiled at her phone, she was going to find a way to have Mel show how kind he was.

A few minutes later Mel entered the room and smiled at his beautiful angel. "Morning." He said to the ladies and walked to Amora's chair.

Amora smiled widely and blew Mel a kiss. She couldn't give him a real one seeing as Mame was doing her hair.

"What do you need, angel?" Amora knew that Mel didn't take into account what people thought of him, but she cared about how people saw her favorite man.

"Well, seeing as it's the last day of filming..." Amora paused and bit her bottom lip. "I think you should do something nice for the cast, it would be a kind thing for you to do."

Mel knew Amora was up to something more, she wasn't a mischievous person, but he could always tell what was up with her.

"Angel, why the sudden desire for me to show a little kindness to your castmates? Has anyone said anything about me?"

Amora sighed and nodded. She loved and hated how easily Mel could see right through her.

"Well, yes! They think that you're rude and scary! Tyler even said that he'd rather dive into a pit of vicious animals than do a sequel with me. He swears that you give him "horrifying glares". I just don't want them to leave here without knowing the real you." Mel raised his brow and silently excused the ladies.

"Angel, they do know the real me. I agree with them, I am rude. I have never been known for being a kind man, so they're right." Amora gasped and hit Mel's chest, instantly her hand started to hurt. His chest was solid.

Rubbing her palm, Amora spoke. "Mel! Don't say that! You're always so nice to me, and I think you're very kind." Mel grabbed the hand that Amora hit him with and kissed her palm.

Amora's eyes lit up and she smiled. "You see! You're so attentive and sweet!" Mel rolled his eyes, Amora was bent on proving him wrong. But she was wrong.

"Only to you. It's unnecessary to kiss everyone's hand and love them as dearly as I love you." Amora's heart soared, even when denying his kindness, Mel still managed to woo her.

"Mel, I know that you don't care, but I do. It's important to me that people see you as you really are." Amora could make Mel do anything, and he was going to show everyone that he could be kind. Just for Amora.

Placing a long kiss on Amora's lips, Mel pulled away and nodded. "If it will make you happy, angel. I'll do it." With a squeal, Amora hugged him.

The door opened and Amora jumped. "Melchizedek, we need to finish Amora's look," Mame said with a pointed look, she needed to finish her job and while Mel and Amora were a cute couple, she didn't want to see them being affectionate.

Placing a farewell kiss onto Amora's lips, Mel walked away.

-

"Alright guys, today is the final day of filming. While it will be a little sad to think about, I suggest you all wait to express said sadness after we finish filming!" Everyone gave a response to Regina and within minutes the camera was rolling.

It was the last scene of the movie. Wesley and Dianne have been together for a few months, and Dianne decided to stay in Austin instead of going back to France.

Wesley was shaking in his boots, he loved Dianne with everything in him, but he was scared.

He'd sent Dianne out to get some groceries for dinner, during that time he prepared for his surprise.

"You can do this, you got this, don't freak out, don't freak out." Wesley chanted to himself trying to gain some confidence.

The lock on the door twisted and his heart dropped to his stomach. He wasn't fully prepared for her, he still wanted to boost himself up.

"Wesley! I'm back!" Dianne's soft voice rang through the house.

"I'm in the dining room, beautiful!" Wesley tried to keep his voice from shaking. Hearing footsteps, Wesley quickly straightened out his clothes and fixed his hair.

Dianne walked into the dining room and tears filled her eyes. The table was set with candles and a beautiful full-course meal, but she had yet to notice Wesley.

"Mon Dieu! It's beaut-" Finally getting a look at Wesley, the purse Dianne held dropped to the floor. Her eyes widened and she couldn't help but sob.

There he stood, Wesley was standing. He was standing! "Wesley, w-what's going on? How?" Dianne couldn't believe her eyes. They tried so hard to use the prosthetic legs, and now he's finally able to use them.

"I thought of you. I wanted you to have this experience the way everyone other woman does." Wesley's words confused Dianne.

With a confused look, Dianne spoke. "What are you talking abou-"

Kneeling on one knee, Wesley spoke. "Six years ago I knew that my life was over, I knew that I could never enjoy life the way I had before the accident. I didn't know that God had someone so magnificent and beautiful for me. With you, I learned that finding good things take time and effort, with you I learned that not everything is as it seems. You taught me how to see joy, even if you didn't know it. God, even when you were infuriating me to no end, you still had me hooked. I once read in the Bible, that no man understands what God has for them, and I thank God so much for allowing everything in my life to happen because, without the fire, I wouldn't have you. If I had the choice I'd relive it all just to have you. Dianne Cara Bourgeois, will you make me the happiest man on earth, and become Mrs. Dianne Nichols?"

Dianne couldn't believe her ears, she never expected to get married. That dream faded away at a young age, but now here was Wesley. He wanted to be with her, he wanted to marry her.

Nodding her head, Dianne started to cry softly. "Yes." Her voice was soft and sweet. She couldn't believe that Wesley wanted her after everything she had said and done to him.

Wesley held Dianne in his arms and kissed her as lovingly as he possibly could. He was over the moon.

-

The camera zoomed away from Tyler and Amora, and the movie was over. After ten takes and four hours, they finally got the perfect one.

"That's a wrap, people! I'd like to say thank you all for the effort and passion you put into making this movie. Goodnight." Regina could've cried, her movie was over and she was overwhelmed with emotions.

Walking with Tyler, Amora was stuck in thought with Mel on her mind. He was always on her mind, but at the moment she was hoping that he would do something nice for everyone.

Ginger ran ahead with the sound of music coming from the house. "Guys, I think something's going on in the house." Tyler and Amora followed behind her and their jaws went slack at the sight of the house.

The house was lit up with strobe lights, there was a DJ, and food was everywhere. Everyone entered the house from the huge sliding glass doors and they were amazed.

While Amora was gazing around the room, Mel walked behind her grabbed her by the waist, and swung her around.

"Oh!" Amora let out a squeal and instantly relaxed at Mel's scent.

"Hi, angel." Mel placed a kiss on Amora's lips and let go of her waist.

"You did all of this for me, didn't you?" Mel rolled his eyes and gave a mesmerizing smile.

Amora hit Mel's shoulder gently, quickly rubbing her hand afterward. "Yes. It seems as though they like it."

"You're so thoughtful, Mel. Gosh, you amaze me." Mel wasn't a compliment guy, they did nothing for him, but hearing them from Amora really made him feel, well, nice.

"I only want your happiness, angel." Pulling Mel into a kiss, Amora wrapped her arms around his neck.

Pulling apart, Mel placed a kiss on Amora's neck. "Come with me. We'll spend your last day here together." Nodding her head, Amora agreed.

"Okay."

Mel and Amora walked hand in hand around the ranch with a bittersweet feeling surrounding them. Amora didn't want to think about it but leaving Mel was going to be one of the hardest things she'd ever done. Her eyes filled with tears as the feelings came rushing in.

"Mel," Amora whispered as she tugged his hand gently. "What's gonna happen when all of this is over?" Her sad tone made Mel want to keep Amora with him forever.

Mel cupped Amora's cheeks and kissed her gently. "Oh sweetheart, don't cry." Mel wiped away Amora's tears and held her tightly.

"I hate this feeling, Mel. I don't want to go, I've gotten too used to being with you every day, and now I probably won't see you until my birthday." Amora was right, Mel didn't know what he was going to do without seeing her beautiful face every day.

"Angel, it seems like we've both gotten spoiled with each other's presence." Amora giggled through her tears. "While you may not think it's fair for us to be apart, it's something we'll have to do." Wiping her tears, Mel hugged Amora tightly to his chest.

"Why can't I just stay here? I can always visit my family now and then." Both of them found humor in what Amora said. They knew that it wouldn't work out.

"Angel, you're very funny." Amora sighed into Mel's solid chest. She'd miss her kind, handsome, and strong man.

"Mel, do you think we'll still work with me being in Los Altos?" Mel hated seeing Amora look so sad, he also hated the nonsense she believed at times.

"Angel," Mel said with a sigh. "I wouldn't let you leave me if I didn't feel confident in us." Amora couldn't help but laugh at Mel, he was being unusually teasing.

Mel wasn't teasing at all. If he felt that not being with Amora would jeopardize their relationship, he wouldn't let her go. She was too precious for him to let go.

The rest of the day was spent with Mel and Amora taking advantage of the last day they'd have together under the same roof.

-

After breakfast and saying goodbye to everyone, Amora went back to her room to double-check if everything was out.

Her bags were being brought down by Mel, and she couldn't help but watch as he lifted all four of her bags at once.

"Hey, Mel," Amora said as Mel was walking out of her door. Raising his brow, Amora continued. "You're strong. That's all!" Mel began to laugh.

"You're cute, Angel. Really cute." Amora sighed as Mel walked down the stairs and placed her bags in the limo.

Amora was gonna miss Mel, he was the perfect guy. Grabbing her purse, Amora decided to meet Mel at the car.

"Boo!" Amora said as she snuck up behind Mel. "Hey, are you ready?" Mel placed his arm around Amora's shoulder.

"Unfortunately, yes." Amora pouted as Mel opened the door for her.

The drive to the airport was quiet, they both knew that silence was needed. Mel's hand rested on Amora's thigh, and that was all they needed.

The chatter of the airport made it hard for Amora to think. She was trying to fill her mind with happy distractive thoughts, but it didn't work.

Mel led Amora to the correct airline and pulled a cart with all of her luggage on it to the baggage area.

After dropping off her luggage, Mel and Amora hugged tightly. They'd spent an hour at the airport already, but now it was time for Mel to leave, seeing as Amora would be boarding her flight in a few minutes.

Mel's shirt became wet as Amora's tears poured out. She felt miserable, Mel made her feel so safe and loved, she didn't want to board the plane without him.

Mel's hand rubbed Amora's back as she cried, he hated the idea of leaving her, but she had to go back to her regular life. A life without Mel in it 24/7.

"Please don't make me leave." Amora cried softly somehow breaking Mel's heart.

"Baby, you have to go. I'll see you soon though, you know I will."

Amora didn't want Mel to disagree with her.

"N-no. I'll miss you too much! I love you, Mel! You said that you'd never let me go, you said that you're too selfish for that! So be selfish now!" Mel gently, yet firmly grabbed Amora's shoulders and looked her deeply in the eyes.

"You have a job to go back to, angel. You know that I'd let you stay, but you have to go back to your life. But I promise, if you feel like you need me, I'll be there. I promise." Amora loved how Mel affirmed her when needed.

"O-okay. I'll go, I love you." Mel kissed her tenderly and held her for a moment to savor the feeling of his love in his arms.

Letting her go, Mel took a deep breath. "I love you more. Be safe, Angel."

And as Amora walked away, Mel's heart went with her. Oh, how he'd miss seeing her smile and laugh. He'd miss her singing and dancing, he'd miss everything about her.

But of course, they'd see each other soon.
