I'm so sorry for the late update, guys! I didn't forget about you, I swear! I've just been so busy, I didn't have any time to upload. But, here it is!

Also, we've reached 6k! This book is growing so fast, it's scaring me. I honestly cannot thank you enough. It warms my heart to see you enjoying this story.

Lots of love, xx

----------------------------

"Are you sure about this?" Tyler asks, playing with the lighter in his hand.

"No," I shake my head. "But I want to."

"Are you sure? Because you don't have to. I can do it for you if you want."

"No, I need to do it," I say.

"Is it going to give you a panic attack? Because I don't know how to deal with that shit."

I almost want to laugh. Neither do I.

I have to admit, I am anxious. I've never done anything like this before. It's completely unlike me. If my sister knew I was doing this, she'd be furious. If she ever finds out, she'll force me to move back home and never see Tyler again.

Lena is going to lose her mind when I tell her. She'll be proud of me, even though what I'm about to do is unbelievably stupid.

My heart thumps in my chest, but my anger is stronger than my nerves, right now. I try to stabilise my hands, knowing I'm going to need them pretty soon.

"I have to do this," I say.

It's going to be so therapeutic for me. It'll relieve my anger, and help me let out my frustration and fear. Not just about Christian and his frat, but everything in my life. It's going to make me feel better, I can already tell. It'll probably boost my confidence a lot, too.

I, Sarah Stone, am going to break the law.

On purpose.

Yep. You read that right.

Tyler tosses me a black sweatshirt from the back of his car, instructing me to put it on. It's way too big for me, but I don't even have any hoodies, so my options are limited.

"Remember," Tyler says. "Avoid eye contact with everyone. If someone calls out to you, don't respond. Don't say my name, and if something goes wrong, run. If you see the cops, run. And most importantly, listen to me."

"Okay," I nod. I take a deep breath. "I've got this."

"Are you ready?" he asks, lifting my hood over my head.

No.

"Yes."

"Let's go."

Just like that, we run around the corner, sprinting over the road to the silver BMW parked in the driveway of the frat house.

"Take this," Tyler says, handing me a baseball bat. "Smash his windscreen."

I hesitate for a moment, holding the bat over my shoulder. It's not too late to run. I can still back out of this.

"I can't do it," I say.

"Yes, you can! I thought you wanted it!"

"I do I just..."

"Don't feel bad," he tells me. "Use this instead."

This time, he hands me a pocket knife. He motions to the car's tyres. This might be a better place to start.

I flip the knife out, and stab it into his wheels. A smile forms on my face as I watch it deflate. I move around to the second one, and repeat the process until they're all ripped.

"That was so much fun!" I gush.

"That's the spirit!" he cheers. "Keep it going."

I return to the front of the car, holding the bat up into the air. This time, I don't hesitate. I swing my arm forward, slamming the baseball bat into the glass. It begins to crack, but it's not good enough. I do it again, using all my possible force.

I can't help but laugh as the glass begins to shatter. I slam into it over and over again until there's no more glass left to smash.

"Fuck yes!" he calls, joining in. He smashes the boot of the car, letting the glass of the lights scatter over the ground.

I slam into the driver's window, causing the glass to spread over the driver's seat. I grab the pocket knife again, crouching down to my knees. I scratch the letter S into the paint, slowly writing the word scumbag on his door.

I return to my baseball bat, smashing in another window. Then, I move to the hood of the car. Tyler joins me there. He's already smashed the back of the car, and the other side. So now, we smash the hood together, slamming the baseball bats into the steel.

"I love this!" I laugh, swinging the bat into the hood.

"What about the inside?" Tyler smirks. "I think it could use some redecorating."

He's right. I lean in through the window, stabbing the seat with the knife. I drag it to down, causing the inside filling to pour out.

"That's my girl," Tyler grins. I can't stop laughing. I know I shouldn't be doing any of this, but I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

"I fucking love this!" I cheer.

"You're not done yet," he says. "Come here."

He nods me over to him. I take a step in his direction, but he meets me halfway. I let out a loud squeal as he spins me around. He picks me up beneath my arms, and lifts me onto the hood of the car.

"What's this for?" I ask.

"The roofs not dented yet."

"The roof?" I giggle in disbelief. "No way."

"Climb up."

"Hell no."

"I'll help you."

He holds his hand out to me. I hesitate slightly, but my adrenaline is pumping. I take it, carefully stepping into the top of the car.

"Oh my god," I laugh, my tone full of excitement and fear.

"Jump," he says.

"No! I can't do that!"

"Yes, you can!"

I stand onto my toes, pushing down onto the roof of the car. I jump slightly, but I don't think my feet even leave the steel. I hold my arms out, keeping my balance to make sure I don't fall.

Tyler takes a step away from the car, holding his phone into the air. He's smiling at me. Genuinely smiling. Not smirking.

"What are you doing?" I call to him.

"You need a memento!" he responds. "Say cheese, princess."

"Cheese!" I laugh, pulling a silly face. But he doesn't lower his phone. I awkwardly make some exaggerated poses, throwing my hands in the air out of happiness.

"That's it, baby!" he cheers.

"Can I come down now?" I ask. "This is terrifying!"

He laughs at me, enjoying my discomfort. I crouch down to my knees, taking the huge step down to the hood. Here, Tyler picks me up around my waist, lifting me back down to the ground. I turn around to face him, feeling the adrenaline flow through my veins

I expect Tyler to let me go, but he doesn't. And I don't want him too. We're only inches apart. I have to crane my neck so far back, it hurts, but I don't care. His eyes pierce mine, both of us grinning at each other.

Before I know what I'm doing, I lift myself up into my toes, and press a kiss against his lips.

It only lasts a second, because as soon as I feel him against me, I realise what I've done.

I instantly jump away from him, stumbling over my own feet.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," I gasp. "I can't believe I just did that. I was just stuck in the moment."

I look up to face him, but he's no longer happy. In fact, all signs of emotions have been wiped from his face. He's scowling down at me, his eyes as hard as stone.

"I'll walk you home," he says.

Nothing else.

What the absolute hell?
