"Buddy, you're a boy, make a big noise, playing in the street, gonna be a big man some day! You got mud on your face! You big disgrace, kicking your can all over the place!"

"We will, we will, rock you!" we yell. "We will, we will, rock you!"

"Buddy you're a young man, hard man, shouting in the street, gonna take on the world someday!" Steph calls.

"You got blood on your face!" I add. "You big disgrace! Waving your banner all over the place!"

The crowd in the bar erupt, loudly yelling along to the chorus of the song. I can't wipe the smile off my face. Lena, Owen, Steph and I are standing by the bar, stomping our feet to the tune.

"Queen fucking killed it with this song," Owen laughs.

"I know right?!" Lena responds. "I swear they're the greatest band to ever exist."

"I agree!" Steph nods. "Just think about it... We Will Rock You, Another One Bites the Dust, We Are The Champions."

"Bohemian Rhapsody!" I add.

"Yes, of course!"

"I fucking love Bohemian Rhapsody!" Lena cheers.

"Who doesn't?" Steph says.

"I had sex to that song once," Owen smirks.

"Ew!" Lena scowls. "I did not need to know that!"

"Oh my god, how was it?" Steph gushes. "Did you thrust to the beat?"

"It was hard not to. I was almost more into the song than the sex!"

"I can imagine," she laughs. "I once tried fucking to the beat of Africa by Toto."

"No, you didn't!" Lena gasps. "That's fucking awesome!"

"To this day, it's still the best sex I've ever had!"

"I don't have any cool stories like that," Lena pouts. "Except this one time, I was getting it on with my ex and We're All In This Together started playing."

"No way!"

"Holy shit, I remember that!" I laugh.

"It was so weird! We broke up after that."

"He couldn't see the humour in it?" Steph asks.

"Nope, but it's alright. I'd rather be with a guy who'd have sex with me no matter what song is playing!"

"That's the spirit!" Steph cheers.

"This is so gross to hear," Owen complains.

"Don't worry, it's Sarah's turn now."

"My turn for what?" I frown.

"Do you have any music related sex stories?"

I scoff. "No."

"What's that tone for?" she asks.

"I haven't exactly..." I hesitate. "Had sex yet."

"Why am I not surprised?" Owen jokes.

"Shit really?" Steph furrows her eyebrows.

"Yeah, it just kind of... hasn't happened for me," I shrug.

"That's okay! Virginity is a social construct anyway!"

"You think? I get kind of embarrassed about it," I admit.

"Don't be! Sex is great, but you have to want it."

"I guess that's true."

"Do you?" she asks. "Do you want to have sex?"

"Uh..." I pause. I can feel my face turn red, but hopefully, my foundation will cover it up. I don't mind talking about it, I just don't know what to say.

"You've thought about it, haven't you?" she laughs. "It's okay if you have! it's totally normal!"

"I guess I have," I admit. "I just don't know..."

"That's alright. But just so you know, sex is so much better when you do it with someone you love."

"That's true," Owen nods. "I wish I had waited to fall in love."

"That's not a problem for such a good girl, now is it?"

A tingle shivers down my spine, my heart rate increasing. I know exactly who that voice belongs to, and now he's touching me. He throws his arm over my shoulder, giving me full exposure to the scent of his woody aftershave, mixed with alcohol and weed.

I almost want him to be stoned. When he is, he's a lot more relaxed. Almost playful. If he wasn't high, he'd be yelling by now. Or in a fight. Violence always follows him.

"Hi Tyler," I sigh. I try glancing up at him, but he's too tall for me to see his eyes.

"What's up, princess? I see you're having a nice night."

Yep. Definitely stoned.

"I was."

"Before I showed up, huh?" he chuckles. "Sorry to disappoint."

He removes his arm from my shoulder, walking over to Owen. They do one of those man-hugs, and exchange a few words I can't make out.

"What are you doing here, man?" Owen asks his friend. "I thought you were seeing Stella tonight."

"Didn't work out," he shrugs. "I had more important shit to do."

"Who's Stella?" Lena asks, reading my mind.

"Why do you care?" Tyler smirks. "You jealous or something?"

"Don't be fucking gross," Owen tells him off, giving him a slap on the arm.

"I was just curious," Lena defends. "You know... trying to bond with you."

"Well, don't," Tyler scoffs.

The conversation ends there, but I replay it in my mind. I can't help but wonder who Stella is and why Tyler is seeing her. He's so secretive about everything. I still haven't received an explanation about what happened the other night. All I've got is a bunch of random puzzle pieces that don't seem to fit together.

"Yo, Thompson!" a loud voice booms. I look over my shoulder to find a guy I don't know heading our way. He greets Tyler and Owen. I shoot Lena a quizzical look, silently asking if she knows these guys. She shrugs, telling me she doesn't.

"You got any more weed?" the guy asks.

"Nah, man," Tyler shakes his head. "I'm all out."

"You smoked it all yourself, huh?" he laughs. "Bad night?"

"More like bad fucking life," Tyler scoffs, but the guy doesn't respond. He turns to Owen.

"What about you, huh? You still in the biz?" he asks him.

"Nah, bro," he says. "I quit that shit."

"Why? You got a girl or something?"

He scoffs. "My sister moved in."

"Oh, shit yeah! Christian told me about that!"

My stomach drops. I make eye contact with Lena, and instantly take a step closer to her.

"He did?" Owen asks.

"Yeah, he mentioned something about these two freshman babes."

Owen scowls. He looks over at me, but he's not the only one. Tyler does too, and for once, I can see something other than anger in his eyes. I'm not sure, but it looks a lot like concern.

"I think you should leave now, bro," Owen tells him.

"Shit, why? You got beef?"

"Something like that."

"Is that why you boys haven't been around the frat lately? We've been missing you."

"He fucked us over."

"Christian? No way, man! He's a king."

"You need to get the fuck out of here," Tyler interferes, taking a threatening step towards him.

I instantly suck in a breath. I know where this is going. He always does that before a fight.

"Aw, come on bro! I'm sure you can solve whatever it is," the guy says, but Tyler's not having any of it.

"I said, fuck off!"

"Yo, Christian!"

No. No, no, no, no, no, no. No.

He cannot be here. Owen promised me he wouldn't be working tonight.

I cling onto Lena's arm, spotting Christian emerge out of the crowd. He's got a cocky smirk on his face, and squinted eyes. I can't believe I once thought he was attractive. He must be the ugliest person in the room.

"Boys!" He grins. "Good to see you again!"

"What are you doing here, Christian?" Owen groans. "I thought we had a deal."

"Yeah, well, I got bored," he shrugs, then glances over at us. He only spares Lena a quick look, but then eyes Steph up and down. She ignores him, causing him to focus on me. I meet his eyes, shooting him a vicious glare.

"Stay away from her, man," Owen says, taking a step towards him. Tyler stays in his place, watching their movements. His jaw is clenched, but I can't make out what he's thinking. Does he even know what happened between Christian and me?

"Not with Virgin Mary hanging around," Christian smirks. The words must've triggered something in Tyler, because he approaches him, threateningly scowling down at him.

"The fuck did you just say?" he spits.

"You heard me."

"Say it again," he shoves him. "Say it again!"

"Relax, bro," he laughs sarcastically. "She's a perfect candidate! You said so yourself, she's a stuck up bitch!"

Before I even get a chance to process the words, Tylers fist flies forward. It collides with Christians cheekbone, causing him to stumble backwards.

"You were right. Good girls are the most fun, aren't they?" Christian laughs, composing himself.

"You son of a bitch!" Tyler calls. He grabs Christian by the collar, getting in his face. But Christian doesn't give up.

"It's always the shy ones, huh?" he taunts.

Tyler shoves him backwards, throwing another punch. He doesn't give him a chance to recover before he punches him once more. I want to look away, but I can't. Tyler throws punch after punch, not even giving Christian a chance to retaliate.

"Tyler, quit it!" Owen calls, pulling at his friend's arm. Tyler glances over at him, fury on his face. Christian takes the opportunity of Tyler's distraction, and lunges at him, causing them to fall onto the floor. They bump against my legs, making me squeal. I jump back instantly, hitting my back against the edge of the bar.

Christian tries to get up off the floor, but Tyler doesn't let him. He tugs him back down, refusing to give up.

"You fucking cunt!" he yells, climbing on top of him. He begins throwing his punches again, causing some blood spatters to shoot over the floor.

"Tyler!" Owen calls, grabbing hold of his lifted arm. "The cops!"

He searches his eyes, letting the words sink in. Once they have, he climbs onto his feet, scanning the room. Sure enough, I spot two officers barging in through the doors.

Without saying a word, he leaps over the bar, kicking a few drinks over in the process. He dodges the bartenders, and disappears behind the kitchen door.
