Adryian, Kasuan, Keyarri and Jayceon waited at the hospital with Princess and Devin's mom for an update on Devin's condition. It had been almost five hours since Princess got the call saying they found him shot up in Adryian's Aunts neighborhood.

" The family of Devin Reese " a doctor said walking into the waiting room, every one looked up

" Right here " His mother said standing up

" Follow me please "

" Um.. " his mother stopped " Whatever you have to say, you can say in front of all of us, they're his family too " She said making Kasuan smile just a bit.

" Oh okay " the doctor replied " When Devin first arrived he was unresponsive, his heart had stopped but we managed to get it back pumping. He's in stable condition but right now he's in a medically induced coma. "

" Oh thank god " His mother said

Kasuan let out sigh of relief and put his head on his hands. He couldn't do anything but thank god right now. Adryain rubbed his back.

" Devin was shot three times in the chest, in the arm, hand and leg.. I'm positive with some time and physical therapy, he'll recover well "

" Can we see him ? " His mother asked

" Only two people at a time right now " The doctor said.  Devin's mother motioned for Princess and the baby to come and they followed the doctor to the room.

An hour later Kasuan decided it was time for him and Adryian to go, they said their goodbyes and headed out the hospital. On the way out they ran into Tania.

Adryian stopped her " Tania what are you doing here? "

" Is devin okay ? " she asked frantically trying to look past Adryian

" I really don't think it's a good idea that you go in there " Kasuan said stepping into the conversation. " Princess already been through enough tonight, just come back tomorrow "

Tania looked at Kasuan, she knew his secrets and she was heated. She looked at Adryian and pulled her away, far enough so Kasuan couldn't hear them.

" Tania what's up with you ? " Adryian said snatching away from her and looking at her like she was crazy. " ..Are you okay ? You know you got a lot of nerve showing up here, Devin don't even fuck with you-

" Adryian, You don't understand.. I know who shot Devin.. and I know who kilt Raheem " she said, cutting her off. Adryian's eyes widened.

How could she possibly know anything ?

Kasuan tried to wrap his arms around Adryian so he could sleep and she moved away from him, he tried again twice and moved away twice.

Adryian turned on the small lamp on her night stand and got out of bed with much attitude.

" You okay ? " Kasuan asked, Adryian ignored him and went to the bathroom. He waited a minute before getting out of bed and following her, he opened the door

Adryian shook her head to herself and chucked, she looked up at Kasuan " All you fucking do is lie I swear "

He looked at her, confused at what she was talking about. " What are talking  about ? " he asked

" You lied. You told me you weren't going to get involved in Devin and Raheem's beef "

" And I didn't " he replied

" Kasuan then why the fuck were you in the car when Devin kilt him " Adryian yelled. Kasuan's eyes widened, he didn't know what to say and she chuckled. " I can't believe you right now, you promised me you wouldn't get involved "

" Adryian you know I had to be there for him, he'd do the same for me "

She let out a deep breath. Tania had explained so much to her, it made her head spin. " Somebody know's Devin killed Raheem and Raheem's cousin shot Devin, they want war "

Kasuan quickly left from the bathroom without saying a word and began to get dressed. He put on the first pair of jeans he saw and black hoodie.

" Where do you think you going ? " Adryian said following behind him

" Yo, real shit Adryian go back to bed " Kasuan said

Adryian pulled his arm, he turned back and looked at her " Kasuan don't do anything stupid .. please, I can't lose you. You have a family now, you gotta' start making better decisions. It's not worth it. " she said, her eyes starting to water.

She saw how messed up Princess was about Devin and she couldn't imagine going through that. She wouldn't know what to do if something happened to Kasuan.

He pulled away from her and headed towards the door " Just go back to bed Adryian "

" Kasuan please.. " She cried.

He ignored her and left the house anyways and she started to cry uncontrollably. She only prayed nothing happened to him.

A few days later

" He always leaving and disappearing for days like it's okay and it's not okay " Keyarri said on the phone with Adryian who was a mess right now. It had almost been a week since she last saw Kasuan and she didn't know where he was and he left his phone at home

" Like leaving is one thing but I'm pregnant the fuck and you already know how Sehkani is " Adryian replied flicking through channels in bed. She was eating a carton of cookie dough ice cream and watching Law and order while Sehkani slept next to her.

" I say you put his shit outside and change the locks on his ass " Keyarri said. She was so happy her man was nothing like Kasuan, she would've been left him. She really didn't  know how Adryian did it but nobody really knows when you looking from the outside in. " Nah fuck that, bleach and burn his shit.. hurt his pockets " Keyarri added making Adryian laugh a little

Before Adryian could respond Kasuan walked in the room holding bags of Chick-fil-A. " Ima' call you right back, Kasuan bitch ass just walked in " she said

" Oop.. okay bitch. Talk to you later " Keyarri quickly said before Adryian hung up.

Adryian put her ice cream down and got out of bed.  " Where the fuck have you been ? " She yelled loudly but not loud enough to wake Sehkani.

" Chilll " Kasuan said slowly eating a fry and stumbling a little.

Adryian looked at him, his eyes were low and blood shot red " Are you high ? " she asked in disbelief

" High in love with you " Kasuan smiled, he was definitely off something harder than weed.

Adryian sucked her teeth and walked back to the bed. She sat down and got under the covers. " I'm sorry baby.. take me back or I won't feed you, this food so good too. I know you want some " He said

" I'm not hungry " Adryian mumbled

" Shut up you always hungry, you pregnant " Kasuan said " I'm bout ' to get you pregnant again.. you cute when you mad "

She rolled her eyes. " Kasuan can you just get out "

Kasuan got in bed next to Sehkani " I'm sorry baby " he said again. She ignored him and a few minutes later Kasuan had fell asleep.

Even though Adryian was mad she was relieved he was home and she could finally get some good sleep knowing he was okay.
