Adryian and Kasuan sat in their bed the following night. Kasuan laid up his phone with Sehkani curled up next to him and Adryian sat up Indian style clicking through channels. She stopped at the news when a story caught her attention

" Breaking news tonight on news at eleven.. a woman was found beaten and shot to death in her Atlanta home earlier this morning " the first news anchor said

" Yes, Tom investigators say twenty year old Faith Johnson was found in her home earlier this morning by a relative.. the twenty year old   was found brutually beaten with one single  shot to the head. Police believe this is a crime of passion and currently searching for a person of interest in this case "

Adryian's mouth dropped when she saw the picture of Kasuan's ex pop up on the screen, she quickly changed the channel and looked at Kasuan who was looking at her too

" Tell me you didn't have anything to do with that " she said

" Don't ask me no stupid questions Adryian " Kasuan said before getting out of bed and walking to their closet.

" Don't walk away from me while I'm talking to you " She said getting out of bed and walking to where he was. Kasuan started to put on a pair of dark grey skinny jeans, a black hoodie and a pair of Jordan's. " Where the fuck you going ? "

" Adryian can you just shut the fuck up for one second.. I'm just as lost as you are. No I didn't kill that girl now get the fuck out my face  " Kasuan snapped before brushing past her, she tried to grab his arm and he snatched away from her

" Kasuan-

" None of this shit would've happened if you would've never fucked that lame ass nigga " Kasuan snapped getting in her face. " Now I gotta' clean up this big ass mess YOU made... same way you wanted me to keep my dick to myself, you should've never gave my pussy up to that lame ass nigga " he said before walking away. He mumbled something else to himself before leaving the room and out the house.

Adryian's feelings were hurt. She wiped the tears that fell down her face and got back in bed with her baby. She was definitely thinking about going to her Aunt's house for awhile after this.

Kasuan and Devin sat in front of Devin's house in the car, hot boxing it as they talked

" Damn bruh.. she ain't deserve that shit at all. You straight ? " Devin asked

Kasuan leaned against the car door and rubbed his temple, he couldn't believe Faith was dead. She didn't deserve it but that was the price she had to pay with getting involved in shit Kasuan warned her to never get involved in.

" I want Tyriq dead by the end of week I don't care if we gotta' go to New York and find this nigga our self.. I want him dead "

" Woah woah woahh.. you know we can't go to New York, that's his territory... who knows how many connections he has. The same way we run our city, he runs his. We gotta' play this shit smart Kasuan... look, I know you hurt but it was bound to happen "

Kasuan wanted to kill Tyriq and his whole crew right now. He was angry and needed to hurt someone.

" So what you think we should do ? " Kasuan asked looking at Devin

Two weeks later

" Kasuan I swear to god when I see you ima' kill you myself.. stop fucking playing with me and come home " Adryian said angrily leaving another voicemail on Kasuan's phone, this was only one of two hundred. She wiped the tears from her face and hung up the phone.

She hadn't heard from or seen Kasuan in two weeks and it had her an emotional wreck. Sehkani loudly cried in the back ground, it was like all he did was cry now. Adryian picked him up and rocked him for a few minutes until he fell back to sleep. The door bell rang and Adryian quickly went to go see who was at the door. Every time she heard the doorbell ring she feared it was the police telling her Kasuan was dead but it wasn't. She looked through the peep hole and Brandon stood outside, he knocked on the door and she opened it

" Yes ? " She said rubbing Sehkani's back as he laid on her shoulder

" I just came to check up on you... I haven't seen you in a minute and you ain't answer the phone " Brandon said walking inside and closing the door behind himself. He looked over Adryian, she looked a mess. Her hair wasn't done and her skin was bare and broken out and she had bags under eyes that already looked puffy.

Adryian put Sehkani in his bassinet and they both sat down on the couch. " Have you talked to Kasuan ? " she asked.

" Look.. it's a lot going on right now-

" Have you or have you not talked to Kasuan ? " she asked in a stern tone, cutting him off

" Nah.. nobody seen him or Devin. I thought you would've heard from him by now " Brandon admitted. Adryian's heart dropped, she prayed they were okay. She was so mad at Kasuan for leaving like he did without saying anything to anybody. She started to cry and Brandon brought her in for a hug

" I hope he's okay " She cried " I don't know what I'd do if something happened to him "

" I got you Pooh bear, I know Kasuan.. he may be one stupid ass nigga . " Brandon said making Adryian laugh just a bit " But he know what he doing by disappearing like this "

Adryian sniffled and looked up at Brandon, she never told him about her and Kasuan's personal issues but she had nobody else to talk to. Keyarri and Jayda were both busy with school and her sister's had went back home.

" Before he left we got into a really bad fight and he said some stuff "

" What he say ? "

" Remember when me and him broke up that one time and I started dating Tyriq " she said, Brandon nodded his head. " I was hurt and feeling lonely and needy so me and Tyriq had sex twice but we used a condom both times.. Tyriq came to me when he found out I was pregnant begging for a DNA test and I never told Kasuan, Kasuan didn't even know me and Tyriq had sex and before he left he said some things... are Kasuan and Tyriq beefing ? "

" It's best if you know nothing " Brandon said honestly " The more you don't know, the better. Kasuan know what he doing, don't worry "

But how could she NOT worry. Every day she blamed herself for everything that was going on. She had already put two and two together and she wished she never even would've gotten involved with Tyriq.
