I DOWN THE last of the content from my coffee cup and put my computer to sleep. My intercom buzzes and I answer it swiftly.

"Ma'am, I just wanted to remind you about your appointment next week with Mr. Lopez about the paint situations." I chew the back of my pen and stare out the windows that reenacted as walls in my office. I had started a very successful business. I was booked solid for the two years to come.

"Alright. I'll be there at 7 instead of eight." I tell Vivian and cut off the line. Pulling my contents in a bag I walk out the building to my car.

As soon as I slip in, I kick off my heels and sigh against the relief of it. I was so damn tired but there was still soo much to do once I get home.

I reverse out and make my destination to my house. It was unnecessarily large and made of white stone that ran up to four stories. I could see the lights were shut off from most rooms inside, so I assumed they were asleep.

The house was an easy decision for me. I loved it ever since I first saw it years ago. It was the best one in Blue Haven, and it felt like home even though it had an intoxicating size. I parked my car next to another Bugatti and got out locking the garage and my car. I hung my purse on my shoulder and stepped inside with my heels in hand.

The patio was polished underneath my feet as I walked towards the twin stairwell all the way to the front door. It really was a fucking workout getting up and down here, but it was worth it.

I pushed the unlocked door and dropped my things to the side as I walk in placing my coat on the L shaped couch. Celia was tidying up the kitchen as I approached her with a big huff and slumped onto the bar stool.

"Busy day?" She asked as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"The busiest. I had to tackle two clients in a civilized manner of course since somehow their appointments got clashed. Thank you." I murmured as she passed me a large glass of cold water. I chugged the whole thing as she chuckled placing my glass in the sink.

Just as I was about to ask her what was for food, I heard footsteps running towards me. I turned and an automatic smile bloomed on my face as Loren grinned up at me, extending his arms, an indication he wants to be carried. I pull him to my lap as he wraps his arms around me.

My day suddenly turned wonderful.

"Hey, Lo." I gush and tickle his stomach. He laughs and buries his face in my neck, clinging onto me. "What happened?"

"I'm sad." He sniffs. "Very sad."

I look alarmed and pull him back. Clearly something had happened while I was not home. It would not be the first time either. "Why? What happened?"

"Everly broke my toy car." He pouted holding up the ruptured blue transformer. I held it up with raised eyebrows. Even though I have been a mother for eight years now, my kids still do not cease to amaze me.

I construct and answer in my head and pray that I do not laugh at this situation.

"Everly did that? It's an awful lot of damage for a six-year-old to do." I mumble and watch Celia retire from the kitchen. "Are you sure this is all her?"

Loren fiddles with his shirt looking up at me with his innocent blue-gold eyes. "She left it in the washing machine."

"It's alright." I wipe his tears and set him on the table levelling him with my height. "You know Christmas is coming up. Santa is always open to wishes."

"Really?" His eyes widened and his lips turned into an O. I push his light brown hair back and smile brightly, nodding. "Santa will bring me presents?"

I chuckled and pushed back from my stool. Just then our dog, Lily, runs up to us. She's a small husky that I fell completely in love with at the pet shelter. Ever since then she has been part of the family through thick and thin. She was present through the birth of all my children and she witnessed my screeching and cursing through labour.

"Has Santa ever missed before?" I ask Lo as he jumps into my hold. I bend down and scratch behind Lily's ear as her tail waggles behind her. She runs circles around my legs as I go up the stairs and hear the echo of crying.

"Uh oh." Loren whispers to me looking up. "Daddy made the baby cry again."

"Daddy didn't make the baby cry." I say kissing his head. "The baby is crying because she probably wants something. Let's go see." We walk up the steps with Lily close behind us, her collar bell ringing in a subtle echo as she pants.

I push the door to the pink nursery to see Everly crying at her father's feet while Aaron held Lila trying to rock her back into sleep. He looks up at me in distress and I swiftly scoop Lila and rock her.

"I tried fucking everything. She just wont stop crying." Aaron sighed running his hands through his hair. I kissed Lila's head and watched her eyelids droop as she cooed back to her little dreams. I settle her down in her crib and pull her pink blanket on her.

She suddenly became quiet and went into a deep slumber. I cannot blame Aaron for her crying though. When I first had her I was in FaceTime with Sersha, Olivia and Emery about what to do. I was a hazardous mess trying to figure out how to raise three kids with equal treatment and attention.

It gets easier though.

"Ev, what's wrong?" I ask as she cries near Aaron's feet. He picks her up and she places her head on his shoulder and rubs her large brown eyes. Lila is the only one with Aaron's pretty blue eyes. But Everly makes my eyes look gorgeous on her.

I push her dark brown hair from her face and ask her as she quivers her bottom lip. "My tum is hurting."

"Did you tell Daddy or Celia?" I ask looking at Aaron who shook his head.

"No." She bobs her head from right to left. "I wanted to tell you."

My hearts squeezes but I give her a pointed look. "You have to tell Daddy. He can't help you if you don't tell him. Okay?"

"Okay." She mumbles kicking her feet so she could be put down. Aaron places her down gently and Loren immediately takes the opportunity to hang on his father's arm like a monkey.

"Hey, little man." Aaron smiles ruffling his hair. He was still cladded in his work attire though his coat is discarded on the floor next to the pile of stuffed animals and Barbie dolls. I cannot help but feel guilt for Aaron. My work takes a longer drag as it has an undefined schedule. I need to fix that because I cannot leave him to fend for all three of our children alone.

Celia tries to pitch on as much as she can but at the end of the day they need both of their parents here. And I try to keep my life as family-oriented as I can to ensure they have a good brought up and childhood. I do not want them to experience any hardships Aaron and I face but I can only hope for that.

"You need to go to bed too." Loren's eyes cut to mine and he protests swinging back on the ground.

"Lo." I sternly say to him. Never in my life would I have thought I would be using the mom voice.

Loren then looks at Aaron in hope. "Daddy, please, please. Just ten more minutes?" He jutted out his bottom lip knowing it will work wonders on us. Aaron looked at me and I gave him defeated sigh and nod as Loren rejoiced jumping up and down.

Wow, ten minutes for him must seem like independence day.

I swiftly tuck Everly into bed and close the lights and door behind me. Loren runs up to his own room upstairs while I walk to the bottom floor where Aaron and I have our bedroom and library. I was wholly pouring joy when I got to see my dream library with a ladder and everything. Aaron had gotten a gym at the last floor too while the kids had a play room they enjoyed.

Our home was perfect.

Just as I walked down to the kitchen to get some snacks, Aaron wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my neck.

"Hey, you." I say and turn around, placing my hands around his neck. He leans down and kisses my mouth harshly, pushing me up against the kitchen counter. My heart pounds against his as he nibbles on my bottom lip before pulling back.

"Hey." He breathed staring at my face. "I missed you."

"I know." I gasp as he pulls me forward against him by the back of my thighs. "Okay, okay. I missed you too. A lot." He puts on a satisfactory grin and kisses my neck, collarbone, and jaw.

Even after seven years of marriage I still am not used to him.

After I had gone to Harvard, at my third semester Aaron and I had re-met and hit it off like there was no gap of time between us. We visited each other frequently, physically, instead of video calls and got even more closer together. If that was even possible.

We moved in together after we graduated and that was when I got pregnant with Loren, and I was so fucking scared. I had no idea what to say to him or what both of us would do. I was still very young at that point being twenty-two. He had taken it amazingly though and we had gone all out for Lo. Our eighteen and nineteen year old selves would have face palmed themselves.

But I was so excited to have a baby.

Three months into my pregnancy we got married here in Blue Haven and called out all our friends and family. It was the best day of my life and I still feel exhilarated thinking about it. It was perfect.

Then two years later we had Everly and raising two kids was tough. We juggled with our jobs and them, trying to divide our attention to both. I had not taken maternity leave with either of them and only did when Lila was born three years ago. She gave me the most pain during my trimesters, but she was so worth it. They all were.

"The kids are in bed." Aaron mumbled against my mouth and stared up at me. I bit my lip and pulled back sneaking a glance at the staircase.

"That's true...But you look fucking tired." I teased him. He took my palm and placed it on his hard and heavy cock.

His eyes looked at me. "Still feel tired?"

I wrap my legs around his waist and kissed him. "Let's go to our bedroom." I breathed quickly earning a laugh. It racketed through me as he picked me up and walked us to-

"Momma!" I quickly pushed him and straightened myself as Loren walked in with his iPad. He glanced between the two of us and then shrugged. I cut my eyes to Aaron who bit back a laugh. Fuck him. "Can I call uncle Ow and uncle Reubie?" He asked turning his iPad in front of him innocently. I crouched down and gave him a sorry look.

"They both must be asleep. It's 1 am, Lo. You need to be in bed too." He nodded and tucked his iPad underneath his arms and I kissed his forehead. He went to Aaron, and he did the same.

"Night." He yawned walking up the stairs one step at a time, clinging to the balusters.

"Night, Lo." Aaron said after him as he looked at my unimpressed face. He started laughing out loud as I shook my head turning the TV on. "Aw, come on West. How was I supposed to know he was going to come down?" He fell next to me and snuggled his head in my lap.

I rolled my eyes switching channels. "Doesn't mean I can't be pissed."

"That's good. Angry sex is the best sex." He joked trailing a finger between my thighs.

"You are unbelievable." I muttered. "This isn't as bad I'll admit when Loren went through that phase."

"It wasn't a wrong phase."

"Our son shouting fuck to everyone was a bad phase." I tell Aaron as he wraps a hand around my throat. I look down to see him staring up at me. I really cannot be mad at this man.

He played with my hair and whispered. "I just educated him. Plus, Ev and Lila found it hilarious."

"They laugh when the clock ticks." I said holding back a chuckle. I lean down and kiss him as he smirks against my lips.

My phone rang loudly and I pulled back from Aaron who scowled. It was Sersha who had just sent a reminder to everyone about the dinner tomorrow. We had booked reservations for our large group.

Sersha and Reuben had two twins now, Jane and Will. They both were adorable and got along with Everly and Loren happily. The both of them had recently gotten married too after Reuben had finally settled down with Sersha. He owned a museum now along with his hotel business and Sersha went on gigs and sold her art in bids. They both worked hand in hand, and it was beyond sweet.

Olivia and Owen had just welcomed their second child two years ago. A bay boy named Ezra. They had a daughter named River too who was starting second grade.

Jordan and Emery had a tough journey though. Emery had been trying for a baby for years but every time it would lead to a miscarriage or still birth. After a lot of strength and love they managed to have a baby girl, named Nova. She was Loren's age now and all of them were close with each other which meant that whines for play dates were on a regular basis.

It still amazes me how tight we remain. Even Archer is coming over later this month to visit us. But the trips do not stop there.

We have Christmas at my mother's with grandma and Jake. Evangeline, Cole and Evan are coming over there too along with Cate and Louis's family. We all are going to have one large Christmas and I cannot wait for the chaos and warmth do it all.

Aaron gets up and sits on the couch next to me. I look over at the coffee table to see one of the kids had left a half eaten plate of Oreos. I get up and reach for the plate only for Aaron to place me on his lap. I lean against him and stare at his hand holding me. It held a silver band from our wedding.

He had taken- well stolen my star engraved one- and had thinned out the band and added a purple tear drop diamond along with some diamond dotting around it and two stones on either side. I used to tease him saying that I married him just for the ring.

"Are you free tomorrow?" Aaron asked as I hummed invested as Love, Rosie played on our TV.

"I could make time. Why?" I asked, tilting my head back to stare at his face.

"Because I want to spend it with you. It's been a while." He murmurs and I know what he means. We have been so busy with just life itself that having time for each other is turning to a struggle. But we make do.

"I'll clear my schedule." I tell him confidently. "Lo and Ev will be at school and Olivia will take Lila till the dinner."

"Great." We love our children but we really needed an us time. The sparrows are always fighting to babysit the kids and we take turns helping the other out.

I make a mental note to plan a party to invite them all to our house. Being family-oriented meant we all were getting rare glimpses of each other.

Lily comes barking at us and I laugh as she pounces onto my lap. "I'm starting to think we may never be alone." Aaron grumbles as Lily snuggles under my palm.

"Please you sound like we never see each other. I'm pretty sure I was late to work yesterday morning and today." He looks at me smugly as Lily runs off to her bed under the stairs. We tried to get her to sleep somewhere more open but damn that girl and those stairs.

Every time Everly or Loren come down she gets up excitedly and attacks them with kisses. It is the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

I close the TV and get up with Aaron after me. We go to our large bedroom and he immediately falls onto bed with a groan. I go into my walk in closet and take out a silk night-set before heading to the bathroom to change. I can't bother showering since I will probably fall asleep in there no matter how much I will against it.

So I just change, remove my make up and brush my teeth. I add some oils to my face and walk out to the vanity to brush my tangled hair. I slowly run the bristles in my hair and unknot it while Aaron stares at me from the bed in sweatpants and no shirt.

"Are you sure it has been seven years?" Aaron asks as I nod applying lip balm. "It doesn't feel that long."

I crawl to bed and close my nightlight. He has his still on as he pulls me to his chest and rests his chin on my head. "I told you we would find our way back together."

"I always knew we would." I sleepily say as he kisses the side of my head. "Im happy, Aaron. With everything."

"I am too." He says against my head and squeezes my waist. I kiss his chest and sigh in content as my eyelids flutter shut.

...

"Ta da." I announce turning Everly to the mirror. She grins at her light blue dress and her hair which is braided in French braids. "You love it?"

"Yeah!" She hugs me tightly before running out to show Aaron. Too bad her father is still getting his hair and outfit done.

I pick up Lila from her crib and swing her up. She was such a tiny human I was obsessed. "Hey Lila." I gush at her while her head falls back and she bubbles out laughter as I tickle her Stitch onesie cladded body. I pulled her hood up and heard her shriek in laughter. "You are the most adorable baby." I tell her and quickly put her on the powder table.

I changed her diaper and pulled her in a small light purple dress and strap in her small shoes. Everything was tiny enough that she felt like my own gurgling dress up doll.

My sweet baby.

I smooth down my own emerald dress. It had two flaps that connected the waist and ran all the way to my ankles. It was made of silk and I love it even though that may be biased as it was designed by Catherine.

I fix my curled hair and carry Lila down with her baby bag. We go down the stairs to where I see Loren and Everly playing with Lily.

"Daddy's still not down?" I ask placing Lila onto the couch carefully. They shake their heads to engrossed with the puppy. I close the TV that was playing the Lion King as I went to my bedroom to check on him.

"Aaron. Come on." I frowned walking in to see him making his hair. "Really?" I cross my arms in exasperation. His eyes take me in and I cannot help but do the same.

He looked gorgeous in his suit which hugged him perfectly in all the right places. His hair is still messy so I had no fucking idea what he was fixing.

"You look very sexy." He rasped gripping my hips and pulling me forward. His hand plays with the shifts of the top of my dress. "It comes of easily too."

I rolled my eyes and pulled away. "Come on. Emery has been texting me like crazy. You made us late. Again."

"It takes time to look this amazing!" He calls out as I rowdy up the kids to the door. Aaron carries Lila in his arms like she is the most fragile type of glass he has ever held.

He kisses her head as she closes her eyes, her tiny hands fisting the front of his suit.

I turn to my two other kids and help them buckle up into their kid seats. "Lo, pass Ev the blanket. She gets cold next to the AC." He does and gives his sister her unicorn printed blanket. She has a fixation with that thing ever since Louis had gifted to her when she was born. Now she cannot live without it.

I shut the door and get into the passenger seat. Aaron passes me Lila as I settle down placing her baby baby next to my feet. He quickly talks to the security guards and warns them about our
