|Aaron's POV|

"COME ON." WEST called out straightening the handle of her black suitcase. I quickly did my hair and ran towards her as she gave me a pointed look.

"Well stop stalling now." I chuckle kissing her lips and getting our stuff from the conveyer belt.

"You literally just made your hair in front of the window and I'm the problem." She huffed pulling a large suitcase down the converter belt. She moved to get the next but I stopped her.

"I'll get them." I pulled them out and waved a guy with a airport luggage trolley over. He helped us get them on and strolled it out the check out to the gates.

I laced through Bryce's as we walked out the first of snow hitting down the metal panel they had extended out so passengers could stand under.

"It's so beautiful." Bryce mumbled looking at awe. The fresh white coating of snow powdered everywhere as people buzzed through smiling and yelling.

We waited anticipating for my mother and father to pick us up feeling nothing but anxious. But for different reasons that is.

Bryce played with her hands inside her oversized black puffer jacket. She had paired it up with a black hoodie, tights, and white sneakers.

I on the other hand wore a tight white sweater, a black bomber jacket and sneakers. I didn't bother wearing a beanie or anything mostly because those things ruin my hair and irritate me.

"What car are we looking for?" Bryce asked breaking the silence.

I sighed looking at the time on my phone exasperatedly. Always late. "A Rolls Royce phantom was the last car I saw them with. Probably changed." I muttered.

"Damn." West laughed unbelievably. "What even is the symbol of that car. Do you have one too?"

I scoffed. "Of course I do."

"Which one?"

"A bougatti la voiture noire." I simply blew out. Her eyes widened insanely and her jaw dropped.

"What the fuck? My mother wouldn't even let me near one of them let alone buy them. My dad always promised me he would buy me the most expensive car when I was eighteen. I mean my mom has every car you could possibly list but she never let me near them thinking I'd drift or some shit." She ranted animatedly. "Grandma reckons mom will crack when I'm eighteen and get me one."

"I agree with your mother. Probably best if we don't let you drive one of them." I teased her.

She scoffed rolling her eyes. "If you can fucking drive then anyone can be allowed to." I laughed at her as she smirked. "Come to think of it I can probably take your car for a spin." West looked up at me with raised eyebrows. I pulled her closer to me tucking her in my side.

"You can do whatever the fuck you want, baby. You want to take my car out for a drive then do it. But on one condition." I say to her as she looks at me curiously. I lean down close to her ear as I whispered, "I get to fuck you in my car." I chuckled as her breath hitched and she swallowed.

"Jackass." She muttered. "I'll get you back for that. Don't worry." I looked at her amusedly as my eyes caught on someone walking towards us.

I looked up at saw my mother reigning a large smile on her face as she wore her Prada outfit. "Aaron." She addressed standing in front of me. I had to crane my head a slight bit to look at her as she wrapped her arms around me. I returned the gesture. "It's been soo long. You've grown taller too." She noticed looking me up and down for any signs.

"Good to see you too, momma." I chuckled.

My mom softly looked at me. "You really have become a young man."

"That's what happens when you hit puberty." I tell her as she gasps. Her eyes fleet beside me and she grins even wider if possible.

"It's good to finally meet you Mrs. Mercer. I've heard so many- oh." West cuts off as my mother squeezes the living shit out of her.

"Call me Evangeline, darling. No need for the formalities." She pulled back looking at her. "God you're so beautiful." Bryce blushed ducking her head at the compliment.

"Thank you." She smiled looking at me and then my mother. "I can see the resemblance really."

My mother laughed pressing a hand to her chest. "Oh, wait till you see his father. Spitting image really." We all chuckle as I travel my eyes around and then look at my mother who's eyes dimmed. "Your father couldn't make it right now. Work calls and all. Your brother will join us for dinner. He was just here this morning gone for some errands." I nod understandingly as she walks off to get the car here.

I look around absently as Bryce speaks, "You didn't tell me your mother looked like fucking Angeline Jolie."

I snorted at her shock. "Really? I hadn't noticed that actually." I honestly put out distracted in my thoughts. My dad wasn't here.

Good thing or bad thing? I didn't know. I was just glad I wouldn't see any shitshow happening.

"There." Bryce grabbed my hand and tugged me toward my mother's car. I buckled in the front seat after West nudged me several times telling me she'd be too socially awkward to sit at the front.

"Buckle up." My mother instructed pulling out her black sunglasses and putting them on even though it was winter. "It won't be long from here. I haven't driven in a while but I told Norman that I'd take it today."

Bryce chuckled forcefully having no idea what my mother was talking about. I mouthed her 'driver' and she nodded in understanding.

"So Bryce, darling, tell me. How's your mother? I haven't been in touch for a while." My mother talked.

"You knew my mum?" Bryce asked.

"We met at a party once. And then I attended your father's funeral. I'm sorry about that. Both your parents are wonderful. I heard she's getting married soon?"

"Yes." Bryce confirmed.

My mother nodded. "Good for Amelia. Now tell me about you. How'd you meet my son? Was he a pain in the ass as usual?" I scowled as both ladies started laughing.

"He was. Most definitely." Bryce teased looking at me.

"I'm still fucking here." I grumbled.

"You better wash that mouth before we get home." My mother warns. "How'd you two meet?"

Bryce exchanged a look with me as I spoke, "We met at the academy. She had a horrendous crush on me. It was crazy how obsessed she was with me-"

"Alright. Back it up, Mercer." Bryce cut in. "That never even happened. Mercer here asked me out after weeks of rejection. In all honesty I hated him until I later realized he wasn't a complete imbecile. And the reverse happened where I asked him out."

My mother burst out laughing her body shaking. "God." She murmured looking at me. "I'm glad you found her. She'll most definitely put you in your place."

I grunted at her.

"I'm glad my son isn't the same Casanova I eft him. It was a nightmare waking up in the house to see women jumping and running out the house barely clothed. The amount of asses I had seen us-" She shook her head giving the idea. "Good thing you came along."

"Mhm." Bryce hummed as we came into view of our house. "Woah." She mumbled under her breath at the sight of our place.

It was huge no doubt. Our house was large and stood behind a pool of rectangular water that fountained water up and down. There were chairs and table around the swimming pool whilst lampposts illuminated the house in the dark showing off the large palm trees scattered around.

We got out the car and Bryce looked around beyond amazed.

"Gavin, please take these upstairs to the Aaron's room." My mother mumbled handing out keys to our driver as Gavin took our luggage.

We walked up the stoned steps towards the large doors which were already opened. Behind us you'd see the whole view and the large iron gates that secluded our house from outside. It was more a higher class area here with nothing but trees and untouched land and of course the two gates we had to pass by to get to here.

My dad was always high on security. It was one of the things about him that sometimes irritated me when I used to live here.

I was shocked that my mother still had my room intact. I thought dad would remove any signs of my place immediately.

"The waters heated." Bryce noted looking around and gently judging snow away from here sneakers. "I was wondering how it wasn't frozen in the snow." I stared down at the small flowers going from the edge of the snow covered grass. They breezed in the wind as I dusted snow off my hair.

"Yeah. The inside is too." I murmured to her as we walked through the doors taking off our shoes in hopes to not make a wet mess everywhere. I was more keen on knowing West's reaction more then anything. The only reason I was here was to show her Blue Haven and have her know where I grew up. Everything else was too none of my fucking concern.

The interior of our house varied from high class modern to some intricate antique details. Bryce drank it all in as my mother guided us to the large living room with white sofas.

I sat down next to her spreading my legs as my mother seated in a grey armchair. "I had the chef cook some food because I was at my doctors shift."

I furrowed my eyebrows at her. "I though you left the hospital?"

"I did." She smiled pushing a lock of jet black hair behind her ear. "But I love helping people. And that place is full of it." I nodded as she clasped her hands together getting up. "I'll get changed and you both can too. I can't wait to hear about everything over dinner. Rest well." My mother departed up the stairs as Bryce raised her eyebrows looking around.

"What do you think?" I asked.

"It reminds me of my home." She whispered. "My mom's place is decorated like this too but... differently. Your mom's awesome by the way." I chuckled and got up extending my hand down for her. She took it and got up following me to the stairs.

I nearly fucking fell from the smoothness of my socks against the marble steps. I hated these stairs.

"Right here." I told her hiding her down the corridor to the last room. Gavin smiled at me as he hauled the last of the bags and walked away.

I pushed my white door open and entered looking at the place. It was the same as I had left if. Black bedsheets, plain walls, a painting of galaxies spread across the back of my bed and light from a projector I got from Christmas illuminated stars above. It was pretty basic really.

West sat on the corner of my bed with a grin. "You have a pocket knife on your vanity? Fitting." I rolled my eyes closing the door behind me.

"I was as messed up now as I was before." I admitted as she shrugged off her coat and laid it beside her.

She didn't say anything as she took off her black hoodie revealing a thin tank top she wore underneath. And god help me - it was white and so tempting.

"I love this." She tapped on the stars projector. I nodded clenching my jaw. "You know I think we should probably hold ourselves here."

"What?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.

West looked at me with a smirk running a hand through her silky brown hair. "We can't do anything until I win the good side of your parents."

I groaned at her. "Aww come on. Why am I being punished?"

She snorted laying down on my bed making a hundred things run through my head. A hundred more I wanted to do on her. "You're being dramatic." She mumbled at me stretching her arms above her head to reveal the skin between her short tank top and tights. I ran a hand on my face, frustrated.

She wasn't even wearing anything under that tank top. She was fucking playing now. "You- You are not a fair player." I muttered laying down next to her.

West grinned up at me. "Never said I was." She mumbled as I placed a hand at her waist and pulled her to me.

"I can sleep with you, yeah?" I asked, hopefully."

She closed her eyes pulling the blanket higher up and tucking it under her chin. "Yeah."

I ran a hand through her hair completely excited at the amount for hinge I wanted to show her. Especially blue haven. It was unexplainable how much I wanted her to see that place.

My home.

...

"Shit." Bryce muttered fixing her eyeliner. I laid on my bed watching her as she dressed and did her make up.

"You don't even need that." I exclaimed as she applied lip-gloss.

"Shut up." She grumbled fixing her hair. "I'm meeting your family and I'm practically dying already."

"You have nothing to be scared about." I reassured her as she turned around straightening her lilac colored dress that went just down her thighs. "You look beautiful."

"Good." She nodded taking a deep breath and tying her shoelaces. "Should we get going?"

I let out an exaggerated sigh getting out of bed in my black buttoned shirt and jeans. My hair was messy and I couldn't care less. Instead I bear hugged Bryce earning a protest from her as I swayed her to the door. "I don't want to go." I confessed hotly.

She looked up at me sympathetically. "I'll be there." She assured squeezing my hand. "We'll be alright."

"Yeah..." I mumbled as we walked out and down the steps. My heart didn't quicken at the sight of my father at the table or the confrontation he might bring. I really didn't give two fucks.

"Ah Bryce you look gorgeous." My mother beamed wearing a black dress herself. West smiled sitting down next to me at the middle of the table away from my dad.

"Thank you Mrs. Mer-" She cut off as my mother gave her a pointed look. "Evangeline."

"Don't make me sound older then I feel." My mother laughed as Bryce joined her. I stared lazily at the waiter serving us food and wondering where my brother, Evan, was at?

Bryce smiled kindly her eyes checking off my father and the food in front of her.

I watched my mother nudge my father subtly tilting her head towards us. My father took a deep breath before forcefully smiling.

"It's lovely to meet you, dear. I'm Cole." Bryce shook his hand as his eyes cut at me. "Aaron."

"Father." I greeted back.

"How have you been?"

After you tossed me out? Yeah, I've been doing well.

"Good." I curtly put put. "You?"

"Better." He answered in the same tone as my mother cleared her throat. "How's school going?"

"It's going well." I pushed out. The waiter placed some steak and hassle back potatoes onto my plate and then proceeded to Bryce. She squeezed my knees comfortably and only then did I notice I had been gripping my chair hard. I released the chair and picked up my cutlery.

"Amelia and James's daughter aren't you?" My dad confirmed. Bryce chewed her food and covered her mouth with her hand as she spoke.

"Yes, sir. The one and only." My dad chuckled cutting into his food.

Both my parents looked so much younger then they were. Both looked fresh and unwrinkled and I internally thanked that I would have the same genes.

My dad looked like me except more mature. Brown-black hair, cold blue eyes and mouths made for smirking. The only difference was I was taller then him.

I chewed and chewed angrily as I ate. Not a single fucking apology was thrown at me till now. I felt livid.

As I ate, my parents made small talk with Bryce and they would often include me in their conversations but I didn't want in.

I sipped on a glass of sparkling water and nearly choked as I felt Bryce's hand rest on my thigh.

I clenched my jaw as she brought her hand slowly higher and higher making me breath harder. I looked at her but she was too busy talking to my mother. Fucking hell.

I forced my hands to keep cutting up the steak into pieces so nobody would suspect anything as she pressed her hand higher up and right onto my hardened area.

I swallowed thickly cursing under my breath as she teased me.

"...right Aaron?" I looked up confused and dazed as my mother spoke to me.

"Huh?" I asked trying to keep my voice causal.

"I was just saying how Bryce would love to see the park here. You'd take her tomorrow, right?" I nodded my eyes cutting to Bryce who was not staring at me but her lips were curled in amusements.

I didn't bother using my words knowing I would probably mutter some shit.

"Are you feeling hot?" My mother asked concerned. "You look dazed Aaron." I looked to see all three of them staring at me.

"No." I shook my head for emphasis. "Just tired."

They nodded getting back into their talks as I looked down at Bryce's hand on me. She leaned towards me and whispered, "Something the matter?" She innocently inquired. I grabbed her hand and growled into her ear.

"You keep this up and I'll have no choice but to take you upstairs, sweetheart." I let go her hand as I smirked pulling her chair quietly closer to mine.

"Small patience." She only muttered amusedly throwing a look at me. I rolled my eyes and laced my hand with hers.

We did hide the rest of our dinner and talked and laughed- well them more then me. I could tell West was trying hard not to be outright rude to my dad and it made me proud.

"Has my son being do any good in the academy or should I have to enroll him to a third times the charm one?" My dad laughed trying to keep it subtle.

Bryce threw him a tight smile and said, "Top of his grade really. I was surprised when he beat me on our English test last month. But academic rivalry is good." My father's smile dropped just a millimeter as he nodded.

"Interesting." He analyzed. "I would have expected him to fail really."

"Good thing expectations don't form us." Bryce mused as the tension rose in the room.

My mother smiled into her plate as the quiet enveloped us.

Shuffling of feet erupted though the room and I turned to see my brother stand in front of us with an apologetic smile.

Unlike me he had black hair and brown eyes. The same as my mother. I tried to look pleased as I stared at him but the only thing I saw was my father's boy.

"I'm so sorry I'm late. Traffic held me back and-" His eyes widened and face froze as he stared behind me.

I got up perplexed and so did Bryce. "What's wrong with you?"

He didn't answer me just stared. "Bryce?" He breathed.

I looked back at West who held the same expression as him. She seemed speechless as she managed to choke, "Evan."

Standing there completely out of my mind I glanced between them. "You guys know each other?"

"Yeah..." Evan spoke his words far from me. "You can say that."

"What do you mean?" I asked still lost. How did they know each other? We're they friends before? My brother didn't look like the guy who made friends for the matter.

"We met in Waylerd a few years back." Bryce swallowed not looking at me. "He was my first boyfriend."

My eyes widened as Evan spoke up, "And my first ex." He sounded pained as he said that.

I felt as if the world would collapse on me any second.

What the fuck is life? My brother used to date my girlfriend? He and
