Compared to what Bianca and the other girls were bringing, I felt like I had severely under packed for the weekend. While I only had a small duffel bag, Bianca and the other four girls had enough suitcases and bags to go on a month-long trip around Europe. I gave a Stefano a nervous glance as he walked us out of the Estate.

He gave me an amused smile. "It's not too late for you to change your mind and stay here."

I rolled my eyes and smiled. "I'm going on the trip, I'm just not used to being around so many girls. It's almost unsettling."

"Then stay." He said simply, pulling me in for a quick kiss.

I laughed. "I said almost. That's not enough for me to stay home. Besides," I gave him a quick peck on the lips before pulling away from him. "Bianca would kill me if I missed this."

"You're more scared of her empty threats than any of the real ones I ever gave you." He said, giving me a baffled look.

I laughed at the reminder of the beginning of our rocky relationship. "Yeah, but she's my best friend."

He narrowed his eyes at me. "And I'm your boyfriend."

My eyes widened in shock and I stared at him for a few seconds before bursting out into a fit of laughter.

He huffed in annoyance and crossed his arms. "That wasn't supposed to be a joke."

"No, no! I know." I said, taking a few deep breaths to calm myself down. "It's just I've never heard anyone refer to us as boyfriend and girlfriend out loud before and it just felt like such a silly thing."

He frowned. "I don't think it's silly to call you my girlfriend."

"That's not what I meant. It's just that I'm pregnant with your child and we've been through so much that it feels like a silly label for something so serious." I explained. "Sometimes it feels like more than just that to me."

His face softened. "I know what exactly you mean." Then his lips twitched upward into a smile. "So what should I call you, then? My fiancée?"

I smiled and laughed nervously. "Okay, woah. Slow down. You're not allowed to propose to me right before Bianca's bachelorette party." I joked.

"Don't worry. When I propose to you, I'm going to make sure I have as much time as I want to have my way with you afterwards." He promised, giving me one last kiss. "This is not me proposing yet. Now go, Bianca looks like she's getting impatient.

I looked and she was giving us a playful glare from where she was standing by the car. I get Stefano one last smile. "I love you, I'll see you when I get back."

"I love you too." He called out as I rushed to the car. I had a sinking feeling in my chest as I climbed into the car of giggling girls, but I ignored it. It was probably just because this was my first time leaving the Estate, and Stefano, in months. As soon as the car took off down the road and towards the private jet, I forgot about my worries.

I was quick to learn the names of the four girls I hadn't met. There was Bruna who was absolutely gorgeous with her olive skin and short brown hair. She was bubbly and excited for the weekend. Vittoria had long, black hair and she seemed more reserved than the other girls. Sofia was a brunette with absolutely no boundaries, and she wasted no time in questioning me about my relationship with Stefano. It was a lot, but I laughed off most of her ridiculous questions about our sex life. Lastly, there was Valeria, whose hair had a slight ginger tint hat matched her wild personality. If I learned nothing else on this trip, it's that she knew how to have a good time.

All of the girls did.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel room, Valeria screamed something in Italian and popped a bottle of champagne, spraying us. I laughed and ducked behind Bianca, who was quick to assign us all rooms. Bruna and Vittoria were sharing a room and the rest of us had our own rooms. Bianca's room was down the hall from our suite.

She wasn't joking when she said she booked the penthouse suite. The place was huge. It was the size of a decent apartment with a living room, kitchen and dining room. My room was off to the left and Bianca gave us all half an hour to settle in before we would start our bachelorette agenda.

I took the time to unpack my back and sent Stefano a quick text to let him know we had arrived. I sent him a few pictures of the room and a selfie to show proof of life. I set my phone down and walked into the bathroom to wash my face. As I was tying my hair up, I felt a chill run down my spine and goosebumps erupted on my arms.

I slowly brought my arms down, trying to rationalize with myself that there was nothing to be afraid of. We were all perfectly safe here and Enzo was down the hall along with some other guys to make sure of it. Regardless, I quickly flung the shower curtain open and jumped back, making my heart race. I laughed at myself when there was nothing there.

I was being paranoid.

I rubbed a hand over my baby bump and took a deep breath. I needed to relax, or I wouldn't make it through this weekend without having a heart attack. I quickly washed my face and walked back into the bedroom. I checked my phone, but Stefano still hadn't answered yet. I added that I missed him and set my phone back down.

I wasn't going to text him again for a few hours. I was feeling angsty for nothing. I went back into the living room, waiting for the rest of the girls to join us. Bianca was he last to enter the room, making us all clap and cheer at her ridiculously tacky tiara and sash.

"Let's get drunk, bitches!" Valeria screamed in her Italian accent, making me laugh. The girls cheered and I cheered along with them.

"Alaya!" Bianca said, pulling something that looked like a water gun out of her bag. "You're in charge of the alcohol gun!"

She threw it at me and I caught it before it fell. "I'm seven months pregnant, why and I in charge of the alcohol gun."

"Because you can't drink, so you're in charge of making sure everyone here gets absolutely wasted!" She explained, making me laugh.

"Who's ready to get drunk on a gondola?" Bruna asked, passing out little shooters of alcohol.

I looked at Bianca questioningly. She only shook her head at me and laughed. I forced a smile back, trying to ignore the bad feeling that was creeping back up on me. The girls pregamed for half an hour before we decided to get going.

Bianca pulled me aside. "I know we told Stefano we weren't leaving the hotel room, but Enzo knows where we're going. It'll be fine, there's nothing to worry about."

I frowned. "The last time you said that, I got a lot of shit for it."

"I know but this time is different. We have a group of big scary men following us this time." She assured me.

I thought about it for a few seconds before nodding. "Okay, I'm going to change my shoes first."

I slipped into my room and changed into a pair of sneakers. I eyed my phone on the nightstand for a few seconds before grabbing it. Stefano still hadn't answered me. I frowned and debated telling him about the gondola ride or not. I shook my head to myself and decided I would tell him when he answered me.

The gondola ride was amazing, and I was grateful that Bianca had convinced me to go. Venice was a beautiful city and touring it from the canals only amplified the experience. After, we walked around a bit with two men and Enzo following from a safe distance. Bianca, as promised, completely ignored her fiancé's existence throughout the whole day. By the time we got back to the hotel, my feet hurt from walking.

Vittoria shooed Bianca away to her room for an hour so we could decorate the penthouse. The decorations were crass, but completely appropriate for a bachelorette party. By the time we were done, I was positive I was covered in glitter. Bianca strolled back in with her hair slightly disheveled.

Sofia gasped and pointed at Bianca. "Troia! You fucked Enzo, didn't you!"

(Slut.)

"Well I certainly hoped it was Enzo!" Vittoria added.

Bianca turned red and laughed. "What else was I supposed to do while you guys decorated? It looks amazing by the way!" She said, looking around the room.

"Maybe keep your legs closed!" Sofia joked.

"It's your bachelorette, you're not supposed to be having sex with your fiancé!" Bruna said with a laugh.

I couldn't help but laugh along with them. They were an easy group to get along with and I was really glad I came. I'd be having an amazing time if it weren't for Stefano ignoring me. Part of me wondered if I had somehow done something to upset him.

Maybe Enzo had told him about our tour around Venice and he was upset I didn't tell him. I decided to pull my phone out and give him a little update. I let him know I was having fun and that we had walked around the city. I made sure to make it clear that Enzo was with us the whole time.

"Alaya, stop texting your lover!" Sofia called me out from across the room.

Valeria gasped, throwing me a pillow. "This is a bachelorette party! No boys!"

"Okay, okay!" I laughed, dodging the pillow. "I'll put my phone away!" I slid it back into the safety of my pocket, hoping that he would answer me if I just took my mind off of him.

We played more drinking games than I knew existed, and even though I was drinking sparkling water, I was having more fun than I knew I would. It felt like a middle school sleepover full of giggling girls. Most importantly, Bianca looked like she was having a good time, and that made me smile.

Eventually, Enzo knocked on the door to remind us to go to bed at a reasonable time. The girls booed at his presence and threw pillows and empty cups at him. He laughed and backed out of the room, but it made my mind wander back over to his brother.

What was Stefano doing that he hadn't answered me all day?

"Bianca, I haven't heard from Stefano since we left the Estate." I shared my worries with her.

She looked at me and smiled. "He's probably just trying to give you space so we can have fun. Don't worry too much, okay?"

I pursed my lips, still unsure.

"Trust me, I've known Stefano for as long as I've known Enzo. That man is invincible. Whatever he's doing he'll be fine." She assured me. "Why don't you go to bed? We can clean this place up in the morning."

I nodded. "Okay. You're probably right, I'm just a little on edge."

She grinned. "Is it because your due date is coming up so fast?"

I smiled. "Yeah, something like that."

I went to bed early while the rest of the group put on a movie in the living room, but it took me a while before I finally fell asleep. When I finally did, my dreams did little to reassure me as I dreamed of everything that could possibly go wrong. I was ready for this weekend to be over.
