Logan:

My wolfs never ending desire to put a pup in our mates belly was strong. When she called me telling me she wanted me to I nearly flew out of my hotel room and back to the house. Then when I saw her lying on the cold bathroom floor completely bare... I nearly did the deed right then.

The other night when she wanted me to listen to her stomach I thought that there was something there that she could hear. Turns out she was looking to see if her dream was a sign, of what was happening in real life.

I could see the disappointment when I told her I couldn't hear anything. She wants one. Just as much as I do.

When Lily and I walked downstairs this morning my mother and father greeted us at the breakfast table. It was filled with foods, pancakes, waffles, fruit salad, orange juice, sausage, bacon. . .etc. I saw Lily's smile widen and she licked her lips. I lead her to our places at the table.

She grabbed some of everything and added some whip cream to her pancakes and waffles. She chugged her orange juice and then got more. My father looked to me with a smile, only one eyebrow was raised.

My mother was in awe at her crazy eating 'daughter in-law'. I knew it was because of her heat but my mother will be assuming what's to come.

Madison sat next to her sister while holding her female. I admit holding that little female made me long for my own pups. Grace sat across from Lily and her mate James. My beta Sebastian sat next to me. My parents taking up the opposite end of the table.

"Lily, you seem to be better this morning." My mother spoke. I lightly growled and my father pinned me with a hard stare.

"Much better, I think my heat is almost over. No more pain." Lily smiled and Grace smirked at her best friend.

"So. . .Lily, my dear best friend. Shall I be expecting a niece or nephew in let's say. . .five months?" Lily looked up and shrugged at her best friend.

"We'll see." My mother dropped her fork on her plate while her eyes were wide. Grace looked a little shocked with the answer too.

"Wait. . .you two? Uh. . .are trying?" Grace asked.

"Well. I guess we are." My mother stood up at Lily's statement and brought Lily to her feet; pulling her into her bone crushing hugs.

"Mom! If you hug her like that we might be back to square one and we'll have to try again!" My mothers realization made her drop Lily and I caught her before she fell.

"It's not like it's dead set yet. It may take a few tries." Lily said and looked at me. She had hope in her eyes and I knew she was hoping we would just get lucky the first time.

"Let's just hope it all works out sooner rather than later." I say and everyone simmers into a steady conversation with themselves. I look to see Lily swallowing the last bit of food from her plate. She downs the rest of her orange juice and stands up.

"Excuse me." She takes her plate and empty glass walking to the kitchen.

"Luna! You don't need to do that. Here let me." The house keeper said quickly. Trying to not seem rude.

"Oh please don't be silly. I can handle doing a few dishes. It won't kill me." I growled and walked over to Lily.

"Lily, now. Let's walk." She shook her head and I lifted her over my shoulder.

"Logan Jeremiah Stone! Put me down you jackass!" She yelled hitting my back. I slapped her butt; she squealed and huffed.

"Oh shit Logan! Your soon-to-be baby mama used the 'J' word! You're in trouble now." I heard Milo yell from the living room. I then heard a series of laughter one of them being my little human brothers and their mates.

"More like she's in trouble brother!" I yelled back and carried Lily upstairs to our bedroom. I shut the door with my foot and I felt Lily slap my ass.

"Princess, you better calm down. Your feistiness is a turn on. I figured you'd want time to recover from last night." She gaped at me and I smirked.

"Excuse me? Who's the horny one now Mr Alpha man." She crossed her arms and I growled.

"Don't get like that Mrs Alpha female." She looked at me and rolled her eyes. Just then Lilith started crying and Lily beamed.

"I got her!" She yelled for everyone to hear as she ran out of our room to tend to the young female.  

I walked into the pink and purple nursery and saw Lily snuggling the baby and singing to her.

She was rubbing small circles on the baby's back and she stirred in her sleep. Lily kissed her head and laid her back in the crib.

When she turned around she jumped. "Jesus Christ Logan. You can't sneak up on me like that." She held a hand over her heart and I hugged her.

"I can't wait to see you snuggling our young Lily." I nuzzled into her neck.

"I'm more excited to see you hold them. You're such a giant and the babies are so small." I laughed quietly at her and walked her downstairs.

"How long does it take to be able to smell the baby?" She asks and I think.

"That's a question for my parents. I wouldn't know." We walked downstairs and saw my whole family in the living room.

"Mom, dad, can we talk to you for a second?" I asked and they stood up walking with us towards the kitchen.

"What's going on kids?" My mother asked, Lily smiled.

"Laura how long does it normally take to be able to smell a baby that's in the womb?" My mother beams.

"Funny question. I wasn't the first one to smell Logan. His father was. I think you won't be able to smell it until his scent becomes really potent. You'll be so used to it you won't think anything of it until he grows a bit more and his scent becomes stronger. I think since Logan is your mate and he notices everything different about you, he'll be the one to smell him. His scent will become stronger on you, much stronger than it was after you mated. Then he will smell the trace of a new life inside your belly. I'd say about a week after conception, Logan will be the first to notice. I kid you not." I smile at my mother and my happiness level going through the roof.

I'll be the first to know! I get to tell my beautiful mate that she's carrying my young. I look down at Lily to see happiness etched into her features too. We both want this.
