Dom's POV

(At the pack house)

"Whoever it is can wait." I say anger clear in my voice.

"But what if it's an emergency?"Stef says climbing off of me.

"I doubt it's an emergency."

(Knock)

(Knock)

"But what if it is?" She asks getting off the bed.

She puts her hand on the door knob.

"If you don't answer the door, I will." She tests crossing her legs.

Feisty and sexy.

She twists the knob.

I can sense that whomever is behind that door is male and they sure as hell aren't seeing my Stef half naked. So hop to my feet and sprint to the door just as she was about open it.

She smiles.

I open the door.

Tommy Walsh the youngest pup in the pack house stands before me.

He's only about 8 years old.

"See Caden I told you he was here!" Tommy shouts.

I hear foot steps shuffling around until Caden, Tommy's older brother who's about my age and height appears beside tommy.

"Alpha Dom, I didn't think you where here." He says looking over at Stef.

Jay is ready to rip his head off for looking at our mate.

"Well clearly I am, so what can I do for you Caden?" I ask clearly pissed off.

I pull Stef behind me, out of his sight.

"Um, I was told to tell you some news."

Caden's not to bright.

"And what might that news be." A say crossing my arms.

"Mrs. Wright is back."

"What did you just say?" I need to make sure he said what I think he said.

"Your mom is back, and she wants to see you."

'She's back' is all that plays through my mind.

"She's here, in this house?"

He nods yes.

"Tell her we'll be down in a minute."

I shut the door not even waiting for his response.

I don't even know what to say.

My mom has been gone for about a year now, due to her sister being diagnosed with cancer and living all the way in Europe.

I've talked to my mom about three times since she's left and two of those times where by text message.

I'm just lost for words right now, I mean I didn't even tell her about Stef. I have no idea how she's going to react.

Will she like her?

She has too, because I love Stef.

If she doesn't I just won't give a shit.

Stef is on the top of my list of importance.

Stef.

I look up at her.

"Well, are you gonna give me some pants or am I gonna meet your mother in my underwear?" She says sitting on the bed.

I wouldn't let her walk out of that door with just my shirt on to meet anyone, besides my dic...

I'll just keep that thought to myself.

"I'll get us some sweatpants." I smile weakly.

As I open my dresser I feel a pair of cold hands wrap around my waist and soft lips on my back. My muscles tense and relax under her touch.

"What's wrong Dom?"

"It's just that I haven't seen my mom in a while, and there has been a lot of things going on while she was gone and I don't know how she's going to react to them."

"Meaning me." She whispers.

"Not you, I know she'll love you, it's me I'm not to sure about." I answer honestly.

"What's not to love about you?" She says kissing my shoulder.

Stef's POV

(Meeting Dom's mom)

"Mrs. Wright! Welcome back." I hear max greeting Dom's mom as we enter the kitchen.

"Oh max you know your like a son to me, call me Carole.

"Is that my little Dom." The women who I assume to be Carole cheers as she makes her way toward Dom and I.

Michelle ~ My Dom! Michelle purs.

"Honey. Where is your shirt? You'll catch a cold just walking around with no shirt on, and look at your hair, you've styled it differently, and you've gotten much taller, your like a sky-scraper."

Dom is easily 5 or 6 inches taller than his mother, she's a rather small women. With blonde hair, and blue eyes just like Dom.

"Mom..."

"Dom! Who is this beautiful young lady?!" Carole shouts as she pushes Dom out of her way to get to me.

"Mom..."Dom tries again.

"Look at her, she's perfect! Uw come here." She wraps me in a tight hug.

I hear Dom and Max laughing.

"I don't think she can breath mom." Dom pulls me away from my near death and raps me in his arms.

"Oh I'm so sorry, I've just missed my family, and my Dom has found his mate, and she is just, beautiful!"

"I know." Dom whispers in my ear.

"Look at you two, so cute. Now max where this lovely young lady you've told me about."

"She's sleeping right now." Max beams.

"Well it's only...oh it's almost mid-night, well I better get to bed before your father wonders where I am."

"Goodnight mom." Dom says hugging her goodnight. She kiss him on the cheek.

"Goodnight max and...?"

"Stefanie, Stefanie Moore."

"Stefanie. Beautiful name for a beautiful person."

"I will see you all for breakfast." She calls as she leaves the kitchen.

"Let's go finish what we started." Dom whispers in my ear then kisses my neck. Leaving goosebumps all over my body and a warm feeling in my stomach.
