Chapter Nineteen//Charlotte Grayson

  Today is the day I will be a leader to hundreds of people. Hundreds. I do not like the sound of that. I'm not even a leader to my brothers and the Mood Goddess expects me to be a leader to over 50 people.

Haha.
Gotta go find that runaway car and drive off to Washington State where no one will find me. Yeah... that sounds like a perfect plan. But where am I going to get the runaway car? Oh, maybe Lola will be my hitch-women! Then we can both get away from this town and be free.

Actually, that sounds like a good plan...

"Charlotte!" Carson comes in my room with a white button up shirt tucked in his black slacks. His hair was slicked back with jell. He looked at me and smiled brightly. "Aw my twin..."

  I roll my eyes at him and get up from my bed. "Carson... I don't think I'm ready to become Luna." Carson fake gasps and I pout.

"Charlotte! You are ready for this. I believe in you. Just don't be a bitch to the pack members." Rolling my eyes again at my idiot brother, I got up from my bed and begin patting down my dress.

  Declan wanted me to wear a maroon color dress that was ankle length. He said he did not want any unmated wolves looking at my legs. The only reason I agreed to wearing this long dress was because I didn't want to shave my legs. And right now they look like gorilla's hair.

"Guys, we need to be going soon." Cam comes into the room grabbing Carson and I's wrist. The both of us groan loudly when Cam grabbed us. "Ah, hush up. Lola is waiting to see you and so is mom.." Cam mumbles and we went down the stairs quickly. Lola and my parents were right by the stairs while Charlie was standing next to Reign. My eyebrows furrowed and I started to look around for Declan.

Don't worry, my love. I'm here. Declan's voice entered my head and I started to look around more. Declan came from the right side of parents and smiled at me. I smiled back and went straight into his arms.

"Okay. We don't have all day. We need to get this done and over with so you guys can start making me some grand babies. Since Cam hasn't given me any yet." My mother claps her hands and my dad snickers, trying to cover up a laugh.

"Yes yes, we should go. The pack members are waiting." Declan nods his head and takes my hand. "You are riding with me." He whispers in my ear and I nod. "We'll meet you all there."

Declan and I pulled into the pack house driveway and many people were standing outside or walking inside. These are the people I have to watch over. This is a huge responsibility and I'm not ready for this.

Nope.
I'm just going to walk on of this car and run. Yup, that is a wonderful plan. Unbuckling my seatbelt quickly, Declan's hand shot over and pushed down on my seatbelt.

"No. You are going to do this, Lottie. You got this, I promise. You'll be a wonderful Luna," Declan looks at me with his beautiful blue eyes. My heart literally skipped a beat as my mate was staring at me.

  After my attempt to runaway, Declan and I quickly got out of the car. Heads snapped toward us and the pack members started to bow their heads. Is this what I have to look forward too? People bowing their heads like they are peasants? Declan gave me a small squeeze in my hand and we entered the pack house going straight to the backyard.
People were talking others were laughing. Most of them were getting settled into their seats in front of a microphone.

"I'm not ready for this..." I mumble lowly hoping Declan doesn't here me. That doesn't work because he pushes me to the side.

"Charlotte, this is what you are meant to do. The Moon Goddess wants you to fulfill this duty. So put on your big girl panties and let's do this." He smiles at the end and my heart started to melt.

Dammit.

Declan and I stood in the front of the pack members;everyone stopped what they were doing and went to their chairs.

"Thank you all for being here in the ceremony for your new Luna." The pack members cheered and whistled. Declan held up his hand looking around at the audience then looks at me.

"Before you accept her as your Luna, she will like to say a few words." This was news to be because I was not expecting to give a speech. Declan pushes me up to the microphone and I stayed quiet for a few seconds. Trying to put all my thoughts together.

"Hello, I am Charlotte Grayson," I pause looking around, Carson gave me a big thumbs up and Cam just have me a smile. "And I will be your Luna by standing right next to each and every one of you. I will be as helpful to you and to your Alpha. Our pack will remain strong, but we will get stronger. So please, my fellow pack members, accept me as your Luna. And Declan... accept me as your mate." I look at my mate as I finished my mini speech and the pack members cheered even louder.

Declan wraps his arms around my waist kissing my cheek quickly. "I think they love you." he whispers in my ear. Smiling, we let go of each other and went toward the members.

"She's a wonderful young girl!" A man comes up to Declan giving me a smile. I give him one back and he nods his head at the both of us. Other people came over and nodded their head as respect. It was heart warming that these people actually accept me.

"Aye! There's my best friend," Lola comes over wrapping her arms around my neck, hugging me tightly.

Coughing a little,"Okay Lola. Okay!" She loosens her grip a little then smiles brightly at me.

"Now get to baby making," my mother comes in winking at the both of us. I felt Declan stiffen behind me and my cheeks were heating up.

"Alright honey, let's leave them alone. C'mon kids." My dad saves me from the embarrassment. I nod my head at him and he nods back.

Turning to Declan, I look up at him a little. "So about that baby making..." He trials off and I cover my cheeks quickly. I did not want him to see how red my cheeks are right now.

"We can start right now and ditch all these people...." He whispers in my ear, licking my earlobe like a pet dog.

Bringing my head up to his ear, I bite his ear lobe quickly,"Not so fast. There is food. So I'm going to eat first." I smile brightly at him and he groans loudly.

"God you are such tease Charlotte."

SORRY BUT THIS WAS NOT EDITED NOTHING WAS EDITED LOL. SO THE LAST CHAPTER. IM not too fond of it but I am glad it is over. So praise. I have no idea if I should do a sequel but for now check out my other stories.
