I froze! I can't believe he took me here out of all places!

I am so shocked and nervous. I dont know what to do. How do you communicate with a person who is dead?

I looked back at Aidan and then all of my nervousness went away. Weird right? He grabbed my hand, intertwined our fingers together and started walking to his mom. He stopped a few feet away from his mom and turned to face me.

"Wait here Kitten, I want to prepare her."

I wasn't sure what that meant, so I just nodded. I decided to give them more privacy, so I went behind a tree nearby and sat down leaning on it. I heard Aidan whispering something but I couldn't make out the words. Besides if he wanted to tell me, he would. Since Aidan was still talking to his mom, I decided to look around. Sadly, there were too many graves. It's sad to see this. I started thinking of their lives, especially Elizabeth Anderson's life. She was the closest one to me. She had a lot of flowers at her grave. I assume she was well liked due to the amount of flowers. I began to image her. I imagined her tall and beautiful with an amazing life and dying in her sleep (because Im sure that is the most peaceful way to die).

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw Aidan's tall figure covering my view. "Kitten Ive been calling for you for a few minutes now. Are you ok?"

I shake my head yes. "Sorry I was just thinking."

He held out his hand and helped me stand up. "Its ok. C'mon I want you to meet my mom."

I nodded my head again. I didn't know what to say.

We stopped at a grave which I assumed was his mom. It read "Pamela Jensen. Beloved mother and wife." That was all that was written. Short, sweet and to the point, I guess.

Aidan was looking at me while I was looking at his mom.

I leaned down closer to her. "Hello Pamela, I'm Hailey. Hailey Chambers. I'm good friends with your son as Im sure you now know. I just wanted you to know that your son grew up to be a great guy. He can be a pain in the butt and stubborn at times but he's an amazing person."

I got up and stood by Aidan now. He was still looking at me. I didn't know what he was thinking. Then he began to smile, his real smile.

"A pain in the butt huh? Kitten have you met yourself?"

I nudged him. "Yes I have and I know Im way awesomer than you."

Still smiling he said, "There is no way anyone in this world is awesomer than me."

I shook my head. "Conceited much?"

"No just honest."

"Nope you're conceited."

We began bickering back and forth until we heard a few chuckles near us.  We turned to see an elderly couple watching us bicker. They were visiting the grave I was just at- Elizabeth Anderson's.

The lady spoke. "Burt dont you remember being young and in love like that?"

Burt smiled sincerely. "Ofcourse I do Diana. How can I forget?"

I walked up to them. "Are you relatives of Miss. Elizabeth Anderson?"

Diana nodded. "Yes she was my sister. Did you know her?"

I shook my head no. "No, I was just sitting by this tree and imagining her life. Sorry to bother you."

Diana slightly laughed. "Oh you're not bothering us. I am just curious to know what you had imagined."

I smiled. All eyes were on me now. "Well I imagined her tall, beautiful, blonde curly hair, dressed well living a fantastic life and passing away in her sleep."

Diana and Burt looked sad now. Diana's eyes began to water. Did I say something wrong? I looked at Aidan and he was looking back at me confused. He put his arm on my shoulder for support.

Burt began to speak. "Im sorry about Diana over here. Its just Elizabeth's life wasn't anything like that."

Diana nodded. "Yeah sorry about me. I just hope she's living the life that you imagined for her now. But you got one thing right- she was tall. She had brown hair with brown eyes. Here let me show you a picture."

She pulled out a picture of the beautiful Elizabeth and began to tell me her tragic story. We all sat down by the tree and listened. Aidan held my hands again (intertwined our fingers). It was the saddest story I have ever heard. After an hour, Diana and Burt decided to go home but they did invite Aidan and I over their house. They gave us their number and insisted we come one day. Silently, we walked back to Pamela's grave. I felt bad because we ignored her.

Aidan and I sat down near Pamela. Aidan began to pour everything out. I guess he was saddened by the story he just recently heard.

Aidan began to tell her everything; about Jenny, his dad, himself and even me. He wasn't crying but he looked angry. I held his hand like he did to mine earlier.

I decided to speak, "Aidan do you feel better?"

He shook his head yes. "Yeah I do. I also weirdly feel closer to my mom. I haven't been here in quite a while. I'm just glad you came with me."

My heart sped up. I smiled. "I'm glad I came too. Wanna come here once a week and keep your mom updated with the high school drama life?"

Aidan looked at me. I again wasn't sure what he was thinking because he was rock solid.

After a few moments of silence he spoke, "How did you do it?"

I gave him a confused look. "Do what?"

He luckily smiled, "Amaze me even more?"
