Lily Howard was in love. She knew it would happen eventually, but she never thought it would be with Nate fucking Jacobs. I don't even think Nostradamus could predict that shit coming. Lily had never had a boyfriend before or even knew what a penis looked like until last night. To Lily, no one had ever made her feel as good as Nate Jacobs. And it felt so fucking good, it was kind of criminal.

But Lily thought about a lot of things. She always tended to be an overthinker. She would overthink about Nate a lot and sometimes she wondered why he chose her? Nate was no doubt one of the hottest guys in school...well objectively...I couldn't really give a fuck. Lily was sweet and everything Nate wanted, but she was still wary about his past. The past that included all the girls and his dad. His fucking dad was the nightmare that stopped Nate from truly being happy. She wanted to be his escape or his free getaway car, but she also knew that she couldn't give him every part of her. But another half wanted to give him everything. Her time. Her mind. Her body. Everything. Although, she has learnt from Cassie's mistakes and she knew it was all about balance. It was that simple.

Lily also wondered about the small things in the future. Like when their first fight will be and would it be hurtful? Would it be like one of those fights in the movies, when the girl cries her fucking heart out and the boy always comes back. Or will it be a simple case of true lovers fighting, but without gloves. The 'gloves' that people wore to protect themselves from getting hurt, but sometimes lovers don't care. The worst fights are with the people you truly love..take that shit from me. But it wasn't the fights that scared her...it was him leaving her and deciding she wasn't the girl he wanted. The pain of him leaving now was too much for Lily to handle.

Lily was downstairs with her sisters, Maddy and Kat, when she heard her mother speaking to Rue.

'Hi' Rue said softly as she held her stomach in pain

'Are you okay?' Suze asked with great concern, 'You don't look to good'

'Hey Rue' Maddy smiled as she pulled Rue into a huge hug

She was followed by Cassie, Kat and Lily.

'Are you sure you're doing good?' Suze asked again, 'I mean you look terrible...like really terrible'

'I think I'm coming down with a cold or something' Rue lied, 'Can I use your bathroom?'

'Of course' Suze said with a smile as she watched Rue ran up the downstairs, 'She's not doing good'

All Lexi could do was stare at her friend and her mother's interaction. She had no words for Rue anymore. All she wanted to do was run away scared, but she knew her friend was hurting. In this same moment, Suze had made her way to the phone to call Leslie immediately.

'Are you calling Leslie?' Cassie asked as her mother nodded simply.

All of the other girls walked into the living room and waited for Leslie to arrive. This was going to be another intervention, but they all knew Rue would take it as an interrogation. Leslie had rushed over to see her daughter, who was now sitting in front of everyone in agonizing pain.

'Oh Fuck' Rue said softly as she fell to the floor on top of the stairs, 'It will never fucking end'

'This can't make you feel good' Leslie begin her speech, 'You are ruining your friendships and I'm sure that doesn't make you feel good'

Kat and Maddy quickly glared over to Lexi, who was sitting on the coach with held back tears. She hated seeing Rue like this.

'I don't care' Rue said simply and cold, 'Just leave me the fuck alone'

'I know you're in pain' Leslie said as she walked closer to the bottom of the stairs, 'But if you get into the car and we can take you to the hospital'

'I'm not getting clean' Rue argued, 'I can't do that shit'

'Well you don't have to' Cassie suddenly added, 'Just take it one day at a time'

Cassie smiled brightly as she turned to everyone in the room. Suze nodded in agreement, which followed the other girls to nod subtly in unison.

'Hey Cass?' Rue suddenly asked

'Yeah?' Cassie responded softly

'How long have you known about Mckay's and Nate's bet?' Rue asked harshly

'What?' Cassie asked with a sudden frantic tone

'Bet?' Maddy added in while looking between Rue and Cassie

'Yeah Nate's bet with Mckay to see how long it would take for him to fuck Lily' Rue said harshly and then gripped her stomach in pain.

Everyone looked over at Lily like she was on fire and she was. She felt like her heart had fallen out of her body and the feeling of pins/needles were beginning to form on the end of her toes. She was freaking out.

'Is this true?' Maddy asked to Cassie with furrowed eyebrows

'I-' Cassie began frantically, 'No it's not. She's a drug addict'

'Rue, when was this?' Maddy asked, 'How do you know about this?'

'Just after the town carnival' Rue explained and moaned again from the pain inside of her, 'I heard it from someone'

But before Maddy could ask who and where. Cassie was already pleading guilty.

'Lily' Cassie begin with tears already falling down her reddish cheeks, 'I'm sorry I thought a joke'

'So it is true?' Lexi butted in and choosing to stand next to Lily, 'You knew about this'

'Can I please explain?' Cassie cried out

'Cas that's really bad' Kat finally added in, 'Like really bad'

Lily couldn't even speak and move from her spot next to Lexi. It was like she was put in some type of sleep paralysis, but she wasn't sleeping. She was in reality and it was a fucking nightmare. She probably looked like a ghost.

'A bet for what?' Suze questioned as she looked over at Lily, 'Did you sleep with him?'

Lily couldn't even answer, before Maddy was already screaming for her.

'Let's call him' Maddy challenged harshly, 'If it's just some kind of fucked up joke by Christopher, I'm sure he will clear it up. Right Cassie?'

Cassie wasn't sure. She narrowed her eyes over to her younger sister in utter shame and guilt.

Maddy quickly grabbed the phone from Cassie's hand and dialed Mckay's number. It didn't take long for him to answer to 'Cassie'.

'Hello?' Mckay picked up the phone

'Hi it's me' Maddy said with a threatening tone, 'What the fuck is wrong with you!'

'Woahhh' Mckay laughed slightly, 'What is happening?'

'You tell me' Maddy challenged, 'Is it true?'

'What are you talking about?' Mckay asked with a confused tone.

'Did you make a bet with Nate to see if he could fuck Lily?' Maddy asked still looking directly at Cassie while holding Cassie's phone between her hands.

'Yeah but it was a joke' Mckay brushed it off quickly, 'And he didn't take all of the money anyway'

'Money?' Kat butted in with pure shock and looked over to Lily with her hand over her mouth.

'How much?' Maddy asked but Mckay was not answering, 'How much did that asshole take from you?'

'I don't know' Mckay responded, 'Around $300. I was drunk when he asked for it'

There it was. The foundation was set for their first and last fight. Lily felt like she was going to be physically sick.

'You dumb fucking bitch' Maddy screamed at him, 'How dare you?'

Lily didn't look back when she decided to run up the stairs and straight past Rue. All the others quickly followed after her. Maddy had basically thrown Cassie's phone at her, before running up the stairs. Cassie was the last to follow them. When Cassie arrived in the room, Lily was locked in their shared bathroom.

'Lily' Cassie cried as she walked right up to the door, 'I'm sorry Lily'

'What the fuck Cassie?' Kat cried back, 'Why didn't you say anything before they got serious'

'I didn't know it would end this way' Cassie cried pathetically like a toddler waiting for their bottle, 'Lily please let me explain'

'Fuck you' Lexi suddenly yelled, 'I would've never done this to you. Lily would've never done this to you'

'Why are you blaming me?' Cassie screamed back at the top of lungs, 'Nate is the one who fucked up'

Just the thought of Nate hurting Lily made Maddy's skin crawl. Everyone knew they had a history, but she never thought he was capable of doing this. It was plain evil.

'I don't care' Lexi screamed back, 'I can't believe you would do this to her! You only care about yourself and whatever guy you are fucking'

'That's not true' Cassie said extremely defensively

'You're a fucking coward' Lexi yelled before storming back downstairs.

Kat, Cassie and Maddy were left in the room in silence. Kat started to make her way out of the room, before Maddy spoke up.

'Fix this' Maddy warned Cassie with a stern tone.

They both walked out of the room and Kat closed the door behind them. Cassie was now left in the silence of her own consequences and the sounds of her sister's covered cries. She knew Lily was not going to open that bathroom door for her anytime soon.
