Lily was still in Maddy's tight grip when they made their way over to Kat and Jules. Both of the girls smiled at them, but wondered why Maddy had a strong grip on Lily's arm.

'Just found this bitch in the bathroom' Maddy chuckled, 'She had been gone for an hour and half'

'Jez Lily' Jules commented, 'What happened?'

Lily truly didn't know how to answer this question. She wanted to tell them the truth, but she just couldn't bring herself to say it out loud.

'Cassie was being a bitch to her' Maddy answered with half of the truth, 'So she hid away from everyone!'

'Damn Lily' Kat added, 'Are you okay?'

'I'm fine' Lily assured them with a smile, even if the smile was fake.

She stood by her friends and decided to grab a drink. She really needed one after what happened. Lily could still feel the wetness in her underwear and Nate's lips on her own. She started pouring herself a drink when she spotted him walking down the hallway. Her heart stopped when Nate walked over to speak to Mckay and Cassie.

'Nate is here?' Maddy yelled over the loud music, 'I haven't seen him'

'Yeah me too' Kat commented, 'I mean he's not hard to miss'

'Maybe he just got here?' Lily lied to add something to the conversation

'Yeah maybe' Maddy said shrugging off the idea, 'Let's dance'

She grabbed Lily's arm once again and pulled her out to the dance floor. Lily took a sip of her drink and felt Maddy trying to get her to dance. But Lily didn't want to dance. She wanted Nate to finish what he started.

Lily's hand was suddenly grabbed by Maddy once again as she was playfully forcing her to dance. She laughed at Maddy and appreciated that she was trying to make Lily feel better. But Maddy didn't need to. Lily just wanted to be back with Nate.

In this same moment, Nate was trying to act 'normal' and tried not to draw attention to himself. The truth was he had never felt more horny in his entire life and all he wanted was to be back with Lily. He stood next to Mckay and Cassie as they talked about shit he didn't care enough to listen to. He decided to walk away from them to try and find Lily again, but he couldn't see her, over the sea of other students. It seemed like half of East Highland was there.

Nate scoffed in annoyance while making his way through everyone to grab a drink. He pushed other students out of the way nicely, even if he wanted to push everyone to the ground for not moving out his way. He finally made it to the drink table and started to think about what drink he wanted. Although he wasn't the biggest fan of tequila, he started to fill up his cup. While filling up his cup, Nate's thoughts start running wild. The vivid thoughts about what he would've done to Lily if Maddy hadn't walked in. His back was turned to everyone at the party when he felt a sudden present beside him. Josh Davis.

'Hey man' Josh said as he grabbed the bottle of vodka in front of him, 'You having fun?'

Nate looked toward Josh and immediately felt annoyed. To Nate, Josh was a total loser, a liar and someone who broke Lily's heart.

'Yeah' Nate said, 'What about you?'

Nate was now standing to his side with a drink in hand. Josh chuckled at his question.

'It's been alright' Josh said simply, 'Mckay always throws decent parties, but I don't know, I feel like tonight is boring'

'Why?' Nate asked curiously, 'Where's your girlfriend?'

'Lily?' Josh said with a serious tone but then quickly laughed, 'Just fucking with you... nah Jessica is somewhere'

Nate began to breathe in heavily through his nostrils and wondered if Josh thought Lily was a joke.

'So what happened between you and Lily Howard?' Nate asked holding onto his drink with a tight grip

'Lily?' Josh asked and then laughed, 'It wasn't serious and she's a fucking prude anyway'

Nate stood back in surprise, 'Prude?'

'Yeah man' Josh drunkenly laughed once again, 'She's a fucking prude. We fucked once the whole time we were talking. She didn't even suck me off' 

Nate's eyes widened when he heard him talking about Lily in that manner. Lily Howard was not a prude, which was brand new to Nate. He felt a familiar fire build up in his stomach, but this time it wasn't because he was horny. He was mad. He was mad that he would lie about sleeping with Lily. She was too good for him.

'Yeah that's a shame man' Nate chuckled as he changed the subject, 'Did you make any New Year's resolutions?'

'Honestly man..' Josh trailed off, 'Not getting fucked over by any of the Howard sisters'

'All of them fucked you over?' Nate asked as he held a tighter grip on his drink

'Most of them' Josh laughed, 'Cassie's probably the hottest'

At first, Nate wondered if this was a simple statement, however he quickly observed Josh checking out Cassie from the other side of the room.

'Anyway happy New Year' Nate said as he watched Josh reached up to shake his hand

Nate bit the inside of his mouth and could only feel the anger build up inside him. He was usually a verbal kind of fighter, but not right now. Nate quickly reached over and smashed a vodka bottle across Josh's face. Nate's hit perfectly got Josh right in the face as blood started to quickly gush out of his face. However, Josh managed to grab Nate by his collar and drag him onto the floor. Josh was now hovering over Nate and punching him continuously with his full force.

One thing Nate forgot was that Josh was a black belt in Taekwondo. He really picked the wrong guy to fight with. Nate was being punched quite hard when he heard screaming around him. He could only hear snippets of people screaming and calling Mckay for help. He felt Josh being dragged off of him when he saw Rue and Jules holding each other in the corner of the room.

Nate could feel himself falling asleep and his blood was now gushing out of his face. He looked over to see Mckay pushing Josh around and yelling at him. He then looked up to see Lexi and Fezco in pure shock.

Lily was sitting with Kat when she heard everyone suddenly screaming. She ran over with a sea of students trying to see the 'entertainment for the night'. Lily usually didn't mind observing drama when it happened at parties or school, but this time she felt her heart drop when she saw Nate's bloody face. She quickly pushed everyone out the way, including Maddy and Lexi. She ran beside him holding his arm.

'Someone help!' Lily yelled over the loud music, 'Cassie call 911!'

Maddy and Lexi looked down at Lily completely stunned and shocked. Cassie quickly responded by calling 911 with Mckay's home phone.

'Nate?' Lily whispered but he did not respond to her

'We need to get him to the hospital' Maddy commented as she kneeled down next to Lily

Lily could feel tears building up in her eyes as she stared at his extremely bloody face. She wondered if Nate could hear Maddy speak or knew what was going on? However, Nate knew exactly what was going on, but he couldn't bring himself to speak. He looked up at Lily and Maddy with his extremely blurred vision. He took his time trying to figure out if Maddy was trying to say, but all he could think or look at was Lily.

Lily Howard was crying for him and not Josh. Lily was the one standing beside him as everyone just watched him bleed out on the floor. Nate swore he could see a subtle light shine around her like some sort of angel. But Nate didn't have enough time to think about it before passing out.

'I think he's passed out' Maddy said simply, 'He really needs the hospital'

Lily looked up at her face with tears running down her face. She turned back to see Nate with his mouth wide open and his eyes closed shut by his obvious bruising.

'Cassie!' Lily screamed, 'Help!'

Cassie just quickly nodded and didn't question why Lily was so upset. But Lexi did. She watched on while Maddy, Cassie, Lily, Mckay and other guys at the party picked Nate's lifeless body off the floor. They all hurried out the door.

Lexi took the time to look around the room and see if she was going fucking insane?! Did she just see her twin sister cry over Nate Jacobs? She noticed that Rue and Jules were still holding onto each other in shock.

'Damn' Rue whispered to Jules.
