The following morning I woke up feeling nauseous and I knew that could mean only one thing.

I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom to puke. I wasn't feeling well at all.

I jumped in the shower and scrubbed myself and when I got out I brushed my teeth before Dane walked in.

"Morning Love. Did I hear you throwing up?"

"You did and that can mean only one thing, Dane."

"Oh wow! You think you are pregnant?"

"I do think so but I need to stop and get a pregnancy test on the way to work if you don't mind."

"Yeah, I don't mind. Let me get a quick shower and then I'll go take care of Kayden." He said.

"I can go get him dressed. He likes to put them on himself because he's a big boy." I laughed.

I walked into Kaydens room and he was laying in the bed holding his Angie deer and I smiled at him.

"Morning sweet boy! Are you holding your Angie deer?"

"Yup momma Angie." He said hugging it tighter.

A tear sprang to my eye and I wiped it away before walking over and sitting on his bed.

"Are you thinking about her Kayden?"

"Yeah." He said crawling on my lap.

"Well, your momma Angie she loved you very much and was so excited to meet you Kayden," I said kissing the top of his head.

"Love you, mommy."

"I love you too Kayden so much," I said leaning him back and kissing him all over his face.

Dane walked in and smiled when he saw us. "Come on champ let daddy help you get dressed while mommy gets ready."

"Ok, daddy." He smiled jumping off the bed running over to Dane.

"I'm going to go get dressed," I said walking to our bedroom.

Before I could put my clothes on I had to run back to the bathroom to throw up again.

I am definitely pregnant. I myswell go ahead and make a doctor's appointment who am I kidding.

I finally got dressed and when I made it downstairs Dane and Kayden were in the kitchen eating breakfast.

"Are you guys ready to go?"

"Sure we can be. Are you ok love?"

"I threw up again so I just need to get a test," I said.

"Are you going to take it at work?" He asked.

"Yeah, I plan to," I said picking up my bag and Dane's briefcase since he was carrying Kayden.

He buckled him in and we headed down the road when I asked him to pull over because I had to puke again.

"Mommy!" Kayden said crying.

"I'm ok Kayden mommy just don't feel good," I said reaching back touching his leg.

Dane took him inside the preschool and then stopped at a pharmacy and went in and got a few pregnancy tests.

When we walked into work I went straight to the bathroom even though my dad was calling my name.

I peed on two different sticks and sit them on the counter while I sit on the toilet to wait.

I heard a knock at the door. "Love let me in."

I opened the door and Dane looked at the counter and then at me. "Are you ok?"

"Nervous but waiting to see those two lines or the word pregnant," I said.

"Is this a happy thing Pria?"

"Of course it's a happy thing, Dane. I love Kayden but I'm excited to have a baby with you." I smiled.

I washed my hands and then walked over to him in the tiny bathroom and wrapped my arms around him as he held me tight.

My timer went off and I turned around and picked up both sticks and one had two pink lines and the other said pregnant.

I looked up at Dane and smiled as he smiled down at me. "I'm so happy love."

"I'm happy too. I'm going to call and make an appointment with Dr. Jessup just to confirm so keep it to yourself for now."

"My lips are sealed." He said pulling me close kissing my lips.

"Let's go see what dad wants. I love you, Dane!"

"I love you so much Pria. You make me so unbelievably happy."

I kissed him again before walking out and putting the sticks down in my bag.

I walked to Dad's office. "What's up dad?"

"I just wanted to say hi and I need a couple of files sweetie I have court this morning."

"Ok just give me the names. What about Yvette does she need any files?"

"I'm not sure but she's in her office just ask her." He said.

"You ok Pria? You look a little sick." He said.

"I'm ok dad just tired is all." I smiled walking to Yvette's office.

"Morning Yvette. Do you need any files?"

"Yeah, just a couple if you have time." She smiled.

"Of course I have time I have to go get some for dad."

I walked by Dane's office and he was on the phone so I held up a sticky note and he knew what I meant and handed me a list.

I went back and gathered all the files and after I handed them out I called Dr. Jessup's office to make an appointment.

By lunchtime, Dane came out and we walked across the road and grabbed a sandwich and some baked chips.

"Did you make an appointment?"

"Yeah I did and I can go tomorrow at 1," I said.

"Damn I have court tomorrow and I can't go with you."

"Do you want me to change it then?"

"No, you go ahead as long as you don't mind going alone." He said.

"I wanted you to go but I understand when you can't leave because of court. I'll video everything for you."

"Sounds good love. Hoping for a boy or girl?"

"I'm scared to say but I'm hoping for a girl since we already have a cute little boy."

"I'm hoping the same and that she will be as beautiful as her momma." He said winking over at me.
