Once everyone left but Sofia and Holden stayed to help us clean everything up.

"So big brother you did it. You got the girl and it all went smoothly."

"I know Sofia... They say you only find one love in your life but I found two and there isn't a day I don't think of Angie but I know she would want me to move on and I'm very happy."

"I can see the happiness in all three of you. Kayden is a very happy little boy." She said.

"I think Pria makes me a better person. I couldn't love a person more. The love I have with her is so different than the love I had with Angie."

"I think Angie would want happiness for you Dane and I can't wait to help Pria plan this wedding."

Pria walked out with Holden. He had helped her put the pizza and cake away while we cleaned up all the plates and cups and party hats.

"Where is Kayden?" I asked.

"He's asleep laying on the couch." Pria smiled.

"Can Aunt Sofia and Uncle Holden put him in bed?" Sofia asked.

"Sure but you have to change his diaper and also put his pj's on him if he will let you. Sometimes he fights in his sleep. Plus I have a bottle waiting for him if you want to give it to him." Pria said.

"Sure we can do that. Come on Holden." Sofia said walking into the house.

"Sounds like them two want to know what it's like to raise a baby huh?" Pria said sitting down on the couch.

"I didn't think of that but maybe she isn't telling us something," I said sitting down beside her.

"Dane I love my ring and I am so shocked that you proposed to me. I had no idea and didn't see it coming."

"That's the best part is that you had no idea what was going on and well I did ask your dad's permission."

"You did? What did he say?"

"He said I was waiting for this day, Dane." I laughed.

"I guess I need to go get the last of my stuff out of his house then huh?"

"Yeah, I think we should Pria. I mean he seems serious with this new woman he has been dating and maybe we can meet her soon."

"From what I hear she's no tramp or a gold digger but a lawyer herself." She said.

"What is her name?"

"Yvette Shader." She said.

"Oh yeah I have heard of her and she is a firecracker. I think Simon may have met his match." I laughed.

"Maybe we should invite them over for dinner one night and meet this woman." She smirked.

"Now your talking. Well, we better go throw this away and see how it's going with Kayden." I said grabbing the trash bag.

We walked inside and I could hear Kayden screaming "Mama!!"

"Duty calls." She said running up the spiral steps.

I finished gathering up the trash and took it outside to the can and when I walked back in Sofia and Holden were coming down the steps.

"No one beats his mama when it's bedtime." I laughed.

"Yeah, he peed on Holden and bit my shoulder and was screaming mama so I give up." Sofia laughed.

"Oh, man Holden do you need to borrow a shirt?"

"Nah I got it off with water. It was just a little pee. Nothing serious." He laughed.

"We are going to head home but thanks for inviting us over and I'm really happy for you Dane."

"Thanks for coming guys and I'm happy for myself as well. I have a beautiful woman waiting for me upstairs." I smirked.

"Oh eww, don't talk about my best friend like that big brother." Sofia laughed as they walked out the door.

I locked the door and set the alarm and cut the lights out before heading upstairs and found Pria in Kaydens room rocking him and singing him a story.

I smiled at her and pointed down the hall to our room and went to go get ready for bed.

I wasn't sure how long she would be so I pulled out my laptop and started working on the cases that I have scheduled for next week.

Once Pria finally made it to the bedroom and set the monitor down on her bedside table she looked over at me. "I'm pooped."

"We had a great party love don't you think?"

"Oh yes, I think I mean look at this ring I got at the birthday party. Someone must love me very much." She smiled over at me.

"He must be loaded and loves you with all his heart."

"His heart has been mine for a long time. Now I just have to get him down the aisle and take his last name.

"Pria Cresswell has a nice ring to it."

"That it does. I guess we need to figure out soon our wedding date and where?" She said.

"How about the little church where we grew up? I remember you walking in with your mom in your frilly dresses." I smiled.

"I loved those frilly dresses just as much as she did. Gosh, I miss her but I hope she's smiling down on me."

"I know she is. She and Angie are probably best friends too. Kayden has his grandma and his mom looking down on him watching over him."

"I hope so Dane I really do. Losing my mom at such a young age your mom really stepped up for me when we had dances and she always made me feel at home."

"I don't know how you feel thankfully but I know each loss is different and hard and losing Angie made me want to live my life differently and not be afraid to take chances and that's why I proposed to you today."

"Because you want to take chances Dane?"

"No, I want to lock you down." I laughed leaning over kissing her lips.
