Today makes a year since Angie passed and life has really changed. I miss her but I wouldn't change what has happened in my life.

Before work, we stopped with flowers and put them on her grave and Pria made a picture with Kaydens handprints and we taped it to her grave.

I wasn't sure how to feel about the whole day but I knew life must go on. Angie would want that for all of us.

I bent down and laid my hand on her grave. "I love and miss you Angie and I always will but I hope that you would be ok with Pria and me together. I hope in some sort of way you brought her to me."

I brought my fingers to my lips and kissed them and then touched the marker again.

Once back in the truck I was quiet because my mind was all over the place.

I felt Pria's hand slip into mine and squeeze. I looked over at her and smiled.

We dropped off Kayden and headed to work. When we pulled up we saw a vehicle in the parking lot and looked at each other.

"Wonder who that is?" I asked.

"I guess we will find out when we walk in let's go." She smiled.

We walked in together and it was quiet and Pria looked over at me and raised her eyebrows.

I watched as she walked to her dad's office and knocked on the door. "Dad?"

"Just a second sweetie." He hollered.

Pria turned and looked at me and covered her mouth and when the door opened her dad was straightening out his tie.

"What's going on in here dad?" She asked.

I couldn't help but smirk when I saw Simon basically sweating and walking away.

"Umm, I was talking to a client." He said.

"More like fucking dad?" Pria asked.

I have never heard Pria talk like that to her dad but the look on Simon's face was something else.

"Pria I didn't teach you to talk like that."

"And you also didn't teach me to have sex at work in your office either dad. Is it Eliza again?"

He gulped... "Umm well no.

An older woman walked over to the door and held out her hand and Pria wouldn't take it.

"Sorry I don't know where your hand has been," Pria said and walked away.

Simon was rubbing his forehead and I couldn't do anything but stand there and smirk.

The woman left and Simon walked up. "Pria I need to see you in my office.

"No thanks dad I'm not interested." She said.

"I didn't ask if you were interested I said come to my office." He said.

"And I said no. I'm not coming into your sex den. No thanks!"

"Pria I know you are mad and I'm sorry but I couldn't help myself."

"Then take it somewhere else dad. You don't see us doing that in here do you?"

"Not while we are open anyway," I said.

Pria shot me daggers and I just walked onto my office while they kept arguing.

A couple of hours later she walked in to see if I needed any files and I told her no I was all good and pretty much ready to go.

"I'm ready to go as well." She said.

I cut my light off and followed her out the door where Simon came out. "Are you both leaving?"

"Yeah, we are going to pick up Kayden and have a quiet night," I said.

Pria wouldn't even look at her dad. I looked over at her and she was picking up her bag and put it over her shoulder.

"Pria will you ever forgive me?" Simon asked.

"Of course dad. I just have a lot on my mind today but please stop bringing your skanks to the office." She said as we walked out.

"Bye Simon," I said as I followed her out.

Once in the truck, Pria had her head laying against the window. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"My dad is just a pig. That hasn't been the first woman that he has brought in the office."

"Pria you can't really judge him because we did the same thing."

"Just once Dane and dad wasn't even there. Nothing like what we just walked in on." She said.

We pulled up at my parent's house and I went inside and grabbed Kayden and then we headed home.

We didn't speak on the way home and once in the house she took Kayden upstairs to diaper and feed him.

Once that was done I took him downstairs with me so she could pump the milk she had been holding in all day.

"Kayden do you want to watch some soccer?" I asked him holding up his stuffed soccer ball.

Kayden giggled and we sit down and watched some tv until Pria came downstairs dressed in some comfy clothes.

She sits down on the couch beside Kayden. "I'm sorry for earlier Dane it wasn't your fault and I guess I shouldn't have put that on you."

"It's fine Pria. I don't blame you I just know today is an emotional day and I understand." I said.

"Now that is settled what do you want for dinner?" She asked smiling.

"Pizza sounds good to me. How about you Kayden?" I asked tickling his belly.

"I will get it ordered then. Same as we always get?" She asked.

"Sure sounds good to me Pria."

She ordered it and sit down beside Kayden and pulled him into her lap and smothered him with kisses.

I'm so happy that Pria loves Kayden as if he was her own child. I am so blessed to have her in my life.

I leaned over and puckered up my lips and she kissed me.

Her phone beeped and she looked down and she laughed.

"Dad said I love you Pria and I'm so sorry for my actions earlier and I'll never bring another skank to the office."

"What an apology." I laughed.
