I could feel it. My time for revenge was coming. I was getting stronger by the day and the other CPU's are almost completely drained of shares. The only shares they get are from the small population of 5 000 to 8 000 people who are pretty much all fangirls and fanboys of the nation. We now had the most shares ever in the history of Gamindustri! Maxing out at 87% of the total shares in the world! Each nation either had 3% or 4% of the total shares. We were finally fighting the winning battle!...That was the good news...the bad news is...I've been given the task to train Yellow Heart and test her abilities every time her share count goes up. I like being around her, sure. But not really when she's trying to beat me into pancake batter. I make sure to bring the Titan whenever I test her since it's the only thing holding her back from going overboard and "accidentally" killing me. Yellow Heart actually sees fighting as just playing. I keep telling her that she needs to take every battle seriously but, she'll always be herself. Ruby, if you haven't already guessed, is not happy with this. Whenever we're done, Ruby always sends my damage report to Anonydeath as a complaint of his training methods. I don't really care though. As long as we have our medical ray, I'll always be good for health. Eden recently made a breakthrough in medical technology and invented the medical ray. No need for surgery or stitches with this thing. The pervasive beam of the medical ray burns the pain away, cauterizing even the deepest of wounds. Bioactive isoray collimator stops external bleeding as well as internal hemorrhaging. Particle beams move any broken bones back into place and burns them back together. It's a bit creepy but, the irradiated brain forgets all trauma and may once again focus on the task at hand. Eden scientists thoroughly studied the effects of the irradiated brain and discovered that no negative reaction happens. It greatly helps our healing capabilities on the battlefield. You just need to remove the bullet and put them in the beam for a few seconds and bam! They're all good and ready to fight! It happened to me a couple times after I was wounded. It feels a bit tingly. Thankfully, I have no scheduled training sessions today. I was in my quarters just reviewing some combat scenarios with Ruby and checking to see if Ruby was working as she should be. I was almost done with the basic systems check when I heard a knock at my door. Who would be visiting me today? I walked over to the door and opened it and saw none other than Yellow Heart standing right in the doorway before tackling me to the floor.

-"I thought I didn't have any training sessions today!" I said in protest.

-"Come on Nanuk! It's that time again! Let's play!" she said in her usual happy tone.

-"No! I don't have any sessions planned today!"

-"But I wanna play!" she said in a huffy tone.

-"Well you're just gonna have to deal with it for today!"

-"Hmph! No! I wanna! Let's PLAAAAAAY!!!"

-"If I say yes, will you get off me?"

-"Sure! I just wanna play!!!"

-"Fine, just go to the battle dome 7, okay? I'll be there soon."

-"Okay! Don't be long!" she said as she ran out of my room towards the battle dome.

...

-"I thought I'd get a day off today, but I guess not." I said to myself.

-"Pilot, I advise against engaging in combat with her, she is a highly dang-" I cut her off.

-"You always say this every time I'm about to train her."

-"I always do so because there is a 2.9% chance of you coming out of that battle unharmed."

-"Being "unharmed" doesn't necessarily mean "dead" Ruby. I know what I'm doing."

-"You do not, actually. I am connected to your brain functions and you are displaying elevated levels of dopamine. Having high levels of dopamine for a extended period of time can result in your brain being susceptible to making choices that are not the best. Conclusion, you do not know entirely know what you're doing." Ruby said as I finished putting on my battle armor.

-"Whatever, I'm doing it anyway." I said as I grabbed my helmet and walked out the door.

I took the elevator to the Titan bay and walked towards my Titan. Before I was about to embark, a rank 2 scientist walked up to me.

-"Wait! Wait! Nanuk!" he called out desperately.

-"What? What is it?" I said.

-"I...*pant*...I am proposing...*pant*...that I give you a new Titan." he said, stuttering through his lines.

-"What?"

-"We have just developed a new class of Titan and we'd like you to test it for us, seeing as you've been officially given the promotion of "Pilot". This new design has more maneuverability, a small boost to the previous armor and increased speed to give you an advantage while using a sword!"

-"Wait, sword?"

-"That's right! We gave this Titan a sword to work with! Of course, it still has its guns as weapons but it has a sword for melee combat! Myself and the rest of the crew are very excited to see how it turns out! So what do you say?"

-"Well, as long as you don't mind it being destroyed on the first day. I'm going to train Yellow Heart now in battle dome 7."

-"Oh no! It's not a problem at all! We already have an extra model as a spare so it's fine."

-"Gimme a second." I said.

I turned and took a few steps away from him.

-"Ruby, what say you? Should I try it?" I asked.

-"I recall him saying that this model has increased armor and a sword for close quarters combat...I'd say we give this model a try."

-"Oh yeah, that reminds me."

     I walked back to him.

-"By the way, what's the name of this model?" I asked.

-"Oh! It's called, "Virtuoso", due to its fine swordsmanship." he said.

-"Alright then, we'll give it a shot."

-"Excellent, excellent! I'll go prepare the Titan for connection with your A.I.." he said as he started to walk off.

-"Hey! The "A.I." has a name you know!" I said to him.

He turned to me with a slightly confused expression. After a few seconds, he realized what I meant.

-"Ah yes of course that's right that's right, you have the special one named Ruby, correct?" he asked.

-"Yeah, yeah that's her name."

-"Of course, of course, um...my apologies. I forgot about that." he said as he walked off.

That guy was strange. I won't judge him though. If I remember correctly, he's the one that created the medical ray technology. He may be an oddball but he sure as hell knows what he's doing in the laboratory.

-"Alright, let's go see what this "Virtuoso" Titan is like." I said as I powered down my usual Titan and headed towards the elevator.

It took me down to the battle domes where what I assumed to be the Virtuoso was being prepared. I approached the crew working on it and they cleared a path to the Pilot seat. I approached and took a second to examine it.

-"Ruby, connect." I said.

-"Connecting..." Ruby said.

After a few moments, the Titan was on its feet and looked like it was fully ready for combat.

-"Well, how is it Ruby?" I asked.

-"I have calculated that we have a chance for 14% extra combat effectiveness." Ruby said with a different voice than usual.

-"Alright, let's go."

The hatch opened and I embarked.

-"Transferring control to Pilot." Ruby said.

-"Alright, I'm gonna have to break in this new seat but other than that, the controls are pretty much the same." I said as the battle dome doors opened.

I walked inside to see Yellow Heart already in the process of fighting our prototypes of military robots: Spectres

She was cutting em' up like they were nothing. Once she noticed me, she stopped everything she was doing and just looked at me while hovering across the dome. She must not realize it's me. I opened the hatch and let her see that it was me.

-"Alright, let's see how strong you are today." I said.

-"I'm ready! I'm ready!" she said excitedly.

-"Of course you are." I said as I got back into the Titan and got into a battle stance.

She seemed pretty pumped too. I could tell she was pretty confident.

She made her claws appear and still looked pretty happy.

She was the first to attack, charging towards me with her right claw raised. I managed to dodge the swing and punch her in the back, sending her flying into the wall. She just laughed as she got up.

-"Again! Do that again!" she yelled happily.

I merely waited for her next attack. She charged again and swung with both arms straight down. I just barely blocked the attack with my sword and pushed her back but she continued her assault by swinging again and again and again. I was barely able to hold my ground since every swing would knock me back a few feet. I eventually deflected one of her swings and slashed at her directly, again, sending her flying. She regained her balance quickly and charged forwards. Doesn't she have any long range attacks!? I was either blocking or dodging her swings at me. The sword really helped, though.

-"You're lasting way longer than usual! Usually you'd be beaten by now!" She said as praise for my ability to stand my ground.

-"Well you haven't gotten any weaker, that's for sure." I said.

-"Daddy says I'm always getting stronger!"

-"Daddy?"

-"Yeah! Daddy always tells me how good I am at fighting after I beat you!"

Well THAT'S encouraging...but seriously, who's this "Daddy" person? Whatever.

-"Let's keep going! Your turn!" She said, waiting for my attack.

I pulled out my gun and started firing at her. She was so fast and powerful that she was either blocking them with her arms or just dodging them altogether! I kept firing, trying to aim as accurately as possible. After a while I started running forwards while shooting and, once I was close enough, I pulled out my sword at the last second, jumped and swung at her. She was ready though; she dodged by an inch and rushed for me. She pushed against me as hard as she could until I crashed into the ground. My armor was almost depleted. I had to fight with everything I had if I wanted to set a record!

-"Ruby! Maximum overdrive!!!" I cried out.

-"Maximum overdrive initiated." Ruby said.

The exhaust vents on my back opened as my power core glowed brighter than ever. With all the energy I had left, I attacked at full force, not letting her regain her balance for even a second. I was swinging over and over and over. I noticed that my overdrive fuel was running out and I holstered my sword. I rushed towards her while she was off balance and punched her, HARD, sending her all the way to the far side of the dome. Before she could recollect herself, I ran over, jumped into the air and smashed her further into the wall with my hardest punch. I retracted my arm and felt the power systems failing. I let the Titan fall back to the ground with a loud crash, sending dust into the air. The Titan was sparking and I couldn't move or activate anything. I opened the hatch and got out. I wasn't hurt, it was just the Titan that was destroyed. I started walking away from the wreckage, making my way towards the exit until I heard something behind me. I turned, only to be met with a fist hitting me right in the gut. I was struck with such immense force that I felt a few of my ribs cracking. I crashed through a triple-layered plywood wall and landed on a rough, concrete floor. That really hurt. I guess that's what you get for going all out on a goddess with immeasurable power. I looked up to see Yellow Heart standing above me, looking perfectly fine, giving me a surprised look. Is she surprised that I'm down after that?! I'm pretty sure any normal human would be at least injured, if not dead, after that punch! Well, I know what I'm putting on her battle report.

I was barely able to say anything before blacking out.

-"Get...help...Need...medical ray." I said in a barely audible voice.

-"Okay! I'll protect you!" She said a she threw me over her shoulder.

I don't know how she goes from "wanting to hurt me pretty badly" to "I'll save you", but whatever. If I can get to a medical ray station, I'll be fine...I hope.
