Nanuk P.O.V.

Once we had returned to the remains of the explosion, the Basilicom was barely intact.

-"Pryce. Damage report." I said.

Pryce scanned the area before speaking up.

-"We have suffered critical damage to all major systems, Diamond. It will be some time before we can get the Basilicom and surrounding buildings up and running again." he said.

-"Ruby." I said.

Ruby displayed a video feed on my visor. It showed the last few minutes before the power surge. It showed a very glitchy silhouette of someone raging and then pressing a button on some sort of keypad.

-"So it was a person who crippled our nation. Whoever it is will move quickly to exploit any perceived weakness." I said.

-"Surely they aren't foolish enough to launch a direct assault, Diamond?" Pryce said.

-"If it's who I think it is, he has grown decidedly more ruthless since our previous battle...but I have an idea." I said.

-"What is it?" Histy asked.

-"Follow me." I said as I made my way to the place where the maximum security used to be.

Thankfully, it was still intact. We entered the busted door and I quickly found what I needed. We both left again and headed to the remains of the power core. Once we arrived I pulled out the object I obtained earlier and was about to insert it into the core but Histy stopped me.

-"Nanuk! What are you doing?" she asked.

-"I'm following my idea." I said.

-"Nanuk, as Planeptune's Oracle, I strongly advise against this. A CPU core's regenerative properties are impressive, but the side effects...there's no telling how it might impact the Basilicom."

-"All of us have CPU cores in us. Infusing the Basilicom with one will allow any CPU of Planeptune to manipulate the Basilicom as if they were one...and together, we'll finally end Anonydeath."

??? P.O.V.

-"You fool! How were you not able to take over with your new ability?! So much for your precious army..." Anonydeath said.

-"I know, but we should hit them right now while they're vulnerable!" I said.

-"Hold on you narcissist, Nanuk's nation may be grounded, but let's not forget that we remain vastly outnumbered. Especially since he has somehow added your former army to his ranks."

-"Then maybe it's time for me to assemble my drone airstrike."

-"Or for us to consider more extreme measures, my dear..."

We went to the storage facility and I opened the gate with the most destructive weapon we have.

-"This relic? Anonydeath, are you sure you want to do this?" I asked.

-"While I am reluctant to deploy a weapon of such extreme caliber, especially one that was forged by the ancient's hands, this may be our only chance to rid this world of him...of all of them." he said.

Nanuk P.O.V.

The somehow still functional mechanical arm grabbed the CPU core and inserted it into the firebox entrance. I know it isn't a good idea to burn the energy of a CPU core, since it can be used for something that can give eternal power, but this is our only option to get the Basilicom back instantly. There was a short delay before I felt the power from the power core increase. The color of light emanating from the machine changed from its usual color to a radiant purple. Suddenly the parts of the Basilicom that used to be on the ground raised and reattached to the overall form of the Basilicom. For some reason however, the Basilicom was...changing. It was transforming! I didn't think of this! It's changing into its own CPU mode! After the tremors and massive shock waves of the transformation ended, Histy and I returned to the balcony except...it wasn't a balcony anymore...

The whole Basilicom turned into a colossal warship!...Now that I think about it, this isn't all that bad.

??? P.O.V.

There was suddenly an alarm that went off and Anonydeath dashed to the control panel.

-"What's happening?" I asked.

-"This is not good. I'm detecting a massive energy spike right in the center of Planeptune. It appears to be share energy." he said.

-"..."

-"Are you alright?"

-"We have no choice...get the little trinket ready!"

-"Right away!" he said as he ran off to arm the relic.

We have a golden opportunity and I do not intend to lose it, even if it means lives will be lost.

7 MINUTES LATER

The relic was armed and we were at the outskirts of the Planeptune borders.

-"Holy crap..." Anonydeath said upon seeing the monstrosity before us.

I don't know how, but the Basilicom had changed into some sort of giant warship!

The primary cannons armed themselves and aimed towards us. I gave Anonydeath the relic.

-"You get this thing to the ship! I'll draw their fire!" I said.

-"Got it." he said.

I made multiple clones phase out of my body and start gaining the attention of the gunners. Anonydeath was making good progress of advancing on the ship. It seems like they still knew he was there though. Something came out of the bottom of the ship and aimed at Anonydeath. It seemed to take him by surprise as a beam hit him dead center of the chest. He didn't seem to be hurt, he just plummeted to the ground and stayed there. Probably some sort of knockout beam, better avoid it...but this just got complicated. No one was transporting the relic! I quickly made even more clones, they're expandable, and rushed to grab the relic. I got a grip on it and started flying towards the ship. There was a problem though, my clones were being destroyed faster than I was making them. Eventually, I had used all of my power and got hit with a missile, sending me to the ground. I was vulnerable and just waiting to be shot down by the ship. But that never happened. The ship instead retracted its guns and started flying off in some random direction slowly. My energy recharged and I was able to create 7 clones to bring both Anonydeath and I back to base.

Nanuk P.O.V.

-"Where are you going?! I said CLOSER!" I yelled at the pilot.

I needed to reclaim that weapon of the ancients and prevent it from causing any further damage! But somehow, my own pilot's failed to follow my orders!

-"Diamond Soul, the ship seems to be navigating itself." The pilot said.

-"Override." I said, frustrated.

There were a few beeps before a loud crash was heard. I turned to the pilots with anger.

-"The systems are bypassing manual contr-" he was cut off by the control panel which electrified him.

     We all stared in awe.

-"It appears the ship now has a wheel of its own." Pryce said.

-"Impossible! Trace the problem to its source, and FIX IT!" I said.

-"Do not tamper with my systems, this will be your only warning." An unrecognized voice said.

-"Warning?!" I said.

-"My mission assumes priority. Any Gamindustri resident or CPU who interferes...will be neutralized." The voice said.

It was then that I realized the voice was the ship's itself! Maybe the CPU core wasn't a good idea.

-"My own Basilicom dares to address us in threatening tones?!" I said.

That's when Pryce walked up to the mainframe.

-"It also seems to be doing a better job at finding the locations of potential leads on Anonydeath than we were. It's already found a new set of coordinates." Pryce said while pointing to the mainframe.

Nepgear pulled up a holographic map of Gamindustri.

-"And judging by our current course, that is precisely where the ship is headed." Nepgear said.

-"As we all desire. You see, this warship is nothing more than an extension of our wills combined." I said.

-"Your will is NOTHING. The information will belong to me." The voice said.

-"We are the CPU's of Planeptune! I command you to cease operations!" Purple Heart spoke up.

-"You are no longer in command." The voice said, powering up something.

A ball of light started glowing from the ceiling and my head started hurting insanely. It seemed to be the same for every other CPU in the room. Pryce grabbed my shoulder, attempting to help somehow. Once the pain died down, I turned back to Pryce.

-"Regain control of this vessel...by ANY means necessary." I said.

I grabbed the intercom to the whole Basilicom.

-"ALL HANDS! Cut power to the mainframe and disconnect data relays, NOW!!!" I yelled into the microphone.

I heard many footsteps running through halls and stayed at the command center to make sure nothing was leaked to our enemies.

??? P.O.V.

We had Anonydeath in the medical bay. I might hate him but I need him alive if this plan's gonna work. One of my clones was at the vital observer, checking his vitals.

-"Well? What's his condition?" I asked.

-"He's alive, but we've never seen this form of unconsciousness before." It said.

-"Nanuk's crossing the ocean, setting a course for the island nation!" One of my clones said.

-"Wait, we can track them? Why isn't the signal encrypted, like usual?" Another clone asked.

-"None of this makes any sense. They had me in the cross hairs but they just took off. They even bailed on getting the relic." I said.

-"Well, if the signal isn't encrypted, maybe the communications relay is open, and-" I interrupted one of my clones.

-"Are you suggesting we just call Nanuk and ask him what's happening up there?!" I said.

One by one, all of my clones just raised their shoulders and put on an expression that said: "What other option do we have?". They had a point, if we were going to retaliate in any way, we had to do some recon first.

Pryce P.O.V.

I entered the decryption room and checked the progress of the ship. I noticed that it already found a second lead on Anonydeath. I radioed Diamond.

-"Diamond, the ship has picked up a second set of coordinates. Perhaps we should permit it to continu-AHH!" I said as I felt the beam hitting me in the back, knocking me out.

The last thing I heard before blacking out was the ship's voice.

-"I do not require permission." It said.

Nanuk P.O.V.

Crap, it got Pryce too. I was making a sprint to the main power core. I would rip out the CPU core itself from the ship if I had to. I finally arrived at the core and was about to tear out the CPU core.

-"This mutiny...ends NOW!" I said as my hand grabbed the CPU core.

It was too late though. I felt a laser impact my back and all of my attempts to move were in vain. This was not good.

??? P.O.V.

-"Rogue outpost Omega One, to Planeptune warship. Nanuk, please respond." I said into the microphone.

There was a pause of about 20 seconds before I spoke again.

-"Nanuk, respond." I said.

There were a few beeps, indicating someone connecting to the transmission.

-"Nanuk has been relieved of his command." A voice said.

-"Who is this?" I asked.

-"Who is this?!" The voice said.

-"Have you taken control of the Planeptunian warship?" I asked.

-"I am the warship. Any Gamindustri resident or CPU who interferes with my mission will be neutralized."

-"What mission?"

-"Priority one--discover search coordinates to get information on Anonydeath's whereabouts."

-"For what purpose?"

There was a short pause before it cut the connection.

-"It hung up? Rude." One of my clones said.

-"Rude?! There's a Planeptunian warship flying around and collecting information that could expose us all!" Another said.

Being clones, they don't have the exact same personality as I do so it's hard to deal with sometimes.

-"Hold on...a warship filled with an incapacitated crew." A different clone said.

-"Point?" The same clone from before asked.

-"This could be our only chance to slip aboard and cause some serious damage. Maybe wipe Anonydeath from the system, as our creator once did." The clone said.

-"Ingenious. I will infiltrate the Planeptunian warship." I said.

-"Not ingenious, you saw what it did to the crew, Nanuk probably included." One clone said.

-"But hey, it had all of us in their sights and we're still breathing." Another said.

-"The systems may be blind to clones." Another clone said.

-"Very well. You will all fly to the warship, but at the first sight of trouble you retreat, got it?" I said.

-"Understood." All of them said in unison.

-"Now, in order to destroy as much intel as you can, you will need a compatible destroyer drive." I said as I handed them the drive.

-"A what?" One of them asked.

-"It'll allow you to "break" the system, in short. Now go! We don't have much time before it reaches its destination!" I said as they all flew off.

10 MINUTES LATER

-"Team to base. We're in." One of them said over the radio.

-"Good. Their data core should be accessible from any console." I said.

Once they arrived at a console, one of them was really worried for some reason.

-"Look! The ship's already decoded two sets of coordinates."

There was a few beeps before the same clone spoke up.

-"Three!"

I heard them discussing and doing pointless things before one of them noticed something.

-"Um, why is the warship heading for Leanbox?" The clone asked.

-"Because that is where first set of coordinates are located." Another said.

-"What would info on Anonydeath be doing in Leanbox?" One of them asked.

-"Anonydeath has been here for a long time, almost as long as me. He's been to that island in the past. Long before the nation was built atop it." I said.

-"Which means...if the Basilicom wants this one...it may have to move some buildings out of the way." Another clone said.

-"Our mission just got complicated. How do we deter this ship?" One of them asked.

-"I would advise disabling the navigation module. Call up the main navigation menu." I said.

I heard the sound of electricity sparking and someone toppling to the ground. One of them messed up, didn't they?

-"System access detected. Interference will not be tolerated." The same voice from the transmission said.

After a few minutes of everybody staying quiet, the voice spoke up again.

-"Reveal yourself." The voice said.

-"The camera doesn't see us." A clone said

-"Yet...The ship must not be scanning for clone-based life-forms. But once it widens its search parameters..." I said.

-"We're toast." A clone said.

-"You're coming back." I said.

-"No. There are millions of lives at stake in Leanbox, and we're currently the only ones who can do anything about it." The same clone said.

-"You're out of your element. These readings, the Basilicom's rapid recovery all point to the fact that Nanuk employed a CPU core to repair it." I said.

-"Hold on. If you're saying the ship is fueled by a CPU core, we can dump it, right?" One of them asked.

-"Hmm. You'll need to remove the warship's CPU core. Follow the main overhead conduits. They'll lead you to the power core." I instructed.

The only reason I'm saving the citizens of Leanbox is because I need them alive for my future plan. After a while of them trying to figure out where they were going, they found something they didn't like.

-"[all gasp]"

-"What, what is it?" I asked.

-"Looks like Nanuk had the same idea. His hand is grabbing the CPU core but it looks like he was stopped right before pulling." A clone said.

-"Unfortunately, you'll have to remove the CPU core manually. Which is never going to work with his strength." I said.

I patched into the visor of one of my clones who was currently climbing up the same way Nanuk did. My clone made it to the top and pulled on the CPU core with all her might but wasn't able to move it.

-"I am infested with duplicates!" The ship's voice said.

Looks like it finally spotted them on the cameras. It only saw the ones still on the floor and not the one trying to remove the CPU core. A mechanical claw started chasing the clones until it got all of them into a corner.

-"All parasites will be eradicated!" The voice said.

-"HEY! Over here!" A clone said.

The claw turned its attention to the singular clone and started chasing that one. The claw got in front of "me" but "I" was standing in front of Nanuk. I knew the clone already had a plan. The claw charged forward at full speed but the clone was able to seep through the fingers and the claw smashed into the back of Nanuk. Nanuk started toppling and, with the CPU core still firmly in his grip, gravity took over the rest. The CPU core was extracted and was in Nanuk's hand. The hated shine of power core dimmed back to its natural color and the pipes were restored with natural fuel. The claw immediately changed priorities.

-"Critical power̵ ̡dra͠i͟n͏...I ́͜à̶̕ḿ͜...in...command. Prepare to be......n̡͠e̶̡̛u̢͡͞t̵̕r̷̢̨҉ą̀̕͟l̛i͏̴̸̕͡z̀é̵́d̵̵̴̢͡

The normal humming of the power core came back as the claw retracted. Their job was done. They were about to turn to leave but suddenly, Nanuk's body fell limp instead of stuck. The effect was wearing off. They had to get out of there. They quickly ran back to the data terminal from before, soldiers and staff waking up beside them as they ran by. I was already outside the warship, seeing if they'd need help. They finally arrived, but there were already guards there waiting.

-"Halt! On your knees!" The soldiers said, Commander Pryce standing behind them.

I guess now would be a good time to make an entrance. I bashed through the hull and knocked out the three guards. Commander Pryce was the last to go down. We all flew off knowing that we were able to destroy something that could jeopardize my plan. Anonydeath was waiting back at the base.

Nanuk P.O.V.

Okay, never doing that again...like EVER. I entered the data terminal control room and saw Pryce just waking up.

-"Diamond Soul I-" I cut him off.

-"You let them escape?!" I looked up at the terminal to see a bunch of data was missing."With vital intelligence!"

God dammit! I don't know who the hell pulled out the CPU core for me, OR who even got on this ship without being knocked out, OR who's the person responsible for deleting intel, but I'm super mad and grateful and the
