"You certainly took your time."
Taehyung's impatience was clearly showing, tapping his foot on the ground arms crossed.

"Hmmm you know an injured person can't just leave the infirmary like that without a checkup."

"But you're not even injured- anyway please we don't have time let's go."

It was beyond midnight so there wasn't long left till the sun would rise, they had to make it when it was still dark.
While waiting he'd been thinking; his thoughts were all over the place but one thing kept recurring to him. He came to the conclusion that whatever Taehyung may be, no matter how powerful, he wasn't the one they wanted. If they truly wanted him they wouldn't cause such a fuss, but this was like a war, with the excuse of wanting Taehyung back.
They held Namjoon in captive to lure someone towards them, and that couldn't be Taehyung... but he just couldn't pinpoint anything any further so his plan was simple.

"We go to the backside of the palace near the fountain and I'll take it from there. After that you either come back or help fight."

"I'm confused." Jimin pouted.

How did you manage to become a soldier when you can't even take simple orders?

Sigh* "Just get me there I'll guide you where I can!"

"Alrighty, hey look there's Jinnie hyung!"

"WHAT!!"

Jin was storming towards them, his presence looming over them by each step he took.

"Uh oh, is he mad or something?" Jimin whisper-shouted to Taehyung.

"Taehyung." Jin called.

Taehyung pulled Jimin towards the opposite direction to where Jin was coming from urgently.

"Taehyung stop there."

"No." He muttered under his breath.

"Taehyung STOP NOW."

Silence.

Taehyung shivered at the harsh tone of the alpha and Jimin quickly noticed holding him by his shoulders.
As soon as Jin reached them Taehyung's eyes were drenched in tears.

"Look Taehyung I'm sorry for using my alpha voice. But you can't go. Don't think of it." He grabbed Taehyung's arm pulling him back inside.

"NO!" Taehyung cried out as he struggled under Jin's grip but freed himself stumbling backwards. "I'm not going back!"

"Taehyung you have to stay here to stay safe, Jungkook told us to take care of you here. They're fighting to protect this kingdom, to protect you-"

"I don't care! I don't want this kind of protection! Why must I always have to be protected by someone! This is all happening because of me, you were all right back then, I really am a mistake to this world!"

"No Taehyung you know I never meant it back then-"

"Don't stop me hyung. I promise you I'll send them all back. Please I've ruined the peace of this kingdom, I hope they'll forgive me for that."

"You don't need to worry about it! That's got us to take care of!"

"No please why can you understand hyung! I'm scared! I have this horrible feeling that whatever is going on there isn't anything like we're assuming. I'm sure father has other plans they don't want me back it's all a trap!"

"What do you mean? He doesn't want you then who- could it be Jung-"

"Don't say it hyung!!" Taehyung did everything he could to avoid it, and it scared him how all of a sudden everything seemed to fit...

"Taehyung they don't want you so stay. I'll send someone to alert them to guard Jungkook, for now come inside-"

"I don't care if they want me or not I'm going. I'll fix everything and I'll save my Jungkook. Watch me."

He smiled weakly through his tears as he looked about the view he had in front of him.
He'd been so happy he still couldn't believe it all, this place was like his heaven.

I'll never forget this.

And then he turned his back to everything he'd called his home.

Jimin was beyond confused at the sudden outburst. Jin approached him and told him,
"Stay with Taehyung wherever he goes, don't leave him. And make sure he gets back with all of them."

Jimin nodded and then he ran after Taehyung to catch up after him.

Writing short chapters is so much fun!!! I think I can update more like this 😆
