"Ight errbody get y'all ass in here!" I yelled at the guys.

I had been at the trap all day with Mark and Korie. We been thinkin' trynna come up with a way to find Carmen ole sneaky ass.

My baby been up all night for the past two nights, cryin' and plottin'. I ain't never seen or heard some of the shit she talkin' 'bout doin' to Carmen when she get her.

"Wassup boss?"

"Where Scope ass at?" I asked lookin' for him to be securin' the door.

"He ain't been here in a few days man." My nigga Doe said.

"Ain't been here in a couple days? Then why ain't nobody inform me? That's a no call no show! We don't do that shit." I mugged around the room.

"I'll call him." Doe said steppin' out the room.

"We got a mad bitch on the loose," I said cutting straight to the point, "her name Carmen. You may have seen her around. This her." I held up a picture giving to someone to pass around the room. "We watchin' the streets for this bitch, no rest until she's found."

Head nods filled the room as the picture was passed back to me.

"Aye Doe! Did you get that nigga?"

"Nah man, he ain't answerin'."

"Ight, muhfuckas want a pop up, cool." I snapped my fingers adjourning the meeting.

Korie, Mark, and I walked out ready to head to this nigga house.

Khadijah
"Hi, I was calling to speak with Marlene White, is she available."

"Yes, let me transfer you to her room, one moment."

"Thanks."

I tapped my fingers on my kitchen island, waiting for the phone to be answered.

"Hello?" The raspy voice spoke.

Mentally rolling my eyes, I prepared my next words.

"Let's cut the bullshit, where is Carmen?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Marlene please don't make me come up there, because if I do, it won't be pretty."

"Oh Khadijah, these lines are recorded for our safety reasons, so I would cut the threats."

I huffed and gathered myself. "Okay, where is Carmen?"

"I don't know, honestly the last time I heard from her was two days ago. She came up here and said she'd get her revenge on those who deserved it, and she's saving me for last. She was with someone, a guy, I can't recall his name." She explained.

"Hmm, did you tell anyone in your facility about the threat?"

"No the guy she was with had a box cutter to my neck and they said if I told anyone about their visit, I would regret it."

"And this guy she was with, any features you remember?"

"Uhh, tall, bald, light-skinned, with a scar on his right cheek right under his eye."

"Okay, I'll get back with you later. Thanks." I hesitated saying the last part, before hanging up.

When I get my hands on this bitch, she better hope I can contain myself. Because I have some things planned to do to her, I don't want to kill her right away.

I had been thinking about Mo all day, and I just couldn't come to terms with her being dead. I mean, how could she be dead? After all she's survived through her life, how would a worthless bitch such as Carmen knock her off so easy. Something in my heart just wouldn't let me believe she was gone, Mo was a soldier. But I saw the evidence, the house, the car being there, not answering the phone, all the signs were there.

I fiddled with the best friend bracelet that sat on my wrist, I had held on to this for all these years because somehow I knew I would see Mo again, it was just a feeling I had in my heart, the same feeling I have now.

But maybe it's her spirit lingering around, letting me know she's still with me spiritually if not physically.

"If only I would've answered the phone!" I yelled out in frustration.

I blamed Korie for this happening to Mo, but in all honesty, I blamed myself. The night I went out with Trey, I turned my phone on silent and put it away so we wouldn't be disturbed. I saw the missed call from her, and instead of calling her back right then, I said I would call her back later.

I can't help but think, would this have happened if I would've answered, or even called back.

I felt myself sinking into a depression as I thought about how I let my best friend get murdered.

Standing up from the stool, I went to the pantry and grabbed Trey's unopened bottle of Hennessy. I didn't need a cup because I would be drowning my sorrows into this bottle.

Trey

We finally pulled up to this nigga house, and no doubt his car was here. In my mind I'm thinkin' he must be dumb as hell to miss out on mandatory work, but imma give him the benefit of the doubt.

Korie, Mark, and I hopped out the car and walked up to his door. I knocked and stepped back, waitin' for this nigga to open up and explain to me why he been m.i.a. I heard a few footsteps before the locks turned and the doors opened.

Scope's eyes almost popped out his head when he saw me. Which leads me to believe he up to some snake shit.

"Wassup scope," I crossed my arms, "I heard you ain't been to work, what's up?"

"Man, I tried callin' you but I ain't get no answer."

I pulled out my phone and went to my call log. "Scope look at my shit, do you see yo damn name in here? Quit playin' with me bruh, because right now I'm calm, don't push my buttons further than you already have."

He looked around outside his house, I guess checking to see if I brought more people.

"You gone let us in?" Korie stepped forward.

"What the fuck? Y'all got a warrant?" Scope chuckled and tried to close the door, but Korie's foot stopped it.

"Break my foot, and imma break yo muhfuckin face." Korie spat through clenched teeth.

Mark quickly pushed the door open and pulled his gun. Scope held his hands up in surrender and backed further into the house.

"What you hidin' Scope? Two years and you turn to a snake?" I put my barrel to his head.

"Man, I ain't no damn snake I swear bruh. I ain't did shit, I had to deal with some shit."

Just as I was about to speak I heard footsteps upstairs.

"Baby, what's takin' you so long?" The feminine voice said.

I nodded my head to Mark, tellin' him to get the girl. He ran up the steps with his gun pulled and cocked, while Korie and I held our guns to Scope's head.

"You ain't gone believe this shit!" Mark yelled.

Turnin' my attention to the steps, a smug grin played across my face as Mark held Carmen's neck in his hands and he dragged her down the steps.

"Well, well, well, look who the fuck it is." I put my gun back in my pants and clapped my hands.

I turned back to Scope and shook my head. "You know you dead right?"

"Do what you gotta do man, I stand by mine." He clenched his jaw and lifted his chin.

"Oh this lil nigga got heart!" I laughed and turned to the guys. "But that shit don't phase me, none."

I drew my fist back and punched him in his jaw, knockin' out a couple teeth. He stumbled back and fell to the floor holding his jaw. I starting stompin' him any where I could, hearing bones crack and seein' blood everywhere. He started chokin' and groanin'.

"You can't play a muhfucka who invented the game lil nigga."

'BANG'

I shot him right in between his eyes and turned around seein' a fearful Carmen.

"Awe nah," I walked to her, "I ain't gone do shit to you, but my baby gone beat yo ass. You think I'm crazy? Let's just see who crazier." I laughed and pulled her out the house.

I called my clean up crew and gave them the address to come clean up the mess and get rid of the body.

Once you cross me, ain't no comin' back. I don't care who you are, I don't care if it was my closest nigga, if I trust you and you show me you ain't loyal, then imma off you with no hesitation. Ion play that shit, and it's time for people to learn that.

I drove to the house and shut the car off, me and the guys hopped out and pulled Carmen ass out with us.

When we got in the house, it was quiet. I told them to take her to the basement and I went to look for Dijah.

"Baby!" I yelled walkin' up the steps.

I opened our room door and saw Khadijah stretched out on the bed sleep. She hadn't been gettin' much sleep since we found out Mo died, so I guess it finally hit her. I looked on the nightstand and saw my bottle of Hennessy and it was a little bit missin'.

She couldn't hang.

I walked back out to head to the basement. I wanted to ask Carmen a few questions before I let Dijah get her hands on her.

"So," I sat in the chair in front of the one she was tied up in, "what was you and Scope's motive behind everything? How long y'all been plottin'?"

"You killed my man, so I figured I'd kill you. I never wanted to hurt nobody else but you." She smirked.

"Who the fuck is yo man?" I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Dre'Mon, you killed him, the man I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with."

I started laughing uncontrollably, so hard tears formed in my eyes.

"Ok," calming down from my laughter, "what about Scope?"

"I did a lot of research on you, so I knew who worked for you. It was easy gettin' to him seeing as though he figured he'd get the thrown if you were to die."

"Yeah, well you see where that got him. And as for you," I pointed at her, "I'll just let my baby handle that."

"You blew up Monique's house?" Korie interjected.

"Wasn't my idea, because like I said, I was after one person and one person only," she looked my way, "but Scope thought it'd be a good distraction for a few days, to get done what needed to be done." She shrugged.

"Yeah, well my sister will be down here to get done what needs to be done, bitch." He squatted before her.

Standing up, walking out of the door with Mark and Korie, I waved at her with a smirk.

She good as gone.

When we got up the steps, I closed and locked the door that led to the basement.

"I'm fenna go get Dijah."

Just as I was about to walk up the steps, there was a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" I asked as Korie and Mark cocked their guns.

"Trinity!" She yelled.

The guys put their guns away, and I opened the door.

She barged in clearly upset.

"Who tf burned down Mo's house?!"

"Carmen, but we got her." I looked at her with sorrowful eyes.

"Yeah make sure Mo get a chance to beat her ass." She plopped down on the couch.

Me and the guys looked at each other, wondering who was gonna tell her, and of course, it was left to me.

I sighed and rubbed a hand down my face before I sat down beside her.

Over the month and some days that Mo has been out of the hospital, Trinity, Khadijah, and Mo had all gotten super close. Trinity thought of them as her big sisters, so this was gonna break her heart.

"Uh, when the house blew up, Mo was in it...she's dead Trin." I placed my hand on her shoulder.

She looked at me like I was crazy before she burst out laughing.

"Why you laughin'." I sat there thinkin' she must be psyco.

"Because," she tried to breathe from laughing so hard, "Mo is outside on the phone with her insurance people!" She laughed slapping her knee.

"What?" We all ran to the door, and sure enough Mo was outside in the car, on the phone looking furious.

"Oh my damn." I laughed a little myself still trying to wrap my head around everything.

Mark was already out the door and in the car hugging all over her, while Korie stood there with tears in his eyes, not believing what he saw. Shit I couldn't even believe it.

"I gotta go get my baby!" I shot up the stairs and ran into the room.

Khadijah was still sleep, so I ran over to her body and kissed all over her face.

"Move." She groaned pushing me away.

"I got a surprise for you." I cooed.

"What?" She slightly opened her eyes.

"You gotta get up and come downstairs to find out." I smacked her ass.

"Ouch, idiot." She climbed out of bed and slipped into her black yoga pants and a yellow tank top.

"Wait," I stopped her before she walked out, "put this on." I put one of her thick headbands around her eyes.

I guided her out the room and to the steps.

"Trey if I trip, stumble, or fall I'm jumpin' up swingin'."

"I won't let you fall." I kissed her lips, before we went down each step carefully.

"Stop pullin' back, and just walk."

"I'm scared!" She stomped her feet.

We walked further until we got to the door. Mo was on the other side of the door smiling like a big idiot. I guess the guys filled her in on what was goin' on.

"Okay, on the count of three, I want you to pull off your headband."

"K." She took a deep nervous breath.

"One, two," I took a long pause just to annoy her.

"Trey!"

"Okay," I laughed, "three!"

She lifted her hands up to the headband and slowly pulled it off, but she still had her eyes closed.

"I'm so scared!" She said dramatically.

"Girl come on, I ain't got all day." I nudged her arm.

"Okay, okay." She scrunched her face, as she slowly opened one eye.

"What the!" She opened both of her eyes and basically tackled Mo to the ground.

"Hey bestie!" Mo hugged her tight while they were on the ground.

All that could be heard was Dijah's cries. Loud cries at that.

"Mo!" She grabbed her face, "I thought you were dead bitch!"

"Now you know ain't no bitch fenna catch me slippin'.

"Where were you? Your house had gotten blown up, your car was there, and you weren't answering your phone." Dijah stood up, helping Mo up along with her.

"Girl, two nights ago I called you and you didn't answer. I was feeling so down, like depressed and I had a weird feelin' about bein' at my house, that's why I called you. But since you didn't answer, I called Trinity and she suggested a road trip to get my mind off of things. So I packed a bag and left once she picked me up, but I accidentally left my phone and didn't realize it till we were more than half way there."

"You had me worried sick! I have been crying non stop and haven't eaten or been to sleep." She started crying all over again.

"I'm sorry bestie, I ain't goin' no where. I told you that, it's gone take more than a basic, simple minded ass bitch to get rid of me." Mo joked, lightening the mood.

Dijah and Mo shared a laugh as they hugged again.

"Now we have a surprise for all of you ladies." I said making them raise their eyebrows.

I gestured for them to follow me to the basement. Once we were there, they all shared an evil grin, and shooed all of the men out.

So of course we left and let them handle that. In the three hours that they were down there, we heard screams of horror and a lot of banging. I don't know what they did, but they fucked her up. Khadijah came upstairs and straddled my lap.

"Call the clean up crew, and you meet me upstairs." She whispered in my ear.

She got up and walked upstairs as I called my crew. Mark had bounced to go check on the trap, Trinity went to Antoine's crib, and Korie and Mo sat on the couch. The opposite ends of course.

And as for me, I headed upstairs for my surprise.

Ayeeee! Y'all thought Mo was gone? Fuck nah that's my bitch.

BUT!!!! On a serious note, I don't appreciate all the negative comments about how "If Mo was dead, I wouldn't read no more." Cause honestly...I don't care. I mean it in the nicest way possible. But if I wanted Mo to die, she would've been a GONER! But I personally didn't want her dead. Y'all opinions are GREATLY appreciated, but just cause y'all say something, it doesn't make me change how I want MY book to go.

anyways, I love y'all to death!
