Khadijah, Mo, & Trinity in mm.๐Ÿ’‹

*Side note- is it just me, or has nobody seen Beyoncรฉ's twins?*

One month later

Khadijah

I was cleaning the basement when I ran across the folder that I grabbed from Gerald and Marlene's house a while back.

"What is in this thing anyway." I said to myself.

I remember going through all the rooms in their house the time we were looking for Lyric and Mo, and I came across a room with a desk in it and pictures of me everywhere. I looked on the desk and saw this manila folder on it, grabbed it and left.

I opened the folder and my eyes almost popped out of my head.

"What the fuck?"

Inside the folder was pictures of my last adoptive parents, Tanya and Dennis. There were pictures of them getting into their cars and pictures of them leaving work.

I flipped through the pictures and stopped when I came across pictures of the house burnt up and pictures of their bodies that were so burned that I couldn't identify them.

A wave of emotions took over my body, I couldn't believe that these sick bastards had something to do with the murder of my family. Now I wish I would've kept Gerald alive, I would've tortured his soul.

"Baby!" I heard Trey come in the house.

I gathered the pictures and put them back into the folder, I hid the folder behind the television and walked upstairs closing and locking the basement door.

I wanted to dig deeper into the situation before talking to the boys about it, especially since Marlene and Carmen are still alive.

We actually let Marlene go, she put herself into some therapy classes and counseling, but she hasn't seen the last of me because I don't quite believe that she had nothing to do with what happened.

"Baby, you ain't hear me?" Trey snapped in my face as I sat on the counter in the kitchen.

"Sorry, I'm not feelin' too good."

"Why what's wrong?"

"Just tired I guess."

"Well everybody wanted to go out tonight for Trinity's 21st birthday, but if you ain't feelin' good then I'll tell them we'a pass." He pulled out his phone.

"No, I wanna lay down for a minute, but I do wanna go out. We haven't had a little fun in a while." I wrapped my arms around his neck.

Which was true, ever since the deal we made about 'no sex' our life had been boring. Trey had been showing me everyday since then that he can be faithful. Some girls have tried throwing themselves at him and I always catch them in the act, but he always declines. I've even went as far as having some girls I know try to test him, but he never budged.

I know I probably seem like a crazy ass bitch for doing that, but I had to make sure. And I can honestly say that my trust for him has been built. I've tried telling him, but every time I do he thinks I'm only saying it because I'm horny, which I am, but I really do trust him.

"Well let's go lay down and take a nap, cause a nigga tired from work." He turned around and let me get on his back to carry me upstairs.

I giggled because he acted like he was struggling to get me up the steps as if I was over weight, when in reality, it was just his big ass head.

"How was work today anyway?" I asked once he laid me on the bed.

"Work was work." He kicked off his shoes and pulled his shirt off.

"That doesn't sound good." I stood on my knees in the bed and massaged his shoulders.

"Nothing good ever comes from that job."

Trey and Ced recently got a job at this automotive shop downtown. All the guys decided to get a job to cover up all the dirty money they make, because the government would probably start wondering where all their money had been comin' from that they've been spending, without a steady job. The good news is, none of them used bank accounts, they just kept their own money, but with their new legal jobs they've opened up accounts to keep track of that money.

"I'm sorry to hear that poopie." I kissed his neck.

"This dumb hoe came up there talkin' 'bout I put her damn brakes on backwards. I ain't never seen the broad a day in my life, then this other nigga that work there came in and she goes 'oh actually that might be his ass right there!'" I couldn't help the laugh that escaped my mouth as he attempted to imitate a female.

"Man for real you laughin' but I don't know how much longer I can put up with this job, it's somethin' new everyday." We climbed to the top of the bed and got under the covers.

"You'll be okay poopie, just stay positive, and always remember you got a prize waitin' for you at home when you get off." I smiled a huge smile and pointed to myself.

"That's right baby." He cooed and pinched my cheeks.

"Ouch!" I smacked his hand.

"Now got to sleep," he kissed my forehead and rubbed my butt.

He sure knows how to put me to sleep.

Korie

"Where do you think you goin'?" I asked Lyric as she put on her shoes.

"I'm going with auntie D."

"No Nyla, the grown ups are hangin' out tonight, you're goin' to uncle Tez's house." I picked her up, callin' her by her middle name.

"Aww, uncle Tez always goes to sleep." She pouted.

"What, he be goin' to sleep on you while you there?"

"Yesssss," she dragged out the word.

I pulled out my phone to call Tez.

"Yo." He said into the phone.

"Nigga you be fallin' asleep when you watchin' my baby?"

"Nah, I be sleep when it's time to go to bed, if she don't wanna go to bed I don't make her, she a grown ass lil girl."

"Tez if my baby not sleep then you don't need to be sleep. What if somethin' happen to her, yo ass gon' be knocked out."

"Have anything happened to her?"

"That's not the poiโ€”"

"Ah, ah, ahhh, has anything happened to her?" He asked again.

"Nah bruh." I huffed.

"Okay then, I got this. My house got cameras everywhere and it's locked the fuck down when I step in the door. Ain't no nigga dumb enough to try me, especially while my niece here. So be here in a hour or I'm shutting this shit down." He hung up.

"How long do I have to stay there?" She pouted.

"Until tomorrow maybe."

"Tomorrow?! That's forever!" She threw her head back being dramatic.

"What's forever?" Mo came downstairs in some little spandex shorts.

"I have to go to uncle Tez house until tomorrow." She put her chin in her hands.

"I'll tell you what," Mo picked her up, "I'll make daddy leave early tonight so we can come and get you from uncle Tez's house, okay?"

"Yayyyy! Thank you." She kissed her cheek.

"Now go pack you some toys to take."

Lyric jumped out of Mo's arms and ran upstairs.

"Why you always do that?" I began making a sandwich.

"Do what?"

"I tell her one thing and then you turn around and try to flip it."

"I mean I was just telling her that we wouldn't stay out all night, that's it."

"Noooo, I told her she was spending the night at Tez house and you told her she's not." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Ok you right, I'm not her mom anyway so," she raised her hands, "I won't say nothin' else." She turned to walk away but I gently grabbed her arm.

"Now why you gotta go and say allat? I'm not sayin' you can't tell her stuff, but what I'm sayin' is, when I tell her one thing, don't tell her somethin' different. Because then she gon' think imma joke and what I say don't matter."

She looked down to the floor and moved her arm from out of my grip. I used my index finger and my thumb to lift her chin up.

"I'm sorry, okay. I didn't mean to sound rude."

"I understand, I just really love Lyric. I feel like she's my comfort from loosing my baby." She smiled a little and wiped the tear that escaped.

"And that's perfectly fine, but I need you to be on my team when it comes to discipline or just what has to be done," I still held her chin, "okay?"

"Okay Korie." I kissed her on the cheek and she wrapped her arms around me.

Yes I kissed her cheek. Ever since the night Mo told me how she felt, we decided to take things slow so no one would get hurt. She's been staying with me for little over a month now, and besides those two nights we slept in the same bed, we sleep in different rooms now. We don't have a title, but we know where we stand with each other.

"What time are we leaving?" She asked taking a bite of my sandwich.

"Uh, it's seven o'clock now, so I was thinkin' we drop Lyric of at eight and then head to Dijah's house."

"Alright I'm 'bout to go shower."

"Good." I pinched my nose.

She hit me before we burst out laughing. I tried to chase her but my sandwich fell, so I was pissed.

-

"I don't think I want you wearin' that." I grabbed Mo's arm and spun her around gettin' a 360 view.

"Boy please." She walked off.

I sprayed my cologne on and went to check on Lyric.

"You ready to go to uncle Tez's house?"

"Yes! I got all my dollies and he plays dress up with me!" She jumped up and down.

"Sounds fun baby. Get your jacket so we can go aight."

"Korie am I fat!?" I turned around surprised by the question.

"Hell nah, that ass is though." I smirked.

She smacked her lips and walked downstairs. I turned all the lights off except the kitchen light and made sure everything was straight. I let Lyric and Mo walk out first before locking up the house and checking my surroundings.

We drove a good 15 minutes to Tez's house, then headed to Dijah's.

When we arrived, everyone was already in their cars ready to go, so I pulled off and everyone followed to club Lush.

When we got to the club there was a line, but of course we skipped it because our names hold weight.

"Let's go to the bar!" Trinity yelled to the girls.

The ladies went to get drinks while we went and claimed our vip section.

The club was lit tonight, and everybody was out. The music was blastin' and I can honestly say everybody was vibin' out and havin' a good time.

"Look at them!" Ced yelled over the loud music, pointing at the girls.

They were all dancing around in the middle of the dance floor. Trinity was the wildest one, I guess she bringin' in her 21st birthday with a bang. She got two drinks in her hand and she look drunk as hell.

I took a sip of my Henny and let my eyes roam over Mo's body. She was twerkin' to KStylis Trampoline Booty and I had to give it to her, she was really makin' some shake.

While the girls continued to party and drink, I watched my surroundings and made sure everybody was straight. I wasn't much of a drinker, so I let everyone have their fun while I watched.

Two more hours had passed and it was goin' on 2 in the morning. Antoine decided it was time for Trinity to go home, especially since she was arguin' with the bartender for not wantin' to serve her any more drinks.

So we all decided it was time to go. All the girls were beyond drunk and all of us guys had to get them home safely.

Trey finally got Khadijah out the club and to the car, and so did I with Mo after puttin' up a fight. Antoine had already left because Trinity wasn't feelin' good and the rest of the guys dipped too and called it a night.

"I am so drunk! I'm sorry I didn't mean to bre-," she hiccuped, "break the promise." Mo unbuckled her seatbelt in the middle of me drivin'."

I reached over while still paying attention to the road, and buckled her seatbelt back up. "What promise? And stop takin' that off."

"I promised daddy that I'd always be good." She started to cry.

"It's okay, you are good. You ain't bad."

"Yes I am! And he's in heaven and he's mad." She sobbed.

I tried to calm her down the rest of the ride to the house. I was gonna go swing by Tez's and get Lyric, but I didn't want her to see Mo like this.

"Aight, come on." I struggled gettin' her up the steps.

Gettin' her out the car and into the house was the easy part, but tryin' to haul her up these steps was a different story.

"Are you callin' me fat?!" She began crying again for the fifth time since we got home.

"No I'm not callin' you fat, it's just hard to get you upstairs when you ain't helpin' me, you gotta move ya feet or some." I lugged her up another step.

I finally got her up the steps and into her room. I put her in the bed and tried walkin' out.

"Nooooo," she whined.

I stopped at the door frame and turned around.

"What now Monique."

She looked at me for a second while tears weld up in her eyes.

"What's the matter?" I climbed into the bed and rubbed her back.

"You're tired of me! You never call me Monique!" She cried harder into my chest.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gotten frustrated with you, you ain't ya'self right now."

She popped her head up. "What? Who am I! Oooh am I Tina Turner?"

I couldn't help the laugh that came out as I stood back up.

"You need to sleep this alcohol off girl." I tucked her in the bed and attempted to put her hair in a ponytail.

But she popped back up, again.

"Nooo I need a shower!" She tossed the covers back and stumbled when she stood up.

"In the mornin', now lay down." I tried gettin' her back in the bed.

"No! Now!"

I huffed and went to her bathroom. I ran her some nice warm bath water and put the bubble bath she had sitting on the side of the tub in there. I left the water running while I went to check on her.

She was dancing in her body mirror and laughing.

"Okay come on." I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the bathroom.

"Ima close the door for a minute, and you need to take your clothes off and get in the water, okay?" She nodded her head and sat on the floor unbuttoning her dress.

I closed the door and stood outside for a while until I heard the water in the tub move around.

"You in?" I cracked the door.

"Yep." She popped the 'p'.

I stepped in and saw that she still had her bra on. I face palmed myself before steppin' over to the tub and unhookin' her bra. I couldn't help my roamin' eyes when I seen her perky breasts.

I quickly snapped out of my daze when she splashed me with water.

"Stop." I held her hands.

She giggled and began playin' in the bubbles blowin' them everywhere.

"Do you think my baby forgives me for loosing him?" She asked after it had been silent for a while.

"Uh," I was caught off guard by the question, "I'm sure he or she knows it ain't ya fault, he or she up there chillin' watchin' over you right now."

I helped her wash up and let her relax for a minute. She had finally calmed down and stopped talkin'.

I watched her lean her head against the back of the tub with her eyes closed, as I kept starin' at her I saw tears run down her face.

"Come on." I tapped her shoulder.

She didn't budge but the tears kept coming. I decided to just lift her up out of the tub. I laid her on her bed and dried her off with a dry towel. I searched her drawers for underwear, once I found some I slipped a pair on her. I couldn't find anything that she usually slept in, so I went to my room and got one of my shirts. I slipped it over her head and tucked her in the bed.

"Goodnight Mo." I put a trashcan by her bed and walked out the room.

I went into my room and started the shower. After I stripped out of my clothes, I hopped in and stayed in for twenty minutes. I hopped out, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and put my durag and boxers on.

I got into my bed and laid on my back, pullin' the covers up over me. I tried to go to sleep but I couldn't get comfortable.

After sittin' in the bed starin' at nothin' in particular for 30 minutes, I went to go check on Mo. She was fast asleep with her arms over her face and the covers were on the floor, with her legs sprawled everywhere.

I went to get my phone and I took a picture so she could see how she sleeps when she's drunk.

After admiring her beauty for a minute, I lifted her out of the bed and took her into my room. I laid her in my bed and got in behind her. I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close to me.

What is this girl doin' to me.
