Warning: self harm

Midnight tapped her foot on the floor, the tile floor echoing to each tap. She was furious, waiting on Aizawa to return.

"Oh come on, she couldnt have gotten far." Mic leaned on the frame of the door, a hand on his hip and his foot crossed over the other. His glasses fell from his face and he fixed them properly.

"That's not the point," Midnight sighs and sets out to the hallway, expecting you and Aizawa to turn around the corner. "Aizawa has been distant and I'm concerned."

"Thats Aizawa, hes been distant since we meet in U.A." Mic bounced his arm off of the frame and went into the hotel room.

Midnight followed behind, taking her mask off and tucking it in her stockings. She walked over to the chair that was beside the opening window, the same chair that you had sat in the previous night. Mic checked the time and looked at Midnight.

"We need to go."

"But Aizawa doesn't know the plan and he'll be pissed if we leave without even mention something to him."

The doors open and enters Aizawa with you right behind him. He steps in and to the side allowing you to enter the room to sit on the bed. Midnight got up and hugged you like a mother caressing her child, she pushed your face to her chest and squeezed your arms.

"Where have you two been? Its been over two and a half hours when you went off looking for this one." Midnight squeezed your face tighter and all you could do was hope she didnt pop your head like a balloon.

Midnight loosen her grip with a hand on your shoulder and the other brushing your hair back.

"I fell asleep at the library."

Aizawas monotone voice almost made you crack up in laughter. His straight face that hasnt changed and his tired eyes still the same, telling his friends he fell asleep. Midnight rolled her eyes and shook her head, a smile curved in her cheek and she motioned for Mic to get up.

"Not surprised. Mic and I will be leaving. The heroes agreed we will be taking down the Red Snakes tonight."

"So soon?" You stood up. You started to feel anxious at the thought of confronting the Red Snakes but also pleased. "I haven't trained."

Midnight's hand on you changed from care to unsure, her grip a bit tighter. "You would be the bait."

"What are you talking about? The entire mission was about keeping her safe." Aizawa took a step forward, his large body seeming to grow larger as he grabbed your arm. His eyes burning with a passion for protecting. His immense anger startled Midnight and Mic.

They looked at each other before looking back at Aizawa. Midnight took notice of his grip on your arm. He held carefully, not hurting you and as you stood up from the bed she saw the way you looked at each other. Midnight and Mic walked over to the door and stepped out to the hall.

Midnight licked her lips and faced the floor. She looked back at Mic and then finally at Aizawa. "She wont be harmed but we need something to lure the Red Snakes into our controlled area."

Aizawas frown seemed to have gone worse.

"I'll see you tomorrow Shota... bye jelly bean."

Midnight's smile was gentle like always and you gave her a small wave and a smile back. The door closed and you turned to Aizawa. His hand fell from your arm down to your hand where he curled his pinky finger around yours. Unsure of the relationship he didn't want to push any boundaries, he also didn't want to ask for it.

"Shota? Shota Aizawa is your full name?" Your face beamed with a bright smile as you finally got his full name.

"Yeah," He stood in front of you and took a step closer, inches from your face. His free hand rose, the back of his fingers brushing your chin. "Your full name is?"

"You read my hospital file."

"I rather you tell me than a piece of paper."

Suddenly, as though a switch flipped inside him Aizawa stepped back. His hands went to himself and walked over to the door.

"Let's go out in the fields and concentrate on your quirk."

"Oh, right."

Aizawa led you out of the hotel and into the streets. The walk was long and soon you were in the center of the fields to one side of town. It was filled with as many rocks as it was with trees. Moss covered a large majority of the ground, trees and rocks. The forest even swayed side to side. However you couldn't remember if it was entirely windy on the way to the forest.

Aizawa chose a clean open area. A circle of trees surrounded it. Few rocks was around. Aizawa figured if he had accidentally tossed you around at least the grass and moss would ease the fall. He sighed loudly, grunting as he placed a hand down to hold himself as he sat down with his legs crossed. You sat across from him your legs also crossed and stared at him.

"Stand up real quick for me."

You got back up. Aizawa took off his scarf and unzipped his jacket. He sprawled it out, closer to him than you were before and patted the jacket.

"You'll get itchy if you sit down for too long."

"Thank you."

When you sat back down, Aizawas mind went blank. All he could think about was you, sitting so close to him. It made him think about the library. His stomach felt light and he knew that must be what the butterflies feel like, at least that's what he assumed. He never understood what that meant ''butterflies in your stomach'' he always assumed it meant you were sick.

"Mhmm."

"We know that it has to be your own blood," Aizawa paused for a moment. "That shield appeared because you were in a defensive positioned."

"Right, yeah," You recalled the memory of that night. It all happened so quickly you didn't even focus hard enough for your quirk to appear. "I just knew I didn't want to get hit anywhere else and he was aiming for my face."

Aizawa nodded. "Let's practice summoning different objects with your quirks before attempting to attack with them."

"Aizawa, when I used my own blood I remembered feeling light headed. I fell asleep really easily..."

You twiddle with your thumbs and your concerns about losing too much blood clouded your mind. Aizawa reached out, holding your hands and keeping them still. His thumbs on the back of your hands and raising them up to his face. He kissed one hand and lowered it back down. Looking up, the corner of Aizawas lips flashes a faint smile. A contagious smile that caused you to smile. Impressed to see anything other than a frown on him.

"You smiled."

Aizawa let go of your hands and cleared his throat. His arms crossed over his chest and he shook his head.

"And? Let's concentrate."

"No, no, let's talk about how much hotter you were when you just smiled."

Aizawas eyes widen. His stood up forcing the scarf to cover most of his face. As his back faces you, you got up and brushed off his jacket. Slipping your arms into his jacket you apologized and promised not to get off track. The compliment would stain Aizawas mind.

"Alright," Aizawa pulled out a small casing from his pocket. It was grey and wrapped with a red bow. "I want you prick your finger and make me a bullet."

"Just a bullet?"

"I want you to start small," Aizawa sat down on a rock, his legs extended out with his right leg over the other. "Once you've made a bullet we will go big to a-"

"A spear?"

"Sure, yeah, a spear."

You nodded, walking across the ground to Aizawa and taking the casing from his hand. Walking back to the center you unwrapped the gift and pulled out a small switchblade. It was also a grey, black and swash of yellow. You flipped around and faced Aizawa.

"Your quirk ask for a lot. I don't expect you to be able to make yourself bleed so quickly. Do you understand?"

"Yes, but it's a prick. It'll be easy. I'm pretty sure in a different situation I could have the courage to cut a bit larger for a better weapon."

"Or maybe, a prick is enough to make a large weapon. That is what we are focusing on."

You pointed the sharp blade on the center of your finger. The blade goes deeper into your skin until you finally closed your eyes, sucked it up and pricked your finger with the sharp blade. Crimson blood appeared from the small jab and you clenched your fist while placing the small switchblade inside of your pocket. Opening back up your hand, blood was in your palms and you imagined a bullet laying in the center. As you thought about the bullet, more blood flowed from your finger to your palm. It swirled until a full body, bloody bullet appeared.

"I did it."

"Good girl, I knew you had it." Aizawa got up from the rock and looked at your palm. "Now give me a switch blade that looks exactly like yours."

You pulled out your switchblade and the blood bullet fell to a small puddle of blood in your hand. With both hands out, palms open and a blade in one hand. You examined the switchblade and then looked over to the blood puddle, picturing the exact framing of the switchblade. Again, your blood rose from your palm, circling as it formed. Then, two blades sat perfectly in your palms.

"Stab the ground with the blade made by your quirk."

Kneeling down, you punctured the ground with the blade and a hole was left. The blood went from a solid to a liquid the moment it was jabbed into the ground.

"Weapons are a one time use." You murmured, standing up and putting away your real switchblade away.

Aizawa pulled out a travel first aid kit from a pouch inside of his pockets. He cleaned away the blood and placed a small band-aid on your finger. "That will be an issue but nonetheless, it seems that you have a good handle on your quirk."

You nodded, still staring down at the small puddle of blood on the floor surrounding the small hole in the ground. "It wasn't difficult as I was expecting it to be. Though, it is definitely an issue if anything I create could be easy dismantled when used."

"Hopefully, you'll be surrounded by assistance in case you started to feel light headed."

"Do you think they will actually leave me alone when I am bait?"

Aizawa shook his head. "No, I'm positive someone will be in range."

"Could it be you?"

Your hands rested against his chest as you leaned in on Aizawa. Aizawa's arms wrapped around your torso and rested his chin above your head and he stared out to the forest.

"If you feel safer, I doubt Midnight or Mic will argue."

"Thank you."
