-3rd Person POV

Once there was a kingdom with a beautiful princess named Y/N L/N. She wanted to be a Queen one day. But for that she had to Marry someone.

Her Parents started looking for someone good enough for her Daughter and for the kingdom.

Y/N wanted someone handsome and Funny. Of course she wanted a protective person by her side, but she also wanted someone she would laugh with and be happy with.

So her parents met Cameron Brodeur. A very Handsome and actually pretty funny guy, which the King and Queen decided, should Marry their daughter.

Right now Y/N was sitting in her room and reading a book. Until her maid, and best friend, Ruby came into the room.

"M'lady your-" she got cut off by Y/N.

"You know you can Call me Y/N, right?" she asked and put something in between the two book pages that she was reading and closed the book.

"Right. Uhm the King and Queen wat to see you. They said, they had a surprise for you." Ruby told Y/N. She bowed quickly and left the room.

Even though Ruby and Y/N were Best Friend's; they had to act different, even when they were alone in the room.

Y/N hated it. But when her Parents would find out that Ruby and her are best friends, Ruby would get kicked out and Y/N would be in a deep mess.

Y/N sighed and stood up. Adjusting her dress and clearing her throat, she made her way out of the room and into the throne room, where her parents were waiting for her.

"Ah Y/N !" her Father explained with wide open arms. He went up to her, held her shoulders and pressed a kiss to her cheek.

"Hello Father. Hello Mother." she greeted her Parents and kissed them both on the cheek.

Her Mother and Father sat down on her thrones and called Y/N over to them. Y/N quickly went over to her Mother's side and put her hands behind her back and looked forward.

"So, Y/N..." her Father started, "We found the right one to Marry you." he continued.

Y/N didn't like it at all, that she couldn't look for the one who was going to marry her, but she had no choice and had to go with it.

Y/N looked at him and asked, "Really? And when do I get to know him?" even if she didn't really care.

"Right now." Her mother spoke up, making Y/N switch her gaze to her. "He's coming here today. You get 4 Hours to get to know each other and then we'll announce your engagement." she told her while still having her gaze fixed to the big door in front of her.

Y/N fixed her gaze at the big doors too and hoped, that she would actually like him and she could get happy with him. Of course she wanted someone who would be good for the Kingdom as King, but on the same time she wanted something like a Best Friend. And not a Best Friend that she had to hide.

Just then, a blonde boy with a few guard came into the throne room. He had black dress pants and a white dress shirt with a blue coat on.

Y/N was speechless and yet sceptical about the boy in front of them. She didn't knew what she should think about him, since she doesn't know him at all.

A man came up beside him and announced him, "May I present to you, Prince Cameron Brodeur from Kanada."

Cameron bowed and then stood up straight again. He had a gentle smile on his face and his hands, folded, behind his back.

"So...Y/N. Why don't you and Cameron go around the kingdom and get to know each other." Her Father suggested.

Y/N nodded and went over to Cameron. She bowed and so did Cameron. They both made their way to the door, but were stopped by her Mother.

"Be back at Five. Then we will announce your engagement."

Y/N nodded and bowed, "Yes Mother"  and then turned back to Cameron.

Cameron bowed to the King and Queen and then turned to Y/N. "Shall we?" he asked, holding out his arm to her so that she could connect the two of them.

"Mhm." She hummed happily and linked their arms together.

They made their way out of the Castle and walked around the Village. They told each other everything about their lives. Y/N even told him about her and Ruby and he said it will be their secret.

People in the Village were looking at them with wide eyes and whispered stuff to each other. They probably didn't expect to see the Princess in their Village. Especially with a guy beside her.

They came to a meadow and sat on the grass and just relaxed and talked. They learned a lot from each other. About the Family. Even some things about friends. He told her, that he has a few friends and she told him that she only had Ruby and couldn't have more friends, since her parents didn't allow her to go outside. They said not to be distracted by friends and to worry more about studying.

As the future queen, she should care more about the kingdom than about friends.

Y/N didn't like that rule at all. But she had to go with it, since she wants to be Queen one day.

"I'm sorry that you can't really have Friends and have to keep your friendship with Ruby a secret." Cameron told her and layed on his side to look at her.

"Oh its nothing. I think they are right about the studying. Even if I want someone to talk to. The Kingdom should be on first place." she said and looked up at the sky.

They remembered to be back at Five pm. So they got up and walked back to the castle. As they walk through the Village, all the people around them started whispering again. This made the couple laugh and continue their way to the castle.

As they enter the castle, they see everything decorated. The dining room had a long table with a lot of food on it.

Her Parents came up to her and her mother spoke up, "Ah you're back. Go ahead and change honey. The guest will be there soon."

Y/N nodded and made her way to her room.

As she got to her room, she went straight to her dressing room and looked for the perfect dress.

She changed into a beautiful dress with a blue skirt and a white top with pattern and sleeves.

She went back downstairs to the dining room Cameron and her parents wait for her.

"Finally. Kids you sit here." her mother pointed to two seats across from each other.

Cameron and Y/N nodded and sat down. The guests came in and sat down. They all ate and after the dinner they went into the ballroom.

There were some people from the Village and a lot of people from Y/N's  and Cameron's Family.

Y/N's parents stood up together with Cameron's parents and spoke up, "Thank you all for coming to this wonderful occasion! But, of course, there is a reason why you're here."

At this point Y/N's Father send her and Cameron up to them and announced, "My Daughter, and future Queen, princess Y/N and prince Cameron Brodeur are going to Marry in two days! "

Everyone clapped and cheered for them and Y/N and Cameron smiled awkwardly at the crowd in front of them.

Cameron and Y/N didn't like the idea to Marry so quickly. But her and his Parents thought it would be the best.

As Y/N was talking to one of her Cousins, a guy came up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.

Y/N turned around and was met with a boy. He had dark raven hair that goes until his jawline. He had a red blazer on with some black dress pants and suit dress shirt with a white shirt under it.

"Hey. I'm Aidan. Aidan Gallagher. Cameron's Best Friend." he greeted her and took her hand in his and kissed it.

"Hello Aidan." she chuckled as he kissed her hand. "You know you don't have to do this, right?"

"I know I just wanted to be polite." he said with a smirk on his Face.

"Well I call that a real gentleman." Y/N chuckled and Aidan did too.

The first time Aidan saw Y/N; he thought she was perfect. He wanted her only for himself.

While he was getting to know her, all he could hear in his head was:

"Mine"

"She will be mine"

He is jealous of Y/N and Cameron. But he had a plan to get her for himself.

Y/N thought the same way about him. But she couldn't get together with him, since her parents want her to Marry Cameron.

She didn't want to, but she had to. What she wanted was Aidan. But she had to Marry Cameron.
