I get out of the car and it was so hot outside that i was sweating.

Cade Yeager.. He is my friend if you could say that. I lived alone for a long time because the past of my family and one day i needed a job and i knew little bit about cars and others things so he offered job even that the payment is not that great and in time..

Cade wanted to go see some random "junk" inside the old theather.. i mean "junk" is unspoken word when you're with him..

Cade was still sitting inside his car and i was leaning against the driver's door.

"I'm a nasty woman" someone singed.

"Look who decided to show up for work." Cade said.

"Yeah it's a miracle" i answered to him..

I stepped aside and Cade came out of his car.

I grabbed my stuff from the back of the car and i then i walked next to Cade.

"I'm a heartbreaker! Gonna make you cry" Lucas sang and then he stopped the music and stepped out of his car.

We started walking towards Lucas.

"What, surf repost no good at South Parde?" Cade asked while we walked closer to him.

"The waves are flat and i got no gas. You know that, Cade." Lucas murmured from the other side of the road and then some car drove just past him.

"Dude. Rude." Lucas said and lifted his arms little bit.

"Look at these two junebugs. Whoo! My, my!" He flirted with some chicks but i just rolled my eyes.

"I'm already tired..." I murmured and looked at Cade.

"Hey, you're paying me on this one, right Cade?" Please tell me i'm getting paid" Lucas begged

"Lucas.. a lot of people here are just happy to have a job at all" I said with sarcastic smile on my face.

"Well hello there sunshine..." Lucas said to me.

"Pfft" I murmured and crossed my arms.

"Do you both have any cash on you?" Cade asked

I knew what he was trying to do.

"Yeah" Lucas answered

"Yeah i have something but not much" i told him raising an eyebrow.

"Good.." Cade said and started to walk towards the theather. I followed him and Lucas was behind us.

There was some man waiting for us, leaning to his car and looked like he didn't want to be here.

"Hey, Lucas Flannerry" Lucas introduced himself and was about to shake his hand but the man looked like he was so done with his life but he responded to Lucas's handshake but his hand was like wet spaghetti.. I just slapped Lucas' hand off

"Stop!" I whispered to him

Cade just looked both of us..

"Place has been in the family since '28. Granddaddy ran it all his life. Ain't that right, Granddaddy?" The man was telling us while we walked inside the theater and i was amazed.

"Real soon he's going to sign it over to me." The grandson said.

"Real confidence.." I whispered to myself.

"The movies nowadays, that's the trouble. Sequels and remakes, bunch of crap. I love that one. Oh." The grandpa said and walked around the place and at the end he pointed some old movie poster what he liked.

"He is deaf and senile" The grandson said to Cade and me.

"Heard that" His grandpa answered to him

I let little laugh.

The man lead us to the one room where was all the casets and other things.. I wiped my finger on the table and it was dusty. Not surprise tho..

"Now these just need some spit and polish. I believe they're digital possibly IMAX." The grandson explaned to us.

"I think they're not..." I said and looked the grandson and back to Cade.

"Yeah, Mister, we'll have a look around if you want to leave us to it, okay?" Cade walked closer to the grandson.

"You know, folks used to come from miles around to see the dancing girls with the big cha-chas." Grandpa said and laughed little bit.

"I swear to god. I am one diaper change away from poisoning his oatmeal." The grandson said whispering and he looked at me and Cade like he wanted to die right here.

"Hey, keep going buddy... You're doing amazing!" I said to the grandpa because i kinda felt pity because he was funny but his grandson was little bit.. yeah.

Cade found something and he was serious

"Hey, you hang in there, buddy. It coming here makes you feel young, then you tell this kid to bring you here every day. Seven buck, i keep talking" Cade said while staring him in the eyes.

"Sold" he said

"Nice one Cade" I smiled to him.

The oldman chuckled and Lucas was hoovering around like a stupid and touching everywhere. I was pretty sure that he will break something anytime soon.

I looked around in the room but after while i left and went to walk in around the audience area in the theather hall.

"Remember this place when we were kids? How many girls you think you brought here in high school?" Lucas asked and teased Cade.

"Damn Cade you got chicks?" I asked smirking

"Did you have any boys?" Lucas asked from me.

"Nah because they all were shitheads and i'm looking for a man.." I said

"Hey, heads!" And Cade threw the american football to Lucas and was excepting that he would catch it

Lucas groaned and fell back.

"Ow" lucas murmured

"You really thought that he will catch that?" I asked from Cade

"Thats the reason why he never make the varsity team" Cade said

"Ok then go long!" Lucas was about to throw the ball and he threw it but it bounced from the seat to the wall and from there to my legs.

"Seriously Lucas?" I asked from him

"Leave it." Lucas said pointing the football.

You all hoovered around the place until i saw some ripped curtain and there was something behind the curtains.

"Ayo Cade.. Come check this out?" I said and moved the curtains for a little bit.

Cade walked next to me and pulled the curtains out of the way.

"Its a truck?!" I said with low voice tone

Cade climbed inside the truck and it almost crushed. He opened the door and saw some mortat shells falling down from the truck.

"What the hell happened to you" he asked from the truck

"Damn..." I said and i lifted one of the shells up and looked it closer.

"We need to get this.." I murmured and then looked up to Cade pointing at him with the shell.

"Just wait" " Hey snakeballs! How much for the truck?" Cade asked from the grandson.

"Truck?" He asked and looked confused because he looked like he didn't even know about any truck.

Soon after when Cade paid from the truck, i jogged towards Cade's car and threw my things to the back and hopped inside the car waiting for Cade. We started driving and the truck was behind us. We drove long way to the his place but eventually we got there. We jumped out and waited the man to leave the truck in the yard.

"Cade where are you placing it? I asked from him.

"There is room for him in the barn"

"Him?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Yes him.. This truck is amazing" he said and tapped the truck's door.

"Okay, all the way!" Cade messaged the man who towed the truck.

Lucas was standing in front of his car and his arm's crossed over his chest and he let deep sigh.

Soon i saw Tessa running towards us. Tessa is Cade's daughter and you knew how important Tessa was to Cade and how he wanted all the best to her.
