       Tony was angry.

He explained to her that it was Obadiah Stane who had given the criminals who held them captive his weapons. He was even the one that tried to have the Ten Rings kill him. The man was also trying to have him booted from his own company.

"Tony," she said softly after he explained it to her. She was going to tell him who she thought Obadiah was.

"Yeah," he said with a clenched jaw as he watched the news footage from Gulmira where those Ten Rings members were hurting and killing innocent civilians with his weapons.

She bit her lip in nervousness before she admitted, "He talked to me at the party. He called me flower girl."

Tony whipped his head to her so fast, "He said that to you?"

She nodded as she frowned, "I think...he knows me but I can't remember."

"And...I get a terrible feeling like the sky is falling," Snow said as tears gathered in her eyes and some even fell. "But I know my memories will be worse and I get the sense that if I let them in, you'll hate me forever which makes me scared, Tony."

"Don't be," he caressed her cheeks gently as he wiped her tears from her face before he pulled her into him for a hug. "That could never happen, angel."

             "I promise."

____

Tony flew in his suit to Gulmira and put an end to the Ten Rings members there. He ran into a little trouble with jets from the US government spotting him as an unknown but he was back now and he was fine.

Now, mechanical arms were trying to take the suit off but Tony was moving, "Tony, just stay still."

"Yes," Jarvis agreed. "Please, listen to Miss Snow."

He rolled his eyes but nevertheless stayed still and the suit started to come off smoothly. But then Pepper walked into the workshop.

"What's going on here?" Pepper stared up at the suit he was in with confusion. It didn't take long to figure out he was the iron man they talked about in the news reporting.

Tony didn't have a good answer and neither did she before Tony just relaxed, "Let's face it. This is not the worst thing you've caught me doing."

"What's the worst thing?" Snow asked curiously.

Tony looked at her in alarm as he thought of the number of girls that Pepper had found him with, "We...are not going to talk about that."

Pepper inspected the suit more closely, "Are those bullet holes?"

_____

After Pepper was informed of what was going on, she was tasked with getting secure info off of the mainframe at Stark Industries. He wanted all the whereabouts of his weapons so he could destroy them.

When Pepper was going through the computer files of Obadiah, she not only found that he ordered the hit on Tony but she found files on Eira that looked remarkably like Snow. There were multitude of videos of her training to use her powers (which shocked Pepper because she had no idea) when she was just a kid.

Pepper watched as this little girl had flowers sprout out of the ground and take down people so violently. They'd be thrown against walls or their arms would be grabbed by vines and they'd be slammed to the ground.

Pepper watched in horror as she realized that Snow wasn't only a victim. She was a weapon.

_____

It was a couple hours later and they hadn't heard from Pepper yet. Snow was upstairs in her room holding one of her flower pots as she got a bad feeling.

She looked towards her door and she got up as she went towards it. She walked down the hall slowly as the feeling only got worse and finally she could hear Obadiah which made her pause.

"Breathe. Easy, easy. You remember this one, right?" Obadiah held up a device as Tony sat paralyzed on the couch from it. "It's a shame that the government didn't approve it. There's so many applications for causing short-term paralysis."

"Tony. When I ordered the hit on you, I worried that I was killing the golden goose. But, you see, it was just fate that you survived," Obadiah pulled the arc reactor from his chest with another fancy device. "You had one last golden egg to give."

Obadiah placed the arc reactor in a case before looking back at Tony, "I heard you've grown rather attached to the girl you returned with."

"I'll let you in on a secret," Obadiah sat down and placed his arm behind Tony as he leaned in closely. "She's my daughter."

Tony blinked as his eyes widened in shock. Daughter? How the hell could she be his daughter?

"Not what you expected to hear," Obadiah mused. "But it's true. When I found out her mother was pregnant, I put her through a little...experiment."

"It killed her mother but Eira or what do you call her...Snow? She survived and the abilities she had were something out of this world but...I think you already know that."

Tony looked afraid. He was...he didn't want this man to ever touch her again. Obadiah noticed the look and smiled, "Don't worry, though. You can keep her. She's utterly useless to me."

"I trained her to be the greatest weapon this world has ever seen," Obadiah said before he sighed like he was remembering his greatest disappointment. "But she didn't want to hurt people; she was too soft still after all I put her through..."

He shook his head like he didn't understand, "So, I made her suffer a little...fall. I thought it would've killed her but it just made her forget everything and I decided to give her to those savages overseas to see if they had any luck."

"But then that business in the cave happened and I found out she survived all those years," Obadiah said and he smiled like he thought it was ironic. "Imagine my surprise..."

"Anyways," Obadiah stood up and collected the case. "I'm sorry it had to end like this, Tony."

"It's not," she stepped out from the hallway and into the room.

Obadiah stared in surprise, "Eira."

She stared back at him as all the memories hit her like a train. She clenched her fists as she seethed quietly, "I am not useless. You made sure of that."

Suddenly, it was stormy outside and lightning struck all around the house which made the lights go out. The thunder was so loud and Tony was sure he could feel the ground shake.

"Now, let's just calm down, shall we?"

He could see her still with the lightning flashes. She clenched her fists even tighter and Tony never thought that she could look murderous but it was right in front of his eyes.

"Put down the case," she commanded and he did so slowly.

"Alright, now, why don't we just talk this out?" Obadiah offered. "After all, we are family."

"We are not family."

"And you think he'll accept you after what you did..." he reminded her and she screamed from all the horrors he made her do as she pushed her hands out.

Wind whipped at him so harshly that he was sent sailing over the couch and through the glass windows to the back patio. Then the biggest and the longest strike of lightning in the history of the world shot down from the sky and striked the man who made her a sinner. It went on for so long that it turned him into a burnt and smoking corpse.

She was breathing heavily and she didn't realize she was crying as she stared at the storm outside. As she killed the thing that had destroyed her so long ago.

She quickly calmed down some and ran over to the man that would hate her forever, "Tony!"

She got the arc reactor and put it back in his chest. Some of the paralysis wore off and he spoke hoarsely, "You control storms now, too?"

She sobbed and laughed all at the same time as she threw her arms around his neck. She felt joy because he was okay but she felt the greatest sadness that this would be the last time he would ever hug her.

He would never forgive for what she did when she was a kid. She had all of her memories of all the horrors and she found the worst crime was remembering.

AN: the next chapter is going to contain the biggest plot twist even though this chapter is already very twisty. And obviously I changed the ending of iron man 1
