Aden
I move closer to April. We're in the cozy corner of the coffee shop. For the last hour we've been going over some of the previous chapters. I gave April some exercise to work through.

April tapped her pencil against her full lips. Her eyes were focused on the text of the book. She completely unaware of the desire she's stirring inside of me.

My desire for April seems to be steadily growing. Simple things like her brushing her hair over her shoulder are driving me crazy.

I've been trying to focus but it's hard. I already feel a little guilty. When I offered to tutor April my intentions were anything but pure.

I wanted alone time with her and I wanted to be somewhere where no one could interrupt her. The fact that it might have annoyed Jamal was just an added plus.

I'd seen them together when I came to pick up April. He looked seriously irritated, which I didn't mind at all. I'd seen him lean in to kiss her on the cheek.

It shouldn't have been a big thing but it angered me. I didn't like when Jamal was around April. He gave off vibes that I didn't get when she was around Keith.

Keith could hug and joke with April and it didn't bother me at all. But with Jamal it was a completely different story.

"There, done." April said sitting back and setting her pencil down.

I lean over and look at her answers. "Looks pretty good, but-"

"What did I mess up this time?"

"Nothing you just misspelled a word. It's oi not io."

"Seriously? I got them all right?"

April seemed surprised. When we first started I realized just how far behind she really was. She got really frustrated in the middle. I offered taking a break but she was really determined to work through it.

"Yup, I knew you could do it." I say with a smile.

"You sure about that? It was a little iffy for a moment there."

"Yup even then. You're a smart girl, April Robinson."

April smiled brightly. I couldn't help but smile back. She looked so adorable. The fact that she wasn't dating anyone still surprised me.

"What do you say to some hot chocolate as a reward." I ask.

"I never say to hot chocolate."

I stand up. April tries to hand me money but I shake my head.

"I got it." I say pulling out my wallet.

"I can afford hot chocolate, Aden. Besides you paid for the last thing."

"Yeah but it's my treat."

"Aden..."

"Nope."

I walk over to the counter and order. After a few minutes the woman returns with two hot chocolates with whip cream. I walk back to the table and hand her the hot chocolate.

"Aden, you didn't have to. I don't want you to feel like you have to pay every time we go out. I don't want to mooch." April says.

"Your not. I don't mind. You should just let me take care of you."

"But what if I want to take care of you every now and then?"

I know she didn't mean it in a sexual way, but that's were my head goes. My eyes drop to April's lips.

I look away and clear my throat. "I'm sure will work something out." I say.

I take a sip of my coco. I look back at April and she giggles.

"What?" I ask.

"You've got some cream on you."

I lick my lips feeling embarrassed. Try to impress a girl and I end up with stuff all over my face like a two year old. I really am bad at this stuff.

"Here let me." April says with a giggle.

April leans over to wipe the cream off of the of my mouth. I feel her soft thumb brush against my bottom lip.

"Got it." April says looking up at me.

Our eyes lock. Her hands freeze on my face. Seconds that feel like hours pass between us. Once again my eyes drop down to her lips.

"Aden?" April says and I look back up at her. "I have a horrible track record of misinterpreting things so I'll just ask you this plainly... Am I the girl you were talking about?" She asked.

Second pass between us. I take a deep breath and try to find all the confidence I can muster

"What would happen if I said you were?" I ask at last.

April moves a little closer. "You know, Aden, it's not fair to answer a question with another question."

Her voice dips into a low sexy whisper. It sounds even better than I dreamed it would.

I reach up to pull back the hand she has on my face. I can see the whip cream on her fingers.

In a moment of shire bold lusty craziness I lick the the cream off.

April lets out a surprised gasp. It sounds so sexy. My d!ck twitches in response.  Arousal pumping through me.

I keep my eyes on her. She looks so innocent and tempting. I want to taste more of her. This is what Adam and Eve must have felt when they looked at the forbidden fruit.

I move away from her hand and lean into her. I pause maybe a few inches away from her mouth because I really want April to meet me the rest of the way. I want her to want this as much as I do.

April hesitant at first but I fell her start to slowly move in. I fell her breath against my lips.

"Aden Harris?" A deep voice calls.

We both turn to see the tall man in the black suit with sun glasses standing in front of us. I know instantly from the snake tattoo on his neck that he's. One of my father's people.

"Your father sent me to come collect you." The man says.

"Sh!t." I say combing my fingers through my hair. I should have known my father's threats to send somebody after me should not have been taken lightly.

"Aden do us all a favor and don't make this harder than it has to be. Honestly I just as reluctant to mess up you and your girls moment, but the boss is the boss. If I don't follow his orders it'll be my body found floating down the river." The man said.

God, I hate this side of my father. He's so use to running his organization with fear that he thinks it's okay to run his family the same way.

If I had been alone I would have told the man to go fvck himself but April was here. I look over at her. She looks confused and slightly fearful of the man my father sent.

I sigh and stand up.

"I'm going to drop April off first." I say.

"We can have one of our man take your friend were ever she needs to go."

"No. I'm going to take her, that's nonnegotiable. You can follow behind if you're so worried."

I didn't want April around my father's people. If possible I'd like to keep her as far away as possible. Father's underground works were dangerous but so were the business people at the top of his corporation. They were just as cut throat but in a different way.

"Come on, April?" I say holding out my hand.

April hesitates for a moment before taking my hand. I could kill my father for messing up our moment.

I lead her to my car and open the door for her.

"Aden is everything okay?" April asked once we were both inside of the car.

"Yeah, I just have to go deal with my dad. My family's a little on the complicated side." I say.

My answer is vague because I don't want her to know just yet how complicated they really are.
