Felt bad about the very  short update Yesterday, so here's another, also short update.

Didn't plan this chapter, it just kind of occurred to me. Greenland sucked. Like really fucking sucked. But one thing I loved about it was the northern lights. They were so, so beautiful. And I wanted to incorporate that little bit of not-terribleness into my story.

Alright, you guys get to the chapter. Comment, vote, and enjoy!

Allen sat down next to me on the couch. "Alright, love. The next train here is leaving tomorrow, and then it'll be 2 days before they're here. So, all in all, three days. Your father will be kept at the other end of the train from the rest of your family- he'll know where they are, though, in case he wants to seek him out. And vice versa."

I furrowed my brows. "Can't we just fly them here? Won't it be faster?"

He took my hand, kissing each of my knuckles one by one. "They'll be safe. There's nothing to worry about. And I insist on moving them by train because the trains in the majority of all west-coast packs are driving on renewable energy, whereas flying is so bad for the environment."

I sighed, snuggling closer to him. "Alright. If you say they'll be alright, they'll be alright... I love you, Allen."

He smiled, nuzzling his face into my hair. "I love you too. Well, love, since that's settled, I was wondering if you'd like to go outside and do some snow activities?"

"Such as?"

"Oh, you know. Building a snowman, sledding, building an igloo? Whatever you're up for."

I couldn't help the smile spreading on my face. a tiny squeal leaving me.

And so, about an hour later, Allen and I were dressed up in warm coats and thick boots- heavier than any clothes I'd ever worn back home. We marched through the back door of the hallway, into the small forest area behind the cabin. The trails were cleared of snow, with thin tire tracks at the sides. Was carrying two clean Tupperware containers, one in the other. In them, a few large, dark rocks rolled around, as well as a carrot, a comb, and an old wooden pipe. Everything needed to build a proper snowman. Allen had insisted on all of it, even when he'd had to spend nearly twenty minutes just trying to find a comb.

We reached a place where two small shelter cabins were nestled in a clearing. A spot for a bonfire sat in between them, and most of the area cleared. But it seemed to have been cleared a few days ago, as a few inches of fresh new snow had coated the ground since.

Allen gestured for me to put the basket I was carrying on the step into the shelter. He'd packet it while snickering and giggling, all secretive, and not letting me peak. Sometimes, he was like a little kid. It was pretty cute. He sat down the Tupperware containers and then clapped his gloved hands together, a muted thud sounding as the fabric connected. "Alright, love, Snowman 101. What we're gonna do, first of all, is make a snowball. Go ahead."

I giggled, and then went and collected a handful of snow, trying to rub it together into a ball. It just clumped up into my gloves and fell on the ground. Allen came up behind me with a soft laugh, guiding my hands into the snow yet again, pressing it together properly into a little ball. Then he instructed me on how to roll it through the snow. He helped me push it when it got heavy. "Alright, now that the bottom part is done, you'll have to smooth it out. Like so-" he rubbed along the outside of it until the excess snow fell to the ground and the surface rounded. I followed his example until the large snowball that reached my hips was somewhat round.

Then Allen watched as I made another snowball, and rolled it around and around in the snow. When I was done, he lifted it effortlessly onto the other one, holding it there. "Great, now pad some snow where the two are meeting to make it stick together."

Giggling, I followed his instructions. He let go of it, nodding at me when it stayed in place. Then he told me to make the last part, the head. I was quick to finish it, and this one I could lift on top without help. Allen secured this one and handed me the Tupperware container with all the snowman stuff. "You decorate, I'll go ahead and find some arms for that guy." he chuckled and then headed off towards the woods. He broke two branches off a tree and broke a few more twigs off of the branches. He punched them into each side of the snowman, placing a kiss on my cheek in the passing. I put in two stones for the eyes, then some more in a curved line for the mouth, and then bottoms down along the body. I added the comb for a moustache, and then the pipe. I was just about to stuff the nose into the head when Allen came up behind me.

"Here, he needs this to stay warm," he said and gave me his hat and scarf. I giggled and put them on the snowman, and then finally added the nose. We took a few steps back, viewing the finished work.

I looked at Allen with a smile, and he smiled at me, his lips pressed together. Until we both broke down into laughter. "That... is the ugliest... snowman I have ever.... ever seen." Allen's laughter boomed off into the forest.

I tapped his arm. "Hey! I did my best! Don't be so mean!" I laughed with him until we were both out of breath.

I wiped the tears off my face with my cold gloves. "Gosh, that thing is ugly. I thought they looked like on TV."

He shook his head. "Nope. But it's well done. Now, for the next snow craft- an Igloo. Take the Tupperware containers and fill them with snow. We're making snow bricks. Get crafting."

He showed me how to shove the snow into the container, compressing it properly before tapping at the bottom of the box so the brick slid out. I did as he did, and soon a little circle of snow bricks filled up a good 6 feet diameter of the clearing. We kept adding on top of it. Allen showed me how to tap snow into the cracks to make it more structurally sound, and we worked, talking about nothing and everything.

"Sorry, how many times did you get lost in your dorm?"

"Seven, at least. I was completely clueless. The scents were all mixed up because of all the people walking around the hallways. I couldn't find my way anywhere. I had to draw a little map of how to get from the entrance to my dorm room, to the common room. I kept redrawing that over and over for the first two months."

I giggled, and then looked up at the sky. Isn't it getting a bit dark?"

He turned to me with a wicked grin. "Well yeah, it had to be dark for us to properly see the lights, right?"

I furrowed my brows. "What lights?"

"Northern lights, love. The weather is gonna be clear tonight, and it's gonna be really cold tonight. So it'll be a good chance we get to see them. And it's completely pitch black out here at night."

I stared at him. "We... we're gonna see the northern lights? Like, the green and blue and purple magic junk going on in the sky?"

He chuckled. "Yes, my love, the green and blue and purple magic junk going on in the sky. Looking forward to it?"

I nodded. "When can we see it?"

He shrugged. "A few hours probably. That's why I brought snacks. Go look in the picnic basket."

In the basket were two thermos- one with soup, Allen told me, and another with hot cocoa. Then a bag of slightly frozen marshmallows, crackers and some chocolate. A blanket at the very bottom of the basket, two bowls, a tiny pot and two spoons.

Allen headed into one of the shelter cabins and pulled out some firewood that'd been kept dry. He cleared the last bit of snow from the fire pit, and dumped the wood onto there, setting fire to a small branch with a lighter he rummaged through the basket to find.

He poured the potato soup into the pot and let it hang over the fire, stirring it with one of the spoons until it was bubbling. He filled one of the bowls and handed it to me. Then took one for himself and sat down next to me at the entrance to the shelter. We ate in silence, watching as the sky darkened and the stars began to glint in the sky. I swung my legs back and forth, looking up... until I had the odd feeling of being watched.

I turned my head. "Why are you staring?"

A smile graced his features. "The stars are reflecting in your eyes. It makes your eyes look like little pieces of the sky."

Blood swarmed and heated my cold cheeks. "Oh, uh, thanks, Allen. You're sweet. My Sweets." I kissed his cheek, which was just as cold as mine. I laughed. "You're cold."

He shrugged. "That's how it gets out here. Once we get back, we'll sit in front of the fire and warm up."

I bit my lip, nodding. "Uhu, uhu... but... I mean..." I looked around the empty area, not a soul in sight, not a sound to be heard. We were probably the only people for miles around. "We could also get warm. Here. Now."

Allen clicked his tongue, his smile turning devilish. "Here? Now?"

I sucked in a breath and nodded.

He looked around one more time, before gesturing backwards with his head. "Get in. And get your pants off, now."

We crawled in together, and Allen splayed the blanket out onto the wooden floor. I struggled to open my coat, and Allen shook his head. "No, it's cold. Just take off your bottoms. The rest will keep you warm."

My mouth fell open for a moment, but I abided and reached down and with some difficulty opened the button of my pants. I yanked them off, kicking off my boots along with it. Allen did the same but did take off his coat, leaving on his two sweaters.

✨✨✨✨✨

He spread my legs apart with a gentle movement. I opened up for him willingly, moaning when his fingers grazed along my slit, teasing by pressing gentle circles around it, tracing where my skin was reddening and puffing, waiting for him. All of him.

He was stroking himself while touching me, and all I could do was watch helplessly as his member grew harder and longer with each stroke. I moaned and tipped my hips. I needed him inside me. Deep and over and over and over again until time, life and the universe lost all meaning around me.

"Please Allen..."

He laughed under his breath. "Oh, my love. Always so eager. I mean, asking me to fuck you here? Where anyone could walk by and hear us? Hear you moaning my name and begging me to please you?"

I whined.

"Okay, love, I'll fill you up and bury myself in you... if you remind me who it is you belong to, again?"

"You."

He kissed my cheek. "You who?"

"Allen. You Allen. I'm yours. I'm all yours."

He kissed my cheek and guided himself between my thighs. He took one of my legs, hooking it over his shoulder. The muscles in my backthigh and ass stretched, but that pain disappeared when he slid into me. I took a deep breath and the slightly uncomfortable friction. Suddenly I understood why Allen was so adamant about the whole using lube thing.

But yet, when he settled deep inside me, filling me all the way up and leaving barely any room for me to even breathe...

He wasn't soft, and I didn't need him to be. He thrust back and forth, one hand around my leg, the other on my hip. Gasps and moans left us, over and over and over, our bodies growing slick and warm with need. I began sweating in my coat and reached to unzip it. When it opened, I drew in a deep breath, and then reached for the hem of my sweater, and pulled it up, over my bra.

Allen took that as the invite it was, and dipped his head down, pushing the cup of my bra down with his chin, and latching onto my nipple with the tip of his teeth. I screamed out moans, and my legs slowly, steadily began to shake.

He kept thrusting and thrusting and thrusting. And the pleasure ravaged through me. I gasped into the wooden ceiling. "Allen, come on, please just let me... make me..."

"In a moment, love. i just need to... I need to feel you for a few more minutes. Just let me... oh goddess you're so warm and wet... and... so warm..."

Wet sounds erupted every time his body connected with mine. It was fucking awesome. And so hot, and he was moving and his hands were on me, and his lips and his groans in my ears, and... and...

My back arched off the blanket. "Allen!" I screamed his name, the sound moving through the woods and echoing back to us. My toes curled and I dug my nails into his arms. He whispered my name against my chest, his words quiet and gentle like a prayer.

✨✨✨✨✨

Then he pulled out of me, the remnants from both of us leaking out from me onto the blanket.

I breathed deeply against him, and he chuckled. "Good thing I brought some napkins. Let's get you cleaned up, and then we'll make smores." he kissed my eyebrow. And then crawled out, taking some tissues. He wiped himself off of me from between my legs. Allen put his pants back on, and I reached to do the same when I actually felt the legs of the pants.

"Ugh... I kicked my boots onto my jeans. They're wet and cold with melted snow now." I wrinkled my nose.

He shrugged. "Nevermind. Wrap the blanket around you, and wait 'til they dry. It'll be a few hours before the northern lights are here. Just... eat your smores-" he handed me a telescopic bbq stick with a cold marshmallow stabbed onto the top. I stuck it towards the fire, waiting for it to warm up, as I'd seen on TV.

I swung my legs back and forth, a cold wind making its way up the blanket, making a shiver pass through me. Allen scooted closer to me, and wrapped his arm around me, while still holding his marshmallow close to the fire. When he was satisfied with the toastiness, he brought it away from the flames.

I found a cracker and some chocolate and folded them together around the marshmallow. And then I stuffed it into Allen's mouth. He coughed and laughed, his mouth all full and warm mellow running down his chin.

I made another one for myself when my own mellow had become brown, and gobbled it up as Allen had. I leaned into Allen. Once we were done with our first s'more, we continued on with another one.

Then I leaned against him, breathing in the fresh, cold air, slightly stained with the whiff of the fire.

"Allen, do you... do you remember when we walked about getting a house together?"

"Of course, my love. Why?"

I tipped my foot around in the air. "I think that when we get a place together, I want a cabin thing, like this. And a firepit, so we can make smores. And also... I think... maybe we could look into getting a house, together, next year. If you still want to."

I felt him nodding at my side. "Yes, my love. I still do want to. I'd love nothing more. We'll look into it next year. Maybe during the summer, right? We'll make it exactly how we want to. A nice, big bedroom for us, a pool for you to swim in, and a living room with special space for my piano."

A smile spread on my lips. "Yeah, that sounds really nice. Making a little life together for the two of us, and... designing the house where we'll spend it. With kids and our family and quiet dinners together after long days of work. I'm really... I'm really looking forward to it, Allen. And a big bedroom with tons of space... sounds very, very interesting, to say the least. And... I love you, Allen. So much."

He kissed my temple and then reached for the picnic basket. He poured some hot coca into the lid and handed the cup to me. I took a sip, and gave it back to him, before looking up at the sky. I narrowed my eyes.

"Is... is that..." A faint glimmer of green moved through the clouds, and I stretched my neck to see better.

Allen moved me onto his lap, resting his chin on my shoulder. I felt him smiling beside me, and looked as the vague stripe of green grew more forceful, widening and growing in the sky, dancing along with the stars in the blackness.

The lights shimmered and shined, moving and turning and blowing along with the wind. The sight alone was... I had to remind myself to breathe. The lights moved and danced and the sight of the colours...

I squeezed Allen's hand and turned my head, our lips meeting. I turned around in his lap. Our lips melting into the other's. I gasped and reached down between us, zipping up Allen's pants. He jumped for a moment, yanking everything down.

✨✨✨✨✨

He was already hard for me. I pushed my underwear a bit to the side and then sunk down on him with no hesitation. I was prepared for him already, a mewl travelling from my throat. He sunk into me over and over, and while pleasure ripped through my body, I looked up at the sky.

✨✨✨✨✨

And so I looked up at the beautiful dancing colours in the sky, my legs around Allen, and his hands around me joined together body and soul. And into the air, I whispered softly, "Thank you. Thank you for this. For giving me this life, thank you for you Allen. Thank you, thank you, thank you..."

I whispered the words over and over until we both shivered and moaned and dissolved into boneless piles of nothing together.

And I continued to show my gratitude when we got back home, with my hands and mouth and my entire body. And Allen thanked me right back the whole way.

A/N

This was just one of those chapters that felt right, y'know? Had to write it. Also, some domestic sweetness between Allen and Paige. Those are my favourite parts- that and Ares, of course. You will be seeing more of him.

I've still got another 2 exams left, as well as 2 annual tests. You know how it is. High school is yanking my teeth out, ya'll.

Question for ya'll: This is more for creative purposes, but if you had full control of how this story would end, basically, if you were the writer, what would you do with the story (other than killing off Paige and replacing her- you rascals). I'm just curious.

(For the records, your answers will have no impact on the story. I have a general idea of how I want it to end. Ya'll might give me some inspo though)

Fact about me: I suck at chemistry. Which sucks when I have to do an exam in it. Oh, and bonus fact: I love all of you, and I love your comments, and you're the most wonderful readers I could ever ask for.
